Oysters were super fresh and delicious!! Service was fast and they were very attentive. They make a really good lemon drop martini also 🍸
Just walked into tracks with 4 friends. Female bartender looks at us ( in Christmas attire) And she said “ leave, we don’t serve people from Santa con”I’ve never been kicked out of a bar before. Honestly embarrassing. She was nasty too. What a shame because I’m a very generous person.
You know how you dont fully know how much you value something until its gone? Well, with corona lockdown, restaurants closing, and trying not to come into city, being cautious and all, I have missed Tracks so much! Even in new location, there is same familiar friendly staff, good food, and a home away from home bar is what Tracks means to me. So happy and thankful to have tracks open again. The limited menu was good but now expanded menu is even better. Definitely appreciating everything about tracks! If COVID-19 has taught us anything, its to appreciate what we have and not to take what we value for granted. So thank you Tracks for being back!
Great raw bar with nice ambiance. Music is not too loud as in other sports bar and food is good with very reasonable price.Met owner Bruce in abus and he recommended me to come to the restaurant and certainly was very good advice. He is doing very good job running this restaurant.
I came here for lunch because of a coworkers recommendation since they are supposed to have really good seafood and I love seafood. The food here is really tasty. I started with the New England Clam Chowder in a bread bowl and had the Lobster Ravioli for my main. My Bloody Mary was awesome! Service was rather quick (especially for lunchtime), but the only critique that I have is that I felt like I was being rushed between my appetizer and main. Overall, I would come back again and I recommend for anyone who has time to kill waiting for the LIRR to check this place out. They will however be closing from the LIRR location soon and will be reopening in the fall on 31st Street near MSG.
Formerly located in Penn Station, a sports bar with a transit theme decor and excellent seafood. Try the crab cake burger, really good.
The hot wings were really spicy. We get hot wings everywhere and these were the hottest in the just plain hotcategory. Waitress service was very good even though they were super busy.
Great place to go before a game at the garden. Food was good and so was the service. Hopping place.
Great food and wonderful customer service! My hubby and I were visiting out of Miami and we just walked in here and had a great experience, our bartender Eileen was awesome.
One of the worst bars/grills ever.Everytime me and my coworkers go in there for the last 4 years we always get run out quick. The waitress will tell us the kitchen is closing suddenly when they dont tell anyone else or any other group of people in there.Tonight once we got there we were looking at the menu and waiting for a friend all of a sudden the waitress tells us the kitchen is closing, again, not the first time they have done this to us,and they are not telling anyone else.So then my friend Is the last one eating and suddenly they tell us last call, like they really want us out of their quick.but they are not telling any of the white people in their anything and they are all drinking comfortably with no need to rush.I hope their is another earthquake and the workers at tracks all get buried under the bar/grill
Tracks is a great sports bar located next to the Garden that serves excellent food.Their wings are among the very best anywhere.Oysters and shrimp are excellent. There isnt anything weve ordered that wasnt good.On our next visit, I am going to speak with the bartender about their old fashioneds to see if we can get them to upgrade to orange bitters and Luxardo cherries, maybe make it with a top shelf rye and call it The Engineers Old Fashioned, a House Specialty Cocktail.
Came here for a couple drinks before a concert last night. Warren at the bar was impeccably attentive, great light conversation that wasn’t overbearing and was able to help the large crowd quickly. He deserves a raise or promotion to head bartender. The place was clean, seemed very organized and all around me seemed they were enjoying themselves with meals and drinks. 15/10 will be coming back, next time to eat as well. Thank you for being a great pub near the garden.
Good place to stop by if youre looking for a pre-theater meal or are just getting off the train. I was surprised that when I entered, I wasnt asked if I wanted to have a seat at the bar. Instead I was seated alone by the window booth for 4. Food was okay but satisfying.
This place has a simple interior but at the same time, it has themes. It is located close to the train station that is why everything is related to the trains but I like it. Even the plates have railroad prints on them. The food was good. We stopped by for a couple of drinks and some appetizers. We ordered: chicken wings, seasoned cross tracks fries, spicy shrimp tacos, oysters, and shrimp cocktail. The service was good. Overall everything was good.
