It was a delightful experience upon entry. Pleasant energy from staff and great natural lighting! The burrito bowl was the best I’ve ever had, and I LOVE burrito bowls so I’ve had many different experiences from a variety of places. I could taste the freshness of the ingredients. I enjoyed every bit of it! Additionally, I had a classic margarita, well rounded in flavor and it was happy hour! If you’re considering this place, JUST DO IT! 😝
Changed hands recently and has really gone downhill. This used to be one of my favorite Mexican spots in the neighborhood but the food is terrible now. I had the queso which uses a different cheese now and the lower quality is obvious. I also had the Guadalajara chicken which tasted like a cardboard box. 0/5.
Had a pretty awesome time here, the decor and the ambience was awesome. Sun lights with Mexican and Christmas decor, the music was a little loud so when it started getting busy it was hard to hear my friend speak. I would say avoid the queso dip, it’s really thick and I think just velvetta cheese, but the burrito was amazing, super tasty and the salsa was really good as well. I got the drink “it’s a par-tea” and it was really good and tasted good too. The burrito and the enchilada was awesome too. Def recommend trying this place, it’s one of the most affordable eateries in Manhattan.
Went there for lunch. Its a nice medium-sized Mex-American restaurant. I ordered the chicken flautas, chicken enchiladas, and the birria tacos. And a lime Margarita. The chicken flautas are my favorite, tinga chicken with melted cheese. Never tried them like that. Keeps the taco roll together, topped with iceberg lettuce and tomato salsa and guacamole. Its a great appetizer and / or entrée. The birria tacos with Consome has a more mild spicy taste than the usual spicy. Im really used to good spicy mexican food. Good beef flavor. If you want some spice, ask for the condiments on the side. Lastly, the chicken enchiladas. Its always my go-to to try at every Mexican restaurant. It also has a very mild spice taste to it. Its good filling and nice melted cheese on top. I finished everything up with a nice Lime Margarita, so good. Love the atmosphere, nice and chill. Good music selection. Jack helped me out with my order. He made me feel very welcome and made great suggestions. He was very detailed and knowledgeable. I will definitely come back and try out the rest of the menu.
Love the music and the open air. Seating at the front is ideal, especially for open air. The margarita and the red sangria are ok, 3/5. Margarita could use a bit more agave to balance out the lime juice, but pretty good. Guacamole is very good, but chips are a bit stale. Excellent quantity of chips/guac. Tacos - fried chicken has too much dill, but otherwise good. The taco al pastor is delicious. Portion sizes are moderate. Service is very good. Want to try more items on the menu. Slightly expensive for food/drink quality, but great option for Mexican. Will defintiely be back for happy hour. Mon-Fri from 3-7. $6 margarita, beer, wine, and sangria. $8 food options.
We loved Conmigo! They have an adorable space, fun staff, and great food (great drinks too). We went on a Friday evening and the place was bustling. It felt like we were on vacation! They have “Impossible” meat tacos which are great for vegetarians (also meat eaters) and fun drinks. Choose from a fancy cocktail or get a pitcher to share of the margaritas. We also loved the queso fundido.
Come here to enjoy some Mexican classics. From nachos to the dessert its all here. Vegetarians can substitute meat for beyond meat. The large tasty portions and lively atmosphere will get you into the right mindset for a great Mexican experience. The prices are reasonable and will unfortunately send you back to the upper east side. Seating is available indoor and outdoor at this time. We didnt get a chance to try the frozen margarita but thats just a good excuse to return...
When we came in they were closing up the kitchen much earlier than listed hours but our server gave us 5 minutes to order which was a nice move on his part.Food was really great and serving size was okay. They should make the guac to-order but it’s still decent in the large batches they do. While it’s nothing special I’d come back again if I’m ever in the area and want to visit a Mexican restaurant
First time coming here for a team outing. Loved the vibe and music. The chips and dips were very good. The tacos blew me away they had so much flavor and left me wanting more. Highly recommend the short rib taco. That was my favorite!
I had three tacos, beer battered fish, blackened fish and carnitas. All were really good, but the carnitas were over cooked. Overall I really enjoyed the experience and the service was great. All tacos are $5.
I love the impossible tacos at Conmigo. They are the best Ive had in the city. Im a vegetarian so its hard for me to find good impossible meat related items on a menu. But Conmigo really outdid themselves. They impossible meat tacos are DELICIOUS!!I went back twice in 5 days to get tacos and the Dip Trio, which comes with salsa, queso and guacamole. Its be best trio dip ever! I layer all three dips onto the tortilla chips and its like a party in my mouth! The restaurant is really nice and they have cute outdoor seating currently as well. Definitely go if you want great Mexican food!IG-@traveleen_gurl
My wife and I are definitely Conmigo fans. We started coming here a few years back during the summer of 2020, when NYC began allowing for outdoor dining and we had just moved across the street on 1st Avenue. Ever since, we’ve stopped in for margaritas, chips & salsa, tacos, and enchiladas. We love the combination of atmosphere, music, and food. For sure the enchiladas and the short rib tacos are our favorite food items on the menu. And their house salsa is easily my favorite salsa across the entire UES.
Delicious food, and great Margaritas. My son was running late, but the Waiter made sure I felt comfortable. I will be back and I will recommend your establishment.
My absolute favorite tacos on the Upper East Side. Shrimp, fish, pork, chicken, all fantastic. Great Taco Tuesday deal for pickup as well, 50% off! Highly recommend!!
