A group of ten of us had dinner at Cuba, and it was a hit! While it’s listed as a “Cuban Restaurant & Rum Bar” on Resy, the vibe leaned more towards a restaurant experience than a full-on rum bar.As a Cuban who grew up in Miami, I had high hopes, and this place delivered. The menu is extensive and has all the Cuban classics: ropa vieja, vaca frita, rabo encendido, arroz con pollo, croquetas, papas rellenas — you name it. For appetizers, we went all out. The papas rellenas were excellent and became a table favorite. The ceviche (not strictly Cuban, but a welcome addition) was fresh, although the portion was on the smaller side. The tostones — both the plain and stuffed versions — were terrific, and the yuca frita was yummy. The croquetas were just okay; I’ve definitely had better.I ordered the rabo encendido, and it was delicious but I didn’t love the bone-to-meat ratio. The flavor, though, was spot on, and it came with rice and beans (like most of their other dishes). Portions were generous —maybe too generous; most of us couldn’t finish our meal. I also tried the rum old-fashioned, but it wasn’t quite there; it was a bit watered down for my taste. The service was excellent, with attentive staff who were helpful with their recommendations. They even treated us to complimentary cigars at the end.One small downside was the temperature in the room we were in — it got pretty warm. They turned on the heat pump at my request, but it ended up adding a bit of a musty scent which wasn’t ideal. Minor issue in what was otherwise a great evening.
Incredible food, friendly and familial service. Highly recommend the paella, it was so dense with flavors. The restaurant is charming, and theres a small private dining area you can see peeking through a cute window behind the bar. It did take a while for our main orders to come, but the food did not disappoint. And, happy hour!
This place was truly great!!! My family and I came for Christmas Eve and the atmosphere was right on the spot!! It was cozy, warm, and inviting!! Beautiful, lovely, and great food. The employees were incredibly nice as well. 😊
Not the best Cuban food in the city by far. Overpriced and basic food. The atmosphere was cramped and dark. The server was weird. The drinks were watered down.
Love the ambiance. The music was perfect volume and set the mood for a romantic date night. The staff was very friendly. They had great recommendations and came over as often as we needed. The food could have used a little bit more flavor but overall was good. Rum is not my favorite but it was nice to sample some. My husband enjoyed it more than I. The sangria was delicious. I would definitely come here again and bring some friends.
Delicious Cuban food in a lively atmosphere! The michelada was off the hook ! 🍤
The atmosphere was great! The food was delicious, a very nice place for a date night. The staff were attentive and the live music was amazing. Try it, it’s place you will always go back to for great food. Oh I forgot the drinks. Ready good bar!
I loved the food. I had the grilled octopus and fried calamari. They also have happy hour on Sundays from 4-6. I would definitely come back again.
Superb food, service, and ambiance. Check them out during happy hour and try the fried basket
Reasonably priced food and drinks with a delightful atmosphere. I came with my cousins for a family dinner and we thought the food was tasty and the portions were extremely filling. The Ropa Vieja was a standout dish for me in terms of the presentation and preparation!
I waa here with a friend for lunch yesterday, Friday. The restaurant was empty when I arrived earlyish, 12:30. By 1:30 it was packed. The space is welcoming and warm, with space outdoors too. The bar looks amazing although we didnt order anything from the bar this time. The steviece was excellent, even when the place was at capacity. We ordered croquetas de jamón as apetizers. I was disapponted. I must say that for Cuban food I have very high standards and specifically for croquetas I consider myself a catadora. We then both ordered the sa.e thing, Cuban sandwich. And here I must say that it was among the top 5 I have ever had. It had all the right ingredients, and the right balance of ingredients. The pork was tender and delicious and the bread was toasted to perfection. We accompannied the sandwiches with a salad that was also excellent. I will certainly return for a ropa vieja or a vaca frita next time.
The food was absolutely delicious. Full of flavor, and taste the way spanish food should. The staff was friendly and attentive. I will definitely return.
Very courteous staff. The outdoor seating is handicap accessible not the restrooms. (Stairs) Food quality was great, fresh and hot when it arrived. The bar downstairs which is cash only was confusing as the bartender had to run upstairs for change. Never the less, we were grateful for Cuba hosting our event in the private dining area.
Very nice experience, love the staff. The food was great as well.
Incredible. Came here years ago and it was good but not spectacular. Gave it another try and everything from drinks, to appetizers, to main courses and dessert was top notch. Staff there is very attentive and they give great suggestions.
First of all customer service and service was superb. I liked my salmon very much. I ordered my salmon with mashed potatoes and it came with shrimp in a lobster sauce. (DELISH)My Pina colada with shave coconuts was on point and my peers liked their food as well.
I visited this place last Saturday. It was absolutely packed. Even the bar was occupied. It was a Rum Bar . All the seats in the bar were occupied by ladies , this was phenomenal. There was live music too. I remember jostling through the crowd and Making a place for myself at the corner most position of the bar and ordered for an Old Fashioned .I had 2 more people along with me and all the drinks were made perfect. There was live music and everyone was rejoicing. I did not have any food so I cant comment. The person at the bar was super efficient
Great cuban restaurant! (Latin American)All dishes are prepared very authentic
Amazing little spot with 2 floors of seating space. They take reservations and are very flexible and easy to communicate with. Waited at the bar for our party to arrive, and the bartender was fantastic! Drinks are reasonably priced for Manhattan as well. In terms of food, everything we had was quite delicious! I had an appetizer and sopa which ended up being quite filling. The service is quick and very attentive. Id definitely come back again. The prices and quality of food and service is unbeatable! And if youre lucky, youll find the man in the basement hand rolling cigars!
Me and my boyfriend ran NYC I took him for his birthday and he wanted to have Cuban food. Were both from Florida and live in Massachusetts where theres not really good Cuban food. I must say for a minute we thought we were in Florida eating. The food was absolutely amazing and it was perfect for his birthday dinner
It has good vibe and great drinks. They had a broken Air conditioning and unfortunately we were dining during an extremely hot NY summer evening. They should have notified us before seating us in. Food was decent, we enjoyed the vaca frita, the tostones rellenos had a great flavour but we found it a little dry. I had the chef’s special which was scallop marinera, it was too creamy and bland for my liking. I felt it lacked the vibrant cuban flavors which I was expecting.
Cuba is such a fun spot! The ropa vieja is a must-try, and the calamari tamarindo is delicious. Their cocktails are unique and really hit the mark. The live music creates a great vibe, but fair warning—it can get a bit loud. It’s on a busy street, definitely make a reservation. Overall, highly recommend.