Food was good but the cleanliness of the restaurant was very poor. Debris all over the floor and the plates were not clean.
Amazing crab cakes and chicken wings. Cozy, great service.
Old time favorite! A beer & some Blue Point Oysters! Back in the day they were in Penn Station. ..just across the street! Missed my Blue Point Toadted Lager, this time not offered.
This is not what I expected when I looked it up online. Its a sports bar, not a seafood bar. We didnt realize that we were going on a night with a Rangers game across the street at Madison Square Garden. We were sat immediately, but it was LOUD! By the time the game started, it was dead. Not the fault of the restaurant, but it made for a jarring experience. The food was fine, nothing special. The mussels were yummy. The tacos were overloaded, but fine. The nachos were meh. My sister had the espresso martini and it was GROSS. We all had a taste and none of us wanted to finish it. That said, the fries are fantastic. We had one order and ended up getting a second. Both were hot and fresh.
Nothing special about this joint. It does the trick though when I need my chicken wings and onion ring fix.
Went to watch the Rangers vs Capitals and had a good time. Great food and drinks. Will be back for Rangers vs possible Hurricanes matchup.
Busy night bc of the concert going on across the street at msg but food came out fast and tasty. Good selection on beer . I started woth a Sams winter and then went to a yingling after. Both tasted fresh and not stale. Will go back again for sure.
Warren at the bar is an absolute gem. The fried cod and fried tilapia sandwich is unconditionally delicious. Staff is the most friendly in the area by an absolute mile. Labatt blue on tap. What more could anyone ask for?
Great place to come before a concert . Amazing bartender!!
Harassment and Bullying Experience - Avoid at All Costs!I had an absolutely horrendous experience here that needs to be shared. I visited with coworkers and ended up being subjected to bullying and harassment by their security guard, Blint (apologies if misspelled).Upon entering, we were unsure about our party size, and despite explaining the situation to the hostess, we were directed to the already packed bar. When we finally had our party of 6-7 people and tried to arrange some extra seats with the server, trouble began.Blint, out of nowhere, decided to make condescending remarks like figure it out and learn how to count. His behavior was not only unprofessional but downright intimidating. I tried to discuss this with the manager, but to my dismay, they showed complete disregard, stating that this was how they ran their business. The real shocker came when leaving the establishment. Blint, seemingly obsessed with singling me out, made inappropriate comments like Learn how to count before you come next time. This unwarranted behavior continued even when I tried to speak with the manager, who was indifferent and dismissive, yelling at us, This is how we run the business. As if that werent enough, Blint followed me around, harassing and intimidating me. I felt unsafe and was brought to tears by his outrageous comments like Dont you try to cry now, dont you try to play the victim now. The managers response, when my coworkers supported my complaint, was equally appalling - What do you want me to do? without any explanation or apology. My overall experience was traumatizing, and I firmly believe TRACKS needs to be held accountable for its staffs harassment and bullying. No one should endure such treatment. I strongly advise against coming here, and I hope they take immediate actions to rectify their unacceptable behavior.
Love Tracks! The service is always top notch as the bartenders are extremely welcoming. The beer is always super cold and its the best place to meet friends before and after an event at the Garden
The people, their fries 🍟=delicious, and their stella on tap so good 👍 👌
Ain’t been here in like 2 years, oysters are still phenomenal and fresh but I tried the ribs too for the first time and the description on the menu says fall off the bone but that’s an understatement! Literally you pick up the bone and it falls off immediately and great flavor melts in your mouth. I feel like they have to move extra extra slow when putting it on the plate so that the bones even stay on the meat when plating it. Have to come back.
I’m very impressed. This is literally the best crab cake I’ve tried in midtown Manhattan in 10 years living here. Classic bar atmosphere, good beer selection, cocktails. I’m gonna try more food here, but crab cakes are damn best in midtown!
Trish was wonderful to chat with before our show! Very good mozzarella sticks.
Doorman/bouncer was a pretentious douche. Overcrowded overrated
Burger was dry and absolutely no flavor on burger meat.... no seasoning to elevate your taste buds. Overall boring... they claim best burger in area.. I doubt that... just go to the corner smashburger they have a thin patty but at least they have flavor on there burgers...
