Ambiance 10/10Good 9/10Service 9/10I went after work at 8ish. There was a live jazz band playing, it was very nice. They also had cool lights that set the whole vibe. I was t too hungry so just ordered some cheese with bread and two cocktails. Definitely see myself going as either a chill night or recap with friends by the bar. Either way, I was definitely recommend this place especially for the neighborhood this is a gem.Overall 10/10.

Been here a few times now and the food, service, and atmosphere is the perfect combination. I would recommend this to anybody!!

This is one of my favorite coffee spots, absolute fave for atmosphere and delicious food/bring out-of-towners to a treat in Harlem. Lovely staff, live music nights and an adorable book share shelf.

This is my 3rd time here; this time I got here at 1pm. My friend came to meet me. No one came to the table so we went up to order- $51 for two fried chicken sandwiches and an expresso martini.We chatted for a few hours then she ordered a honey latte and I got a drip coffee for $12. They may’ve accidentally have her a Mike hot honey latte- idk cuz I didn’t taste it. My coffee was soooo biter. Gross.She left and another friend met me for happy hour- BOGO drinks from 5-6. The night staff is sooooo wonderful. Immediately they introduced themselves and told me it’s a new staff, menu and deals. The lights went down. It felt like a totally different place.Experience got a lot better- we ordered 4 drinks, a pizza and fries.

The restaurants decor was tranquil, with an infuse of plants comforting your eating experience.Natural lighting allows the establishment to be room temperature lit.The Harlem feel was established the meal did not disappoint.Outdoor seating is availableWe stopped by for breakfast and got two breakfast burritos 🌯 with eggs, potatoes, cheddar cheese, avocado, with turkey bacon 🥓. The burrito was healthy no additional seasoning or peppers. The hot sauce is needed. Pricing was $25 for two burrito breakfast which provided nourishment.The music and customer service was excellent the wait for items requested was a concern, but the decor made up for those concerns.The water was filtered the glasses clean.

The ambiance is great, chill bar/coffee spot. Customer service is great, waiter comp’d a drink for us because I made a mistake ordering within the specials. It was a great experience. Drinks are really good would come back.

Wow!! This place was so fabulous.. a hidden gem! We went for dinner and the owner helped wait on us and he was so so sweet. They had many pastas made in house and he brought us a sample of one that was so yummy! Also so yummy drinks.. many to choose from. I had a coconut water spritz something and I couldve drank a few more! Hope you have the opportunity to eat here! Also soooo cute vibes inside, ambient lighting on 10!!!! and plants. decorated so cute.

Lucille’s is a calm haven in a sunny, airy cafe. The food is delicious light fare (the breakfast sandwiches are out of this world), the coffee is authentic and the service is warm and friendly.

Came here with my partner to get some brunch. Unfortunately I missed their (famous) bagel, but got a fried chicken sandwich and a breakfast burrito. They were soooo good (especially the burrito with the sauce they give it with). We also had a coffee latte, which was pretty good. All and all 100% recommend this place for a chill time and breakfast

Been anxiously awaiting this place having food to try! Worth the wait. Got the shrimp and grits, jerk chicken tacos and the Mac and cheese. All were delicious! I’m unsure if they plan to expand the menu or want to keep it small and light and focused on cocktails in the evening (which I did not sample this go around) but either way I’m excited they are in the neighborhood!

This place was fantastic! I went for the Harlem Bomb Shelter open mic night and had an amazing time. The drinks were great! I had the wings that night and they were so meaty. I loved the atmosphere, it is a bit small, but not tiny. I hope to go for brunch next.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for awhile because it looks so cute but never got the chance. Finally decided today was the day to order some delivery and it was soo good! We had the guava waffle, açaí bowl and breakfast sandwich. Everything was good but that breakfast sandwich...that breakfast sandwich was AMAZING! Will definitely be a new go to in the neighborhood, can’t wait to try more dishes!

Lattes are great, bacon egg n cheese could use more bacon but still tasty. Good atmosphere and great place to relax. Wine here is great and friendly staff

Well designed, friendly, chill spot. First I tought were gonna have a lunch there but when we got there were like wait a sec. we can have lunch, drink some cocktails even a 4pm tea here! Cant believe places like this still exist in Harlem. I loved every single bit of everything.Muffins were tasty and fresh. Burrito wasnt the best but very juicy.Highly recommend if youre around.