Honestly, nothing special. The food wasnt great. The only thing I would go there for is the margaritas. Service means me looking for their attention to order. I ordered chicken nachos, and I didnt even finish them, so why order anything else....
First time here and the food and margs were delish! Guac was fantastic but the star of the show was the tortilla soup which had the perfect balance of everything. Shoutout Mariana for attentive service as well.
The restaurant was very cute but the food was over priced and not so delicious. Didn’t feel like it was fresh. If you want to enjoy the vibes, this is it. If you want to enjoy the food, don’t go here!
My favorite Mexican spot in UES. The service is always great, drinks are always delicious and the tacos are superb. LOVE.
Been here for dinner and a staff party! Super cute place and food/drinks are amazing! The servers are so sweet…shout out to Mariana!!!
Amazing service! The food was fast and very tasty. Drinks are the best in the neighborhood. I would definitely return.
Its such a nice place to drink margaritas and eat some tacos 🌮. They have a happy hour Monday through Thursday. I dont remember what time it starts until 6 p.m. But you have 1 hour of margaritas (I could only have 3) and 3 tacos. The atmosphere is very good and the decoration is very cool.
Just came across my very first and only review on yelp that reminded me of this place. The place looked nice and cozy but not the food. We ordered grilled chicken and steak&chorizo. The chicken and chorizo were ok but the steak was barely eatable. In the past if we don’t like the food or the place we just simply don’t go back again without complaining or writing a bad review but this time it was different. It was so bad that we had to talk to the staff about it and they didn’t do anything but saying sorry. We left after paying the full bill & tips. Definitely won’t go back for sure.
Staff was great, music was great, food was above average but the margaritas tasted kinda funny. Ill still go back again just to see if i had a bad batch.
I went here for the first time today, and the food and service were so good I had to leave a review. The tacos and margaritas were some of the best I’ve had, with reasonable prices for NYC. I came with a group of 7 for a birthday/baby sprinkle celebration. We had a big table in the back where they let us set up and decorate. We stayed for hours and never felt rushed. The entire staff couldn’t have been nicer. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.
Great tacos and margaritas! They have pitchers here for margaritas. Highly recommend the spicy shrimp tacos and the beef short rib. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
Conmigo is fantastic any day of the week! With a great UES location, perfect ambiance, massive always evolving menu, and really great service, this place is securely on my list of go to NYC spots. The staff are really nice and if you’re lucky enough to meet Jack you’ll see how much care and effort are put into every single sip and bite at this establishment. Some highlights of this visit were the Snake Bite cocktail, the massive taco flight, and all 3 salads. DO NOT sleep on the salads. Easily some of the best I’ve had in NYC ever. I can’t wait for my next visit!
Awesome food, very friendly staff and also loved the ambience. Only issue - their vegetarian menu is limited, and majority of the vegetarian options are actually impossible meat versions.
Im not a big fan of tacos. I think they are a little big, and the taste is so so. But the atmosphere is great for dinner with friends.
Everything about this establishment was excellent. Leonard and the rest of the guys make you feel right at home. Cozy but neat. Feasible price and worth the visit
Not fantastic- nothing tasted fresh. To be very honest it seemed like the nachos had velveeta cheese. The rice and beans had no flavor, very bland. Was expecting better quality for the price.Great margaritas though.
As a Mexican, I found the food here is lacking in flavor (i.e. there are definitely more authentic and flavorful Mexican restaurants nearby). Our server in particular took a very long time to come by or in cases ignored our motions to come to the table, so our stay took longer than we anticipated. If youre Mexican and expecting flavorful food, I recommend going elsewhere.
Just don’t order takeout from here, only dine in. Dined in once and had a great experience, ordered takeout and they literally didn’t even start making my order until I walked in (which was 10 mins after my estimated pickup time so my order was a total of 25 mins late) they also completely skimp on the guac, pico, sour cream sides for takeout compared to what you get in person
Update 3/29/2024- restaurant replied and asked that I email them. I’m still waiting on a response. Email was sent last week. The customer service here is truly the worst. Do better.Came in for happy hour (March 14,2024) and was excited because I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. The food was okay, chicken tacos were tasty. It could have gone without the guac. Barbacoa tacos are delicious. But unfortunately, our visit wasn’t so pleasant. We sat at the bar and the bartender never gave us water, but she did everyone else. Our drinks took forever, and it wasn’t so busy. Our bartender, Evelyn, also failed to mention what the happy hour specials were. We ordered thinking that whatever was on the cocktail menu was included. Apparently not. We were also charged regular prices and not happy hour prices. That should have been the first thing she did when we sat down. I’ve worked in the industry a looooong time and that’s usually how it works. Was really hoping to like this place but the experience was meh. She did give us shots to make up for it while I was writing this review, which was nice, but it was too little too late.
I wish I could give ZERO stars!!! I ordered from this place TONIGHT because I was doing laundry in the area. I did an online order, the order was indeed accepted, they took MY MONEY, all for me to get there, and be told the kitchen “was closed”. Now if y’all were going to close early, why would you still be accepting online orders????? I ordered a lot of food too mind you. Then the STUPID hostess that was there had the actual AUDACITY to give me an attitude because of their stupidity. Where they do that at??? Instead of being apologetic about the situation. She then proceeded to tell me to cancel my order. I looked at her like she was stupid because how am I canceling an order that was already accepted/ my money was taken? Like again the pure stupidity. No apology or nothing was offered. If y’all wanna close early COOL, but turn off the online ordering so that people don’t waste their time and money here. A delivery driver was also there to pick up someone’s food too, so imagine how they felt too, wasting their time. I will NOT patronize this establishment ever again. So beware of them doing this if you want to order.
