5 Napkin Burger

Ive been dining with 5NB since the Hells Kitchen location opened many years ago. Its always been a reliable and dependable restaurant. In the past decade, Ive preferred the UWS location, which has more of a neighborhood vibe.Last nights visit did not disappoint. My guest selected a burger, and I decided to try something new; a sushi combo. The place was packed like I have not seen it for a while, and the service team was gliding over the floor in high speed.Out visit was a great experience, but what Id like to highlight is the joyous and efficient service that our server Jose delivered. He is a perfect example of someone who loves what they do, someone who takes pride in what they do, and someone who completely understands what good service is. Though it was incredibly busy, he was very attentive and he seemed to make more effort than was required. I dine out frequently, in a great variety of establishments; not every server enjoys what they do. Not every server has the temerity to maneuver the needs and expectations of a moody customer base. Jose was fantastic! Kudos to the management team that decided he would be a great representative of 5NB.

We went to dinner with my family, they have excellent service, Michelle served us and she was great 👌, she is very kind and helpful, it is difficult to find people like her. The strawberry shake is delicious, try it! Although everything was delicious; 100% recommended (and they have a childrens menu)

I like the atmosphere, there is a burger place and sushi place together. Very interesting. I got the burger with bacon. I have to say delicious burger but a little bit too pricy. The fries are not included and the server didn’t mention it.

The food was pretty good. We ordered from the happy hour menu. The shrimp tacos were not the best. It was a tempura shrimp with a soft tortilla shell but that tortilla was hard and kinda stale. The taco is meant to be spicy but I got the spicy sauce on the side due to my battle with acid reflux. The taco left much to desired for $10 for 2 so I would try something different next time. The staff here has always been courteous and accommodating. The wings are my favorite. I wish you could order 2 portion sizes because I wanted more after these were done because they are so tasty. We also got an onion tower not pictured here but it was delicious nonetheless just make sure you eat it while it’s hot.

Our server Jerry was absolutely delightful. We asked for recommendations on the menu, he first asked if we wanted his favorites or most ordered. We wanted his and he offered a variety of suggestions and explained the flavor profiles of each item. He was friendly, service oriented and a top notch host of our table. My first time stopping here after a client meeting. I don’t remember what burger I had but it was very good well above average. The onion rings however are the very best onion rings I have ever had, anywhere. If there is any place that can compete with this place on onion rings I’m there. Serving size, presentation, temperature taste etc. They didn’t miss a single beat I can’t say enough good things about them. If you like a good onion ring, this is a must try.

Concern Regarding Customer Service IncidentI am writing to bring to your attention an incident I witnessed involving a staff member, Maggie, who supposed to be a manager during my recent visit. I observed her speaking to an elderly Black woman who was accompanied by a small service dog in a carry-on bag. The interaction appeared to be quite distressing, as Maggie requested legal documentation for the service dog and continued to address the lady in a manner that came across as rude.Every customer deserves to be treated with respect and kindness, particularly in situations involving service animals. Staff must demonstrate understanding and compassion, especially towards vulnerable individuals.I hope you will take this feedback seriously and consider providing additional customer service and sensitivity training to your staff. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

The food was great! My husband and I both ordered the sushi special - tempura roll, crispy rice and taco - and it was great. Our server, Mel, was just lovely. Very warm, welcoming and friendly. She made it an all around great experience. We’ll be back. Thanks, Mel!

The best burger in the city! Great atmosphere and extensive menu. Full service bar for drinks if you need to wait to be seated. Cocktails and shakes were delicious, and will definitely be returning for a 5 napkin burger. Jack took great care of us. Highly recommend.

Love this restaurant! Was here with a friend and we had such a great experience. The service was outstanding! The host was welcoming and our server Charlie was the best! He is soo sweet and very knowledgeable about the menu. Must get the 5 Napkin burger or if your looking for something lighter the greens and grains salad with the salmon is also a great choice!

A few branch located in Manhattan island, and we went this one.First I have to say that the staff was polite and shown to us their hospitalities. Everything was good.We ordered Truffle Burger and the other meals. All thing that we tasted was really good.Only I can criticize the price of small milk shake. The price for the small milkshake was too much.