Good oysters, good beer. The staff will not try to be your best friend, but will do the necessary. If youre around, its worth a visit!
No complaints about my dinner, but the service was not too hot. We had to ask another server for refills, more crackers, and the bill. The salmon with dill sauce is delicious and so were the oysters from the raw bar.
Went to Tracks bar and grill for an after work Team Building with my coworkers. It was my first time there and I was pretty impressed with the welcoming and quick service provided by the waiter/ waitress there. We enjoyed their Buffalo chicken wings, Crunchy Mozzarella sticks, loaded nachos, Chicken quesadilla along with a few more delectable bites!
Pretty good food. Very good bar food or quick eats. Food is tasty and comes out quick. Great for a quick bite before MSG and gives discounts for parking next door. I recommend the wings and steak sandwich.
The food here is definitely overpriced for what it offers, absolutely mediocre and the owner is one of the most disrespectful people we have ever met in our years of travel. We LOVE visiting NYC a few times a year and trust us, stay away from this restaurant. There are MANY different restaurants around with better food and WAY better service.Do not give your hard-earned cash to this place. The owner is a clown of a human. Literally cant stress this enough.
Across 31st street from Madison Square Garden, hidden behind near permanent scaffolding, theyre is an amazing Irish bar/ restaurant!Inside is a massive space, with two bars, dozens of chairs and tables and old school New Yorkers getting their drink and reasonably priced food on.I came by for a beer and a shot and some nachos real quick before the Knicks game. Super friendly host, and fast service. Solid pre game spot. My new meet up spot! Thank you
Excellent customer service. Fast and cold beer. Excellent location for pregame or pre concert. You might just want to stop take the steam off before the train ride home. Cheers!
Had lunch there for the 2nd time this summer and really enjoyed it. The buffalo shrimp salad on the specials menu was just right, with lots of shrimp that were nit as spicy as I had expected. The 3 people I was with enjoyed their lunches and thought the menu was good.
Excellent Guinness on tap, always good service. Oysters fresh and cold, but not properly shelled, which I tend to find theyre rarely shucked correctly that slide right into your mouth without a little tugging on whats stuck to the shell. Still highly recommend, never ate anything other than raw bar there.
Tracks Bar and Grill is a wonderful place to go if you are near Madison Square Garden and need great food and drinks at good prices! It has a large bar are and many places to sit down for food. I recommend the oysters and Tracks (waffle) fries! Great pint of Guiness as well as other drafts.
Food was good, had the muscles with white wine which were very bland, side of marinara was quite good though. The crab cakes were dry but the sauce was good. The cake tasted a bit like the refrigerator. Service was great, I really liked the woman who helped us. It was a bit hard to tell who worked there and who didnt. Over all, I dont regret going but not rushing to go back. Without the $10 parking discount, Im more likely to go to another restaurant to be honest.
Good place to go to while you wait for your train at Penn Station across the street. Reasonably priced food available here. Bar seating and tables. Restrooms and friendly staff. Meet your friends here when going out on the town, more relaxing than to meet in Penn Station.
Homey, friendly pub vibes. The staff were lovely to be around and the drinks were fabulous.
Great bartenders. Ranger bar, best for before or after a game. Great crowd on off nights as well.
Tracks is a Five Star Joint❗We stopped for a snack and will absolutely go back.Oysters were on point 😁The 🔥 wings could be the best we have had and the Bleu Cheese dressing was LOADED with chunks.Shrimp were a cooked just right and the staff friendly and professional. If they had Manhattan Chowder on the menu it would be the Perfect Penn Station Oyster Bar 😉
I dont know if the owners changed but its just not the same. You cannot claim to be an Oyster Bar and give only two choices of oysters. The service was ok. The food was lackluster. The menu has been cut in half since its unfortunate ouster from Penn Station. Step it up Tracks...
Perfect portion sizes. My personal go to is a turkey burger deluxe with sweet potato fries. Ideal spot before a game or concert.
Nicer inside than the old location but I kinda miss the ambiance that the it had.
Absolutely love Tracks. They serve the freshest oysters in the area. All of their food is great 👍.