Delicious food! And great service! The corn tortillas are so fresh. I’m in love!
Food is ok. Not authentic Mexican but it’s pretty good for what it is.
After 26 years of living in Yorkville, Conmigo feels like it is here to rescue me. We had an experience with the staff that you typically only see at highest-end restaurants: a beautiful walkthrough of menu ideas, helpful context, and even swapping out a drink that didnt hit the spot for a better one. The food was excellent and its so great to see life and authenticity on this block.
So they brought back Taco Tuesday, but their tacos are essentially $8 each. What a freakin joke. Any taco truck in the neighborhood is definitely better than these, I assure you. And far cheaper, as well. no wonder this place is never busy anymore.
Really great happy hour and lunch special deal!
Great spicy pineapple margaritas! Staff was on it all night. Two thumbs up:)))
Lovely spot to grab some tacos or even a drink. Definitely not the type of place you will go if you are looking for a calm or quiet place. Grabbed dinner on a Friday night and didn’t need reservation, which it was incredible.Ordered guacamole with chips $15 as an appetizer and then 2 carnitas, 1 chicken and 1 spicy shrimp tacos. $5 each taco which it should be priced at $3 because the size is too small. Either way, it was delicious. I highly recommend the carnitas one, is super super soft and great taste. Service was friendly and quick. Food came right away. Our bill was something around $36 without tip so I think that the price for 2 was actually really good! I did not get a drink but they looked really good and many tables where ordering. I guess I’ll have to come back soon!
Great local Mexican place with friendly service and very tasty and innovative food and beverage options with reasonable prices. Bartender Owen always takes care of you! Awesome French toast at brunch.
Worst tortilla soup I have ever had - almost no flavor (except for cream) at all :/
Okay, those tacos were DELICIOUS. Also if you can split the taco flight with someone, be prepared to experience all the tastes and sensations in one sitting.Seriously, a really nice time. Great ambiance, great service (thank you Mariana), and great food. Check it out!
My fav place in the neighborhood. Love to come here for lunch / brunch / happy hour. The margaritas are perfect and the food is superb. Had the burger for the first time today and the Pina colada- both were heavenly🩷
My favorite Mexican restaurant. Not only its delicious at baseline, but its also diet conscious. They have delicious vegan and vegetarian alternatives for your dish. They have great brunch promos, and the people working there are so warm and fun. If you are looking for quality Mexican food in the UES, this is the place you want.
I didn’t want to leave this review but unfortunately I have to. First of all I’ve been to Conmigo different times and the vibes were amazing! But now I’m sadly to say it just not as good as it used to, food I can’t complain it’s always on top! My drinks were not the ones that I ordered and the server (short lady w/curly hair) was being rude and saying it was my fault.Instead of just accepting the mistake she kept telling me and my friend that we ordered wrong, like really?? And also I don’t know why she has to be like that with every table she’s serving, no one seem happy with her. I never received and apology or so, but I did receive mean faces and she was just rolling eyes every time we called her. Worst server I’ve ever had!!
The drinks and ambiance of this place were good! However our meals weren’t that great. I got the pulled pork tacos and it was almost all fat :( didn’t eat the other one
Had the birria quesadilla, which was super delicious. I loved getting to sit right in front of the open window and watch people pass by.
Such a neighborhood favorite! Their 32 oz Margarita pitchers do not disappoint. The tacos are fairly priced and out of this world. The staff was so attentive and friendly! Of all the numerous Mexican restaurants in the Upper East side, this definitely stands out from the pack!
Best Mexican I’ve had in long time!!! Amazing food and drinks. Great, kind service too
Thiqqq tacos haha, food was good. And the drinks we tried were good too.
Tried this place out for the first time and was really impressed, loved the food and love the fact they still are making fresh handmade corn tortillas, always adds an authentic flavor to Mexican food when you get a fresh corn tortilla. The tacos were delicious and the salad was great. Service was good. I wasn’t a fan of the margaritas, they were just alright nothing special, a bit too acidic and very lemonade juice flavor, but for the price of the pitcher it’s worth it.They’ve also joined the many restaurants who are now offering touch free menus which is appreciated.
Cute little spot with good music. The cheese empanada with mint was actually really good! the tacos are smaller in size but if you get the right one you’ll be satisfied. The chicken one was decent but the pork one i got melted in my mouth it was soooo good. Classic Margarita was perfect. Our service was so sweet and nice I forgot her name! but she also gave us free shots which we appreciate. I definitely recommend if you haven’t tried them out.
A solid 4 stars! The cocktails are where this place shines (get the margarita with jalapeño and cucumber). Nothing you’ve never had before but very well crafted and simply delicious and refreshing. The food is again very solid but the tacos don’t match up to Los Tacos No. 1 for reference. Maybe could use a little more experimentation to nail the taste. Overall a good vibe and totally worth it!
I love, I love!I had truly no-low expectations exceeded^2 🤌🏽 the drinks are THEE ABSOLUTE BEST (the Pom Pom grapefruit drink was particularly great) and the Impossible taco is just phenomenal; it is better than any of the others imo. Obviously the two sauces on the table are great as well so the service is the last thing to mention. So great! Wonderful timing, friendly, accommodating, they deserve more stars ❤️🔥
Not exactly familiar with upper east side food scene but extremely happy with this awesome Mexican spot!!! Ambiance is on point, drinks are amazing and food so tasty and deliciousTacos are meaty and flavorful. My friend went from the ribs and let me said just pull out off the bone, absolutely mouthwateringDefinitely coming back soon 😋
Drinks and food are fantastic. And service is wonderful.
