My wife is Brazilian and we absolutely loved it. The host who met us at the door was also our waiter and absolutely fantastic. Im sorry I forgot his name but he would speak Portuguese with my wife and thankfully English with me. He made our experience there that much better. Actually, ever person that came to our table had a big smile and friendly personality.If you are looking for delicious food with a wonderful atmosphere this is the place to go.Thank you for making our experience there a memorable one.

Was in the neighborhood for a class and visited here for lunch 2 days. Exceptional service (Carlo)!!!! He is the consummate professional. The meals were extremely tasty. Homemade hot sauce !!!!

Great, little find. They have a nice happy hour until 7 oclock 5$ Sam Adams , 7$ wine every day. appetizers were great. Didnt get a dinner but great little Brazilian place. Caipinihna ao good and i it is into the happy hour.

My new favorite Brazilian restaurant. Great service, delicious food, and fantastic desserts. For appetizers we had beef empanadas, chicken croquettes with cheese and codfish croquettes. All fresh and tasty. I asked for a spicy sauce and was given an in-house made sauce that was a perfect accompaniment. (Might be too hot for some.) For dinner we had a chicken dish, Branzino and I had a traditional baked cod with olive oil, onions, tomatoes, olives and potatoes which was great. Everyone was pleased with their entrees. Dessert of passion fruit mousse and traditional Romeo & Juliet were the best ever!The assorted Brazilian music in the background was at the perfect volume. Enough so that you could hear it as well as converse with your company. Vibe was relaxing, and casually elegant. Will definitely be back.

Service was great! Careful, tip was included in the bill. The food for us depended on what you ordered. Unfortunately I didn’t make photos os all 7 dishes ordered (we were 7). Beef Parmeggiana was good. The Emporium Steak was perfectly cooked as requested, which is a plus. The meat came already cut, which among us is something controversial. We’re used to having it served whole. But as we are in a different country, we accepted that maybe people do things here different. There was another steak that we ordered that was not soft but the side dishes and the total amount of meat that came were enough to feed 2 people. I wish someone had told us that, it would have helped us to not waste so much food and maybe even order a dessert. I wonder if the side dishes were optional. Don’t remember have read that in the menu, but I could be wrong. The fried Cassava was fine. They have guaraná, which is a plus! Prices were ok for the location in NYC. Sure not the best Brazilian restaurant I’ve been but overall it was a good experience.

Tasty and excellent service. Authentic, classic cuisine. Better than the other Brazilian restaurant across the street in our opinion. Prices are high but 1) tipping is not common or expected in Brazil so they factor that into the price for Brazilian tourists 2) portions are big and come with sides of rice, beans, and salsa. Fries come as circular slices in their own little frying basket.

A brazilian restaursnt with white cloth clean tables and romantic ambiance - could be a great option for a date restaurant. Its quite, so it allows to talk to your friends. The main course comes with rice and beans if its not cheeseburger or pasta. Fried chicken was okay but lacked some flavor. Rice and bean sides were really delicious. Desserts needs explanation on the menu. For instance, the chocolate cake was actually chocolate cake with caramel with a dominant caramel flavor so it felt like a caramel cake instead. We tried three of the desserts and only liked the raspberry mouse. I may come here again but not my favorite..friendly staff..

I loved eating here I had a a great server Karrlo he welcomed us to the Restaurant and I enjoyed the food I had the salmon and I loved and enjoyed the food I will definitely be coming back 5/5 stars.

If you want to feel a good tipsy feeling, have a cachaca. Its a wonderful 💉. Appetizer of yuca and sausage tasted exquisite. Steak was very good overall. The dessert Romeu and Juliet will send you to have. Highly recommend you try that dessert on the menu.

This is the best brasilian place in NYC.The service is outstanding, Geraldo is the best always.The food is amazing, so so good that we always forget to take picutes and start right away to eat! 😇The coffee after dinner is divine, I always drink one!Highly recommended! 🥰

This place was amazing! Everything was so good from the appetizers to desert. The staff was so great even letting us close out the place. The house hot sauce was great. Will definitely come back when back in NYC and definitely recommend it.

Good spot for Brazilian food! I had their grilled branzino and it was delicious! Their croquetta and empanada were yummy as well. I also tried their flan and it was good, nothing spectacular.