Jake was our server tonight and delivered outstanding service. Great personality. And shout out to the GM who is always so attentive & interactive. We started with a delicious spinach artichoke dip followed by my patty melt and my boyfriend 5 napkin burger. Both made to order and juicy and tasty. The diablo agave cocktail is a winner. Love this spot.

Last minute location find. Ended up going right before the kitchen closed. Loved that they had a great vegan selection. From apps, to entree to dessert. We got options! Had the impossible burger. Was very delicious and tall. And for dessert had the vegan sundae. It was very delicious. 10/10 would come again.

We had a great meal! Loved the greens and grains salad as a starter, and sweet potato fries with our burgers. The 5 napkin burger is a whole lot of burger - come hungry! Thanks to Mel for great service.

At lunchtime on Tuesday, outdoor tables were available, no waiting. During the course of our leisurely lunch, tables turned over quickly. Sometimes all the tables were full, sometimes several tables were available. Enjoyed a table in the rare spring sunshine, on the sidewalk on Broadway, watching the people walk by. The onion rings tower was delicious and crispy, with both blue cheese and Caesar dressing for dipping. Shared an 8 ounce guacamole burger, which was plenty for two people. They substituted a different type of cheese at our request. We are on a low carb diet so they wrapped our burger in lettuce as a substitute for a bun. Since we already had cut the burger in half, I just used a knife and fork to eat my portion. Cooked at a perfect medium rare, an option that isnt available for the smaller burgers (medium and well done only). The burgers are tall and thick, with multiple toppings, which makes them a challenge to eat neatly. Fortunately, large, cloth napkins are provided. (One per person, not five, as the name indicates!) There were minor mistakes with side dishes and water glasses werent refilled until the end of our meal. Staff was pleasant and resolved the issue. We would go back again.

Seriously great happy hour, $10 Tito’s martinis. $8 wings and sliders.

I happened to be in NYC this weekend from Boston and found myself at your 5 Napkin Burger place on Broadway near 86? Street. The staff was very friendly. Jack was my wiatperson and made me feel welcome (I was alone). He made some suggestions and was attentive. The food was great 👍. The burger was so big that I was able to save half of it to have a good lunch on the train heading back to Boston. Would highly recommend your place.

Came to 5Napkin Burger today for the first time, had a patty melt and it was absolutely delicious I will definitely get it again. And I had a roasted pineapple margarita recommended by my Waitress Mel, she was not lying when she said it was really good she gave really great menu suggestions! will definitely be back again !

Burger is absolutely fantastic. Melts in your mouth good. However, you pay $21 for a burger and somehow it does not come with fries. How is that possible!Also taking my anger out through google reviews because the table next to us got a free chocolate cake and I would have really enjoyed one lol.

Best meal out we’ve had in awhile!! Incredible food and excellent service!! Definitely will be back.Started with the avocado tomato and feta salad. Delish and fresh.Each got Bacon Cheeseburger with side of fries. Regular and truffle fries.Burger was very juicy and tasty. You can tell the meat was good and fresh. Good size, not too big.Everything was perfect. The service was also great. First time in months we’ve had good service from the moment we walked into the door. Looking forward to returning and trying more items on the menu.

Had such a lovely time there. I went in to get some work done and the service was so friendly. Victor, my server, did such a great job. He struck the right balance between checking in on me and giving me space to work. Also, you can’t beat their happy hour. Those frozen Margs are strong! 10/10

The best word to describe the food at 5 Napkin is meh. Its not bad, though the coffee was extremely bitter, but it is just bland. I think this has to do with the general makeup of customers. The place seems to cater primarily to families with small children. I assume the inoffensive flavors are meant to satisfy the largest number of fussy children. Unfortunately, not being a child, I prefer food with flavor. I had the spinach and artichoke dip with stale chips and the five napkin salad which was drowning in Italian dressing. My girlfriend had the blueberry pancakes, which were tiny, and were served with toaster oven hash browns and rubbery turkey sausage patties. The service was excellent. Unless you are taking a picky child out for a meal, go elsewhere.

