Soccer bar with good food but poor service. It took a long time standing in the front just to get someone to seat us. Place was fairly empty. 10-15 minutes after getting a table, I had to go back to the bar to get drink service and request a server for ordering lunch. The food was really good, french onion soup and turkey brie sandwich were really good once we finally got to order. Id have rated higher but the service from start to finish was pretty bad.
The barman was great - fast service, super friendly, and mixed good cocktails. The ambiance was really good. But the food was a huge disappointment. I ordered beef sliders with french fries, and the best part about it was that the fries were freshly fried. No sauce. The sliders were way too greasy, seeping out fat. The taste overall was weird, as if the meat wasnt fresh. My stomach was complaining for the rest of the night unfortunately
Cheese nachos and artichoke spinach dip was yummy. Also the strawberry margarita was totally awesome. The vibe here is really chill and hip. Had a great time.
Ordered chicken tenders for my son, both he and the wife tried them and recognised it as fish. The way it broke apart wasn’t chicken like at all. When we raised it with the staff they gaslighted us and told us it was chicken breast. Very disappointed with the food, the service and experience. Would not recommend visiting and we most definitely will not be back.
Perfect NYC Boxing Day football venue…
Amazing football (thats the real soccer version) coverage! Couldnt believe the range of supporters clubs represented in the basement bar. Chatted to fans of Bristol City, QPR and Blackburn. Sutton Utd flags on the wall. Friendly and welcoming place and a brilliant spot to watch the match (although check opening times).
Went to every single Euro match here. Not just this time but for the last 10 years for World Cup too. Sometimes we were the only ones propping the bar up with 4 other people. Bar staff all knew us by name and were super good to us. Came to the final and even though we got there an hour early line was round the corner. One of the guys there recognized us and told us we could come in. Boss screamed us to the back of the line even though hes seen us like 30+ times. You literally squeezed out your best customers. Easy to take our money when nobody is there. Dont bother to have our backs otherwise. This place is dead to me.
All is good! 👍🏼Except old guy security in front of door 🚪african- american.I think he’s time is over.👎🏻Better going to replace him and retire. He’s thinking he’s the owner and boss there.:)Even managers i think scared and listened from him.Very rude and not polite and racist.🤌🏼👊🏼We’re coming to enjoy and spend time and $$$ to watch all games and events.,Boxing 🥊,soccer , basketball,ufc.,.,I hope this Saturday he’s off or something.,
Great bar to enjoy games service is great. Food isnt the best. I would definitely go back for just the drinks.
Went to a retirement party here and it was great! The food and drinks are delicious. Will certainly go back on my own WONDERFUL SPORTS THEME
Great food, great service. Been going there for years. Its one of my go to places. Cant go wrong.
They have a live DJ, the music is good. The drinks were reasonably priced, the space didnt look it from the outside but inside it was very big. Upstairs and I believe they also had a downstairs section.
Excellent place for beer, food and watching sport. One of the best places in the City to follow european football.
Good Food, Good Service, Good Atmosphere! If youre looking for a place to either watch a sports game or gather with some friends, this is the place to go. I had the Tex Mex Burger (Im from Texas) and it was delicious. Friend of mine had the salmon and had zero complaints. Other foods that were brought out to other tables looked just as good. I would go here every time. Non biased, had several NFL games on.
This is a fun atmosphere and fun bar. We’ve eaten here a few times and mean the food is good. It’s nothing super special super traditional pub food. I definitely recommend going for a soccer game. The environment is awesome fun and exciting the only downfall you might not be able to get a seat. Especially on those days of both football and soccer. It’s quite overwhelming in here. But I have noticed a change that they’ve been opening up more seats for soccer fans on the weekends.
A cool bar to go and watch some sport, have a meal and just hang out in this grand old building. The food is extemely good.Highly Recommenced!
Be careful here. Decent bar food but we were taken advantage of with magically changing drink prices. We confirmed with our waitress that Jameson shots were $8.50 (per website updated price) and then we were charged $14 each (1oz shot). Bartenders and wait staff then added automatic gratuity and refused to acknowledge the discrepancy.
Great Irish / sports bar in Midtown. Really good atmosphere during World Cup matches. Beers are very expensive though.
Weird scenario - attempted to grab a quick drink with my wife about 8pm in a Saturday. No like when we arrived. The bouncer wasn’t going to let us in as we didn’t have ID (we are in our forties). Then we showed him a photo of our passports and he said we could go in. Then he asked if we were here for an event they were hosting and we said no, so then he said we couldn’t go in. A group of three people called us to one side as they had tickets for the event but they had also been refused entry. Very weird. Try elsewhere.
Visiting from London, we were on a search to find a place that was showing Palace v Arsenal. None of the other sports bars we found would show it (was on Peacock, a streaming service) but they were and the place was full of fans. Palace and Arsenal upstairs and a fantastically vocal Milan group (Bologna v Milan) in the downstairs bar. The service was warm and very attentive. Drinks and food arrived very quickly and we were always checked-in on. We only had a couple of standard apps, but we were there for the match more than anything. Very much a place to go for the game rather than the food, which is straighforward pub offerings and great for it. Theyre not trying to be anything that they arent and they cater to their audience really well.