This cuban place was awesome! Delicious food, delicious sides, delicious appetizers! My friend and I spent a whole afternoon there ordering half of the menu! Loved the side that had potatoes and garlic sauce (the red potatoe dish in pictures) it tasted like heaven!!!We both didnt really liked the signature mojito cocktail that much, it was too bitter for me and too sweet for my friend, you figure out hows that possible!!The service was great too, they were very nice and fast.Anyways I recommend this place to anyone who likes Cuban food and food in general!
This place was definitely a beautiful, classy and lively place for dinner. I had a birthday dinner for my cousin and it was amazing. Everything from the ambiance down to the food was excellent. They had a small band playing live music. The staff were very pleasant and friendly. My food was so delicious and flavorful. I had opted for the special of the night. It was chicken covered in a layer of bread. The chicken was stuffed with shrimp. It had a creamy sauce with peas. I definitely recommend it!
My co-worker introduced me to this place and it was beautiful. NO Happy Hour😔but food amazing. Im be ambitions was very nice Outside in indoor dining fairly quiet into live band played on Thursday!
“I’m down for Cuban food”🍽 Cuba📍New York, NY⭐️ 5/5💰 $$Nice place for dinner! There’s outdoor and indoor (lower and upper level). Sat in the lower lever which was really nice and cozy. The service was great. We went with the churrasco (sooo delicious), lechón (it was a bit dry), and calamari con tamarindo (the best I’ve ever had). Red sangria was great and so was the Old Havana which was much more tastier than the Old Cuban. For dessert we had croquetas with bananas and syrup. It was all really delicious. I’d come back 😍...#nyeats #foodinny #placestoeatny #cubany #cubanfood #cubandishes #cubarestaurantsny
Been here many times throughout the years. Came here to celebrate my daughters birthday with her friends. The staff was very friendly and helpful. As always the food was very good and prepared as we asked. A bonus was the gentleman in front of the restaurant hand rolling cigars. It added a nice extra touch
My second visit to this restaurant was an absolute delight. The restaurant is conveniently located across from a public parking lot, which makes parking a breeze. Although street parking can be challenging, the restaurants worth the effort. The ambiance was truly special thanks to the amazing live music and the aroma of fresh, hand-rolled cigars that filled the air. But what truly stood out was the food – it was nothing short of fabulous. Every dish was thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented, leaving me eager to return. But what really made this experience unforgettable was the bartender, Marcos. His talent for mixology is unparalleled, and he created a unique and flavorful cocktail on the spot, tailored to my tastes. ( see pictures) Marcoss dedication and kindness elevated my experience to another level entirely.I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable night out. And dont forget to ask for Marcos – his one-of-a-kind cocktail creations are sure to impress.
Went with a group of friends for Brunch, make sure you have a reservation and everyone is on time bc this place is very cramped. Thats the only thing bad to say, the drinks were amazing as well as each menu item we ordered. Those Yuca fries are the best Ive ever had!!! #brunch
Food and service was incredible!! But it was a bit warmer than we would’ve preferred. Will definitely be going back
This is my second review. Delightful, authentic Cuban food. Great atmosphere, live band Friday and Saturday nights. There is a gentleman who makes hand rolled cigars for dinner guests. Their cocktails are how cocktails should be made, you actually taste the liquor in it. The food is incredible, such as the Paella, Tostones one of my favorites, Empanadas, salads and the grilled salmon. Whenever we are in NYC, its our go to restaurant. The staff is super fantastic, very friendly and know how to get their guests coming back. Special shout-out to Omar L fabulous server 🤗We make special trips to NYC just to eat at Cuba !!
Enjoyed dinner and drinks before a show near Washington Square Park, Manhattan, for Cuba Restaurant and rum bar. Theyve got indoor and outdoor dining. For outdoors, theyve got open air dining and semi closed off dining areas without anyone else breathing on you.Started with a pitcher of red sangria. They had a lot of fruit in it, and it was on the sweeter side. For the app, we shared tostones rellenos, and they served 3 of them. For my entree, I had the Ropa Vieja, which they served with a side of beans and rice. The plantains complemented the beef perfectly and rice.Im not a huge Cuban cuisine fan, but I loved this place. Note that menus are digital only.Staff came out frequently to check on us and were very friendly and helpful. After sharing all of this food and drink, we were stuffed! Im looking forward to returning.
Met up with some colleagues here for appetizers and drinks after a meeting and it was just perfect! We tried all the empanadas (beef, chicken and spinach/cheese) and each one is excellent. The happy hour cocktails were excellent according to my friends. It is cozy and has tasteful paintings and decor. The wait staff are attentive but never pushy. They make you feel comfortable and never rushed to leave or that you are not welcome. Even arriving a bit late, they were open to making sure that I was also taken care of. This does not happen everywhere. Some places may seem annoyed. This is a go-to restaurant for many professors visiting in the summer months and also during the year for meetings. The crown varies in age. It is a very welcoming place with authentic, freshly made cuisine. Everything is made from scratch. You can tell.I highly recommend this restaurant for any time of day. You feel tucked away and transported to a different place for a while. Lovely conversation can be had. Definitely a place to visit.
Very nice... this spot has everything one can ask for, very good food, good drinks and cery good service. We had the paella, ternera, churrasco and the mojitos were excellent, oh the old cuban.
I had higher hopes for the food than what was delivered. However if I was looking for Cuban food I would go back here. The prices were reasonable especially for New York.
Really cute Cuban restaurant. The vibe and atmosphere are great. It’s a cozy restaurant with tables close together. The menu is big worth a nice variety of different foods Also a great cocktail menu. However this restaurant really fell down on their service. The service was quite slow and a bit lack luster. It’s a great spot for dinner but they need to up their service standards.
Enjoyed the mojitos. The ultimate was noticably stronger. Needed a little more stirring of the sugar cane to cut it a bit. The ropa vieja was done well. Loved the plantain bowl and yucca mash. My wife is vegetarian and also Cuban. She made a great meal from the sides and had all her favorites. The chocolate bombba and Maria cookies and ice cream were a little disappointing in an otherwise wonderful dinner.
4.5 stars for what ? Let’s start with my Vaca Frita nasty weird aftertaste like maybe yesterday’s steak ? White rice is disgusting anyone who rates this more than 1 star doesn’t know any better . And my “Cuba Colada” didn’t get me any kind of drunk & I don’t drink whatsoever that’s honestly embarrassing I’m very upset !
First of all seating was very cramped. You cannot get out of your seat without disturbing the people next to you. You’re like part of their conversation that’s how close you all sit together. Second, I get the vibe they were trying to go for with the dimmed lights and just candle but it was just too dark. Lastly, the Paella didn’t have much flavor to it. We ordered the Paella Valenciana, it says on the description baby back ribs but there were literally no meat attached to those ribs, straight up bones. Order something else in my opinion.