Food and drinks are good, service is usually good but can be a bit slow when its crowded. Bartenders and waitstaff are pleasant though they dont take kindly to rude customers and give it back. Bartenders everywhere despise the hey, HEY! hand wavers and the finger snappers so if thats you or if you act like a spoiled brat - youll get the reaction you merit. Weeknight regular since 07.
Tracks is the best thing about Penn Station. I have had NO ISSUES with the management or any of its staff and Im a minority as well. The food is excellent and the staff there are among the friendliest I have ever encountered.Since having my daughter, I dont go out much anymore, but when I do, Tracks is ALWAYS my first choice.
Best fries I have ever tasted. Waitress was great, loved her Irish accent.
Great service, excellent burger, good beer selection. Staff was nice and the room was able to accommodate a lot of people. Equally the bar is large and allows for a large amounts of people to walk up and eat. Great place.
I had a very poor experience with service today. I walked in mid-afternoon, not particularly busy, and sat at the bar. It took a good five minutes before the bartender interrupted her conversation at one end to come see what I might want. When I finished my meal and drink (which were good) it took forever to get her attention to cash out. To cap it off, she ran my card and then spent another five minutes chatting with people before coming back to let me sign it and leave. As a result I missed a connection that I should have had no trouble with. Its my fault for not being rude and pressing the issue, but this was well below the minimum service I would have expected and Im very disappointed.
Great raw bar and great place to kill time while you are waiting for a train. Friendly bar and timely staff to get you in and out before your train. Rarely a spare seat during and post happy hour, but at the same time you don’t mind standing and waiting.
Excellent oyster spot. I was kind of scared at first but they have a great selection. Got a good pour on my Guiness as well. Prices are decent for Manhattan.
Went here before going to basketball at madison Square gardenGreat service good food and decent beerHighly recommended
Right in the heart of Penn Station near the LIRR. Nice atmosphere and great food. Beer selection is decent but not great. A feature of the bar is that it is one of the longest bars around. I think its about 90ft long. One exit connects to the subway system and the other to the LIRR. Check it out for yourself.
Had a good time at the bar with my bro, the host was great, calamari was cooked perfect & the oysters prep clean. Decent spot to kill time
Simple menu. Executed well. Great soup from the next door shop. A bit run down inside but not tragic.
Food is fresh and delish and it was great seeing one of our favorite bartenders Thersa we love you, cant wait to come back. See you soon!
Tracks is a great place to get good food and drinks at a reasonable price the original Tracks in Penn Station will always be missed but this one is worth a try and Debbies picture is prominently displayed here as well
Food was really good, but expensive. Staff was really nice. Dessert was delicious, I had apple pie. Good places for sports and hang out with friends.
Love this place. Great food & beer selection. A must visit venue. Stop by and say hello to Warren The Bartender...🍺🍺🍺.
Liked the place but food was only average. Kobe sliders were a little shy, needs a little upgrade taste and flavours.
Mainly I am in Penn catching Amtrak. I missed a train and had over two hours to wait until the next one. So I used this app to find something better than the TGIF near the Amtrak area (better than the TGIF being a rather low bar.)To find Tracks required spelunking into the bowels of Penn, where like some Renaissance explorer or character in Land of the Lost, I emerged in the LIRR passenger area. It was the undiscovered country. It was different than the Penn further towards the sunlight. There were different sights, sounds, and scents; the confused, churning throng of exotic humanity looked exotic, dressed in unusual fashion, and spoke in an indecipherable dialect. I was a stranger in a strange land. And there on the left side of LIRR ticket windows was Tracks. It has an endless mahogany bar, hipster soundtrack, professional bartender and a really good sea food menu. It could make a go of it as a topside restaurant exposed to the sunlight.I had a raw bar sampler and a bloody mary. Both were notable. The clams, shrimp, oysters, and scallops were fresh and the drink was strong and spicy. I also had a side of house made guacamole and chips that were really good. Next time I am in NY I might even take friends on the journey down just for some seafood and cocktails here. As well as the foreign locale. If you are not jazzed by the raw bar there are also a variety of cooked appetizers and entrees, including vegetarian, and other non-seafood.