The staff are great! However the food was okay at best and the ambience was not great. It can be pretty loud music which is run from opening till closing. Wish the music could toned down during the day and louder later. There is a lot of sitting inside and outside. The menu is slightly limited but the portions are fair compared to other restaurants. Overall not the best of experiences. Can’t say anything stood out to make the location unique.
Service was excellent ! Shout our to all the guys working there excellent job.The drinks were great , i had a spicy frozen paloma. Really really good .The food was sort of a mixed bag. The hot sauces were not spicy at all, the guac didnt taste fresh - like it was probably made a day or two before or had some sort of preservatives, the tacos ( spicy shrimp and battered fish) were swimming in sauce that was all sort of flavorless. That being said, highly recommend the queso fundido!
Food was delicious and staff & service were great!!
I went to this restaurant during happy hour on a Tuesday. First of all, I love the ambience of this place. The interior is so relaxing. That combined with the delicious food and drinks and great service gave me happy vacation vibes.😊 The drinks are amazing. They have so many flavors of margaritas to choose from. I ordered the mango margarita and the Shake Your Pom-Pom, which tasted just like roses. I highly recommend the 3-dip appetizer as the dips are all amazing and fresh and make the perfect choice to eat alongside your drinks during happy hour. I also loved the street corn and churros. The fish tacos werent my favorite, but they have an impossible vegan taco that was pretty good! Everything tasted fresh flavorful. I cant wait to go back again!
Terrible experience involving drinks and the bill. Asked about a margarita pitcher, was told it would be about 4-5 drinks. Barely made 3 drinks while literally holding the pitcher upside down to get every last drop. A pitcher was $20 more than just 3 margs (if we ordered a regular marg it would have been filled while ours were like 5 sips.) When we asked if it was possible to just pay for 3 margaritas instead, we were met with a very upset manager who said “best I can do is charge you for 4.” OK SIR WE LITERALLY ONLY HAD 3 DRINKS, SO NO. Make it make sense. He said his server should not have told us 4-5 drinks and the server was wrong. Not a fan of managers throwing their staff under the bus. On top of that food was meh. Carnitas rice bowl was full of fatty inedible pieces. There are so many great Mexican restaurants in NYC. This is not one to return to.
Terrific new Mexican restaurant on upper east side. Great ambience. Guacamole was delicious, flavorful, zesty and rich. Sangria was sublime. Enchiladas, bursting with flavor, very tasty. Finished off with some creamy, sweet flan. Top notch service from our waiter Darwin. We will definitely be back soon to Conmigo, an excellent new addition to the neighborhood.
Margaritas are FRESH, no syrup mixes. Great happy hour, $29 for 1 hour unlimited margs/wine or beer and 3 tacos of your choice! You can get 3 different types of tacos too- all were so delicious. The food is simple but not lacking any flavor!!! Bartender is the best:)The spicy marg is a fav!
The place is really cute, the cocktails look very nice, and the music is really good! The two stars are for the people who work there. They always seem agitated and like it’s a hassle for them to be there helping you. Also, no happy hour which is a bummer bc each drink is around $16
If you want amazing smoky drinks I recommend this place. Not for dinner though, get the tacos and (only if youre vegan) the brussel sprouts: tacos, only order the short rib AMAZING and I recommend chicken if you like sweet meat. THE SERVICE AND BARTENDER OUTSTANDING.
YUM!!!! Great cocktails [get the green tomato mezcal] and DELICIOUS tacos. I took a bite of the carnitas and thought “wow I made a mistake, I should have gotten all three tacos as carnitas instead of two barbacoa” then I took a bite of the barbacoa and thought “never mind this one is even better.” Moral of the story- You can’t go wrong with anything here!!! Great for a date night or night out with friends.
Had a great dinner and drinks here the other night! Menu was slightly different than what was online, but it worked out in my favor with the delicious buffalo cauliflower tacos. My cocktail was also very tasty, with a nice, sugar-coated rim (Pedro Is In Rio). Can’t wait to come back, as this is right around the block.
Five stars. Hands down. Everything is on point, their food, drinks, but most of all their customer service is amazing. I’m from Chicago and getting decent tacos out east is a difficult feat. This place really won everything. They made a minor mishap due to my lack of communication but fixed it without skipping a beat.
Amazing service, food and drinks. Owen (the bartender) was the best! Highly recommend hitting this spot.
Absolutely delicious. I love when chicken tacos are pulled instead of diced, which these are. Utterly scrumptious, truly!
Realised my pork tacos were raw after eating 1.5 of them - it put me off my lunch. My wifes meal was good though and staff were nice and accommodating about the mistake. Would probably go back but wouldnt order the meat 😂 (raw meat pic attached - kinda looks like raw chicken. Maybe it was? 🤷)
First time in NY & found this place thru maps… they didn’t disappoint! Ask for Jonathan, he was great! Very attentive & made sure we had a good time. I had my tacos plain & loved them. If you don’t like tacos get a drink & there’s a pizza place next door lol!
Came here looking for delicious local huevos rancheros.... Unfortunately the brunch left me underwhelmed. The food is pricey, the portions are medium in size... and for the price, the flavor and artistry was lacking. It was a simple preparation. I felt that I could have made what was served... I also feel there are too many high-top tables, which makes for an uncomfortable meal. There are many better brunch options in the area.