Woof. It was Friday night and the tournament games were on. It was a light night at the bar. A little surprising for about 10PM in the largest city in the United States, but theres a lot of choices in Midtown.About 15 minutes later, it was pretty clear why people choose somewhere else. The prices are ridiculous, the bartenders are sullen, and happy to change the channel on the television when you are clearly watching it. Really, you turned off the NCAA tournament for the last 30 seconds of the Knicks game? Im not a fool, the Knicks rule NYC. But to leave it on for 20 minutes of postgame after a loss? Put the game back on.Id been looking forward to going here for a long time. Luckily, Ill be able to save money on my next visit.
My family and I visited this place to watch an NFL game, but they only had soccer on. Despite this, the owner and host were incredibly kind and went out of their way to set up a whole section upstairs just for the football game. We were treated with the utmost respect, the food and drinks were excellent, and the experience was unforgettable. If youre looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and great service, this is the place to go!
Legends bar has been fun the few times Ive gone. Bartender and waitress have all been great providing service. The food is still a bit up in the air but I recently tried their pasta (chicken pesto) and was pleasantly surprised how good it was, helped that the bartender also vouched for it after I ordered it. Its a midtown sports bar prices are gonna be standard for Manhattan. But the vibes were great so Ill be coming back here for big sporting events!
One of the best bars in Newyork. Huge atmosphere. Friendly staff. Fine food loved every minute. Thanks
I’m reading the reviews of how the owner is rude etc ? I’ve talked to the owner on many occasions and he has always been awesome. I love legends and the atmosphere! I’ve gotten into arguments with rival teams liverpool has been playing but nothing serious just rival banter it’s a great place. if you’re saying you’ll never come back you need to give it another chance. There’s not many soccer bars in nyc and everything priced is reasonable so stop complaining have a drink.
Rude bouncer, came for the Super Bowl. I walked in and told him I was meeting some friends, he looked at me and said “where are they” as if I would know when I just walked into the bar. He was extremely rude the entire time as I tried to be nice to him from the start. I ended up having to call my friend and have her explain to me where they were even though I told him the name for the reservation. We ended up leaving shortly after as it had set a bad mood to the night.
Lovely bar to grab a few drinks and, especially as a family with young adults! The only downside was the service from a couple members of staff. Despite this, I’d love to shoutout Fiona, who was very welcoming and friendly every single time! She provided great service and is a real asset to the business! Thank you so much Fiona for your great service.
Good meeting place after hours happy hour late night quick dining good service happy bartenders really good feel Theo they want you to be there
Is the best place, but with a really bad Led screen 1min late from the actual game, idk if they dont care or no technical support ? But it is bad for the same place watch TV and them the Led screen 1min later so bad
Good food, good atmosphere. Staff are attentive and nice.Beer battered shrimp was excellent
If you are looking for a perfect place to come see a game, the atmosphere and excitement at this place is great! You will hear all the excitement and enthusiasm of the game, definitely makes the game that more exciting while being here. There are different areas where you can sit and enjoy and you will always be seeing a TV screen. They have good customer service from start to end. Host quickly found an area for our big party, truly made us feel welcomed. We were constantly being asked if we needed anything. Our waitress was amazing, very kind, she made sure we had water and even charged our phones! Waitress was very patient and gave us enough time for us to place our order. Thank you for being so nice!Drinks are good! We ordered several cocktails and beers, I really enjoyed the Strawberry Margarita and the Moscow Mule. Our meals were great! The taste was perfect! We had a good time while being here.🍸🍺🍻⚾🏈📺🍷🍔🍗
My friends were inside and had a table to watch a soccer game but when me and another friend got there they didn’t let us in because it was too full. It looked packed inside so that’s fair! Until a guy that comes after us and talks to the 2 security guards for a long time and he ended up getting in. We waited for 45min and we didn’t get in, but the guy who was waiting with us and got to the line after us and after other people as well somehow they let him in. The security guards couldn’t really explain why! That definitely didn’t look fair!
Went quick and left
I was verbally assaulted by the owner of Legends today. He aggressively screamed at my table because we only ordered 2 plates of food for 5 people, and he demanded that we all order a drink and plate of our own or leave (after we had all attempted to order coffee and were told that there was no coffee or tea left). The place was empty and we were simply trying to enjoy the match in the morning without drinking alcohol. Extremely disappointed as we’ve been going here for years to watch Prem matches and have spent plenty of money doing so. Will not be returning. I suggest taking your money to many of the other bars in the city playing Premier League matches.
Good place for drinks and watching the game, food is decent
I’ve have come to this place for over 5 years I haven’t been here for almost a month and I have to say I’m disappointed. I have no idea why this place is now charging surcharge for credit card and they never did before plus the bill came all the way up to $500 plus they said and I quote “Please note, we impose a surcharge on credit cards that is not greater than our cost of acceptance. It is 2% of your balance due” what the heck is your cost of acceptance??! Is it $1000 or more??!! Absolutely not right I feel you guys are just lying and just taking advantage of charging people extra and if I’m getting charge surcharge for every time I buy something from you guys then it’s just not worth it in the long run. There are way better bars for soccer in nyc.