Having Jack as a server was such a great way to end my night. His service and smile made me feel so welcome, not to mention the food was great too. I don’t normally leave reviews but highly recommend 5 Napkin Burger! PS - ask for Jack!

Andres was a fantastic Server and strongly helped contribute to another great night at 5 Napkin Burger on the Upper West Side. He was attentive, friendly, helpful with our gluten intolerance, and generally very pleasant. He is a big reason why we will return to this great restaurant.

I love coming to this restaurant! Everything from the service- to the food is excellent! And it’s funny, every time we go, we end up sitting in the same booth. So we have a “special spot” at one of our favorite places.The food is soooo good! I can’t emphasize that enough. You will not be disappointed.

This is my favorite place to grab a frozen marg and hangout. Onion ring tower is delicious and Happy Hour deals are unbeatable. Our server Jack was so attentive and gave great suggestions! Everything was perfect from the food to the ambiance— and the service; exceptionally well done !

I have come here many times over the years and it is consistently good. And there is something for everyone, whether you want a veggie burger, a beef burger, a fish burger, some other type of burger, or even sushi or a tasty sandwich. Also, they have a nice happy hour deal, with cheap drinks and sliders if that’s your thing. The vegetarian options are decent, and the veggie burger is excellent as well as the sweet potato fries. For the burger aficionado (of whatever variety) this should be a go-to spot in the neighborhood. Also, the server was noticeably friendly.

Absolutely loved Mel! Amazing service. :) This place has great food and it’s beautifully setup for the holidays. Go try the pomegranate frozen margarita if you like tarte drinks :)

We had a delicious dinner including burgers and sweet potato fries. Burgers were juicy as promised and service as very attentive. A good stop for a lunch or weeknight, casual dinner.

Top 5 places to dine in definitely best services my partner and I been coming here for 4+ yrs and it never disappoints. The quality of the food it’s amazing and the drinks let’s not talk about it my girl Michelle it’s definitely your bartender to go fast and efficient always giving you her best advice on which Drinks to purchase always a pleasant time.

Of course the Cheeseburger is Excellent 🍔 🤤The server could have been more attentive, there were not many people in the restaurant. But in all fairness she was working with an injured hand.I was startled when I asked a young man if he was taking my order and he replied No This is not the way to greet a customer. Particularly, a New Customer.

My partner and I favorite spot to go too . Five Napkins 🙏🤍 on Broadway. The best of the best when it comes to food , service , and atmosphere . For sure within the present of the most fast efficient and organized worker Michelle . Her drinks are always the best ! Her attention to detail and respect towards her customers and work are unmatched. Seriously Thats not to say that the rest of the staff aren’t great .

We were booked in as a group and loved the food and efficient, friendly service. It’s loud and crowded but worth it! Their signature burger was so delicious I do recommend it. Everything our group ate from vegetarian burgers to salads were raved about.

Food was decadent and delicious. Burger was served medium rare and piled high with toppings; parmesan truffle fries were good (Standard fries with toppings)- nice pairing with the 2 for 1 mimosa. Overall very nice restaurant week experience, would recommend

I visited on 10/25/24 it was fairly busy. The atmosphere was very cold when the doors would open, the breeze that enters does not allow you to enjoy the food. The server was extremely slow bringing the drinks, some of my party received their food minutes after each other. Many items that were ordered were forgotten and had to wait a while. The turkey burger was very soggy. The French fries were disappointing as they were not crinkled cut as pictured in many reviews. They were. Small hand cut fries over cooked and greasy. The meal was not as enjoyable as I would like. (French fries not pictured as they came extremely late to the table)

It was so busy - all ages - families - old - young! It proves the food is outstanding! Thank you Andres for the excellent service.

Everything was good, but the cauliflower bites are so spicy. Also, hells kitchen chicken wings with Korean spice is tasty. Baja burrito is tasty. Try the 5n expressnitit; its a coffee martini with vanilla liquor, and its good.

Edit: Greg reached out to me and invited my brother and I to visit again. It was a wonderful experience, great improvement from the last. The shrimp tacos were of course great, my brother and I had some drinks (him with a Shirley and me with the 5N XSPREESSOTINI). The martini was delicious and I will definitely be back to try more drinks.Mianna (Mia) provided my brother and I with great service, she was attentive and friendly. Definitely a great waitress.Original: My brother and I had the crispy shrimp tacos and they were so good. Definitely a favorite. Service Definitely needs some improvement. My waitress wasnt the best but luckily the other servers were able to help me. Would Definitely come again though to try their drinks.