Lovely Ambiance in this quaint and small quartered restaurant. Our server seem to be in a mood but we didnt let him influence our happy place. Had a great time anyway. The food was interesting but did not have a lot of flavor. Good location to catch the comedy show just down the street. Have handmade cigars made as you eat.
Amazing tasting food, good ambience and the best mojito I had in years. The staff seemed a bit superficial though. But definitely worth a visit.
Friend of 20 plus years wanted to celebrate my 40th Birthday at this place and I was not disappointed at all. Live music on Thursday night...WINNING.
Went 2 weeks ago. Food still came out hot BUT lacked flavor. No seasoning in the beans. Not even salt. Was missing the sazon, sofrito something.
Absolutely incredible place. We had a party of 8 and every dish was excellent - standouts were the vaca frita and churrasco. Drinks and service were outstanding as well, and we will be returning soon!
Truly enjoyed the whole experience around Cuba restaurant. Great cuban ambiance with nice live music, and super friendly staff with great service throughout the night. I wished I could get every dish on the menu! Old cuban cocktail was yum with a fresh sugar cane stick. Daily special ceviche was nice and tangy and fresh. The pulpo a la plancha was my fav of the night. Cooked perfectly, great texture and flavor. The crispy potatoes that came with were really good too! The daily special stir fried skirt steak with fried rice was very comforting! Bombon cubano was the perfect way to finish the meal. So decadent and nicely paired with fresh mint and strawberries and vanilla ice cream. Can’t wait to go back and try other dishes!
Went on Saturday for the bottomless brunch, have to say the mimosas are on point, music is amazing and food is great, my second time there
Lovely location, tried my first ever Cuban sandwich. For a person that isn’t fond of pork - and there was a lot ; it was okay! I’d personally want more sauce, but that’s just me!
Pros: Food and drinks were good. Ambiance is cool.Cons: Service was okay - quite slow. And also charged us for extra chips for chips and guacamole (first basket had very few chips).Overall, fun place to grab a bite but not a 5 star experience.
I was invited to a birthday dinner here. The service is impeccable! All the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The drinks were good, and the food was good. I didn’t know it was a live band, which I know some people enjoy. I do not, since you cannot really hear the people you are with. But the music was good, so it’s just a matter of preference. The room we had was VERY tight, and we were literally elbow to elbow. It’s an intimate and cozy location, but I would recommend as an option for anyone who enjoys this type of atmosphere.
Amazing food, great staff, and even better cocktails. I ordered the cazuela marinera as my entree, which was incredible. I’ll definitely be back.
Nice, covered outdoor patio seating right by Washington Square Park. The food was not remarkable, but certainly satisfactory and had big portions. Great mojito.
My experience at Cuba reminded me of my first visit to Havana. The Classic Cuban Cuisine is reminiscent and on par with the tasty food that I had in Cuba. I would recommend splurging on Arroz Con Pollo Criollo and the Black beans and Saffron rice.
Excellent place! Service was great, lovely atmosphere and the food was delicious. All six of us loved our meals.
Highly recommend this gem. Our server was attentive. The food is amazing. I had the camarones al aijjo to start( garlic shrimp, not pictured) so good. Churrasco as my main. The steak was cooked perfectly (medium rare) garlic mashed potatoes were on point as well as the sauce. The beef empanadas were juicy and delicious as well.
I visited back in Jan 2023, and the food was excellent, with a great ambiance and great selection of drinks. The waiter that served my table was very helpful in suggesting vegetarian options for me, going so far as to help me modify some of the dishes to be vegetarian.Definitely on the pricey side, but well worth the money. Cheers!
We loved this romantic & super friendly restaurant. The food was delicious and very fresh. We had the Papa rellenos (picadillo) & Croquetas ( pocini) delicious! For entree, we had the pargo en guayabera ( red snapper fillet,so Good!), and the bistec palomita (thin sliced steak, cooked perfectly. 3/4)The atmosphere was cozy, and the wait staff was so kind. Awesome bartender he is very talented, too. Will definitely go back!
Great Service and Food!!We loved it!! The Yuca Fries are amazing!
Nice place for Cuban food. Being from Cuban decent when I want my Cuban food fix I have high standards and this restaurant met them. Nice place with good drinks and great service.
Our server Fernando was topnotch. The food came out quick and hot and fresh and it was oh so good. I have found my #1 Cuban restaurant in the city.
I love Cuban and Mexican food! 🥙🌮🌯. So this place I like a lot! Food 🥘 very delicious ! I been there with my friends and it was so much busy! Drinking cocktails and waiting for food! It was pretty fast because it was incredibly busy! People even stand and waiting for place. It means place god and thats why we stay there to wait. I definitely recommend 👌🏼
Came here as part of a food tour and it was delicious!
The food is superb at this place. The prices are fair, the drinks are strong and the service is a little too good. Very authentic atmosphere as well. I dined with a party 9 and everyone was very impressed with the service, and quality of the place. Our waiter Saul was very welcoming and paid great attention to detail. I highly recommend Cuba.
We went for brunch and got the croquetas, the tortilla cubana, and the huevos rancheros. The tortilla cubana (omelette with chorizo, manchego, and spinach) was great, but the potatoes served on the side were just ok. The huevos rancheros were good as well. The croquetas were very heavily breaded -- I would not order them again. I had the passionfruit mojito, which was good but a bit too sweet for my taste. Service was good!
In May 2019, I visited Havana, Cuba celebrating its 500tj Anniversary.I can’t wait to return to its winsome people, arts, foods, shores.
Wonderful ambience and great service from all. We sat at the bar and Juan put delicate care into our drinks. We got the mojito classico and the cuban colada, best colada of my life (made from scratch right at the bar). Honestly, best mojito too. Thanks Juan!
Great drinks, appetizers, entrees, and dessert! The food was fresh and servings were generous. Literally every last bite was enjoyed. Great safe and a cozy atmosphere.
Such a cute Cuban restaurant. Delicious food. We had the croquettes and all 3 empanadas to start. They were all cheesy and so flavorful. I had the Vaca Frita and it was so much food.
One of the best dinners I’ve ever had and definitely the best Cuban food I’ve ever had! The lechon asado with yuca was incredible. The live music was a lovely touch to a wonderful dinner. Service was really good as well and everyone there was on top of everything. Highly recommend!
I was pleasantly surprised with this restaurant! Not only do they have two other rooms downstairs, but I did not expect live music! The plantain appetizer was very good along with the salmon dish, which comes with some shrimp. I have the old-fashioned rum drink which hit the spot. I highly recommend this place to sit inside and enjoy the ambience.