One of Harlems best kept secrets. Lofty, living room vide. Wholesome, tasty breakfast menu. Good cocktails after 5pm. My only disappointment is that they changed the dinner menu, from Louisiana Southern comfort food, to pizza. But their pizza is also very good.

Stumbled upon this gem last Friday and ended up having the most fantastic afternoon getting stuff done. The vibes here are just 👌 Tried Lucille’s Breakfast and it totally hit the spot! Huge thanks for the awesome hospitality. Already counting down the days til I can come back for more and catch one of those live music nights! 🎶

So we spent 5 minutes here and immediately knew this wasn’t for us as food critics. We walked in and sat down wondering what was happening next. We were also wondering why a brunch spot was so empty on a Sunday in NYC. The woman and the man continued their conversation as though no one was there. So we looked around and waited. Then the woman said if you want to order come get a menu and then return to the counter to place your order. Why on earth would I come to your restaurant to walk to the counter to place my order when it’s a dine in setting? I can order food on DoorDash. If you don’t want to wait on us then just say that and we will give our business to a deserving restaurant. So my wife and I did just that, left and went to a restaurant that was happy for our business. If you want to be stared at and not served - come to Lucille’s.

Went here for brunch, had the shrimp & grits. The grits were nice & creamy & the shrimp were very tasty (sauce was a bit too salty but was ok for me). I also had a large Americano coffee. Very chill vibe, I definitely want to check them out during cocktail hour!

Took my parents here when I moved to the neighborhood and they were huge fans. I sometimes do my work there during the day and the staff are very accommodating. Great draft selection. Everyone behind the bar or serving has a smile on their face.🏆 to the chef. The food is incredible. I recommend chicken sandwich or literally anything on the brunch menu.

This is such a cool spot — a great place to work and have a coffee, or a fun place to get a drink with a friend. Pizza is delicious, cocktails are quality, and coffee is nice. The ambiance is killer too—with a massive tree inside, good music, and a cute outdoor area. On a really cute block, too. This is such an underrated spot!

The vibe here is very chill. Seems more like a coffee shop to me but still very chill and welcoming. The vodka pizza was good, lol it was a lot bigger than I expected but still good. The bartender also had a heavy hand 😉 so the drinks are very nice too. The area is pretty quiet too definitely a spot to go to chill on a weekday after work.

Lucille’s is a great choice for a tasty breakfast or lunch in Harlem. I’ve ordered from there a few times, and it was always made with fresh ingredients and lots of flavor. I usually get the Kale Salad with Salmon, Garlic & Parm Fries, and a Breakfast Burrito for brunch.

Really wanted to love this place but: 1) service is pretentious 2) first visit they told me I had to pay as I go for my drink while others were not asked (ps..Im a black male..not sure if thats why or due to point 1 above). Ive gone back to be fair to them and give it another shot.. They have very good alcohol selection and cool vibe. Hopefully, service becomes more friendly and customer-centric.

Such a beautiful dining experience. Even the bathroom feels homey. The food is colorful and tastes great...I enjoyed my meal. I was able to sit down and get a little work done too. Parking is a bit iffy though.....Definitely would recommend. Sidebar: the grits Is more cornbased. Not like your tradition grits, but it still taste good. Great experience.

Love this neighborhood cafe that hits all the boxes!Its a coffee/cafe vibe from 8am to 4pm and then transitions to a night/cocktail vibe.Its a bright, airy, and light space.Laptops are allowed by as of February 2024, laptops are no longer allowed Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 5pm.

This place is great they have good food, and the staff is amazing. The only issue I have their prices are kind of ridiculous. I wanted to order a can of Diet Coke, by itself and the total was $5.44…

The indoor space is beautiful and the staff is lovely (very patient and helpful with my indecision!). The coffee is really great. I had an iced americano that was so delightful. Black drip was also good but definitely get an espresso drink!!

Fantastic food. Everything we tried on menu is good. Watermelon salad, calamari, burrata. Super nice interior. New favorite restaurant. I wish beer menu had a lager and dark beer aside from Guiness, but minor.

There are cockroaches in the establishment. The staff did not immediately act upon the presence of cockroaches on the table gave me the impression that they’re fully aware of the situation but chose to ignore it. The food is mid. Not that many options for vegetarians.