One of the best bar foods I ever had. Try Chili and Irish Curry.
The great place to watch the Oregon duck football team play
Having visited on two separate occasions there is no reason to grab a drink here unless you want something nearby and fast. The fact I will note is the staff is friendly and attentive. However, all I can advise is to not order anything other than a beer. I ordered a Moscow mule and was delivered a strange variant which likely was just ginger ale and vodka. On another occasion I was seated outside near an individual who had passed out and likely urinated in the seat. Perhaps this is a good bar for viewing a game but aside from that I simply cannot recommend this location.
Unfortunately, we were not treated well. We had before the journey from Germany to NY, by e-mail a table for the finals Superbowl reserved and also confirmed. We should be there before 5 pm, which we did. At the entrance we were told that nothing is reserved. The waiter quite sympathetic and nice, still wanted to give us a table, because we also wanted to eat. The boss said directly arrogant no and did not want to hear anything, we showed the waiter the mail, the waiter could unfortunately do nothing because his boss only gives the tables from 4 people. The waiter is still talking to the boss, he just says, upstairs is a high table, they can go there.Too bad, were then on another sports bar, have clarified the situation and were directly helped on, although all tables were reserved.Sorry for my grammatical mistakes, my english is not so good
Called in for the Leeds United match whilst we were on a trip from the UK. Great staff, friendly manager who was always walking around chatting to folk. The beer was good and food was too. Downstairs is the football factory where the games and supporters clubs meet. A great place to come and a brilliant place to watch your team.
Great place to watch Fluminense football games, place Brazilians meet to watch football games, the food is very good, there are many beer options, very good service, great prices, it is located in the basement, very close to the Empire States, super recommend 10/10
By far the worst bar I’ve been to. Service is bottom tier. Food is okay. Wings are the highlight. But the service here makes the overall experience here not worth the price. There are better places.
Cold beer friendly staff and solid bar food
As a burger lover and critic, I would say that the Dubliner Burger I’ve tried here was absolutely amazing. Meat was juicy, flavorful, tasty. I honestly was not expecting such great food from them and was really surprised. The only disappointment for me was a $20 cover charge for the entree, which includes one free drink and which is much cheaper than $20.
I went to Legends for a group event. The entire place was pretty much shut down. They were requiring $20 drink or food minimum. Its a great venue for events. Large screens all over the place, chill atmosphere. I had the veggie burger and fries. That was under $20 and a mixed drink. Food wasnt bad despite a long wait. It couldve been the event, but it took a little over 30 min. The bartender at least made a decent mixed drink. I like the venue. The bar area has plenty of seating and the upstairs has comfy seating. Great place to see the games. I wouldve given it a higher rating if there were more veggie options, but its a pub so I suppose thats expected. I would still come back. Its one of the better sports bars in NYC.
Of course we had to visit Legends as its owned by someone back home from the next street to my mum and dads. The food was so good, drinks were quick and the atmosphere was amazing. Definitely check out this place of you are ever in New York Manhattan.
Good place to watch the games especially if you like them to play the sound. I wouldn’t get food here again though, it had little flavor.
Food was good but why charge us for refills on drinks? Plus JobberTears had me in tears because of the 35 person minimum and yet we got slapped with almost a 250 Dollars bill for 3 people NOT 4. Than we had security acting like a club and watching over us. Server Man had no personality and doesnt respond well even when we said thank you. Great Ppv of wrestling but idk if I can come back again. If I do I plan accordingly next time.
First time here, make sure you see erica the bartender (with the glasses) she was very attentive, informative, fast & friendly. highly recommend. this place has tons of TV’s to make sure you don’t miss a single moment of the action !
Went to see Juventus - Lazio with the Juve Empire State club and it was awesome!
This is the premier pub in New York City to watch a footie match (yknow soccer). Plenty of supporter groups meet here to cheer for their clubs, but anyone is welcome to enjoy the awesome sporting atmosphere.
Its a decent bar with decent food in the center of midtown. Plenty of TVs and still they keep a homely atmosphere. Prices are steep for entrees ($20-40) and some appetizers, but you can get 10 wings for $11 and a salad for about the same. Wings are pretty good at that. Not a bad option for dinner and drinks after work or before a show. I paid $70 for 2 people for one drink and dinner each.
So I cant be too negative on Legends because it is great having an LSU bar in Manhattan. However... one of the bartenders who works there on weekends might be the absolute worst bartenders ever. She wont remember your name no matter how many drinks you order and how few customers there are. Whats the name on that tab again? She also only gets the drink order right about 50% of the time... even if it is a beer.Their food is also awful. THE MOST DISGUSTING BUFFALO WINGS EVER. And Im not being picky about bar food. Just absolutely inedible. However, they do a great job of decorating for LSU events, let the alumni association run the sound and their bouncer is great and walks through the bar yelling Geaux Tigers. Not the worst.