Hit on their Happy Hour 3-6pm and after 9pm so the menu is limited. The $4 Brooklyn Pilsner was perfect for a summer afternoon. The cheeseburger sliders were a bit on the too well done side. The spinach artichoke dip was just ok; the chips were not fresh (not stale, just not fresh). For value, I would return again but would try different items or try their lunch menu. Service was great. I work in the area and frequent in stopping by for a post-shift happy hour! The food is affordable, the drinks are tasty, and the staff is hospitable and friendly. What more could you ask for!

Completely tasteless food, poor service, over an hr wait for a burger. Veggie burger had no taste, place was dirty, extremely expensive for poor quality of food.I will never go back & McDonald’s is far superior to this poor quality, poor service burger place.Shame on them a big rip off!

I think I reviewed this before but our go to place on the UWS. We order all the time. Recommend the Asian Salad with Salmon or any of the burgers.

This might surprise you, but after trying pretty much all of their burgers, I got to the conclusion that (personally) the Italian Spiced Turkey Burger with Smoked Mozzarella Cheese, Balsamic Peppers, Arugula & Tomato Jam.. is the best of them all! give it a try, maybe with a side of charred broccoli with tahini sauce & sesame seeds. And a ice cold coke. Also, the staff was friendly, and the service very quick.

The food is consistently good. I ordered the Sweet potato fries and turkey burger. The staff is quick and very friendly. I was fascinated how many plates one server balanced at one time. This staff works hard. Customer service at its finest. Make a reservation if your wanting to dine between 5-8. Its location to the theatre district is ideal.

I was debating between the truffle burger and the chicken and pancakes, when my waiter recommended the latter and it was a very very sad dish, to say the least. You can even tell by the picture. The skin was soft and mealie, and lacked any sort of flavor. However, the kale salad was delicious and the service was great! I’m guessing the issue was likely with this one dish, I’ll come back and try their burgers.

Truly excellent food here. Service was adequate. Nice also that they have an accessible rest room, for those needing that.

The food was amazing but most importantly the service was everything I typically look for. Sabina was my server and she was very on point with every step of service. She paid attention to detail and made sure we had everything we needed before I even thought about things I needed to enjoy my food. Plus the food was amazing. I ate it too fast for picture.

We had a great experience at 5 Napkin Burger to celebrate one of our ordinary days! Our server Mel was so helpful to figure out how to make our day more special. Truffle burger was beyond delicious. I would defiantly come to try Sushi Bar menus as Mel recommended us. The atmosphere here makes you feel like you are in a movie set. Highly recommended!

Stopped in for a light bite and to get out of the sweltering heat. Second time as it has become our must-have when we visit NYC. Sat at the bar and did the lunch special “Pick 3”. One crispy rice cake, one taco and one roll. Did not disappoint! Had Truffle Avocado cake, Ahi Tuna Taco and Salmon/Avocado roll and a couple chilled glasses of Hess Chardonnay. Thoroughly enjoyed this meal. Servers were friendly, prompt and attentive. Place was clean and nice and cool. Highly recommend 5 Napkin Burger.

This is a pretty standard American place. Their food selection is fair, but their happy hour deals and creative cocktails are better. There is a relatively spacious dining room and it seemed family-friendly. No stairs, so this place seemed generally wheelchair accessible. Overall, will likely bring friends here for the happy hour again!

It was my first time in this restaurant and without a doubt it will be one of the many times I want to visit it. Of course I recommend it. My waiter Dre was super friendly and attentive. I loved the food and much more the service. I was able to speak with one of the restaurant managers. Alberto Álvarez is very lucky to have him because he even took the trouble to approach all the tables to ask us if everything was okay, super focused on his work, without a doubt one of the best restaurants I have visited.

