Walked in on a late Friday evening to find newly hired Luis behind the bar. He made me a specialty cocktail after expressing my preferences and he concocted a spectacular Whiskey cocktail that really left me speechless. Not only was he talented but he was incredibly hospitable, maybe it’s because he’s from the neighborhood.Needless to say, I’ll be back for the drinks, service, and vibes as they call it now a days.

The hotdogs are great here- I got the Japanese Dog and it was a unique and fun flavor with interesting toppings. If you go, don’t skip out on the waffle fries. The house sauce was great too !!

Service is super slow and the bartenders are super disorganized and rude. The bartenders were very slow and at one point confused which drinks went to which tabs, even though the place was not very busy. The ambiance was dark, but noisy. A friend ordered a hot dog but the portion received was very small for the price. One of the bartenders came up to me, physically tapped me on the shoulder, and complained that he was not satisfied with how I tipped, telling me that he hopes I never come back and hopes to never visit where I work. While I always tip 20%, the service here was remarkably poor and was an exception to what I usually do. The unprofessional and petty response from the bartender to physically touch me and complain about the consequences of his poor performance is appalling. I will not be going here again. Instead, I recommend nearby dives that are far more welcoming like Earls, Guthries, or Riefs.

Every time I come to this bar, it’s like the bartenders just doesn’t want you in there. Stopped by tonight around 12am even though online says they close at 1am, there was still a crowd in there drinking, so i figured I’d have 1 scotch and leave. But the bartender just seemed frustrated that I walked in. By his attitude I can tell he didn’t wanna serve me so I decided to just leave.

A no frills neighborhood bar that just opened up. They are well priced compared to the rest of the bars nearby. The kitchen specializes in hot dogs and they have quite a lot of variety. Worth giving a shot if youre in the area

I have only been in the area for about a month and I could say with certainty I will be going back to this bar anytime I want to enjoy great drinks and not to mention a welcoming staff!Up and coming bar that needs to be put on your bar crawl list! Good vibes, good music, good times!

Nice , convenient spot near mass transit, with hot-dogs-exclusive menu and a rotating selection of craft beers and basic hard liquor selection. Outdoor seating is ample, but it’s an extremely noisy, uninspiring ambiance (buses, sirens, and traffic abound). Service is hit and miss; prices are midtown high rather than East-Harlem reasonable. It’s a tough neighborhood for good pub options, but Rief’s (classic dive bar) on 92nd and Merion Square on 95th are better, or at least equivalent options. Earl’s Beer and Cheese (on Park) is just a block away and vastly superior in every way (beer, food, crowd, vibe). I won’t be going back to LexPub after 3 or 4 visits.

Was starving so I checked the menu and was disappointed to see pretty much only hot dogs. Then I ordered the lamb merguez one and it was one of the best things (let alone “hot dogs”) I’ve ever had! This place is great

The bar is good. I have no complaints but the real standout is Kev the bartender who served me this one fine Friday night. Kev was unbelievably attentive. There wasn’t a second in which I was considering ordering more that he didn’t anticipate that I may need something. Not only was he very helpful with the menu but he was helpful with life advice. I have been struggling to find a good relationship recently and Kev gave me the pump up speech I needed to believe that I was the desirable bachelor I thought I was. I’m walking out of Lexington Publick satisfied and feeling like I can wake up tomorrow the king of the New York.

Had a great time during our visit to Lexington Publick last night. We’ve been to many iterations of this space over the years, and we were looking forward to seeing what the group responsible for some of our favorite bars in the city (Third Avenue Ale House, Amsterdam Ale House, 4th Avenue Pub-BK) would do. Happy Hour hooked us with Modelo’s and wine on draft specials, we stayed until I couldn’t NOT have the sliders to soak up the local Vliet Pilsner I crushed. I looked over to see my wife and her friends drinking Mezcal that tasted a little too good, and decided it was time we head home … at 9:30pm. Russell, behind-the-bar/in-front-of-the-bar/below-the-bar (Wherever you looked!!) was a great host to our rowdy group! Thanks for a great time!

What does it take for lives that arent white to matter? Are people constantly referring to me as the Darker one or less dark??I realize this is my neighborhood and my local, but I draw the line when white bartenders that are maybe 21? Refer to patrons of the bar by the degree of how dark they are - to the Latino busboy.Did not think this bartender would take offense when I said Hey lets find other ways to talk about people... Like the shade of their Shirt.Easier to describe skin tones? This establishment will succeed or fail Without me.Also wondering why the same guy that comes into the bar / hes allowed to grope or grab women?Dont go here.So much more to share....so little time.Posting this on twitterGo to Earls. Better service, and nicer staff on the whole ☺️No for me, dawg#fightcolorism
