Pink Wonderland New York - Christmas Bar

This place is nothing but a cash grab. The photos and videos online look really good. However, in person is a totally different experience. They basically wrapped all the tables and booths in wrapping paper and pink suede-like fabric. All the fabric is dirty. The fabric on the seats is badly placed and coming off. The sleigh is dirty. To pay for entry is ridiculous with how terrible it is in person. We were out of there in 5 minutes.

There are 2 main photo ops- sled and angel wings. It was sooo crowded. There are maybe 3-4 tables ( standing only) that are first come first served, the rest are blocked off VIP booths. I bought a Black Fri sale ( buy one ticket, get one free, so I only spent $35 or I would be so mad. Definitely not worth the price at all.Long long lines to get a drink. Very few photo opps too.Do not recommend .

I had a great time. No wait for entry but at 9 pm the coat check was already fully. But, I came back in 15 mins and was able to check my coat. I didn’t get any of the holiday drink specials, I ordered my usual mix which was nice and strong. Many bartenders so the wait time was limited. Staff were friendly- no complaints, but 60 just for the entry (maybe it was cheaper if I brought it in advanced but I brought it the night before). It should be half that price or include 1 drink. I ordered 3 top shelf doubles for 91 including tip. I’d come back next year, if ticket prices don’t increase. Not many photo backdrops, only 2 that I saw. The wings (in the photo) and the sled, which has a very long line. We waited until the end of the night and the line for the sled was short so we were able to get pics there too but the decor was awesome enough, I didn’t really come for the photo ops. DJ was great, I enjoyed the wide variety of music from Christmas jams to reggaeton, reggae, pop and hip hop so needless to say my friends and I didn’t need or seek out a table.I like how flexible the tickets are, I was running late and needed to change my entrance time and I was able to do that easily just 1hr in advanced. I ended up arriving 15 minutes after the entrance time I changed it to lol (I’m always late) and everything was fine.

The website is very vague about how it works. To get a table you have to spend an additional $50 per person on food or drinks. I thought the tables were first come first serve and I went on a Wednesday night so there were tables open but they all had reserved signs and you cannot buy a table on the website. I was informed that if my party wanted to sit at a table and not the bar, we would have to spend $50 a person on either food or drink. They take your ID and a credit card when you get a table as well. You do not have to pay additional money to sit at the bar. The bar does fill up rather quickly even if the place isnt crowded. So buying the ticket only gets you into the bar. I ended up spending at lot more money than I intended for a subpar experience. There are also only 2 photo op areas. Not worth all the extra money in my opinion. All the extra money you may end up spending also still doesnt include tip for your server. The decorations were not as great as we were expecting either given the amount of money for the tickets. The sleigh to take pictures in is sliver, chairs are black, the floor is grey etc. I wouldve liked it to be more on theme for a place called pink wonderland. I wouldve appreciated a little more effort for the amount of money you spend to get in there

Horrible! Not a Christmas bar. Tickets only include entry then there are no seats unless you pay $50 per person. This is a tacky night club with a tacky DJ. The tickets are basically the door cover charge. If you think this is a Christmas bar you will be sadly mistaken. The lady at the door is rude and shouldn’t work in hospitality EVER. But then again- she works at this tacky “club”. There’s No coat check. No seats. Over priced drinks are typical in NYC- but I would rather spend money on good drinks and food elsewhere. Totally my fault for not reading reviews.

Horrible experience!!! I went at the time that I paid for which was 12/26/2023 with the time slot of 10pm-10:30pm and was turned away because the people who scan the tickets left and wasn’t coming back. This was unreal. It was my birthday and this place was all I bragged about and that’s the experience I walked away with, being told the people who scan tickets for entry left for the night. That I can get a refund or come another day however, It was the night of my birthday and that was the only day I could celebrate before the pop-up bar is gone. If I could give 0 stars I would have. Then i reach out for the refund and no one is responding to me. I will reach the proper authorities or I’ll contact my lawyer in regards because you take the money then do this. This wasn’t my screw up it was theirs. Im so upset.

Went here for my birthday but I left 10 minutes after stepping inside. As soon as I entered there was almost no space to walk since it was so packed with people dancing twerking & drinking. I saw no tables for someone to sit at and have some food. There were people on top of the bar tables dancing. People pushing (they were drunk). No space to take cute pics. It seemed like a ghetto club.

I love the concept because I am a pink girl; however, the price for the extremely small space and overly populated crowd is not justifiable. Why not lease out a larger space? Coat check was full and had to carry my winter coat around. There weren’t many photo ops. I’ve left about 3 Google reviews and this is the first negative review I leave. It’s just not worth the price and the hype. Notice how on their IG page, they don’t show the true atmosphere of how overly crowded and small the venue is.