So I walked into the bar alone at 9:28pm. I hurried to get there before 930 because I was afraid the kitchen would close on me but the bartender did that thing that bartenders do when they ignore you and walk past you a bunch of times without making eye contact. When he finally did I immediately asked if I could still order food, he very casually and without responding walked over and got me multiple menus. Upon returning to me I asked again so I can order food? He nodded and I ordered a 5 napkin burger medium well. I actually said well to him again as he was putting it in the machine right in front of me and asked me again seeming to have not payed any attention to me the first time. Look I get it, I used to serve and bartend, it was the end of his shift. Fyi here the burgers come with Nothing on the side so I had to order fries, crinkle fries as he said they didn’t have waffle fries which I had remembered. I was in a rush to catch a movie in 20 min so I didn’t want to stop progress. They were also out of half their draft beers, the one I would have ordered so I stuck it out with water. $25 burger and fries, flagship, ordered twice medium well came out bloody. I didn’t complain. I shoveled down half and got to my movie on time. I probably won’t be back.

I might just be cheap, but we each paid $20 for a burger and it didn’t come with fries. The burger was great, but not THAT good and I was too salty to get a side of fries. But I loved the veggie burger (pictured).

On a cold blustery Saturday an old friend and I randomly walked in without reservations or expectations. We were given the chance to wait at the bar for a table and the bar person offered water right away eventhough it was uncertain we could be seated. We were given a booth within 20 minutes and felt we were in the perfect place to catch up. The food was delicious too. I shall recommend to Upper West Side friends! Thank you for making us feel so welcome and taken care of!

I enjoyed the food alot as did my date, burger was to to perfection and my date love the shrimp tempura, the fries rivaled those of shake shack or any other place...will definitely be going back!! ❤❤❤

I’ve been going to this place since I was 16. I actually celebrated my 16th birthday here and it was as a blast. Fast forward went to college and I will eat here after class. This wings and Mac were my favorite. Still as an adult I come here especially for late happy hour. The staff is great, friendly, they greet me & smile as soon as they see me. I enjoy the food, atmosphere, music and drinks. It’s my go to spot ! Onion rings, wings, shrimp tacos & 5 napkin burger are my favs.

I always have a great meal at 5 Napkin. Whether its dine-in or delivery, the food is fresh and delicious. Service at the restaurant is friendly and attentive. Delivery is super quick and the food is still fresh. The breakfast burger, grilled chicken sandwich, onion rings, double tuna roll, and the Mac and cheese our some of my favorites.

The food was alright. Service was also alright. So, Ive returned to the same spot and I must say that this time Im going to change the 3 stars into 5 stars. The appetizers we had were extremely good. The watermelon drink was delicious.

Our server Charlie was funny and made amazing recommendations, he recommended the 5Napkin burger along with the bacon cheddar crinkle fries, delicious! Excellent beer recommendation too, and we finished off dinner with the boozy black and white milkshake! Charlies great, will definitely come back again

We went with our family after arriving in town to visit. Our son, daughter in law and 2 small grandchildren live on the UWS, and we eat at 5 Napkins every time we visit them. Our server, Mel, did an excellent job of taking great care of us, including getting the mac & cheese and broccoli out very quickly for a hungry 2 year old. I had the tuna burger for the first time and loved it! My wife had the 5 Napkin Burger with a fried egg - her favorite! Our kids got sushi and all shared some onion rings. All the food was delicious, and the little ones had a great experience. Highly recommended!

Is our third time in this place and we are have been good experiences with everything. We love the avocado ranch Burger and cookies and creme milkshake. Alberto recommended us the roasted pineapple Margarita and we love it. You need to try that.

High price point given that food takes awhile to come out, and was only slightly above room temp (including the Parmesan fries and miso soup). The salad with salmon was pretty good, but definitely not worth $38.

By far my favorite restaurant, every other week I go here with a coworker and catch up on life. The service is immaculate and the wait time is not that long. Indoor and outdoor seating and the service is just plain beautiful. Great place for a date night or family and friends.

What a terrific place to have a casual dinner! The service is amazing, very prompt, cheery & helpful. The Happy Hour specials are tasty and very reasonably priced. Was particularly happy they were able to accommodate gluten free options too.