Came here yesterday after reading good reviews about this place and can honestly say that they make some of the best cocktails in the area… It’s not very often that you find a place that offers happy hour drinks and make you want to go back the next day and pay full price because they were just that good… The atmosphere and ambience of this place is also a plus and the bartenders and servers go above and beyond. If you get here for happy hour they also offer half-price appetizers so you can’t really go wrong
Mariana was so nice, the tacos were amazing - I recommend the beer batter fish
Pro: the food and drink tasted decent.Con: extremely slow service. Our table was forgotten about multiple times. At the end we were given churros on the house without asking for them, and then we were charged for them. I also got food poisoning after. Can’t prove for sure it came from here, but the timing sure is susp. I won’t come back.
This place was so amazing! The staff was so friendly and helpful, everything came quickly, and the atmosphere was unbeatable. The yucca croquettes were outstanding. Thank you guys!
Conmigo is my favorite Mexican restaurant on the Upper East Side. The food has always been top notch and the service excellent!
So yummy. Great specials. 3 tacos.X 1 hour margarita, Monday through Thursday 3 to 6
The food was not good at all. The guacamole was sub par at best. Fish taco nothing great. The service it seemed they could care less if you were there Also the margarita nothing great . It is not a place I would recommend for over priced food and drinks. There is better options in the neighborhood
The food was delicious.. the environment was cool they play nice music, the drinks were excellent and the service was great Carlos was so nice 😊 😊😊
Delicious food and a great, fresh atmosphere. If you can, go on a pleasant morning for brunch and sit in the windows, which are perfect for people watching. The menu is solid Mexican brunch fare, nothing too creative.
Overpriced Elote salad...with mostly romaine...and a couple of cherry tomatoes and corn thats straight from a can !No flavor. No avocado that was supposed to be in the salad. And the protein I selected was Chicken.Uncooked...and raw pieces. All for $16 +6 = $ 22 !Outrageous for the food that I recieved.
Always have an amazing experience here - delicious drinks, great food, and wonderful service
Service and food was amazing both times we went. For the second visit we noticed the bill didnt match what they charged the card. We enjoyed the experience so much it wasnt worth pointing out the $8 addition to the original bill. If they had made a mistake it would have been one thing but when returning the card with the copy to sign we didnt receive the itemized bill back.
Just very uninspiring. Ordered their taco Tuesday promotion (online order only) and the tortillas were terrible, the tacos were bland.Maybe their entrees are better.
The drinks and food were good. Our server was extremely patient and nice. I would come again for drinks with friends. I recommend the shrimp tacos.
My trusty mexican spot! the food is great (try the nachos!) and the sangria is my fave. been here a few times and it’s always delicious
Love this place! Came back here with a friend a few days ago for lunch - and went with the spicy shrimp tacos along with a chips and salsa to split. I always really love their salsa - it has the right amount of sweetness mixed in with spice and the spicy shrimp tacos are always really well done - that aioli is great! Service was quick and efficient and I love their outdoor seating setup. It was not busy at all for a random weekday at lunchtime but definitely gets more packed for dinner time so Id give yourself some wait-time if youre planning an evening event. Will definitely come back!
Chilaquiles were tasty, the salsa verde very good. And a very good Michelada!
Tasty margaritas but when I got my nachos home I was horrified to see they were made with nacho cheese sauce reminiscent of a movie theatre or airport. Too bad b/c the other toppings were decent.
My 1st time (intend to return), wonderful ambience to include good music. Small menu, focus on tacos. Delicious, friendly, fun -
Food was great, along with the margaritas! Im only giving 3 stars because I was missing two tacos from my order. Even with that, definitely a great place for takeout
I had a great time here. The service and staff were great and the food and drinks were wonderful. Would love to come back! :)
Nice ambiance - nicer than other places in the area. Food is good, but wont surprise you. Prices are okay but not a bargain.
Did a boozy brunch here which is a great deal for what you get. $40 for a breakfast menu item and 90 min unlimited booze. The Rosita drink was fantastic. Food overall was fine, would like to go back to try their dinner options.
Great margaritas, friendly staff and a cool atmosphere!
Brunch was delicious! We started with the queso, which is epic, and then moved onto burritos! We did get seating without a reservation, diverse drink menu and a nice atmosphere. Service was a tad slow, likely due to holiday weekend but it wont stop us from coming back. Enjoy!
My go-to for tacos on the UES. The prices are more than fair, quality is consistent, and they deliver on time so the food is hot and fresh. Also have an amazing deals every Tuesday!
Really solid tacos and fast, friendly delivery too. All of their packaging for take out is also compostable!Might make my way up for dine in one of these days!
Conmigo is the absolute best!!! The service is incredible and the food is SO GOOD! Their margs are creative, expansive, and fresh. The environment is always chill, trendy, and fun. Love this place
Glad we found this place in our neighborhood. Food was delicious but I wish they could’ve had flour tortilla tacos (so I had to order quesadillas). Service is great and we were offered complimentary drinks in the end. Elotes (street corns) and cocktail are my favorite.
The food is enjoyable, fresh ingredients . Unfortunately I was turned off that when I went during a time before the evening rush there was no bartender and the one person working didnt know how to make any drinks .
The food was fantastic. The drinks are delicious and not pricy. I loved it. Ask for Johnathan because he makes the best drinks. Loved it!
Go here every other week with my girlfriend. Their chips and salsa is a great app and the salsa is delicious! I usually get the short rib fajita which comes with guac, pico de gallo, scour cream, and cheese. They always load it up with plenty of meat. Highly recommend!