Nice, chill place to drink and watch a game. Great service and decent food.
Cool place for soccer, but the bill prices were higher than what the printed menu said… which was also higher than the menu prices on their website. On top of that, there’s an mentioned credit card charge. Feels like you’re getting nickel and dimed, but in a deceptive way. I’d also stick to beer, because their drinks were terrible. And the food is pretty mediocre. Plenty of other places for soccer, I’ll skip this next time.
Food was okay. Wine is ridiculously expensive. $12 a glass for 4 oz. Service was awful. We ordered 2 entrees and 2 appetizers and the entire meal took 2.5 hours. That was because the wait staff didn’t show up again to provide the check and never came back after delivering the meal. If ever there was a time I wanted to just walk out on the bill that would have been it.
Awesome sports bar for any sporting event. I liked downstairs for crowd and lots of energy. Crowded and busy place. Entry queue was big by 7 am for world cup soccer final!!! Had a blast.
Its the best bar around to watch soccer any time of the day. Can get crowded during big matches, standing room only and lines out the door even, but it makes for a unique atmosphere to watch with so many passionate fans for clubs around the world that you may not find at another bar in NYC or elsewhere around the world even.
Fast service and delicious chow. GEAUX TIGERS!
Hands down the best bar to watch any kind of game. Even in a crowded day/night the service is pretty good. Drinks always on point. They open I think at 11 am but if theres a game at 8 they will open at least half hour earlier. They dont include gratuity and I honestly think they should since a lot of tourist come here and they dont know how underpaid are our servers in America therefore they also dont know how tipping works.
Great service overall. The bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers are on point and the bartenders are constantly making sure everyone at the bar are properly served.
Very good restaurant. Pricing isnt that bad and the food is amazing. I got the Dubliner burger and the quality was fantastic. Waiters and waitresses were kind and welcoming. Highly recommend, will definitely be back.
I really love the atmosphere and decor of this place. It doesnt look like a typical watering hole. It doesnt have that alcoholic look. It actually has this Cheers feel to it. Oh yeah, really great bar food. Just best to pay to in cash though.
Small restaurant on W 33th street. 25 usd for each steak.
Zero Stars. Absolutely terrible service from the two female bartenders on the main floor.I went to this bar for AEW Double or Nothing 2022. I ordered a drink and food. I saw that everyone else was getting their food before me. I asked the bartenders about my order and She said When you ordered their was a rush of orders and your might have got skipped. My order was just tater tots. I literally heard her say to the other bartenders I forgot to place the order and laughed about it while walking away. I already waited an hour and just asked to just close my account. Then still tried to charge me for the tots I never received. One of the ladies tried to make a big deal when I asked why im still getting charged for the tots if I never received them. Her words were oh so we should just throw the food away now. The food was never made so how are you throwing it away?I will never come back here. Terrible bartenders and just plain rude.
They don’t know how to operate TV’s … but they figured it out eventually-great job team!
I love this place! Service is spot on. I was here for the Superbowl and they handled the crowd perfectly. I never waited for a refill. They never acted to busy to help me. The crowd was fun, and the atmosphere is great. Drinks are fairly priced, tasty. Had a great time!
Had the Dubliner. Dry aged beef with bacon and cheese. Holy COW was this burger delicious. It was cooked to perfection, juicy, and flavorful. The atmosphere was great! There happened to be a premier league game on and all the Leicester City fans were in there cheering for their squad. The waitress was very nice and put us in a more secluded corner knowing that we obviously wanted to converse and not just watch the game. Food was timely, well done, and the staff was great.
Service was great. The food was good until I got the Turkey burger which isn’t shown here. Tasted old. However would come back definitely a great vibe and place to watch what’s on. They also have plenty of TVs
Terrible service, took over an hour to get drinks we ordered when we got there. No silverware, medium rare steak was cooked well well done. 30 dollar piece of shoe leather. Go somewhere else
Was the 1st time @Legends. Enjoyed the atmosphere, food and drinks were excellent as well-Starters Beer Recipe Rings, Classic Burger; Cosmopolitan and a Heineken draft. 👍🏿
Easily one of the best places in the city to watch any sport but soccer especially.
I loveeee this bar!Well made drinks, good prices, EXCELLENT SERVICE!I had visit this bar on Monday nights , weekends and when a boxing fight is happening. Every single time is a great experience. Jamesy (I hope Im spelling the name right) is a great bartender , always very attentive and super friendly .
Service was good and hence 3 stars. Drinks were $15 each and while the ingredients said Grey Goose, they tasted watered-down. It felt like we were paying $15 for lemonade. Gratuity is automatically added so add more tip on your own discretion. Location is pretty good since they are right by Empire State Building which may explain the likely touristy approach.
Fantastic bar for English Championship EFL soccer games. Great for Crystal Palace fans too and some other lesser known EPL Premier teams. Great atmosphere on match days. Staff are great too.