Food was good but service was horrible. Waitress never checked on us. Never cleared our plates. She did not smile once, she was not friendly at all. She had a horrible attitude and made us feel like an inconvenience. She was rude to my father and was not accommodating. Did not refill our drinks since she never stopped by to check. Wouldn’t even look at our table when she walked by. Very disappointing as I have had past good experiences in this restaurant and the food is great.

Truly amazing experience!!! Highly recommend the truffle burger its the best in town!!! Korean bbq wings had the perfect amount of kick. Gorgeous restaurant in Upper East side neighborhood. During Sunday lunch hours, we were able to get a table without waiting. There are both indoor and outdoor seating, and a very beautiful large bar area.We got pancakes, wings and Patty melt. Pancakes were little dry, wouldn’t have nice if they were moist and softer. The wings were on the decent, would have liked that to me moist as well, but the salad and garlic parmesan sauce were good. The Patty melt was the best item. Really nice toast, with lots of paddy and cheese.We ordered the blueberry mint lemonade and strawberry milkshake as well. Both were excellent.Throughout the dining, we had a tough time finding our server, but thankfully other servers were around to help us.

The service was very good, the ambience was also nice, a little noisy. My burger was delicious, I could choose how the patty should be. As a vegetarian, my wife also found a delicious salad. Overall, one of the better burger restaurants in the mid-price segment.

This place was garbage. The burger was mediocre at best for quality of meat. And then they drowned it with cheese that was flavorless. And then smothered it and sweet Vidalia onions. And that was their signature burger. It just tasted like a sweet disgusting mess. The wings were rubbery and tasted like they came out of the microwave. And the fries were the same kind of fries that you get in a freezer bag from Costco. My partner and I ate there and all of that plus one other burger in a shake cost 90 bucks. The service was atrocious. There was nobody there and our server still couldnt keep up with the order that we did. Do not eat here

Amazing food while also having an excellent service! Started with a delicious and fresh Cheeseburger with side of fries the burger was very tasty and cook at the right temperature. Definitely will be back again.

Live on the UWS and haven’t visited 5 Napkin in quite some time. What a tragic error in judgement. Immediately greeted by a lovely bartender by the name of Victor. Very engaging, explained the menu and drink selection thoroughly. Very attentive. My wife adored him. Food was delicious. Drinks were even better and very tasty. Certainly helps to have someone so attentive and eagerly willing to help. Question is why did we wait so long to return. We recommend this lovely family restaurant to all on our beloved UWS. Certainly a hidden gem of a restaurant with good food, drinks served by lovely people. Thank you 5 Napkin. Happy Holidays. We’ll see you soon. 👍

We had a dinner (2 kids, 3 adults) last night and had takeout today! Both meals were great, burger was delicious and not too drippy, kids meals were perfect, drinks (including the mojito and watermelon marg) were great, service excellent, staff were friendly and helpful. We also sampled some of the sushi and salad fare- very nicely prepared and fresh. Definitely will return again.

I stopped by for a quick eat while i was waiting for some friends. The restaurant was clean and i enjoyed i the ambiance. I had an eel avocado roll it was divine but their burgers are great as well as i have had them before. A few notable workers were anthony, chris, and marlon. Also my sushi chef Aung professional and great personality. They made this experience a delight. Thank you five napkin!

Don’t waste your time. As much as I wanted to enjoy the food here I couldn’t. I was trying to feel the place out for myself instead of always depending on the reviews, but the food was just not good. First off, me and the group of people that I was with did not enjoy the food. Everyone was so disappointed. We made a reservation, and once we sat down it took a long time for them to acknowledge us. The place was NOT PACKED! We waited almost 30 minutes for a server to take our order, and then another 30 minutes to wait for our food. Before we ordered food, we got our drinks of course. The drinks were watered down, and disappointing. I ordered a cranberry iced tea, it tasted like regular iced tea. Another person that was with me ordered strawberry lemonade, they only got regular lemonade. It was bad. Food was not meeting the expectations. Everything made me so sad. Never again!