For some reason ... our waiter who was a brown Mexican guy with a bar piercing on his right ear wasn’t pleasant at all.... he looked annoyed and aggravated when We asked him simple questions about the menu .... me and my friend (who looks like Selena) were dining out last night and it got chilly we asked him if we could eat inside he said no there are to many people inside and we said ok (because we understand covid violations) he then proceeded to let a group of 10 inside .... we also noticed he catered to the blonde hair blue eye girls he was rude with us but actually went over to a blonde couple to mix their pitcher and pour their drink (they could of poured it themselves) .. I was born and raised on 96 st Lexington Avenue the man should realize he is a brown person like me and my friend and cater to all parties because our money counts too but the tacos were delicious and drinks pretty good ... but I won’t be going back I’ll head to my Brooklyn restaurants
I am literally writing this review as i sit here waiting almost 1 hour for my fajitas. Cant even rate the food because it still hasnt come. Frozen margarita was the worst Ive had on the UES. Something isnt right here. This place shouldnt be in business....
Great drinks, great service!
Thought it was authentic mexican cantina but it wasnt. Food was ok with a latin flair but nothing special. However if your in the mood for nothing special and just want to get a bite to eat then this is the place to go.
Food is great but dear lord do not sit inside. They were blasting music to an uncomfortable degree. 3 tables asked for the music to be turned down and they didn’t and I’m leaving this restaurant with hearing loss.
Excellent, authentic Mexican food. Great food and service. Surely best choice in neighborhood and even Manhattan. Best homemade tacos ever had👏
First time to this newly established restaurant. Really friendly reception, fabulous food... just a great experience. We will be back and if you havent been yet you really should!
Elite service. Excellent food & drinks.
Excellent tasting fresh food. Amazing margaritas! Very clean!
Great food & drinks
I really like this place restaurant because the food is tasty; however the service onsite is rough and the delivery is abysmal. I live nearby and would like to be a regular but almost every time I give the restaurant a change it gives me every reason not to go back.
Let’s just say Jonathan the Bartender showed us an amazing time. My first time to this place and it felt like home. From the amazing drinks to even the food. He treated us like family from the moment we walked in, gave us a warm greeting, introduced himself and did everything right. Definitely will be back again and request the bar just to have Jonathan take care of us again. Thanks Jonathan you’re amazing!!
First time at Conmigos and had the best time hanging out with the bartender Johnathan. He made sure we had a fun time with some great food and drink!
Few vegetarian/vegan options. Otherwise great food for reasonable prices and lovely atmosphere
Edit: Ordered from here, never showed up but showed status as completed.Serves good Tacos Al Pastor & Shrimp Tacos.
Shame on you. Disgusting, inattentive, vile, dirty service. The food was not fresh, I had to throw up. I have an upset stomach. If I have to go to the intensive care, I will report you.
Conmigo has outstanding cuisine, decor and service. It is one of the best places for high end Mexican food and craft cocktails.
Great drinks and service. I suggest to ask for Countreau Margarita. Really nice service and fair prices.
Colorful decor, clean, pleasant environment. Limited lunch menu, nice presentation of food. Very pricey for the small portions.
I am very impressed! Theire happy hour is $29 for 3 tacos & 1 hour of bottomless marg. Tacos were all DELICIOUS! Margaritas were amazing too. Great atmosphere and great service, waiter was very attentive. I am obsessed and will be coming back.
Ok food, nice place. They were changing their menu, so didnt have a brunch menu in place, wasnt a big deal. Might go again.
Love the chicken burrito and the spicy honey empanadas, great combo. Coconut margaritas are awesome as well.
My fiance and my absolute favorite spot in UES. Carlos and the entire staff are such a joy to see each time we visit and these guys have the best food and margaritas. I would actually die for their watermelon margaritas.
Amazing food and great bottomless brunch deal! Overall this is a great spot that doesnt seem to be too known and deserves to be
The vibe here is superior! Delicious varieties of Tequila. Friendly wait staff. The Beef Birria Tacos with Consome is a must!!
The best margaritas and tacos I recommend getting the pitcher go big or go home !!!!
Great burritos and awesome staff had a great meal I recommend the burrito and margaritas
Probably the best nachos I have ever had especially for only $5 during happy hour! Highly recommend!!! 😍
I had to drop another review for Conmigo! Their updated menu is just fantastic - tried the Conmigo Burger and Pamela Ribs, both were absolutely to die for. The vibes are still spot on, especially now with the cute holiday decorations, makes it feel extra special. Service? Still top-notch as always, these guys really know how to treat their customers right. And hey, if you’re around UES, do yourself a favor and swing by - you won’t regret it, especially with their happy hour deal!
I was really excited to try this place due to the reviews, unfortunately on this day I guess the food fell flat. As a table we tried the ribs, steak and tostones, carnitas taco, al pastor taco, birria quesadillas and a chicken platter. I don’t recommend a single thing aside from the steak and birria. The food was disappointing drinks were great. Very nice atmosphere great for photos. The staff was slow but friendly, our biggest annoyance with them was having our table waiting 20 minutes to get our check. Maybe a bad day who knows
Food is subpar and the noise level unbearable. If you are a young single, you might find action there, but dont bother with the food.
