The bar downstairs was fine but I would not recommend the paint and sip experience upstairs. It’s not clear how much they are associated with one another but the $44 paint and sip doesn’t include drinks, and they give you preschool craft supplies to paint freely. It’s not instructor led like all other paint and sip experiences. I could’ve achieved the same outcome if I spent $15 at dollar tree and painted in my living room.

Nice spot and very good drinks i love Daira -shes amazing! One of the main reasons we come. Ask for her-you wont be disappointed.

Fun spot by the World Trade Center. Good drinks and even better service. Try to go on Thurs & Fri, the beautiful bartender Daira is there and she will definitely take good care of you. There is no kitchen here but you could bring your own food from outside.

Great bar in a great location along with a great staff.It is a hidden gem and think everyone should visit it when they are in the lower Manhattan area.

Walk in here becouse it was cold and in need of a drink. The lady there was great with her customer care skills. The drink were good. Not water down like I have taste in many other bar. It was 5 so there was after work crowed. And what a great bunch of people. We dance, but is not a dance place, we laugh and we had an amazing time. Then around 7 everyone went home and the place looked empty. The places closes at 10 and then the upstairs place opens. It is one a block away from the world traded MEMORIAL. It is located write out side the 1 train on Rector St. The bar had a big selection. A person that a kawasaki and said it was one of the best he had had. It was 15$ per drink we had a few. There is Marriot basically next to it. Now ,this place is not fancy but is it can be very intimate if you want to go for a quiet drink just has to know what time to go.

It was kool. I really enjoy DJ Supa Dave. I partied hard. Bartenders and Security was 👍

If you are white you may want to reconsider walking into this place. Last Friday (8/25/23) we walked in to have a few drinks on our last night visiting New York. As soon as we walked in my wife heard a lady sitting against the wall say, check whitey. The DJ, bartender and a man sitting at the bar laughed. I had ordered our beers before my wife told me or we would have walked out right then. We drank our beers quickly and left. We did however spend $185 a few blocks away and bought drinks for a few locals. We were in New York for several days and this was the only problem we encountered. Very racist. I do notice there are some pictures with white people in the bar. Maybe it was just a bad night.

No food here, cozy, straight length bar along the wall with seating and some seating along other wall. Not to fancy and not to busy. Good for a group especially to go and you can actually hear your self talk.

Def DO NOT RECOMMEND this bar at all. Went in there with co workers and ordered three shots. The bartender pour two full shots and half one of the shots. When we informed the bartender that she had not fill the shot completely, the bartender immediately said she did and we were messing with her and had spilt the shot. Bartender proceeded to smell the table and it did not smell like Henny, then the same bartender said we drank when we hadn’t touch the shot. Bartender never refilled the shot but I did noticed that on my bank statement after I had not left a tip the bartender decided to add a 20 dollar tip to my bill! Def very unprofessional staff. Would plead you to stay away from the bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m currently in NYC with work and had tried a few local bars in the area I’m staying in, hoping to find a regular place to unwind after a days work. I’m very fortunate to have found this gem so early on in my stay. Great atmosphere and the bar staff are super friendly and clearly love their jobs. Would thoroughly recommend.

In 2016 took my b.f. there & the service was good. Atmosphere seemed nice/welcoming and so did the people. I had a yummy steak, a (cool) real drink & some nachos. Although cozy, there was more privacy while eating than I expected which was great. All that, plus other reasons, like remembering how other places were compared to Cats in comparison led me this rating.

If I could this place 0 stars I would. I went here on a Friday with my coworkers to celebrate a birthday. The drinks were poorly made, the staff were un professional and to make matters worse over charged my card. My first drink total came to $10, The waitress asked if I would be keeping the tab open and I clearly told her NO. She went on to open a tab anyway against my wishes and immediately I saw a charge for $20. I went to the owner and informed him of the error to which he replied she was new and he would fix it.Against my better judgement I trusted what he said and ordered a round of drinks totalling $30 dollars. The drinks were mispoured and the alcohol was substandard similar to booze cruise alcohol. I went on with the rest of the evening and the owner attempted to fix the mispour issue.I later checked my account and could not believe what I saw after the pending charges cleared, I received two seperate charges for $20 and $35. $15 additional added to my card. This establishment operates under fraudulent methods, please do not use your cards here. Furthermore there are more reputable places in the area with better service and quality of alchohol. Shame on the owner and staff for blatantly stealing from your customers. I will be disputing the charges and will take mu business elsewhere.