Haven’t really tried that many Brazilian restaurants but this restaurant feel like it’s a high-end one with authentic food and great service. Love this exotic food adventure!

We had lunch at Emporium Brasil and everything was perfect. The linguiça with onions and the feijoada were delicious. The coconut caipirinha was awesome, a new favorite for me. The people in the staff are super nice. I want to go back!

Although the menu is expensive, the steak is very delicious and portions are great. Our waiter was super friendly and other staff were professional. Picanha steak is the best.

Ive been eating at Emporium since 2005. The food is authentic Brazilian exactly as if you were in Brazil, needless to say its also deliciously made by the restaurants tenured Chef Samira and served with a smile by the super nice staff that has been loyal to us for decades. I am happy that they are around during the pandemic, the outdoor patio is ventilated and has heaters, lights, power, WiFi, etc. probably the best patio Ive been to. Everything is good on the menu, yet dont forget to try the pastel de carne e queijo and the famous pao de queijo (all appetizers) before you indulge into the delicious picanha with the trio rice/beans/farofa. If you ever go to Emporium, youll probably see me there ;-)

Good service, the plate I ordered came with beans but it was mostly soup, though the waiter helped me out and brought more beans - great empanada! my wife enjoyed her caphriinias. Beautiful tables.

Delicious Brazilian food with friendly service.We came here for lunch during a workday and had their lunch specials: grilled tilapia and brazillian sausage.The food is delicious and freshly cooked. They make their own delicious hot sauce that is a must. Services are prompt and friendly. Recommend going if you are in the area!

This place is absolutely superb. The steaks are awesome and there is a good selection of wines as well. I would highly recommend the places signature steak. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality of the food and the size.

Went here after my daughter graduated. It was a wander full experience and the food and the service was top shelf. The expression was wonderful we were treated so good. I cant weat to goback

We ordered a number 46 for appetizer and a fejuada completa as the main dish. The portion size was very big and more than enough for two people. The service was great and atmosphere was also really good. However, I felt the taste of the food to be too smokey-ish. Im not brazilian though and this might have been good in brazilian cuisine. Yet, this was not the taste I experienced in other Brazilian restaurants.They were showing the Brazil match on a few TVs and on a large screen. Maybe somewhere you want to be when Brazil has a game going on.

Awesome experience! Visiting from Fl. They easily handled our group of 7. Don’t be put off by what we spent per person. We did apps, meals, drinks and desserts. You can easily get away with spending less. Service and food were both excellent. Shared the fried sausages with yuca,very good. I had the linguine Alfredo with shrimp. It was perfect. Shared several deserts all were great. Highly recommend this place.

Me, my friend and son came here after a long weekend in the city. This was an amazing place to slow down rest and eat amazing food. I loved the chicken with cream and hearts of palm. I believe its calledFRANGO AO MOLHO DE PALMITO EN BREAST. I learned how to make it I enjoyed it so much. Thank you for a nice evening

Excellent service, very attentive. Geraldo always makes sure one has first-class hospitality. Food is always so great; sometimes we forget to take pictures. The coffee after dinner is just divine; I never miss it. They have a really fun happy hour to 7 PM, with $5 Sam Adams and $7 wine, across the board. The appetizers were very good, and I did not have a full dinner, but this little Brazilian place won me over. The caipirinha was great and part of their happy hour options as well.

Was lucky to have dinner with a Brazilian friend who spoke Portuguese & ordered for us. Everything was so delicious & if you leave hungry, its your own fault! Waiters were very pleasant & always had a smile.

My husband and I ate lunch here on a Saturday before our Broadway show and without a reservation. It was a very nice experience! The staff/service was prompt, polite and helpful on selections. We really enjoyed the food and drinks. Would definitely go back. Thank you!!

Emporium Brasil is one of the best restaurants in New York without a doubt! The food there was incredible! Everything was served in a very organized, and timely manner. Everyone in my family said that the food here was perfect! The Feijoada and the Pão de Queijo were the best by far.The servers who walked around the restaurant constantly refilled your water too! On a hot day in New York, this restaurant would be perfect to get some water. The servers always spoke Português, which was always nice to hear, as someone with a large Brazilian family. The servers were incredibly respectful, and ready to help you with any problems you had.There was one man who did such a great job, I would literally say he is the best server I have ever met. His name was João. He was incredibly respectful, and helpful. He gave a lot of good food recommendations and was overall a pleasant person. We actually came back on another day while we were in New York. As soon as he walked in, he remembered us immediately and welcomed us back. He was a great guy overall.If the manager of the restaurant sees this, please tell him that he is a great guy, and thank you for all of the food suggestions!Overall, this is an absolutely great restaurant. I would go here a thousand times and I would always want more. Great job to everyone who works here!!👍👍👍

For my 3rd outing at what is now a clear favorite, I enjoyed a delicious and beautifully presented dinner. Service with a smile barely tells the story. To confess, it was my birthday dinner and the wait staff serenade was charming.