Caroline was our bartender and she was absolutely amazing. Thank you so much for your amazing 5 star customer service. Youre doing a great job. I will be back 👍🧡
Awful. Tried to sit at the bar. Smelled like VOMIT! Tried to sit at a high top. Table covered in fruit flies!. Finally settled for the dining room. Of course waitress forgets to put my order in. 40 mins for Ravioli! Ravs appetizer 3 ravs $11. Ravs entree 5 Ravs $21. side salad $7. menu salad 8.50. The math not working out here. Some happy hour. big thumbs down. worst $40 I ever spent. so many other choices around. wont be back, ever.
Tracks is back. There was a full party plus a film crew taping some show. Great service. Joe the Bartender was spot on. All the best to the injured Caroline.
Always a to-go place before a concert ☺ and Warren is the best! He even remembers what I drink and always friendly!😊
Alright this place is something special that use to be in MSG but re-opened at a new location near by and has always delivered! Staffing is always friendly and the food is fantastic....I still have all my old tokens too!
The best bartenders in NYC.And I would put the chicken wings up against the best in NY. Great place anytime!
Worst service ever by what seem to be the only bleach blond about 55 in this place. We came in to eat no welcome YOU GUYS EATING IN we said yes got seated then she returned and slammed both menus on the end of the table an walked away..ok! Then came to our table 5 times in the firat 3 mins we were seates to ask if we were ready to order...i know the place is called TRACKS but what was her hurry the place wasnt busy at all! When we gor to order we ask for mild an bbq wings it took her 2 minutes to figure out that we ordered 2 set her excuse was that she thought we were askin her to separate one order of wings and make them different umm do u sell them like that?? NO SO WHY DO YOU THINK THATS WHAT WE WANT?? Maybe it was the qord broke we had written on our forheads..our order came an both wings we spicy my eyes tear on the bbq wings so we calles her to ask..Me: hi both wings are spicy is that how it should beBlondie: NO ITS NOT..I HAD THEM FOR DINNER..ME: well im telling you this bbq wings is spicyBlondie: DO YOU WANT THR WINGS OR NOT CUZ IM TELLING YOU I HAD THEM FOR DINNER AND ITS NOT SPICY..At that point i moved over on my seat an asked her to sit with me an try the wings..Blondie: Im working i cant do that so you want it or not cuz i can take it back!Me: No! get me the manager please!Blondie: (then she yells) oh yes i think thats a great idea! Then proceeded to get the manager. The manager came after she gave her side of the story but though he was a nice man he seemed to have a soft spot for Blondie cuz he says weve never gotten a complaint about her can i fix the issue i said yes but he didnt care to hear about my experience but i made it ckear to him that i dont want her coming back to my table and our server became our host...im not sure if this girl is related to Donald Trump or if she and the manager are closer than co-workers but there was no appology...we didnt spend as much as we would have but i guess no one cared since we were judged the minute we walked into the place...Rasism is an understatement !
Awesome spot! Great party atmosphere and close to Port Authority and across from Penn Station! Obviously, get those oysters!
Enjoyed the seafood selection and the subway/train ambiance! Nice bar/pub with real good food options.
Excellent shrimp cocktail. Unbelievable New York strip steak. The bartender Joe was very professional.
Great place to grab a bite an a drink while waiting or visiting Penn Station 🚉. Great prices an the fast Sevice why go to McDonald’s an spend over 10 when you can get real food . Tracks where all trains meet.
Piping hot entrees, fantastic staff! Oysters were fantastic, ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender!
My favorite spot in the area. Reasonable prices, welcoming quick service, delicious food. Not what you regularly can expect from a commuters bar.
Across from Penn Train Station and Madison Square Garden
Thank God Tracks is open at its new location. Directly across from entrance to MSG.Larger dining areaSame great food and drinks.Love that screaming shrimp
My bestfriend and I came as soon as I got off the and I had a great time.
Great food. Great service. And a great place to hang out before and/or after an event at MSG.
Great placeGreat atmosphereGreat foodGreat serviceReasonable pricesBest clam chowder I’ve ever had!!!Convenient at Penn Station next to LIRR ticket booths.
Excellent Food!!! Great aTable Service and Bar Service!!! Im a regular there after work on Wednesday and Friday nights.