Good sportsbar to catch a game. This bar is pretty spacious and has room at the bar, upstairs and in the dining room. While TVs are keeping sports fans on their toes, bartenders are ready to serve anything from beer to liquor to bar food to keep the fans entertained. If you are not a big sports fan, you can enjoy the dining room, which is somewhat distanced from the bar area, and just enjoy the company of your friends. Nothing too special about the bar, but it has enough room to fit your friends.
Theres a reason this place was voted the best soccer bar in the country. On game days, the atmosphere is the closest you can get to actually being in the stadium. Supporter groups from teams in England, Spain, Germany, Italy, MLS, among others come here to cheer their team on and taunt their rivals. All friendly, of course. There are 3 floors with TVs everywhere so you always have a good view of the game. Multiple games on all at once too.The staff is quick and friendly and know their stuff. This place is a must for my friends and I before taking the nearby PATH train to Red Bull Arena.
Good sports bar with good beer selection. Almost every TV had the basketball game which was a bit odd given there are so many teams. Good bear selection but no soap in the bathroom. How do the staff wash their hands when there is no soap and no it was not just out of soap. There was no dispenser!!!!
The placement of the TVs is a little bit weird; theyre everywhere. There is one big projection screen but not everyone has a view of it. I only had fries here but they were good. Pretty good service. Id go back.
Nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Go-to spot to watch the Villa, and really any other major football ⚽ match. Dishes are English-American-pub-style and drink selection is decent
Nice bar but 8.00 for a draft beer is close to strip club prices!!
Nice sports bar, good food
Sat down and took us 25 minutes for a waitress to come see what we wanted. After we ordered our drinks it took another 15 minutes for our beers to arrive. Finally when we wanted to pay no waitress or waiter came over to help. They seemed disorganized and overwhelmed. Was extremely disappointed in service because the venue seems really cool but I will never be visiting again.
Excellent sports bar with a cellar dedicated to Football (Soccer, if you like). The food is tasty and the ambient is awesome, specially when one of the houses teams is playing (PSG, AC Milan and some other smaller clubs).Have come many times and will keep on going.
Good place to watch games but food wasn’t good atall. The artichoke dip was super dry and tasteless, served with pita bread making it impossible to pick up any of the dip. Calamari was ok. Wouldn’t return for the food. Overall ok spot. Good crowd for soccer games though
Average food, a little loud for my taste, 19 dollar hamburger fair at best. In midtown I expect over priced, but in a sports bar I expect really good burgers. The fries were good.
If your looking for that traditional new york bar you found with Legends. Located on the Westside within walking distance of Penn Station and macys. A spacious cool environment; to escape from the heat. Legends offers up a variety beers and good food. Stop in.
Terrible experience with a rude staff during UFC 299. First I asked for a Red Bull. They brought dirt Red Bull. I asked for a regular. They said there are no more. The picture below shows they had plenty. And for some odd reason refused to give it to me. Then I asked for a coke no ice instead. They brought it with ice. When I asked them for one without ice. They said ask the next server. The next server said the same. Then finally the last one took it with an attitude and finally brought me this flat soda. I don’t get what I did to be treated this way. Paid cover to get in too. Absolutely disappointed.
I live in the area and this is my usual go-to sports bar. I come here mainly for the Football Factory as this is the best football (soccer to you yanks) pub in New York City (probably North America). They usually open about 30 minutes before the first kick-off of any day and what a better way to start your weekend than a pint at 7:30 in the morning. All the fan clubs congregate here on match days and on big game days, this place gets packed. They have a decent selection of beers and other drinks, but I do think some of their stuff is watered down. Not a big deal when Im there to tell off those bloody United fans anyways.GO NEW YORK BLUES.
Great place to grab a drink and some grub if you enjoy a lively American sports bar. We went before a New York Rangers game and ended up back here at the end of our trip too! Great atmosphere!
Was here with a group of colleagues after dinner tonight. The staff would not serve my friend, for literally no reason, He was stone sober. This was my first experience at this bar and a horrible one. We and our dollars will not return to this substandard midtown trash bar.
Worst experience of all time, bouncer is a despicable, irritable, power hungry, individual. He doesn’t allow anyone who isn’t vaccinated in the US to enter. So much for appealing to tourists. Absolute shambles of a bar.
Great place if you love soccer, tvs everywhere . Great food too.
Great place to watch soccer games from pretty much all the leagues in the world. Make sure that you get there early, like 45 minutes early, when its a big game. Because it gets packed big time. Food is standard pub fare.
Best pub for football!
Festive, great choice of drinks, plenty of space. Did not feel too loud but the atmosphere was really fun. Great decorations for the holidays and location is so good.
My job often rents out the basement or top floor for celebrations or holiday parties. Nice environment if you enjoy pubs. large, spacious, the food is tasty.