I recently visited a Cuba on Thompson Street in New York and I have to say, the food was absolutely fantastic. I ordered the salmon and my wife tried the vegetarian option, and we both loved our dishes. The wine selection was great and the service was impeccable - we couldnt have asked for better. On top of that, the environment was really nice and made for a really enjoyable dining experience. We actually stumbled upon this gem, but were so glad we did - it was a wonderful find.
The food was amazing. My wife and I ordered apps ( garlic shrimp and the tostones ) and for the entree we ordered the roasted pork and the oxtail. All of the food was great and well seasoned. My expectations were low from eating at other Cuban restaurants in NJ. However, this one delivered on the flavor and service. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Came here to try Cuban food it was terrible. Ordered garlic shrimp && it tastes expired. Ordered 3 empanadas and got 2 then the waiter yelled saying I should’ve told him before. Food was just awful I didn’t even get to order entrees because apps were bad.
One of my faves in NYC. Not photos the yuca fries are the most amazing ever!!!! And the sangria, not too sweet and tasty. Delish!!!!Pictured Masitas de puerco y Ropa Vieja
Food delish...service gr8t...atomsphere cozy warm inviting...intimate...
This place is huge! It has upstairs and downstairs and outdoors too. The food is good. The service is friendly. They get food tours in so it does get crazy busy. Definitely worth checking out.
Our server was from Cuba, and the music and decor also set the tone. Dont underestimate native staff for a more authentic experience. We ordered several dishes from vegetarian to fish and beef, and all were yummy. Portion size was also decent. Menu sermed focused on traditional Cuban cuisine, but Im no expert. No complaints. I would return here for sure.
1st off let me start by saying I’m half Cuban and this food and environment reminded me so much of growing up it was insane. The food was amazing. I was surprised by my family and friends here for my 1st deployment and this place did not disappoint. There was about 15 of us and we all left really happy and wanting more.
Really enjoyed this place. Amazing mojitos and great food. Will be returning!
It’s not 100% authentic Cuban food but unless you are Cuban you won’t know. Not bad just not the Cuban way.
Absolutely incredible experience for a Valentines date night. Special prix fixe menu did not disappoint. Add on some live music that you cant help but sway to, plus the friendly and attentive service, and this became a dinner to remember.
Went there with a bunch of friends. The food was great. We were downstairs and our group got kind of loud but the waiter knew it was for a reunion. Great service would recommend. Drinks are pricey though.
Had a great time. The food was great.
This place was terrific, loved the service and the food , my drink really hit the spot as well , four starts out of five because the Paella Marinara was so plain to me it lacked everything as if the rice was boiled separately and thrown together with some seafood right before serving, I thought salt would help but it didn’t. My friends had ordered the Pulpo was a hit , I would have gotten that had I known. So overall all great experience but take your chances ordering Paela Marinara .
Sangria was tasty.Food was great.Cigars was a nice addition to our birthday celebration at the restaurant.Waiter was great .Love it.We’ll be back soon ❤️
Came here for dinner with fiance, mother and grand mother and the experience is always to notch! The food is fantastic!! The ambiance is very welcoming with a touch of class!! I recommend this spot with my eyes closed and will definitely be back more often!!!
Food was good, just a little over salted and the beans were undercooked. Enjoyed everything very thoroughly and service was excellent.
The food was great. Great flavors. Im usually disappointed with most restaurants but this was delish!!!!
My review came in a couple of months too late but better late than never. I will keep it sweet and simple. Great wine selection, the bartenders were helpful and attentive. They know their stuff. Like the ambiance for a mellow and quiet night to have a good and initmate conversation. The cheese board is just amazing, we were in love with the white cheddar! We would definitely be back.
Food was passable & servers were racist (definitely preferential treatment).I had a reservation for 3, I was the first one to arrive so the server told me to wait at the bar (which is normal in NYC). However, there were other incomplete parties who arrived, and the server led them to their table. I noticed only lighter-skinned people were led to their table, while darker-skinned people had to wait at the bar. Servers definitely had some sort of inferior-race-complex issue going on.
Only good things happen in this place, the food here is a mixture of flavors that make you experience the true Cuban flavor. Personally I really loved the refreshing and delicious drinks. The old Havana was my favorite because its not so sweet and it lets you appreciate the flavor of lemon fused with mint. The staff were always very professional and attentive. I tried a little of all the dishes and the food was delicious. Also the desserts blows your mint 😋. I was delighted with this place.
I loved the appetizers move of all and the desert.
Impressive food, we came in on a sat and the host was very kind to give us a table soon. Live music plus handmade cigar station by the door. It’s a whole vibe! We loved everything definitely will come back to try rest of the menu!
Really cute and intimate restaurant with great food and drinks! Came to celebrate my twin cousins birthday here and we all really enjoyed it.
This was a great find! Food was delicious, I honestly didn’t expect all of that. Drinks had flavor and packed a punch. On Thursday’s they have live music which was a great addition to the night. Our server Jose was awesome and the food came very quickly. Will revisit this place
Great food. Great place
Best monitors in New York City . Delicious Cuban cuisine! A most if in the New York area🙏❤️
Loved the ambience and the friendly service. Wasn’t too happy with the wine selection, after tasting two different white wines we decided that it was better to switch to cocktails and we were not disappointed, both our cocktails were really good. The food was good, however some of the dishes felt a little flat in flavor, the dessert however was delicious. Service was fast and efficient. Overall a very nice authentic cuban experience.
Food is so flavourful and good amount of vegetarian options :) definitely worth a visit! I tried 4 dishes with friends and every single one was incredible.
The decor is good, but I can’t say the same about the food. Some people might find it lovely, but I just think it’s ordinary.
What a treat. I love Cuban food and everything our party had was wonderful. I had vegetable paella and fried bread pudding...yum! Oxtails were delicious, and traditional paella didnt disappoint! P.S.--The drink menu had many charms. The white sangria took me back to memories of Madrid. Delicious!
Visited this establishment by the recommendation of a relative. The decor was tasteful and the restaurant has approx 8-10 tables indoors with smaller sections with seating for a few people. The Mens bathroom is located downstairs which isn’t ADA accessible. The women’s bathroom is located on the main floor. We ordered two drinks which we had to send back. We order two new drinks which weren’t great at all.We ordered the bistec de palomilla con arroz y habichuelas. The bistec wasn’t seasoned well and the onions were half cooked. The rice and beans were not Cuban at all. The rice and beans were extremely bland and had no flavor at all. This was such a disappointment since we expected the rich flavors of Cuba in the food yet, we were met with the flavors of Anglo-Saxon America. If you want real authentic Cuban food, I suggest going elsewhere. The two stars were issued because the waiter was attentive and super understanding that the drinks did not taste great.
