Great atmosphere for a drink and bar food. Great happy hour specials and craft beer options. The service was nice and friendly very attentive. The brunch is a great deal with bottomless mimosas. There are some good options.

Great place in the Heights, owned by the same team as Bar 180, which is a favourite of mine. (I must assume). Quality food at decent prices, good service, great decor. The servers could be a little more responsive and Im not a fan of the club type vibe after 8pm, but definitely a solid Heights bar/restaurant like Bar 180. Great for young 20-30s yo ppl who like craft beers and well crafted menus. House wheat beer is fantastic!

Came here for a fundraising event. Excellent beer and wine selection. At this time, Bar 177 does not hold a liquor license but I managed. The apps were good and the happy hour prices were very reasonable. Check it out if you are in the area.

Stopped in mid-afternoon, hoping for just a quick sandwich & beer. Took five minutes for anyone to acknowledge me (and they were not busy -- literally one other party.) When I ordered, they were out of the first few things I tried, and the flatbread sandwich I ended up with was bland & sad. Finally, it literally took 25 minutes to get my bill (again, place was basically empty.) I sympathize with the bartender who was clearly not trained in the computer system, and in general Im pretty easy to please, but this was just a poor experience.

The place is cozy and the beer selection is a plus, BUT, the first time I went there (3 month ago) I ordered a burger and after 20 minutes they told me they didn’t have the meat for the burger, So I just went today, few minutes ago, to give them a second chance, and this time the waitress (a teenager girl) took wrong my order and she blame me for that ( I felt ofended), because she said I wasn’t specific, (if she doesn’t ask any question I will asume that she knows what I was ordering) so PLEASE at least make sure to prepare your staff before to offer their service to customers and teach them how to be humble and kind because I wasn’t rude at all.Teach the staff how to treat the people who comes to your restaurant to leave their money, money that keeps your business and your staff jobs.

Both this place and their sister restaurant, Bar 180 could be great but they blast their music and they overprice their beer. Can’t carry on a conversation and your ears are ringing by the time you leave. Otherwise a great craft beer selection but can’t stand the atmosphere

I ordered buffalo chicken wings. When they came out I asked the waitress:“Do you serve your buffalo wings with blue cheese or ranch?”Her answer:“Well, if it’s not one, it’s the other.” 😂Very helpful.

The place is cozy but the service is slow and quite often there is a mistake taking your order. A couple of times I was charged twice for something I never received. They are often out of some ingredient so they cant make a dish as it is described in the menu.

Excellent beer. Super friendly staff. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended. My favorite local bar.

Appetizer sampler is amazing!!! Yucca fries are to die for!!!! Service is amazing. Sangria mix is good.

I work in New York but live in New Jersey and this spot is convenient for a quick bite to eat and drink just before I head home. It is located minutes away from the GWB bus station. The staff is friendly and attentive, the music is great and the food is delicious-good menu options! If you are looking for an afterwork spot, this is it! Just keep in mind that they only serve beer and wine.

Appitisers and entrees are amazing, the beer and wine choice is astounding. The company and staff are friendly and talkative. Wouldnt want to stay any other place 10/10 5/5 2/2. Whatever your rating method may be you are ACTIVELY hindering yourself by not visiting this bar. I recommend it any day of the week. Also the cook is top notch.

Food was good and beer selection too.. but the last few times I was there the music was far too loud for so few people and such a small space. Also avoid on Karaoke nights!!! Sounds fun but the music is awful, and again sound is jacked up to an uncomfortably loud level it actually makes my ears hurt. Also when I sat down with my friend we were completely ignored for a good 10 minutes before we gave up and left despite making eye contact with both bartender and server.

Very awesome and lowkey spot. The staff is amazing the people are all chilled. Mondays are video game night and Thursdays are Karaoke night you will have a blast for sure!!

The staff is very very sweet and it’s good I guess to go and drink and party. It’s VERY loud. Like club level. The food was weird, got a margarita flatbread and it was literally a tomato and cheese sprinkled on bread.