I visitied Lgends Bar on Monday 21st Nov to watch a World Cup MatchWhile watching i ordered two drinks from the bar for around $9 adding a $1 tip after paying via chip and pinA day later i have been charged over $100 for these two drinks - after contacting the bar via multiple avenues i have receive no responsePlease beware that this establishment is tampering with tips and charging customers extortionate amounts
Charging cover to watch a game just because your name has rep, even when it’s a quarter full inside is pretty goofy. It’s fun when it’s fun but if you just wanna watch a game there’s a million other spots with good prices and tvs
Nice bar, lots of tvs. Good for sports. Upstairs section has its own bar and some more intimate seating. I went there with friends I hadn’t seen in a long time and it was a nice spot to drink and catch up.
Directly across the street from the Empire State Building. Really good Moscow Mules. You have to try the loaded tots!
Legends was cool. Just wish they knew what tater tots were actually. They found a way to do bar food not well. The atmosphere was great but the snacks are overpriced. Soooooo.... Ill go back but Ill eat before I arrive.
A great place to watch any football [soccer] game playing anywhere in the world, at any time, ever. Robbie and the legend that is Jack are the perfect tag team. This bar hosts USA soccer fans too. On top of that it hosts a self proclaimed awful movie night and a monthly FIFA tournament. Top soccer bar in the city.
Large sports bar across from Empire State Building. Plays good music, great service from Jameson at the bar. Came in after 9, had fried shrimp, it was terrible.
This is mostly a soccer bar, where there isnt a wide selection of draft beer. There are eSports events as well, with decent turnout. However, the viewing experience was terrible since they could not fix/unwilling to handle the technical issues, including ordering faster internet to support 1080p, sound systems so that the user could hear, and televisions to support HD. Food was okay, as I order the appetizers. Only go here if youre with friends and watch eSports.
This place is 7 dollar for a coke before tax
Cool sports bar.
Great Irish pub with great food and service.
Asked for wel done steak but received rare. Waitress never came over to see if we were pleased. Had to get up myself for tomato sauce.Wouldnt go again. .
If i could give it negative stars i would just because of our server Jackie, she absolutely butchered our order, and bill , aside from giving attitude throughout the entire experience. Told her we need to receive the bills quickly because we were in a rush and i had to hound her down 20+ minutes after her disappearance only to find out that she messed up the charges AGAIN! No apology, no remorse, its disgusting that i even had to give her an included tip. Had we not been in a rush i wouldve have argued for our charges and even then it wouldnt have justified the inconvenience her service caused us.... will never return and i pray she finds a new profession. What was supposed to be a a fun game turned into a nightmare
This LSU bar is cool. Lots of TVs and the decor make you feel like your in Louisiana. Couches upstairs and tables and a large bar on the main floor. The food was good too.
The doorman @ The Empire State bldg recommended this place. Should’ve know better but oh well…live and learn. I was there around 4pm on a Friday. The bartender was not friendly and took her own sweet time to even acknowledge me. On top of that the lights were so bright they must’ve been on retina kill mode. So I just tried to make the best of “not feeling this place” and drank my $8 Brooklyn Lager.I asked Miss cranky if she could play some music instead of the Soccer news channel (no game just news). She looked at me with a scowl and said NO people are watching this. Funnily the two guys sitting next to me backed me and told her “yeah let’s hear some music)She just turned around and walked away and so did I…..
Awesome food the pan Tuna dish was mindblowing. Sadly the service was Rude gave me the check and force me to pay while i was watching a football game. It didnt matter i order two main courses, 2 draft beers and 2 sodas. Sadly Rude service at the end
The most friendliest veteran bar in NYC!!!!
This pub is beautiful, and really big! Every seat has a great view of one of the many!!! TVs I let Rosie choose a tap beer for me when I told her what I was going for. She nailed it! I highly recommend this bar, especially if you like football or soccer. Cheers!P.s. The food looks great too.
Went to watch the Wilder Fury fight. Paid $20 to get in but the atmosphere is exactly what you would expect. Great crowd the bartenders are on top of the drinks the price, well their NYC prices. I would go back
Fabulous atmosphere especially when all the local NYC supporters clubs of the EPL, Ligue 1, Bundesliga, La Liga, Serie A, teams are watching their games and enjoying themselves. Have ALL the channels even for the hard to get / impossible to get matchesStaff is fantastic. They are legit / real football guys (not just pouring) and very attentive. This is the place to see a match.Cannot comment on food, as usually only having a pop or two or three.....Tres Bon!
Good place if you like sports. Loads of screens to watch. Beer and food for ok prices, and smart waitresses. The only downside was the troglodytes yelling and bawling in front of the sound american soccer game while we trided to watch the UFC.
Went there to watch LSU game.Service and food was good.Atmosphere was unbelievable.Could have done better with not playing music, etc. through the commentary of the game.
20$ only to get in the pub whenever there is an important football game.Really overrated since it’s not like there were loads of people in the pub. Lots of people didn’t come in especially because of the entrance fée.
Great place to catch a game. Love that they play the sound for Knicks games. The TVs are massive. Good food and drinks!
Awesome place. We met the owner through a friend and his bar/restaurant met every expectation. I absolutely love the feel in these dive bars. The food was fantastic and the service was top notch! Thanks Liam for being so kind to us. Next time were in New York well be back!