I went to Lucille’s today and I was quite disappointed by everything. First, they don’t really service tables but they’ll accept a tip. We ordered our food and waited for over 40 minutes to finally cancel our order completely. The server was gracious enough to refund us our money without an apology nor an explanation except “we’re really busy.” Hmmmm it is Sunday brunch but I guess they were expecting it to be a slow morning? Well fix the situation - turn it around- at least give me a piece of toast and razzle/dazzle me with good customer service. Nope! My client is a food critic and Lucille’s scored a negative ZERO (or below).So, I will never go back to Lucille’s and I will tell others not to sacrifice their valuable time the way we did. We Left Lazy Lucy’s The Leader in Late Lunch Lousy Lounges only to go to Cafe Latte on Lenox and 118th. We were served a delicious lunch within 11minutes of our arrival (and they were busy too). Basically Lucille’s isn’t worth the WAIT nor the WEIGHT!

A true gem. Staff, food, drinks, everything is excellent. The space is gorgeous and welcoming. Easily one of my favorite spots in Upper Harlem.

I really do love working from here during the day. They have so many outlets, enough tables and they serve real food since they are actually a restaurant instead of just cakes like coffee shops do.

I was visiting my aunt in NY and we stopped by Lucilles. The cheesecake was delicious and so was our large cup of tea on a cold night!

It used to be very community base, friendly and food was great. Now they only cater to the white people in the neighborhood , the service is sad, the people behind the bar look miserable, the food has changed and it’s not good and over priced. huge disappointment now.

The best ambiance of the coffee shops in this area. It’s more of a hike to get to than manhattanville but it’s usually worth it for how chill it is. Like manhattanville, the coffee itself is terrible.

Great spot in Harlem for jazz food culture

Never again! Came here and was highly disappointed! The chicken was dripping in oil to the point where you held the chicken up and it was still dripping into the puddle of oil already on the plate and into the waffle. The girl behind the bar had a very snippy attitude and yelled “you’re welcome” across the room as I was leaving. The boy behind the bar however was very sweet and pleasant! I had really high hopes for this place and was extremely let down!!!

One of the best study cafes in the neighborhood! The interior is beautiful and the seating is very comfortable. Theres strong wifi and multiple outlets. Its a great place to study, catch up on a coffee date, or just sit at the bar seating and enjoy a drink by yourself.My only complaint is that some of the menu items were a bit pricey. The coffee is very good though, and the loaded lox bagel was delicious!

This place was awesome. Thought it was a little pricey but honestly the portions and flavor dont disappoint. Honestly the best fried chicken Ive had in a VERY long time crisp outside with a juicy AND fully cooked interior. The blueberry waffle was also delicious with the blueberries inside the waffle where they belong. Would definitely return 😁😉

If youre a little confused as to what Lucilles is, youd be justified. Is it a café? Is it a bar? Is it a brunch spot? Is it a restaurant? The truth is…its all of these things & they do it quite well. While Ive only been for brunch (so far), the food, cocktails & service were wonderful, & the atmosphere was laidback, but well curated. Looking forward to going back on Thursday, for coffee w/ a friend. The neighborhood definitely needs more places like Lucilles.Pictured: Açaí Bowl

Enjoyed a coffee meeting with a colleague here today on a lovely spring day. The sun and light in the space makes it a perfect place right now, especially since the open windows keep the air moving to reduce COVID risk. Staff always friendly.

Such a beautiful place for delicious drinks on a Sunday early afternoon

Ordered breakfast for pickup here because of highly rated reviews. I was disappointed because the avocado toast was full of leaves and tasted very plain like it was unseasoned. The acai bowl didn’t taste good rather weird and to think I paid $13 for a very small serving. My boyfriend ordered a chicken sandwich and he said it tasted “just ok” and the chicken was dry. Paid almost $60 for 2 sandwiches, an acai bowl and iced coffee. Def overpriced for mid quality. We waited about 40 mins. to receive our order as it wasn’t ready by the time we came to pick it up. I guess people come here for the “vibe” and not the food? It wasn’t worth it for the price. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I no longer live nearby but dream of them often - to have such a sweet spot to work during the day and pivot into fun casual meals and drinks at night? Truly a privilege and delight. Looking forward to making my way back when Im in the neighborhood!