Invited to a friends birthday dinner party, we might have gotten better or worse service in a regular dining situation, but in this case, the service was superb. The portions ample and well prepared for a large group.
Chicken with plantains and mozzarella was amazing. They fit 4 of us in on a very busy Saturday night. The decor was very nice and eclectic. The wait staff were friendly, efficient, and quite acrobatic working in tight quarters. Highly recommended!
Highly recommend. First the staff is wonderful, Saul is a cool dude and the vibe is really chill. Tried all 3 empanadas and found them all to be delicious. Churasco was perfect and cooked to a perfect temperature. Pina colada was perfect. Only knock was we ordered the a lava cake but it tasted bought in. The mango cheese cake was really good though. Definitely go for a good meal!
Coming from someone that lives in little Cuba (Miami), this place lacks all the Cuban flavor. Croquetas had a very weird taste. Could be the oil used to fry them. Palomilla was less than not good. The meat quality was bad and the taste was not Cuban. Paella was not terrible. Churrasco was not terrible. Coffee was eh. Shrimp al ajillo was not Cuban flavor either. Overall not an authentic Cuban cuisine experience. Music was good. Place is nice. Bar looks good.
Intimate setting for Cuban Cuisine. Will look forward to returning in a warmer month
I don’t know what the hype is all about horrible customer service once I walked in already felt uncomfortable the guy that sat us down didn’t even welcome my husband and I probably because we aren’t white. Sat us down in a dungeon that was dark couldn’t see my food. The waiters were horrible both times gave the appetizers to the table next to us after they realized it wasn’t for them. When they brought the main meals did the same thing again took it to the wrong table. I was very upset but didn’t want to cause a scene. The drinks nothing special for the prices all ice!!! Didn’t like what I ordered. Small portions for the price. Never returning!!
My husband and I went here over a year ago. I still remember the classy intimidate dining experience. The food was delicious and the establishment was clean and well decorated. It was a bit small inside, but we loved our little corner. I had the banana bread pudding, I highly recommend.l it. I hope nothing has changed, I cant wait to go back.
Really enjoyed this place! Really super crowded on Saturday night with not much room to wait to be called for table, so headed to the downstairs bar. Edwardo, the bartender was very cool and made delicious coconut mojitos.Forty minutes after our reservations, we got seated at the worst table in the place, squished in the corner, right by the live music.... there was absolutely NO ROOM to move. The hostess, after much discussion, relocated us to a table downstairs, which was more spacious but super noisy (large party in the small room with us).Once we got settled and ordered, we really enjoyed the meal. The paella Valencia was delicious (they accommodated my request to remove the heads from the shrimp); it definitely loved to the rave reviews!Definitely recommend trying Cuba just be ready for a wait and careful where they seat you.
The food is incredible and the staff are really great. The skirt steak and fried plantains are amazing. The fried shredded beef was also good. Mojitos are dry like I like them. Cramped seating is the only minor complaint here but its typical for the neighborhood.
Amazing dining experience!! This place knows how to cater to the ambiance of the dining experience. Truly vibrant and authentic, this place boasts an exceptional bar, a very intimate and romantic atmosphere, and unique Cuban food that is very hard to find elsewhere. The place is always packed, and people are always having a good time laughing and enjoying the music being played. I would recommend that everyone try this place for yourself!
No complaints. The drinks are always on point. Personally today I felt that that the appetizer were prepped longer than usual and had a refrigerated after taste. Just me. Apps and drinks it is, which were enough for today. #celebratepride
The service was friendly, and the authenticity of some of the mains was decent. Unfortunately my crocetas were gummy and slightly burnt, the tostones were ok but lacking in flavor, and the main dish with squid gave me a tummy ache. From what I could tell with others the ropa vieja, empanadas, and side of frijoles negros was good. Oh and as expected, drinks were fabulous.
Great authentic Cuban food and super clean bathrooms
Service was outstanding especially on Saturday (St. Patrick’s Day)! The food was delicious and our server was great! The place is beautiful inside. There an eating area when you walk in and it feels cramped if you’re waiting on people like we were, but that’s okay. We walked through a hallway and there’s a beautiful dinning table on the left that looked like it can be reserved for a larger party. We were seated downstairs and I loved it. It felt like our own private party. There are tables downstairs and a little bar. The music was awesome! The French toast just melted in my mouth, it was so delicious!
This is my go-to spot when I want Cuban food. I love their seafood paeya. Very delicious. For Brunch try the Cuban sandwich, its quite good. For drinks try the classic mojito, a must.Date night or with family this spot is great. Just be warned I did not see a kids menu.
An absolute gem !!! Exquisite, Quaint, Warm, Friendly and Welcoming service. Our reserved table was ready upon arrival. Each person in our party of 4 had a different dish and we all enjoyed the taste-flavors, quality, freshness, and presentation of our respective entree’s. Compared to other Cuban Cuisines in NYC, I GREATLY RECOMMEND!!!!this one by far was simply the best. On last night, Dinner at Cuba NYC was the highlight of our visit to the City and many Thanks to the restaurant staff for the pleasant experience. Delicious and Delightful
I give it 4 stars only cause of the noise level. The food was amazing, but this place attracts a young crowd due to it being in the NYU college area. All in all, the staff was very attentive and the shrimp stuffed tostones were amazing.
What an awesome place. Excellent food and cool vibe with a talented musician performing live.
Dined here with a food tour! Delicious Cuban food in the heart of Greenwich Village. Definitely would return on a future visit.
Great food! Drinks were just as great! I would definitely go back!
I was a little hesitant to go indoor eating since we are in this whole Panic at the Disco, but a few of my friends came to visit from out of town that I hadnt seen in years so I took the chance. When we arrived, my friend said she made a reservation via their website but the restaurant could not find the reservation. I would recommend calling ahead just in case this happens to your party because we assumed we would not be able to eat there. Thankfully they said there was a table in the back that would sit us, but a manager came out and told us we would not be able to stay past 2 hours. We werent really planning on staying past 2 hours, so this small lecture was not necessary, but I guess still good to know. We began ordering drinks and food. We came on a Saturday, so there was endless mimosas. The way the waitress explained how to order the drinks was extremely confusing. Essentially I think she was trying to tell us that the table can only order one type of mimosa that would remain bottomless for the next hour. The three flavors, that I currently cannot remember, look exactly the same though so every staff member that passed assumed we had a different drink. We essentially tried all three drinks without ordering them. Our food came, but things were still missing. We were also celebrating two birthdays and ask for some desserts. During all of this the wait staff to not remind us of time that we were still trying to move quite quickly. We began trying to get in touch with the staff so we can get our receipt when the manager returned again saying that we needed to leave because our two hours had been over. Okay! Weve been trying to get a receipt for a little while now, you could have just brought it over. We split the bill for them paid and left. Im probably not going to return to this restaurant. Besides the point that the food is slightly basic, its a very small restaurant as all New York restaurants are, Im positive I could have gotten a better meal at a place closer to my house in a hole in the wall.