This is just an understaffed sports bar in disguise. It is also much smaller in person. The decorations are pretty but not worth the entrance fee when you can’t even get a drink because they have two servers. Tables are all “reserved” with no one sitting at them so I’m assuming you just have to pay more money to sit at them. Very disappointing, don’t recommend unless you’re in the mood to feel ripped off.

This was not it. Very very VERY DISAPPOINTING. They’re so unorganized and so cheap looking. The music was good but that was literally it. There was no real picture worthy spots. The tables were reservation only which was NOT mentioned in the advertisement. We literally paid $$$ just to get in and be given a 99 cent pink hat and ornament necklace. Do not waste your money at all. Not worth it.

Purchased five tickets for an event but encountered issues at the entrance. Despite explaining that I wasnt wearing a sweat suit, I was denied entry because of the dress code. I even had tights that didnt meet their criteria. As a curvy girl, jeans are uncomfortable for me, so I reached out to Jacklyn via email requesting a date change, but unfortunately, I received no response. Disappointing experience overall.

The place was amazing. However, the service was terrible! our server was extremely hostile and didn’t take care of us at all. I saw her in the restroom eating fries while we were waiting for her to bring us the check. The bartender didnt have any idea about the drinks, she was looking at the recipes all the time, very disorganized staff.

Don’t waste your money! $40 just to get in the door, watch the prices on the menu, they are colored VERY lightly as the are overpriced, they are so understaffed you barely can get a drink, the manager was so rude and unaccommodating. They expect groups to sit at the smallest tables. Decor is cute but nothing overwhelming amazing

Beautiful atmosphere and very fun. Def fun for a girls night. The music was fun and so was the staff. Drinks were great as well

Its cute, but not worth it. Paid $30 to stand around while all of the empty tables were reserved , poor customer service, no food, didnt have all the drinks that they advertised on instagram, bathroom was out of toilet paper.

Super cute and fun experience, the decor was over the top! The drinks and food were also really good! Will definitely be back again soon during this winter season. The theme is so festive!

Honestly I was mesmerized by the decorations. However the place was over crowded and lots of people drunk acting weird. I took lots of pictures stayed about 30mins and left. Happy holidays though...the decorations 💯 beautiful.

Wasn’t what I expected. Place was a bar/club, had good music and pink everything but not worth a $40 entrance fee. Service was great though.

Dont promote something that is in poor condition, terrible! Its not what you see in the photos. all dirty! The seats are broken, nothing looks new, how it looks, I wasnt even in that place for 5 minutes, I lost my money.

AVOID!!! YOU PAY TO STAND THERE. The decor is nice but not worth it. It’s a small room. Drink was garbage. We left after 15 minutes. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!

To be honest I wouldn’t write a review but this was terrible customer service. I went to use the bathroom and the bathroom attendant went and with both hands pushed me to the side in the bathroom embarrassing me instead of telling me that there was a line. When I went to the manager to get my tip back for her, they told me they don’t take tips back but they will take it out of their own personal pocket to give to me. Awful experience!

$35-40 entrance fee and for what??? There is nothing special and definitely not worth it! It was small, super crowded, no place to sit, music wasn’t great. Stay away!

A scam. It’s an old smelly bar that they decorated badly. They’re rude and oversell so it’s full. You need to reserve a table for extra $$. Drinks are $18+. DO NOT COME!!!!!!

Don’t waste your money here. Nothing like what’s shown on Instagram. Couldn’t even get to the bar. Way too packed. Felt like sardines If you’re looking for an over paid club sure this is your place. Would never step foot at this place…

0/10 false advertisement, overly priced not worth the money, just a quick cash grab for the owner. A damn shame. If you’re looking for somewhere to just go in and stand up and look at decorations and don’t mind wasting your money this is the perfect place.

I had the best time at pink wonderland!!!!! My ticket came with entrance to the beautifully decorated venue, a cute pink Santa hat and a light up necklace & you have to try the mint to be cocktail if you come! Staff was super friendly and helpful, I would definitely add this to your NY Christmas itinerary

This place was cute but staff isn’t friendly. I ordered 2 pink patron margaritas for myself and a friend. The bartender that took my order was pretty busy(as to be expected) proceeded to tell me they ran out of patron bottles and wanted to make my drink in a regular glass, I saw every other bartender making it with the patron bottle and was like ok it’s fine. She then proceeded to make the drinks and serve them to me…another person ordered pink patron margs from the same bartender and to my surprise, they were given patron bottles…I ordered 2 more and magically she had the bottles that time…it was giving WEIRD!