We had a wonderful dinner here on our last night in New York. Cozy restaurant near Times Square with very friendly staff and quick service. We had the beef Stroganoff, which was perfectly seasoned, a hint of spicy, with rice and beans, and the Branzino com Camarao, fish with shrimp and squash, in an amazing slightly sweet coconut sauce. Lively clientèle, lots of good laughter, and soft music in the background.

Great little place for Brazilian authentic cuisine. Lovely taste, and the server will recommend it as per your pallette. It shuts at 8pm, duh

Worst coxinha I’ve ever had. I hadn’t eaten coxinha in a long time so I ordered 6, imagine my surprise when I took a bite and it was full of corn 🤢Who even puts corn on coxinha?If you don’t like corn, I don’t recommend it! It didn’t say anything about that on the menu either, otherwise I wouldn’t have ordered.

The shredded chicken in the potato cake was really good. The ground meat pie was ok, had better in Cajun country. Ill try other stuff next time. Bartender was nice and the service was good.

Whenever I see a Brazilian restaurant that isnt a steak house, I cry happy tears. Brazil has excellent cuisine, and at Emporium, we can have some taste of that. And they have great drinks too!!

Top notch food and good service at good prices. Very nice place for a dinner in New York, close to the Broadway shows and 5th Ave shopping. Lots of variety on the menu, steaks, fish and a lot of other interesting dishes. The soup of the day was terrific (white bean and chicken the day we were there) and the desserts were terrific. This makes my go to list for New York visits.

My husband and I have been going here for about 16 years now and it is amazing!! Everything Ive ever had has been delicious and the service is great! We always recommend this restaurant to family and friends from all over and they are never disappointed. Our favorite food items/recommendations are: cheese bread balls, cheese & beef empanadas, chicken and cream cheese croquettes, all salads, and my all time fav entree is the steak and eggs (over easy). The steak is seasoned and cooked perfectly, served with delicious circular potato fries and amazing rice and black beans. You will not be disappointed!

Ive been going to this restaurant for years now. The owner is kind, and the staff do their best to share the culture and make a welcoming experience for diners. The food is consistently good and hearty, and the Saturday feijoada buffet is a great experience! Its incredibly fun to eat there when theres a soccer match on, especially for the Brazilian team. The restaurant is packed and festive.

The food is incredible and a great value! The portion sizes are very generous for the price. We always get the sampler of small snacks (coxinha, cheese bread, and pasteles) which are always so crispy and delicious. The picanha and Gomes de Sa are also incredible, as are the desserts! The service is always so friendly, and the current outdoor dining setup is great! I would highly recommend a visit!

I had a wonderful dinner at Emporium Brasil, a cozy and elegant restaurant that offers authentic Brazilian cuisine in Midtown Manhattan. The highlight of my meal was the picana steak, a tender and juicy cut of beef that was cooked to perfection and served with a tangy vinaigrette sauce, toasted yucca flour and fries. The steak was so flavorful and satisfying that I almost forgot about the sides, which were also well-prepared and complemented the meat nicely. The service was fine, attentive but not intrusive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. I would definitely recommend Emporium Brasil to anyone looking for a great spot to eat Brazilian food in New York City.

I’m Brazilian and I’ve been searching for good Brazilian food in Manhattan. THIS place has fantastic food! I tried a couple of dishes and they were great but here’s how you know they are the real deal: their rice and beans, the very basics, is great! The fried yucca, also a basic, is solid! The coxinha was such a pleasant surprise. A little pricey, yes, but worth it. Support them so that they stick around through the pandemic... we can’t lose another good Brazilian restaurant.

Amazing Brazilian food right in Manhattan! Great service from Brazilian waiters (thank you Geraldo and João). The price is pretty average for NYC. We had the coxinha, the sausage with yucca, and the feijoada, all of which tasted really good. The caipirinha was also amazing.