Calamari, yuca frita, oxtail, classic mojitosEverything was delicious. Service was attentive. Ambiance was comfortable.
Excellent Cuban food, among the best in New York!
My husband and I frequent Cuba and have introduced most of our friends to this restaurant. We love their food so much we had them cater our wedding 3 years ago. The menu now is a little limited (thanks COVID) but the food continues to be soooo good. Their drinks are even better. Definitely a must visit.
Every single dish we had here was great. It really was. This place is tucked away and could easily be missed, when checking out the area. I am soo glad my girlfriend looked it up, last minute! Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. $18 bottomless drinks, that day, as well. Cheers!
Varied menu, good selection of delicious appetizers and authentic Cuban entrées. Very cozy, small restaurant with attentive service. Downstairs you will find a cigar roller, offering complimentary good cigars, just make sure you tip the guy! Overall, a great place for dinner with friends.
Food great... Atmosphere great... Service, NOT SO GREAT! Male waiter serving the tables behind the bar on 12/10/15 was a complete thief. Word of advice: Do not pay cash. We left more than 20% tip and he came to us while we were walking out of the door saying that we just left $5. tip. He was not pleasant. My friend left him $20 on top of the $25 that we already had left. Note: this was not my first time here however it is the first time that i have a problem like this.
Great ambience, amazing food & good choice of music too. Highly recommend & will be returning.
Amazing little restaurants in Soho, just minutes from NYU. Loved the flavors used in the dishes. Very happy that the serving size was full plate (not the small sizes of other places in the area).
Great cultural experience: Small place. Cozy environment. Delicious food. Live music.*Customer service needs a bit of improvement.
Ive been coming here for years! The service is always incredible. The food is fresh and full of flavor. Ive never been dissapointed. Ive brought so many people here because this is truly one of my favorite places in all 5 boroughs.
I wasnt too impressed with the food. Portions werent the best and I felt like the quality and flavours of the food were simple. To some people simple is fine but I like my food cooked with soul. Just wasnt wow by the place. Spent 100$ and left disappointed. To each is own what I might find regular might be good to someone else.
Love the ambience of this place. 3/4 cocktails were notably above average. The mixed seafood ceviche was absolutely delicious - my favorite part of this meal. Also notable was the chorizo and garlic bread. Both the ropa vieja and octopus dishes were solid 7-8/10. The service was great - Our waiter was attentive and the food was quite quick to arrive!
We enjoyed a late lunch at Cuba restaurant during our recent trip to NY ! The waitstaff were really nice and the food was so good! They had a few different options for seating during covid so that was nice. You could chose to sit inside, sit in an enclosed space facing the street that had windows and a bar table, or you could sit outside in a structure that was enclosed and separated for each party of guests. We ordered a few cocktails- good white wine sangria and mojito. The presentation of the food was beautiful. I had saffron rice and shredded chicken which had a mix of tomatoes, carrots, sweet plantains, and topped with sliced avocado - yum! We also got appetizer of green plantain stuffed with shrimp and a yummy tomato based sauce. Really nice experience and visit! Would recommend for sure
Overall everything was great the seating was a little tight though. Dessert was the EMPANADITAS DE GUAYABA they were phenomenal. Probably one of the best things I eat in a long time.
Amazing atmosphere in a great neighborhood, the bartender was amazing. Forgot his name (please forgive) with great knowledge of the spirits. The mojitos are amazing and the food portions were perfect. I even took an order of ropa vieja back home to NJ with me. Food is amazing... super friendly staff. Will definitely return with friend .
Steak wasnt the best I ate but the desserts and drinks are absolutely great. They had love cuban music which was incredible.Be aware that the place is quite loud.
I don’t know how to feel about this place. Let’s start with the good things: service and food! (Which is almost everything) the busboy and server were exceptional! They checked on us all night, the food and drinks were on point. However, I made reservations, we were celebrating our anniversary. As soon as we got there we were not greeted by the hostess. She looked at us and nodded. That, straight off the bat got me in a bad mood. I said we have reservations, she asked for proof of vaccine and iD. Then she told us to follow her and I specified in the reservation it was our anniversary (something special in my opinion). She got us a table in the corner (very uncomfortable) next to a large & loud party. They were laughing and talking and just having a good time (good for them!!!) however the entire night we barely talked because it was sooooo so loud. Ww couldn’t hear each other. Also it was incredibly dark I had to ask the busboy (AN ANGEL!!) for another candle. I don’t think we’re coming back. Maybe we were expecting something different. Again the food is incredible and so are the drinks but if you’re celebrating something special I think you could chose a different spot.
The drinks at Cuba are outstanding. I had a mojito and the bartender did not hold back on the rum. The cheese and spinach empandadas were delectable. The pastry of the empanada was flaky and delicious. This is where my compliments end. For the entree, I had the chicken Managua. Not the best choice. The texture of the chicken was similar to that of a Wendys grilled chicken sandwich and the beans came tonthe table cold. No bueno!!!! Was a pretty pricey mean for Wendys chicken. However, that being said, give it a try. Perhapsnit was a bad evening in the kitchen.
Came here 7/15/21 for dinner since we were craving Spanish food. We were sat down pretty quickly (we’re 3 Afro-Latina’s) and once we sat down we weren’t attended to at all. They kept walking past by us not making eye contact at all, didn’t ask if we were ready to order or if we had any questions. We tried to get their attention multiple times they kept attending to all the White people…I was getting irritated and wanted to leave until my friend got the owners or managers attention. We placed our order which took forever to come out, they kept going to all of the white people making sure they were okay while our table was neglected the entire time. Our candle at the table went out and we asked if we could get another one, the lady asked if we wanted a lighter. Ma’am respectfully that is your job to light it, not ours. We were there for 2+ hours and nobody asked if we were okay, needed help or anything. When we were down we wanted to pay and nobody asked if we were ready, we had to haunt the busier boy who then told us we couldn’t do separate checks that we HAD to split the bill on 3 separate cards until we kept refusing. Why run a business if you’re not even going to be on top of the customer service? It was disgusting seeing how PEOPLE OF COLOR TREAT THEIR OWN PEOPLE! It’s 2021, this should not be happening. The food was good but I refuse to go back there. Terrible customer service, we felt so unwelcomed the entire time.