5 Napkin provides an amazing atmosphere. The close camaraderie between the staff is unheard of at most other establishments - led by Greg, Megi, and Alberto, the entire serving staff (with special shout out to Marlon, Luis, Victor, Michele and Brad) feels like a family - a family you’re welcomed into with open arms. 5 Napkin is not just a tasty drink and a hearty meal, it’s an Upper West Side staple, and more importantly, it’s a warm, friendly embrace you just don’t want to miss.

Really tasty spot!!! We enjoyed the burgers and the two for one Mimosas was a great deal. Mel was our server and was super attentive and friendly. Will be going back!!

I went to this place on December 31, 2022I arrive late kitchen was about to close in 20 minutes, I told my family we were going to get a bad serviced. This is what happened in typical restaurant especially when they were about to close the kitchen,while I judge the book by the covers, the staff were so accommodating, even though it was about to be New Year’s, and I was late, it was a party of five people three kids to adult,the adults already knew what they wanted but you know kids they change their mind so much. Once we got our order settled, we where late by like 10 minutes of kitchen time, they were kind enough still to make us food, the food was amazing,I repeat,amazing amazing. Kids order burgers and fries, all 3 different burgers where amazing, I order wing and fries and a salad, don’t recall the other order, wow thanks for being so generous and accommodating for me and my family, this will be a place I will recommend whit my hearts, staff where the best, before I forget it was my daughter’s birthday Also, they song happy birthday even though I was late I appreciate this so much.

The 84th street restaurant is the best! A wonderful experience- great atmosphere-the staff did an excellent job in welcoming us and serving our meal. Our dinner was perfect. We will be back next time we are in New York

Great spot to hit up for happy hour specials. This is where I go when Im in the mood for a mean burger~ the truffle burger is very yummy. I also enjoy their brussel sprouts (and I never usually order brussel sprouts anywhere else) Something about the way they make/season em is super tasty. My kid loves the kids burger meal. Good place to bring my out of town buddies too when looking for a casual but delicious bite.

We really liked this place, specially because we were able to eat with our dogs under the table. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. The food didnt take too long to be on the table. The only bad thing was that I ordered a cheeseburger that had egg and sausage (cant remember the name) but I got a regular cheeseburger and due to a problem we had at that moment, we didnt have the time to tell the waitress about the mistake. Besides that this I really recommend this place.

The food at 5 Napkin Burger is consistently good! The burger I ordered was still hot and cooked to perfection! The onion rings were crisp and delicious. My food was delivered earlier than the time estimated. Eat in or delivery, I have the same great experience.

Jack was super patient and let us know if all the changes on the menu, allowing us to make informed decisions. Everything was delicious. Great overall!

I’ve passed this restaurant multiple times and never dined in. One special day my wife and I decided to experience the vibes.I must say the truffle burger and Mac & cheese were really really good. Drinks made to order were quality prepared.Staff was very attentive and professional. I felt seen and well taken care of. Worst burger ever! I googled best burgers in NYC and this place popped up. After looking through some of the reviews, my family and I agreed to have lunch here on Father’s Day. I ordered the Napkin Burger (signature burger) and it was awful! So awful that I had to ask for the menu once again after one bite of my burger to ensure I received the correct burger. It was literally a flavorless wet soggy burger and the only flavor it had was of soggy boiled onions and not caramelized onion, literally boiled onions. I’ve had better burgers at school cafeterias as a kid. Never again!

First night in NYC and we stopped here first! It was amazing. My best friend and I both had the truffle burger and my fiance had the bacon cheddar burger, we split an order of fries and the burgers were phenomenal! Thank you for the perfect start to my Bucket list dream trip! ❤️

For a quick bite to eat...okay. But no conversation possible...loud music hammering on your heads. When placing our orders the waitress said she could not hear me.....well, the problem is very obvious.....much too loud music. So not the place you want to go for a cosy meal and good conversation...just for a quick bite.

Came here with my girlfriend and her kids and had a good experience. The service was attentive and quick and we all enjoyed our food. I had the 5 napkin burger, my girlfriend the lobster sliders and the kids had bacon cheeseburgers. The sliders came with homemade potato chips which were tasty and the crinkle cut fries were quite good. The one low point was the sweet potato fries - we all felt they could have been crispier. The place is pricey - be prepared to pay a premium but it is a nicely made burger!