It was unexpected to find a good seafood restaurant in the train station! The clam chowder was tasty!
Great atmosphere, clean, welcoming, great food, this is the spot for every occasion. I’m going here before the Billy Joel’s concert later this year 😎😎😎😎
The crabmeat sandwich and those fries were EVERYTHING! My lemonade vodka was EXCELLENT!!!
Really didnt expect the food to be as delicious as it was. Shrimp tacos were awesome. Cant wait to return
Very good Taps! Cold and strong carbonation. So many bars dont have this pf late.
Great seafood selection in this Penn Station mainstay. So glad Tracks surviving & thriving on 31st St
Very reasonable prices especially right down the street from Madison Square Garden. Sandwich was very tasty, and the wings were great.
I always look forward to going to tracks. It has always been consistently good. Not to mention excellent staff.
Excellent staff, lots of beers on tap and very good service considering place was full.
Came to NYC for a concert . Got very quick seating and food was good and not too expensive.
We love TRACKS!! Great wings, crab cake and Fish & Chips!!!
Some of the oysters where so tiny I thought shell was empty! Medium burger was very rare,The staff was very good.Oh and there was a ton of sand and shell bits I oystersS. Been going g to TRACKS FOR YEARS KITCHEN NEEDS HELP
Went there for drinks after a show at the garden. Friendly, great atmosphere, and great cocktails!
Get the blue point oysters!!
Food and service were superb. Great little bar. Chowder in the sourdough loaf was something else and lovely steak too.
Delicious food. Friendly service. Very reasonably priced. A surprising find in Penn Station.
It was better as Cafe 31. Food acceptable better food & drink inside Penn Station at Kabooze.
Just a place to go to fill time before an event at the garden. Wouldnt be a restaurant I would go to any other time. Ever. Food is average and expensive.
One of my favorite servers is gone, but its still a beautiful place.
BEST WINGS I HAVE HAD SO FAR IN NYC!! Perfect place for food and beer before a Rangers game!
My wife and I eat here all the time. It’s the best bar food in the area. The staff handles the MSG crowd with ease. Fiona’s the best!
The food was fresh and the service was fast! Sooo pretty too!
Ive been here several times and its definitely overlooked by commuters. Aside from the long, long bar, there are booths in the back. I had the tomato & mozzarella salad with grilled chicken and my dad had the charbroil chicken sandwich. Service and food was good and we were able to catch up as dad and son without being interrupted by our waiter.Highly recommended for meeting someone at Penn Station for a sit-down meal with wait staff compared to all the other quick-bite eat & run commuter-friendly places on the lower level at Penn Station. To find it, Tracks is located adjacent to McDonalds by the 7th Avenue su way trains entrance.
This place is really a winner, especially for the neighborhood near Penn Station. Good food and a good value.
Can’t afford to take your girlie girl to the Knicks Game this is the place for you!Great Food & Vibes during Game Time!
Go see Fiona. Great bartender. Clams on the half shell cold Corona. Great combo
Fish and chips was really really good
Grabbed a cocktail before heading across the street to MSQ.
Great seafood bar, my favorite pregame spot before a Rangers game
Excellent food, pricing is awesome on both the drinks and food
Their drinks were good. Not their French fries
Good food, good Service with great friends before a Knicks game, priceless.
So happy its back! Larger bar with lots of taps. Raw bar open late. Quick service
Probably the worst nachos I’ve ever had in my life. It was canned chicken, canned salsa and canned guacamole. It actually looked like vomit. We ended up leaving after a couple bites of chips. Would not recommend!
Good eats for lunch, reasonably priced.
I have been here multiple times … it’s a great nyc 🗽 commuter bar and pre game spot for Madison Square Garden events !! It’s your true no thrills local bar !! Definitely worth coming !Enjoy a good beer and cheap glass of red 💪
Best bar in Penn, all the bartenders are awesome but definitely miss Mackenzie!
Best bar in midtown, hands down. Friendly staff, awesome food.
Great steaks, great food, great service. I will be back.
Great pregame hangout, food was good and staff were friendly and helpful.
Great place for drink and food when going to or from Penn Station.