I came here for the first time with a group of friends for an event. The atmosphere was lovely & comfortable. The only misfortune I had was with the food. I had a coca-cola beverage, mozzarella sticks, mac & cheese. The mac & cheese had too much oil and garlic in it however, the mozzarella sticks were absolutely delicious!

Thoroughly enjoy visiting Lucille’s as it’s never too busy, boisterous , or inconsistent in its service. You can meet friends here, work solo at the bar or at a table and enjoy an iced coffee until you’re ready for your BOGO cocktail at 5pm. 😌

Food was amazing. We had the artichoke pizza and I loved it. The day I visited they hosted an open mic type of show by Harlem bomb shelter and it was fun. I really enjoyed my time there and they also had discounted wine bottles.

Was told about Lucilles Coffee and Cocktails by a friend, as she insisted upon it as a meetup spot. Immediately a cool vibe, we met on a Saturday, early afternoon. The weather was nice, so the doors and windows were open.. letting the sun and fresh air in. Its a dog and family friendly spot, as you saw a little bit of everyone slide through there with ease; just happy to be in the space. As for the menu, it was cool. It presented nice coffee and tea options as well as cocktails and brews. Not too overwhelming and a good selection to choose from. I enjoyed a Tumeric Ginger Tea and my girlfriend, wine. We also ordered the Kale Caesar with Shrimp and Truffle Fries. All the food was good - and the portions respectable. We stayed a bit after our meal, chatted, enjoyed the ambiance and the Wifi - as its also a great place to whip out your laptop and get some things done. Overall, if Im in the area, Id definitely consider stopping in again. Oh and before I forget - they have a companion location 2 doors down that sells some of the best pizza Ive ever seen. So you can order from there.. then it will get delivered to your table in the cafe (if Im not mistaken). The pizza looked amazing, and when Im on that end of town again, Id definitely love to check them out and enjoy a dine-in experience.

I love this place and come here very frequently. This summer, I have been very disappointed. They have three fans, only two of which work. The ac is not powerful enough to cool the space. They informed us this has been an ongoing issue but there’s doesn’t seem to be any resolve or attention to how this impacts diners. On a 95 degree day, it feels as hot inside as it does outside. Not to mention the staff and kitchen who are working in insane conditions during these waves of intense heat and humidity. Unfair of this place— they should really have a sign that indicates what the conditions are inside. My table was not the only one to mention the heat inside. Come in ya’ll, you really have to do better.

These folks treat you like family! Drink service is so speedy (although food takes a bit longer). You can tell that these folks care about knowing there neighbors. It’s also a perfect spot to do some work/study, as they have ample seating and free wifi! I go out of my way to snag a drink/study time at Lucille’s!

Wow!!! Coffee-Baked goodies before 3PM and drinks-delicious food after 4PM it doesn’t get any better than this. The place is just awesome. They definitely know how to make cocktails, their “sup mang-o” is to die for. Sesame Kala Salad was very fresh and delicious as well. Staff is very friendly. Very happy that neighborhood has now amazing place to hang out!!!

Pretentious. Ive been coming here since this place was a Dollar Store. I had a punch card for a coffee and had it in my wallet for awhile since I live between states. Finally came to redeem and was told they no longer do it. Which is fine, but it was how rude the 2 guys working there were, meanwhile I come in here quite often. I will never eat at this place again. Its the pretentiousness for me. Go to Il Cafe Latte instead.

Interesting how rude our waiter was. We called made reservations and were super excited since were new to the neighborhood. The Burratta was great and the waffles as well.

Great small plates at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The pizza is scrumptious. It is an attractive and comfortable place good for meeting friends.

Had a great time a Lucilles. I have to say the highlight of our brunch was the coffee. I learned that the coffee was from a brick & mortar based in Detroit called “Anthology Coffee”. Absolutely blown away and I bought some coffee to take home with me. Will definitely be back for some good coffee in Harlem!

I love this place. I’ve ordered the chicken sando and salmon brrgrrr to go at least 10 times, and they always HiT. ThA. SPoT!!! But the real magic lies in going there for an evening, ordering a few house cocktails, and chatting with the cool staff. I’d give 6 stars if I could, easy!