The staff was great and Attentive the Atmosphere was great, great music and t vs all over the place for all the games to watch
The best bar in New York. Excellent hospitality, great bar tenders, great food and people. Thank you for welcoming this traveler.
Outstanding sport bar. Cover paid .
Scenery is great, drinks are good. But dont come here for the food. Terrible taste. We had the shepherds pie, and a burger. Burger had no flavor in spices but definitely tasted over crisped. Shepherd pie, tasted like they just threw random seasoning in there with one dominating more than the other. Fries are not fresh but frozen
There was $10 cash cover to enter. The person at the door didnt even know whether our game was on.No service, only self-service at the bar.The basement is cavernous, and you couldnt watch more than one match. There are better alternatives (unless youre partisan and your NYC fan club is unfortunate enough to be based there).3 stars because of the atmosphere.
Solid sports bar, especially good destination for EPL and Champions League games. Can be hectic but good service generally.
All the Premier League matches shown on a variety of large screens in areas separated by enormous club flags. Lots of Toon Army NYC representation. Good selection of beers at $5 each.
Great time at the bar outside. Staff came around frequently and the drink menu was well stocked. Shout out to Mickey the bartender. His Moscow Mule’s were really well mixed.
Absolutely love this place! Our go to for the games. Super friendly bartenders and owners as well.
As a Leeds fan, I had an absolute blast in here watching our game against Brentford. Good hearted atmosphere without the usual hooliganism football sometimes causes. Would recommend for Brits abroad looking for a spot to watch games.
This is one of the best spots in NYC to catch a soccer game, especially early morning on the weekends. the food is so-so, and the crowd can get rowdy -- but its always a good time!
Very cool idea for haggling out with friends and family very friendly people and places wonderful food and drinks
The soccer atmosphere was great and the food all right…The service was not the best though
Awesome old school ritzy club atmosphere. They have 3 bars! The main bar is regular sports, the bar downstairs is soccer, and the bar upstairs is smaller and computer with couches like a VIP section.
Great food, nice personel. (bouncer is a cool guy)
This bar is the worst ever! Worst drinks, worse foods, terrible security guards that treat you like garbage, specially if you’re not American. I don’t recommend this place and I would tell you: DONT COME HERE! It’s a waist of time and money.
Nice restaurant to have a glass of wine, the menu consists of your usual American fare with a few standout (and not so American) items .The bartenders are attentive and the bathroom is clean.
Great Bar lively atmosphereTasty food, Great Steak.Football Factory ⚽️ was wonderful to see and experience
This place is hands down the best place in the city to watch football or soccer as it is known to most people. Jack, the bartender downstairs, manages to bartender almost all by himself. I can not say enough about this place
The bouncer was super aggressive and very disrespectful. The bar ran out of limes and mezcal. But that can happen but the bouncer issue was very over the line I wish I could have taped him. Be careful.
Humiliating experience!!!! Today December 2 (I’m mentioning this because the guy at the door refused to give me his name) a guy who work at the door (tall African American ...again he denied his name) he was rude and aggressive..... no just with me but with a female and her boyfriend that was at the door.... pushing people and yelling...there was no line or reason to be aggressive with us or any other people that was there....we wasn’t drunk... i know i wasn’t because i got there 20 minutes before he PUT HIS HANDS ON ME... i was downstairs and i went out because there was no signal and i needed to make a phone call .....we asked for the manager and thats he pushed us.... the person in charge of the event downstairs (Argentinian last party of the year) came out to see what going on because people alert her of the situation and he was super rude, laud and disrespectful with her too..... completely unacceptable.....from any point of view.....we didnt call the cops because the girl that puts the event together is a friend of us....I’m not coming back and i hope the management of the bar take matters into your own hands before the same situation that happened to me happens to another person.....
Perfect environment for sports events and big tables for big groups. Great assortment of comfort food and beer. Friendly staff make it for a very comfortable setting.
Horrible experience...went there to watch the Alabama vs Georgia SEC Championship game.....asked multiple times for them to put the game on one of their multiple TVs and just got lip service...sports bar??? Food okay.......took waitress 45 minutes to come back and check on us... never going back to the place.
Bouncer was incredibly rude to everyone. A total jerk. But seemed to take big tips toLet people in.
Very nice. 3 levels at this bar/restaurant. Street level entrance. Basement level and upper level. Each level has its own bar. Clean bathroom. Very nice and helpful hostess and waiters.
A great sports bar for all sports events: soccer, basketball, and of course college football! Great and quick service. Definitely try the house tots.
Cool place to hang have something to eat and watch sporting events.
Really, really good burgers!
Good place to watch sports. Plenty of TVs. Booth seating. Happy hour. Two blocks from the 34th Street Herald Square subway station.
I enjoyed my time at Legends. From the moment I entered I liked how welcoming most of the waiters and waitresses were. It was a pretty lit bar with many people getting amped up for the games going on which made it fun. Overall, I liked the Irish Mule and beers I ordered.