Great food, but you cant get onion rings on event nights 😫
After hours of keeping up with my older son and his friends, I needed a place to rest while they continued to explore the city. I plopped down on a barstool, and from there on, I felt special. The bartender was a delight. Friendly and personable. Warren, thank you for making my evening special. I had a few pints and an appetizer. My boys caught up with me and joined for a drink or two. The atmosphere is such that one does not feel like an outsider. Loved it, and it will be my hang spot when I cant keep up with the kids.
Always a great crowd and great food. The staff here is awesome as well
Great atmosphere wit a tremendous wait staff and bartenders!!
Bar food not that great. Moved from Penn Station I never liked this place & with the new location change I still dont. Go to TRI NA NOG good food great ambiance great place for date or friends.
Great beer, great food, great atmosphere. Five star gem.
Wow. Talk about the door getting slammed in your face.....Ive never experienced that. Im never going here again and Ill make sure my family/ clients never go here. So upsetting
Service was great, young girl who was helping me was super cool as I didnt realize I was rolling a blunt on the dish lol and she handled great! Take it from a guy from Brooklyn great spot!
Always go here after work with co-workers. Food is pretty. The Buffalo wings are really good. Went for lunch the other day and got the Cajun chicken wrap. Tasted great. All in all not a bad spot.
Great place for food and drink before and after a event at MSG.
This is the cleanest bar Ive ever been to! A perfect place to wait for our Amtrak train.
Great food. Prompt service. Thanks
These are the nicest and hardest working bartenders in the city. Shout out to Teresa, Warren and Melissa for making our trips so memorable!
First time at tracks. Excellent selection of food. Apps & meal were very good. Prices were very reasonable. Beer and liquor prices were the best Ive seen in a long time. Will be visiting again next time I go to an event at the garden
Great for pre MSG event. Located right at the entrance of MSG.Great seafood. Great service at reasonable prices for Manhattan
Just had drinks. Convenient ly located across from Madison square.
It has a railroad motif. Very popular spot for a drink or to get something to eat.
Great food, and oysters. Staff was great
We did not eat. We popped In for a drink before a concert. There was a lively crowd there and it smelled like the food was good, but we just had time for a drink.
I messed up one time now the bartenders hate me
Great food, oysters were amazing.
Always nice here.
Great location staff and food
Very busy place, especially before a show at MSG. No onion rings or fries when that busy. Scallop salad was good, garlic bread excellent. As for the seafood tower, they need to employ a better shucker, there were TOO many shell slivers in the oysters, and some of the larger oysters were mangled. I love that they serve mignonette with their oysters! The tap beer was nice and cold!We may give them another chance, but well only order a couple of oysters instead of a tower to see the quality of the shuck.
Good place, drinks need to be more refreshing 😌
Service was almost non existent. Doesnt have the charm of the original Tracks. Place was dead at 7pm. My guess is itll be closed inside of a year
The bartender (Nick) is super fun. Good food.
It was ok. Food was decent enough.
My favorite pub in the city that boasts the best saw bar in the city
Super friendly staff!
After moving out of Penn Station I was hoping the the food & service remained as good as it used to be. I was NOT Disappointed. The oysters & the sandwiches were delish. Stop by if your around Penn Station and relax a little.
Great place. Fun atmosphere. Amazing food!
Great vibe, awesome bartenders. Fun spot!
Tracks is closed & will be dearly missed. Fortunately it says they are moving across the street & opening this month (September)
Best part of the Penn Station experience. Tracks has not lost a step after relocating just outside the terminal. So glad they are back.
Great food, workers were super nice. 100% would recommend
Food is ok. Wings are good. Pretty much frozen food in a bag, box or can cooked and dressed up. A little overpriced what it is.
Great chicken quesedillas but service could def be better.