We stopped by for snacks and a drink. I had a cappuccino and my fiancé had a diet guaraná. Absolutely authentic, delicious, and precise.We got pastel, coxinha, and bolinho de carne seca.Good service. It is a bit pricey, but we’ll worth it the value.

I love this place!! My boyfriend & I come here all the time, especially since we used to work near by. Absolutely the best Brazilian restaurant. It’s so sad after COVID-19 it’s no longer open on Monday or Tuesday. The food here is phenomenal and the drinks are amazing.

Authentic, delicious and reasonably priced food served in a romantic setting. The menu describes the dishes in English and Portugese . Theres a full bar and wine list. The staff was extremely helpful and professional. The Feijoada completa (Brazils national dish) was superior and a generous portion.The fish dinner was tender with a nice accompaniment of olives, tomatoes and sauteed spinach . A good variety of appetizers and desserts are offered. The restrooms get 5 stars.

We had a reservation, but there was no table available and wouldnt be for a while. The manager was rude, and while we were there another group left angrily over some kind of dispute. We walked 1/2 a block down to Ipanema, where we were treated very politely, seated immediately, and had a good dinner.

First time I went here after reading the other great reviews. Both me and my wife were so happy with the food and service. The decor is also beautiful. We sat on the corner by the window, where we have privacy

The restaurant had a table free, but the waiter said “I have a table just for people who are gonna eat dinner, not just eat some snacks” and it sounds really rude. I don’t recommend this place at all. Me and my friend were really disappointed and felt discriminated, I felt sad how my last day in the city ended up.

Its my first time ever in New York and at this restaurant, and it was phenomenal! The food here is absolutely wonderful with all the flavors, the ambience, and the staff are all fantastic. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to try, or loves Brazillian food!

Great Brazilian food with a NYC flavor.VIBRANT atmosphere, super friendly and attentive service. The bar tenders are really nice.This is a bar and restaurant were everybody knows your name.The Brazilian caipirinha is a must have drink.Brazilian sweets are different and some what exotic. ENJOY!

Great service and delicious Brazilian food, from the bolinhos de carne seca, feijoada, to brigadeiro. The drinks were amazing as well (strawberry caipivodka and passion fruit caipirinha). We visited in September 2021; plan accordingly as they close at 8 PM.

Food was excellent, especially the cheese bread and garlic fried chicken. Service was outstanding as well. My daughters have been learning Portuguese and the waiter, Geraldo(sp?), was happy to help and encourage them. Thank you.

Your regular Brazilian Restaurant in Manhattan. The food is good (8/10), the service is great (10/10), but the price... Its too expensive for simple food! Hence why overall Im giving 3/5 stars.

Food was good. Ok atmosphere was fine. Got the beef strogonof. Was good and rich. Came with rice and beans. Did not understand the point of the potato sticks. They had not reason to be with the dish. Sister got the chicken and spinach risotto. Rice was not done enough. Otherwise pretty good.

I believe this is one of the most high end Brazilian restaurants in NY . For those looking to try the salgadinhos they are done on demand. I had an amazing cod fish dish. What I love the most about this place though is the way they treat their customers. Thank you for making me feel special w a delicious meal. Brought me back home for a night

Very flavorful, and I wouldnt mind coming back again.Drinks: Sadly, I cant report on the alcohol as Ive sworn it off for the time being. What a Gem in the heart of NYC. I haven’t had authentic Brazilian food since I was last in my husbands beautiful state in Brazil. There is so much more to their cuisine than just steak houses. The food was delicious just as I remembered in Brazil, the service was outstanding the restaurant was very clean. We went in close to closing time and we did not get the sense of being rushed out. I haven’t had good service at a restaurant like this in a really long time. When we go to NYC we will be sure to come back to Emporium Brazil 🇧🇷 🖤

Great place to have lunch, serving delicious Brazilian food. As a Brazilian I can say that the food is really authentic and the service is good. They have many traditional Brazilian snacks as well, in case you just want to stop by and grab something to go. For dessert, I highly recommend a brigadeiro.

The place was very nice and the food was decent for the prices that they were offering. The portion for the steak was very big and came with rice and beans on the side for only $25. We walked in and were able fo get a seat unlike most restaurants in NYC which was nice.