This place has a ton of TVs to watch the big games, especially soccer!! Although I didnt order the food, the wings and quesadillas that my friends ordered looks really good!
If you like watching sports and are into live sporting event ,pay per view this is the place to go to. Big atmosphere great environment people are really nice and the place is very clean.
If you ever come to NYC please stop here, the bartender Emmett makes you feel welcome and home. Such and amazing place.
Proper football pub, but go downstairs and say hello to Jack in the football factory for the best atmos. Downstairs is a wall to wall football shrine and they show every game broadcast, at whatever time of day
Cool place bartenders were very friendly made excellent drinks the waiter not so much no water on table no napkins or utensils went missing for good 40 minutes other then that food was good and cocktails were fantastic!!
Went there to watch Community Shield game between Manchester United and Leicester City. Had an amazing time. It is much better if you get there half an hour before the game.
Totally drunken waitress, wrong beers, no Covid Check at all. Never again . We left after 15 Minutes
Sports bar is very nice !!
Went there for a farewell party.upstairs.many cozy couches and seating.great for mingling.music was not overpowering your conversation.dim lighting.bathroom downstairs and only 1stall not good when your having drinks.i heard lower level was nice too.more tables than seating but able to host a Christmas party.
Great host makes a great place, thank you Natalie for your hospitality and kindness. South Carolinians rule!
A dark and intimet pub/lounge. Good pub food. A little loud for me, but not overvhelmining. Second floor has soft seating.
Great spot for UConn Basketball fans and games. Great service and generosity
Great atmosphere. Cool little nooks all around the place that cater to any type of hanging-with-friends atmosphere youre looking for.
Great place to watch sports especially football (soccer) downstairs in the football factory
Love this place to death first place i ever went to for drinks and 10 years later still go there this place is great for party and just when u wanna grab drinks aftere work and watch all the sport the bartender know it all and are the best tip them well and enjoy frre drinks
Went to watch an LSU baseball game and the staff over looked me for 10 minutes. The waiters at the restaurant walked right passed me knowing I had not been service and did not approach me until I mentioned my wait time while they were serving a group of white people that just walked in and sat next to me, which they did immediately after they came in.
Wow, went to see the first Giants game of the season and they had no waitresses. Also they screwed up my order. Didnt know when you ask for a salad with chicken, they dont know how to do that.
I was there last year with Korean friend, we were watching e-sports (Starcraft 2), the atmosfere was electric, very nice place perfect to watch any event of your desires.
Went this place walked half a mile in the rain. They were charging 20 dollars for a cover. Unless there is live music for a band I want to see or it’s a strip club im not paying a dime for a cover.
LSU! If you are a LSU fan, this is the hangout to go to. During any LSU game, everyone goes here. Great atmosphere, food, and drinks. Go Tigers!
Cozy place to eat and drink a fair price. The special menu is fantastic. Super fast in place your order and serving. Very delicious. The cocktails recommended.
Great place to watch sports especially soccer games! No happy hour when they have a viewing of important games (ie. World Cup Qualifiers)
Just got done watching a Fulham FC game here. It was way beyond expectations. If youre looking for real football, this is your place.
Great place. Portions of food were large! Gentlemen at door made sure that our Uber did not leave. Much appreciated!
Went to watch a game, left all bruised up after being beaten up by the security guard. Don’t go to this place unless you want to have the worst day of your life, because thats what they did to me.
Typical midtown bar. Wouldn’t recommend it for people who live in or around the city. It is fine for sports events and people getting off work.
Solid sports bar. Frat boy / Murray Hill crowd but to be expected given event (World Cup) / location.
Great brownsbackers bar upstairs with a cozy living room setup to chill and watch the game with other brownies. They play other games too.
Legends is the best💯💯💯Great Service, food and drinks!!!Ive been going there for 16 years💥💥💥
Decent drinks.. great atmosphere. A lot of fun. Chicken wings were really good
Great sport bar to watch a game. Had draft beer and some drinks. Bar tenders were very effective and friendly.
Best Soccer Bar in Town. Weekend morning atmosphere is crazy! The food here is great as well.
The place is great, but you dont go there for the food
Amazing place to have fun. Great food and great staff. Tons of TVs for sports.
Good food, lively crowd, plenty of TVs to watch sports. Especially love the monthly wrestling viewing parties.
Great sports bar for football (futbol/soccer), NFL, NCAA, and other events. Food is great, too!
How is one glass of coke $7? That is just insane.
THE place to watch Utd in New York
Great customer service.
Nice bar. Good selection of drinks. Service was good.
Good spot to watch sports, not as crowded as I expected during March Madness.
Good spot, but the service seemed overwhelmed.... May need more help there for tables service or something....It shouldnt be that hard to ask for napkins..
Nice bar with Truly on draught.
Its an amazing place if you wish to see football on a Fri evening! We had superb food and enjoyed our time here. A great place if you want to catch up with the evenings sport n enjoy a grt time with friends.
Overpriced, tasteless bar food, they even charge a 20$ entrance fee to watch soccer games