Good burger -mushrooms & Swiss w/sweet potato fries
Initially came here because a friend of mine loves oysters, but in the end we didnt end up getting them. We stopped in on a Monday night around 9:30-10:00pmish. The bartender initially told us that they only had shrimp cocktail for food. When I explained that I didnt want seafood he kindly asked the kitchen if they could accommodate and they were able to offer me other options on the menu. My friend ended up getting a seafood linguini that he absolutely loved. I had the fries and mozzarella sticks and they tasted as expected. I had an amaretto sour and it was good, made the old fashioned way with egg whites which I havent seen in awhile but like I said it was good. My friend ended up ordering an old fashioned and something was off with his drink. He ordered something different and it was still pretty bad. Other than that it was a good experience overall. We spent a little over $100 for the food and drinks
Being a train buff like the owner i enjoyed looking at all the railroadiana stuff hanging on the walls and the beer choices were excellent
So convenient. Good food, service and selection
Staff are the best. Always attentive. Food is great. Fast service. Place is always clean. Love going there before an MSG event.Great to start a Rangers game at Tracks. They are the best
Owner is an absolute a**hole. Disrespected me and my mother at the door. Yelled in my mothers face on her birthday. He’s lucky it wasn’t someone else because he would’ve gotten knocked tf out. Food was terrible and the service was wack. If the owner feels away feel free to ask me for my email and we can talk this out in person.
Great food and drinks. The stuffed clams are everything
Great, quiet spot for a snack and a drink before the train!
Turkey Burger was a lot better than expected. Service was great. Prices for a restaurant in Manhattan very reasonable.
New location, diferent vibe, as usual great staff and food.
Every time I come to NYC, this is the place I enjoy the most for hanging out while having some great beers and meals.Thank you guys!
Waiting for the food was tedious, took 45minites. Not acceptable
Went here twice this trip. Really good burger here. Great waffle fries and nachos as well!
Awesome Place, To Watch Some Baseball, Basketball, Football, Soccer
Friendly staff, Great service 😁
Stopped here to meet the guys before heading to Yankees game. Great service and friendly! Food was great from apps to entrées. Bread makes a sandwich and they do it right here. Nice decor. Spaced out well for current conditions. Definitely a spot to grab food and a drink.
Solid Burger in the heart of Manhattan. Mike one of the principal owners good guy. Great spot before a game or concerts prices are good 👍
Long time patron great food....great staff
Good spot before the garden. Service was not good
I went there a few years ago with friends visiting from Massachusetts. We had a great time at the bar. Oysters were WONDERFUL. The bartender was hilarious. We were all on our phones so he took mine and threatened the others. After that we just talked, laughed and had the best time! Love it
Awesome tuna steak salad, nice wait staff. Off-ave location make it along best pics near MSG
I ordered. Mussels Fran Diavolo. WOW. I ate the broth with a spoon. Great Food. Also had delicious Baby Back Ribs. Who knew 5 star food. Recommend ask for Joe outstanding service. My water was never empty.
Amazing gem in midtown right across from Madison Square Garden! Prices were fanfriggintastic! Staff very accommodating and just great
Very Good oysters (according to my sister whos very picky about them), subpar nachos (according to me who tends to order them a lot) and decent wings. Overall price was okay for New York. Service was a bit off, but thats becoming the new normal since the pandemic and labor shortages. On balance, not bad, but thats about it.
It was great! We had wings as an appetizer and lobster rolls for the main meal. Lobster roll was outstanding - huge chunks of lobster! The restaurant was quiet enough for us to have extensive conversations. Our waitress was very nice, attentive as needed and not hovering. All in all very nice
The place is one of those special finds where the food is great and the service is outstanding. Drinks are strong and the classic train motif gives you so much to look at while you are eating. They were in Penn Station and now theyre in their new more spacious location. Check it out, Im sure youll be pleasantly surprised.
Only been for drinks and bar food, but never had a bad experience!
Wait staff attentive, lots of menu choices, food was delicious and martini was great!
The food is great, friendly staff and not noisy. I would give it 5 stars except for the neighborhood. Having said that when there programs going on at MSG there cops on the street.
Good fish and chips.
An excellent place to get a drink or two before your train arrives. If youre lucky enough to get John as your bartender, youre in good hands. The chili appetizer is quite filling if you have the time. Comes out reasonably quick.
The fish and chips were really good.
Tracks Oyster Bar is a great place to go before a show at MSG. Good food and service with a very decent selection of craft beer on tap
Nice place for a beer and watching sports. Close to MSG. Food is okay, prices are fair.