This place is cute and TINY! Its usually packed so make sure you make a reservation . The food is absolutely delicious and authentic. The service is impeccable. I wish it was a bigger spot only so we could stay longer. It felt a little rushed. But Id go back in a heartbeat.
Really great staff, accommodated our large table and my many requests to bump up the size, and the food was phenomenal. Something for everyone. And good, strong marg pitchers as well.
It was good, but a little fancy.
Saul is the best waiter I’ve experienced in years!!! He was so personal and great, and was constantly checking in with us! Will be back for another brunch soon!
Dinner here was really delicious! The food is authentic and cooked really well! Enjoyed the Arroz con Pollo for my meal! Highly recommend!
Cuba has a comfortable, lively atmosphere without being noisy. The waitstaff is highly attentive; every need is met. The varied menu makes it tough to make an order decision, as everything looks amazing! Everyone at our table was so pleased with their food. Ive been dreaming about my grilled octopus!
The ambience here is dark and cozy, perfect for a date night. The mojitos were the best Ive ever had and the food did not disappoint either. Reservations definitely needed if you come during prime meal times
Unfortunately I was expecting more from this restaurant we read the reviews before going since we were in the area but it disappointed food is really Cuban is more of a fusion lacking flavor but add too much garlic to what we ordered drinks are way too expensive the place itself is too small we are literally touching elbows with people in the next table mens bathroom right next to the kitchen and dining rooms in the basement we can go on and on but definitely were not going back.
Food was amazing, especially the desserts that we took (empanaditas and key lime tres leches). The drinks were good but a bit pricey ($36 for three drinks is a bit pricey for me). Service was okay (the server who was filling water glasses was spilling a bit when doing so) and the experience was satisfying overall.
The place is really cute! Staff was nice. The food was ok. I got the Vaca frita. The meat was extremely tough, like it had been dehydrated and reheated. The rice was ok, beans the same, nothing authentic about it]! The waiter asked if I wanted a bit of spicy for my food. I said yes, thinking that I was going to get a yummy Cuban garlic spicy sauce... nope, they gave me Cholula MEXICAN hot sauce. All that for $24. Not worth it!
I have been going to this restaurant since 2010...this restaurant has the best food, but what brings me back is the staff. They are absolutely amazing. I called to see if they were still open due to covid-19 and they were! Once again amazing food, staff, and live music. Thank you for being amazing!
Shared an amazing dinner here! Everything was exceptional!
We made reservations and got seated so quickly. The staff was very friendly! My favorite drink was the “Old Cuban”. For start we got the fried calamari/maduros then a side of tostones which was so good! For entrees we got Camarones Enchiladas and Ropa Vieja! I LOVED IT! Everything we got tasted delicious I’ll give it a 9/10! I will definitely go back!
Delicious food. Kind staff. Will return !
Drinks were strong, food was great.
I was very excited to try this restaurant but I was disappointed by the horrible customer service. Appetizers ordered and dropped by buss boy (never saw my waiter), food dropped by buss boy (again never saw my waiter). Would have liked more water or a cocktail but...Even way after I had finished my meal I had to ask for my check twice. I payed with cash but as soon as I was leaving I noticed the waiter rush to my table my guess is he thought I was skipping. Would have loved that type of attention during my meal but I guess I wasn’t the right type of patron because I certainly saw much of my waiter just not a my table. Also the ventilation is terrible so expect to leave smelling like a kitchen.
My 3rd visit and everything was excellent. Food was fresh and hot and tasty. Drinks were nice and strong and delish.
We found this place just walking around. But what an amazing find 😍 👏 the food was amazing, authentic Cuban food. From the cuban chacabana shirts to the atmosphere 👌 was awesome. A must, must go to place.
Not really a great place to eat. Its good to hangout there but food wise, its horrible. We were a group of 13... 3 of us ordered the same dish, and each of our portions were in different sizes. I got the tiniest portion... Hence the negative review. Go north for better Cuban restaurants.
Loved the food, the ambience and the service. The best Cuban food , well, the best meal Ive had in a long time. Try the fried calamari with plantains and 🍅, I know : weird combo, but delicious, and the stuffed plantains too
This place is amazing. The food the staff i enjoyed myself very much here. Although it is a bit pricey i would come back. Really the only bad thing i have to say is about the mens bathroom. It is not only well hidden kudos for that but it is very small. I guess they made due with what they could given the space that they have. I will be returning and recommending to my friends as well!
Great and unique food. Great service.
My first time here with a couple of my friends and I must say it was wonderful! The food was delicious and the service was great! Well maintained and attentive friendly staff. I really enjoyed and will def return!
Delicious Cuban food. Energetic environment. Great place for parties. Had an excellent experience. Thank you.
Great atmosphere. Lookout for weekend boozy brunches. As of August 2022, 1hr free flow cocktail for 20$... smashed that !Tres leches dessert to conclude was to die for.
The food here was absolutely amazing !!! Came for a private event but order regular menu items ie vegetarian paella, shrimp and cheese empanadas and tostones rellenos. So flavorful, savory and authentic. Wine list on point, have a Ritual wine and thank me later. Please do not skip dessert the guava empanadas where so delicious and authentic that wanted to order more to go!!!
Quality of the food was outstanding. Best tostones we’ve ever had.Good service and reasonable prices. Love the neighborhood just south of Washington Square Park. We will be back for great Hispanic food.
Cute place, great service and good food
Reason why I give this restaurant a 1 is because of poor customer service. We didnt even get to try it due to them not even knowing it was time to open. My husband and I had been looking for a place to eat some authentic Cuban food, not being from here we searched on google and this place had such good ratings we were convinced it was worth the wait and the distance from our hotel. We waited at the park for 11:30 (the time they announce the restaurant opens) so we could eat brunch there. Upon arriving (at 11:38 am) we noticed the door was open, but the chairs were still up on the tables and a young man and a lady are standing by the bar, we walked in, they turned around after I entered, and I asked if they were open (since it says everywhere they are open @ 11:30am), the guy says with a look of shock on his face as he looks at the lady yes we are open...then the lady looks at the computer (assuming she looked at the time) and says we open at noon today she said it with an attitude as if we shouldve known, didnt even explain why everything (menu, webpage, etc.) announces opening time @ 11:30am. I wouldve understood if they told us they had to open later nicely but instead the lady was rude and unapologetic. We spent a lot of money on this trip and felt our time was wasted waiting on this restaurant to open and having to go elsewhere because they gave us a bad experience that made us not want to go there anymore. In other words, they need to learn to appreciate their customers more since it is because of us they have a business to begin with. In the end we ended up going to Cafe Habana which was amazing, great customer service and to top it all of better pricing.