We walked into this place around 10:35 on Friday night after making a bit of a drive to come since my friend wanted to try it. As soon as we walked in there was no hi hello, only a “we close the kitchen in 5 minutes and everything closes at 11” from the bartender and the guy at the door. We were confused because we checked their website before coming and it said they closed at 12 and we thought we came at a reasonable time to not inconvenience them. But quite honestly, it seemed like they just didn’t want to work and wanted to go home and that’s why they were pushing people to not stay and leave. I checked their website AGAIN upon leaving the restaurant and saw that they close at 12. I called the restaurant and the same guy that told us they close the restaurant and everything at 11 picked up. I asked him what time they close and he said 11. I said oh your website says 12 I just wanted to let you know. He started stuttering and passed the phone over to a manager “Sissy”. Not sure why she’s a manager, her customer service skills were awful. She didn’t have a definite answer on when they closed, she said the kitchen closes at 10:45 and whoever’s in the restaurant can stay there until 11:15. I said then why is your staff lying to people and telling them they close at 11 and everyone has to be out by 11? She said “I’m sorry we lied to you” ?????? What? What do you mean? The owner here should definitely retrain or rethink who he/she has on staff because it definitely doesn’t seem like they’re trying to bring the restaurant business but rather shoo them away. Never have I ever experienced something like this in my entire life of living in New York and going to restaurants here. Please change your hours on your website if what the staff is saying is accurate and if not, then please retrain them to not lie to customers.
The service is fantastic, the tacos are to die for!
I have lived on UES 3 months. Became my favorite place to eat instantly. Eaten here at least 30 times.
This place is 🔥 and should be on more people’s radar. If you go, start with the Salsa. Unlike anything I’ve ever had. All the Tacos are out of bounds, along with the mezcal margarita.
Excellent chef Diego from Guerrero just started 2 weeks ago food is much better!!! Dont forget to ask for Owen hes the guy
Place is really cozy, great service. Tommys Margarita was authentic. Ate yucca crockets and tacos, tacos shells were really different than what we usually find in Mexican places. Those were home made flavor. The yucca absolutely delicious! Def would back!
Just the best. couldnt be better. i like this place. a lot! the food the service, the atmosphere, it was all great. i like it a lot!
The birria tacos were delicious!!! I didnt like the al pastor tacos and the short rib was more like a carne asada but all the food was so good that I still give it 5 stars. The service was quick and the waiter made me a mocktail based on one of the drinks on their menu. Would definitely return! The staff wore masks and we saw so many orders leaving for delivery.
Great place for food! Definitely try the coconut and raspberry margarita. We will be back!
Perfect place to go out with a group of friends. They have the best fish tacos! Service was excellent and the margaritas were fantastic
Really quite good — the food was better than I was expecting, but the servings are tiny! I liked our waiter. I checked this place out completely at random when my niece was in town and wanted a margarita. I would come back.
I will definitely go back, the managers and staffs hospitality even in the final hours of the night was top notch. You can tell the manager and the staff loved doing what they are doing because they served every customer with a smile and went out of their way to fulfill any requests. Jacks work ethic is phenomenal.Definitely try them out youll enjoy your time in the restaurant.
Nestled in the heart of upper east side, Conmigo offers a gastronomic journey like no other. Under the adept stewardship of General Manager Jack, and the skilled hands of bartender Javier, every visit promises an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance of Conmigo enveloped us in warmth and elegance. We were promptly greeted by Joel, our server for the evening, whose attentiveness and charm elevated our dining experience to new heights. To start, we indulged in a spicy margarita and a mojito expertly crafted by Javier. The mojito, in particular, left my friend speechless, proclaiming it as the best theyve ever had. The perfect balance of sweetness and zest danced on our palates!Drinks - 10/10What truly sets Conmigo apart is not only its exquisite cuisine but also the impeccable service delivered by the staff. Joels genuine hospitality and impeccable attention to detail ensured that our dining experience surpassed all expectations.Service - 10/1In conclusion, Conmigo is more than just a restaurant; its a culinary haven where passion, flavor, and hospitality converge to create an unforgettable dining experience. Whether youre a seasoned food enthusiast or a casual diner, a visit to Conmigo is an absolute must. Trust me; you wont be disappointed.Vibes - 10/10This is coming from a PICKY NYC girly.
Always a nice place to hang out and have good food. The service is always good Ive been there a few times.
The food was super late, completely cold and poorly prepared. I’m attaching a picture of what you should expect from the tacos of this place.
Very good food and even better drinks! I recommend the Mezcal Mule!
The server was very nice and the tacos are amazinggg, very filling and worth the price!
Overpriced for the type/quality of food that it is.Service was very good no complaints there. The Food was just decent.
We went to celebrate a birthday and the service of the staff was amazing and the food was delicious!
Average to bad serviceFood tastelessPrices reasonable for the portions but not for the flavor.
4 to 7 happy hour, friday half prices on food and gr8 proces on drinks!!
Walked by this place lots of times, the ambiance looks cool and fun. Finally had a chance to try. Went here for dinner, unfortunately, it was a mistake. We ordered tacos and shrimp fajitas.I got 3 different kinds, pork, shrimp and beef. All of them are very disappointing. The pork is cold, dry, and tasteless. It looks like it has been cooked for several days. It doesn’t even look appetizing. It’s like they gave up trying and just slap that awful looking dried meat .Even the shrimp fajitas is very bland. It was the worse meal I’ve ever had, and the service was lacking warmth and friendliness.I don’t understand why this place has such an awful food. And it seems pretty crowded for the most part. Maybe they are only good for drinks.
Great tacos everytime!!
The best place! Excellent food and drinks. I love this restaurant.
Awesome place for great drinks and food!
Order for delivery the lemonade I was a small plastic bottle that leaked all over because it wasnt sealed properly and the tacos was very dry the meat.
The portions are small but the food and service was amazing.