Not the best Brazilian experience. Caipirinha was more salty than sweet/sour. I had my picanha come out medium instead of medium rare. They cooked another piece and they cooked it into three thinner pieces. I guess the cook could not get medium rare done rite in a thick cut. When it came out it was brought out by another server and my server NEVER followed up. Do not recommend. And at the end NO ONE EVER SAID SORRY OR LETS MAKE IT RIGHT SO WE MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE FEELING LIKE WE CARE!

Had the recommended steak. Waiter recommended eating the yucca flour, rice, beans and salsa together with the steak and that made all the difference. I do recommend medium rare. They tend to overcook.

We went to Emporium Brasil with a large group of people during the weekend and it was such a good experience!The staff is incredible and was super patient with our requests and attentive to our needs. They were very kind and hospitable which made the experience so great!The food was also delicious and the service was fast. The portions are larger than what they look like in the pictures, which was a great surprise and the overall quality was superb.Overall, its a great recommendation if you are in Midtown!

If your looking to live life to the fullest on meat this is your place. If your looking for a first date kind of place than this wouldn’t be for you, because you would make sure self look horrible by all the great food you would stuff yourself with 👍🏻. Classy but not for a first night meet up.

I recommend this place to anyone wanting to try something different or to any Brazilian looking for authentic Brazilian food. I am American and my wife is Brazilian and we both loved our dishes. The appetizers are a sure thing. The menu is a fusion among different cuisines, to please the more continental palate. Plain and simple dishes, not necessarily Brazilian food.

Good service and very good food. Surprisingly affordable for the location, food and experience. I had the Camarão na Moranga which was really nice.

I had the best experience there! I felt very welcomed.They follow covid-19 protocols by asking for vaccine card, and apply hand sanitizer. The whole crew is very attentive.The server & host who helped us is Karllo (I don’t know if I’m wrong, that was the name on the receipt) he was so nice to us. I loved that everyone spoke Portuguese, makes me feel comfortable and at home. 10/10. The price might feel a bit too high for you but it’s so worth it.

Appetizers were great as was the service. The picanha steak was tough and bland. Our cheap steak knives could not cut through the steak.

I walk about this often as I go to Chic-fil-A. I should have kept going to Chic-fil-A. The stroganoff was salty and the beef was meh. Considering how much it is, there are a lot better options. Plus service was slow.

Well we’llI was asking what tipe of soup they have Brazilian food is diferent ... so the waitress laugh and say is normal soup and I think is not the proper way to inform a customer that is asking the question!

Reasonable prices, although after including tax and tip, you end up paying 30% more than what you saw in the menu, but I guess thats everywhere in the US. The service is really good though, very nice people and good atmosphere.

When you want to experience amazing cuisine, fantastic service, and a great cultural atmosphere youll need to stop here. I found this on a whim while looking for a restaurant for my brother. He wanted some Columbian food and was missing it after being there. He was impressed, we were all impressed. Next time Im in NY it will be my first stop.

I was not impressed by the service. They rushed us through our meal, bringing the main course while we were still enjoying the appetizer even it was not as good compared to others I tried. They even took away a plate for the appetizer. Meanwhile, another customer nearby was treated like royalty, with each course served at a leisurely pace.

The presentation of the food was impeccable. It was very delicious too.

Had a steak for lunch. Priced at 34 to 35 dollars for 8 oz steak with sides. It was satisfying for price. Service was overall okay too.

I was excited to eat here, it was Saturday night we were able to get seated quickly. My female friend and I put in our orders immediately. We waited for our meals 40 mins. We never received our appetizers and the entrée meal arrives first. I tell our server that my drink hasn’t arrived yet he looked at me like if I was annoying him for reminding him I never received my drink. It took 20 mins to get my drink he said the bartender forgot to make our drinks. I reminded him my appetizer never arrived and he told me the chef made a mistake and he had to redo. We finished eating our entree meal, I was extremely disappointed and asked for the check because the lack of service. He brought the check and tried to charge me for the items I never received so I explained I never got it and he removed it. He tells me oh sorry about your appetizers went to another table that’s the chefs fault. We felt he cared poorly for our table and I chose not to tip the server. I felt very discriminated. The irony of it all the tables next to us had arrived later than us and their meals were received without an issue. I definitely don’t recommend this restaurant due to poor service.