Awesome service.Good food.Brunch specials arent too bad - not massive servings, so keep that in mind.Friends thought the white sangria was too sweet.Well decoratedGood music
My girlfriend & I were strolling looking for a good dinner to eat. We stumbled upon Cuba & did not regret it one bit. The ambience is cozy & vintage, they even had a latin singer perform! The churrasco & vacafrita were SPECTACULAR in flavor! The mojitos got the job done, so fresh & delicious. Our waiter Saul had awesome energy, was cheerful & catered attentively to our needs. If youre looking for cozy vibes, TREMENDOUS food/drink, & awesome service, youll want to stop here & have Saul attend you...you wont regret it!
Fantastic food, amazing service. Atmosphere was great with live music
Wow. For being fairly simple seeming Cuban home cooked style/traditional meals, I am amazed. The beans and rice are amazing. The chicken is so flavorful and fantastic quality. The avocado is amazing. All perfect.
We went here for drinks and appetizers and it was great! The mojito was delicious and we loved the calamari! The atmosphere is very nice and the entrees looked good!
I came here for dinner on a Friday night. The restaurant is quite large since theres two floors. I prefer the lower level since theres less people and theres comfy couches to sit on. It seems more private but more space for everyone to relax. They have a great happy hour at the bar until 7pm - $5 mojitos and sangria (red or white). The drinks are strong and its a pretty good deal. We ordered a variety of dishes: grilled octopus, beef supercane skewers, oxtail, ropa vieja, red snapper, and the vaca frita. We really enjoyed the ropa vieja and the vaca frita. The food was delicious and the service was great. I would come back to try other dishes.
It is an ok restaurant - the staff is ok, and the food is bordeline ok and mediocre latin. Avoid the oxtail dish, it is is flavorless and full of fat! Price of what they served. A bodega is the way to go.
Great drinks, great food, great service, great ambiance, only negative was the dessert, we had key lime tres leches, found it bitter and not very tasty. But still giving it 5 stars because all in all it was a wonderful experience.
This place has a nice charm to it. Boozy brunch seems to be a good deal, although some of the cocktails were a bit meh, others hit the spot with real fruit. Good options for food, and works great with large groups. Its a tight squeeze both up and down stairs.
Came here with my family visiting from overseas. We were able to get seated right away for a table for 3 without a reservation on a friday night. They have a really dope lower level seating space that gives it a very cozy, vintage vibe with brick walled alcoves which opens up into a nice lounge looking space with a bar. its strange to find a spot like this in the west village thay has subterranean seating. it felt like walking into a speakeasy. The food was spot on with traditional cuban cuisine.Definitaly will be back
I love Cuba! Ive been coming here for years and years. The food is always delicious. The service is great. The head of house (maybe the owner?) Is always welcoming, cheerful and I tend to feel like Ive been invited into a Cuban household rather than at a restaurant. Theres a Cuban cigar roller in one corner, theres a Cuban 3-piece band in another. You really cant beat the food or atmosphere pretty much anywhere. Consistently. Mt favorites: bistek palomillo, tostones, Abe the chocolate lava cake dessert. But everything is good. Ive never had a bad or even mediocre meal here, nor have any of my companions. I cant say enough good. Always busy - you should try call ahead or make a reservation.
Delicious Food, great staff and ambiance
Insanely delicious and great vibes
Group = 8 people on a Friday nightFood = 3 stars for my dish (chicken with safron rice, avocado, plantains--tasty but chicken was dry and it was a rather small portion), 4 stars for my friends dish (stuffed tilapia over mashed potatoes). they have happy hour drink specials.Ambiance = 4 stars (small place but they take reservations; cool guy making cigars in the corner)Service = 3 stars (girl was rude about not allowing us to sit on the side of the restaurant. we had no room right smack in the middle. waiter was also mean about not allowing us to use more than 1 free soda for yelp check in.)Dont think I will go back. There are PLENTY of better Cuban places in the city and for a reasonable price for the amount of food you get.
The food is delicious! Sangria tastes amazing and is quiet strong.
Showed up on a Saturday night without a reservation, No Problem! My girlfriend and I were seated at the lower level bar. Space was tight but the music, drinks and food made it well worth it.
Food was delicious!! Ordered the skirt steak with rice and beans. Cuba colada was great as well. Dessert was 👌. Staff and hostess was so nice and attentive. Thanks guys!
Everything was amazing. First time there. All the flavors savor in your mouth. Passion fruit Sangeria ohhh man. Definitely going back. Our waitress was amazing.
Absolutely delicious food. So much flavor, in a really warm, cozy atmosphere. It can get a little tight, but the food and cocktails more than make up for it.
Nice restaurant with really interesting decor and rum flights. I had the ropa vieja which was tasty. 4 stars since the beef was a little tough, and the plaintains could have been more flavorful.
Ordered a well done bistec portillo which came with rice and beans. Also ordered a side of tostones. The steak had little to no flavor and was not well done as I requested...was medium rare pinkish in the middle. Black beans was not good.....but tostones and mojo was delicious. I was visiting in miami some years ago and went to a cuban restaurant and the cuban food their was delicious. But the food here was disappointing. Wheres the cuban food? Not here. They did however give me a partial refund for them messing up the steak. But I will never come back here again...expensive place and I expected better food from them based on ratings. Thankfully many other places for better cuban food. This place failed.
Great food, perfect for 1st, 2nd and 3rd dates. The live band was definitely on point. Sorry for being late, but it was hard getting 7 folks there on time for dinner. Best way to get there: Uber, Lyft, or Public transportation.
Just had brunch here. Really good drinks and really good food. Was busy so had trouble getting the easier to come over for more drinks, but as the meal went on they got better.
This place was awesome! The food was delicious and the atmosphere was really cool. They had live music and a cigar rolling station. I definitely recommend checking this place out.
Honestly...can you find a better brunch in NYC? NO! Great drunk(probably should say drink) and food menu and dope service. Had the ropa vieja for meal and yuca for app and it was perfect. Service was A1. Sit at the bar. TRUST ME. 5 years since my last visit and still the same great experience!
Great food. Good size portion for meals and starters. Recommend cauliflower taco yes a vegetarian taco. But it’s great! As well as the meat.
Stopped by for brunch and omg! Food is excellent, mimosas are amazing, outside boots are great and well heated, definitely going back for dinner
Good Friday night hangout with Cuban food and live music.
Drinks are amazing! I had the seafood paella and it was delicious. Service was great.