I’m vegan and I chose the place because I saw on the menu they had the impossible meat taco, when I got there they didn’t have it and neither the vegan cheese or the fried plantain..I ended up with the yucca wedges and tortillas with avocado but it was frustrating…Ps.: the staff is very very nice and friendly, I give 5 star to them. My non vegan friends said the food was good also.
Very good Mexican food. The queso fundido is especially good.
Great place for a small bite and pre game. Drinks are on point.
Great tacos and great service. All the food and drinks Ive had have been delicious.
Highly recommend the spicy shrimp tacos and the beef short rib.
Decent food and very nice people working here! However, the overpriced guacamole came with cold/stale chips in a paper bag (?) for dining in service. Ive had hot fresh chips for less money at random dive bars. Disappointing. Food took almost an hour to arrive, and the flavors were good, but the fajita vegetables were not blackened on the edges, no sizzling, and were borderline undercooked. Meat was great. No rice and beans included with any entrees, which made the food portions feel small. Acoustics are bad (no curtains/rugs/etc) so the moderately loud music and conversation felt deafening- avoid if you have any kind of aversion to loud restaurants. The paloma cocktail just tasted like straight tequila and marg mix. Its supposed to be grapefruit soda.
Good spot for brunch if its just one or two people. Food is amazing, the elote avocado toast was amazing! Great portion size as well with a side of yuca fries, salad or regular potatoes. We went for the bottomless brunch which is 40/pp which includes various types of cocktails + food. Which was a great deal! Drinks were high quality.
Surprisingly thin menu - food was good, but not much to choose from
Great tacos and beautifully decorated interior
Great food ! Alot of fun there , will be back forsure!
Love this place have been for brunch and dinner and both were great! Service is slightly slow but the food makes up for it.
Pretty good food, solid drinks. Pretty pricey for what you get.
Tried the impossible taco with the soft tortilla and the beer battered fish taco. Both were tasty.
Great taco place! fresh and tasty!
Amazing food, and genuinely the best service Ive ever had at a restaurant. Cannot recommend enough
I cant say enough good about this place. We just love it here. Its our neighborhood go-to for everything...brunch, drinks, lunch, dinner, group events, parties. We have a toddler and theyre great with her, really friendly staff, great food, great prices. Yucca fries are amazing. The cheese/mint empanadas are exceptional (and so simple!). Their brunch burrito is just stellar, and all the taco options (including impossible vegan taco) are superb. Drinks are on point. Love their outdoor seating area. Decor inside is awesome, even the bathroom. Seriously, not a bad thing to say.
Great food, good service and not very expensive prices. The only reasons why i didnt give this place 5 stars is that the songs are very very loud to the point that its deafening if you choose a place under one of the speakers. The other reason is that one of the glasses for water wasnt very clean. Must try if you love Mexican food. Try the spicy shrimp tacos.
Tacos were great and mango margaritas were fantastic
I have gone numerous times, I am surprised I don’t have more photos. I have gone for brunch and dinner. I usually get a cocktail which goes for around 12-15. Always delicious. Tacos are 5, good but priced kind of high. I really like the decor and vibe of the restaurant and always have amazing service.
Horrible customer service. Some of the waiters are rude and the manager tries to minimize any issue by giving a 5 dollar discount.I went about 2 weeks ago and I will say it will be my last going to Conmigo. The food took forever and it was warm instead of being hot. I would recommend going somewhere else.
Probably the best Mexican in the UES.Can’t wait to come back! Thank you Carlos!
Food is good but they need atleast 30 minutes to prepare the order
If you like mango sweet salsa, this place is amazing. The mexican rice is dialed.I had the enchalada with brisket, which was equally great.Id skip the cheese dip and double down on the salsa.
This place is amazing. Went there for brunch (definitely go for the bottomless option if you enjoy a boozy brunch). I had the chilaquiles, and they were INCREDIBLE. Cant imagine that the rest of the menu is any different in quality. Also some of the best coffee Ive ever had. Total UES hidden gem! Ill absolutely be back.
Came here on a mid-afternoon so it was rather chill. The food was good, but not comparable with what you can get in San Deigo.Overall for NYC, its pretty good.
The Fish Tacos and Spicy Shrimp Tacos are just amazing. If you are planning to visit you need to definitely try both. The ambience and place is nice too.The service today was little slow and zoned out but maybe because of less staff or another busy day.I was thinking giving 4 but wont reduce a star for one odd day because the food is awesome anytime you have it. Take out or dine in.
Great hospitality and even better margs! The use El Tequileno to make their margs 🤤
Says midnight for closing walked in at 11pm and had 80 people in the place and turned away 2 more people. Poor hospitality!
Great food. Expensive drinks. Margarita was 90% ice.
Best burrito bowl in the neighborhood, I love it! Friendly staff too the bartender brought me water while I was waiting to pick up my order.
Online hours say they close at 12am get here at 11pm and told they’re closed. Just the rudeness in the way it was expressed I will never return here. P.S UPDATE YOUR BUSINESS HOURS.
They no longer have any happy hour specials :(
Had the best time here yesterday evening! I went for happy hour and the cocktails were delicious and the food was as well. My friend and I both ordered starters that were half off, cocktails were $8 and the portions were huge. Really adorable ambiance and friendly wait staff. Only thing was that salsa for chips was extra$$ instead of free (one tiny error). I Highly recommend!
Casually walked in. Was greeted by Jonathan the bartender to sit at the bar. Food was great and the service outstanding. Jonathan had us laughing the whole time. Definitely recommend!