This place was not worth the money at all. I was so disappointed by it. The decorations were cute it wasnt worth the hype at all. And the place was empty.

The bar is beautifully decorated but my biggest issue is the fact you pay for honestly nothing. I purchased tickets for my sister and I and ordered the tickets with the pink Santa hat and light bulb necklace. When I arrived I was told there werent any pink Santa hats and we got red ones instead. (Me personally is was looking foward to that.) The drink I had was good but for a $60 ticket there shouldve have been an appetizer and drink thrown in. When you arrive the security guard did let you know that it would be an additional $50 to get a table and there are only 8 bar stools so its first come first serve. If they come around again they should reassess what to include besides a necklace and hat that probably cost a dollar each.

WEIRD, UNORGANIZED , RACIST. So when I walked in with my friends the host (black girl) was very polite and welcoming which was great started off my night well. Came on time for my reservation however I had to wait 30 mins for a table which is fine. Went to the bar to get drinks male bartender (white) completely ignored me but the female bartender did her job well wasn’t going to let him ruin my night. Anyway proceeded to make the best of the night with the cheap looking decorations by the sled until the table was ready. Finally we was next for a table as the table was being cleaned a group of entitled (white) girls just sat down and was so upset when was asked to get up this table isn’t for you and went as far as rolling their eyes all night. Okay whatever brushed that off. Now it’s time to order and since we’re there for a special birthday I asked the waitress (white) bad attitude hey can I get sparklers for a birthday she stated we don’t do anything for birthdays but guess who comes out with sparklers for another birthday our waitress. Even after the only reason why I asked is because I seen her do it from someone while I was waiting at the sled. Restaurant giving weird. Drinks are pretty though that’s about it 🤷🏽‍♀️.

This was not it!! Although we had tickets for a particular time we waited 35 minutes to be let in and it was very cold outside. Finally getting into the venue it was nicely decorated but it was such a small space. The drinks were okay but seriously over priced. You literally pay over $40 to buy expensive drinks, take a couple of photos and stand. There was a DJ and the music was fine but the experience was just okay

Wish I listened to the Google reviews. Horrible experience. Takes over an hour to get a drink. Patron drinks was watered down with ice.When we returned to get 2nd rounds. The bartenders made our Patrons in a glass , stating she had no more Patron nottles. But then as we returned s 3rd time we saw her making drinks in the patron bottles for other guest. So she lied. We asked to pay for a shot in our drinks. She proceeded to give me droplets from the bottle and ignore my cousin. $48 for 2 drinks, you would expect better treatment. And he tipped her 20%. Food did not look appetizing. Bartenders are rude. Security is rude. Theyre Constantly telling you not to stand here or there. The place is tiny. Tables are reservation only for an additional fee. A huge fight broke with a group of older women over the sleigh display... lines are very long to take photos with the displays. It was a birthday treat. My cousin paid $46 for me just to go inside. Long line outside, just to get inside even if you already have a ticket. Please pay attention to Google reviews. This place only cares about your money. Ive been to numerous of newly opened locations in NYC, never had such a bad experience. DJ was okay and was the only reason we stayed for 40 minutes. We left & went somewhere else a few blocks down. Free to go in and the drinks was less expensive and much much better atmosphere.

Everything was absolutely stunning!! 🩷 The food and the drinks where also delicious!

Ambiance was just pink nothing special or breathtaking. The photo opportunities were about two little spots. In order to sit at a table it was $50 minimum spend per person, which is easy given the menu prices. The service is slow and not jolly. Which is understandable since the venue had one waitress and one busser, but damn thats not the paying customer(s) fault. I went on a Wednesday and it was busy with about 50 or more on goers. The ticket is over priced. The ticket I bought included a pink Santa hat that they didnt even have. They gave me a red hat with another venue name it Frostys. The food was mediocre and the whole drink menu wasnt in stock. Me and my guest made the best out of the bad experience. I wouldnt suggest this place to others to waste their time and money. It was a disappointment.

Don’t waste your time and money! We paid $30 each in advance just to go into some low scale pop up bar with only standing room bc all the tables and booths were “reserved” (no one was coming in to sit there). The decor was pink but there’s no where to take photos, the floor were sticky and gross and the bar was crowded with no seating or fighting for a seat. Poor customer service, no food, not all of the drinks they show on instagram were even available. The one drink we had was actually good, Rosie’s Pink Nose, that’s the only positive about this place.

The bathroom attendant hounded me down for a 3$ charge because I used two sprits of hair spray. She was blatantly rude to me for no reason. The staff was very reluctant to take photos of me and my mother. They looked miserable and took horrible photos, even though this event was clearly a photo opt. The drinks and entry fee were ridiculously over priced based on the service, drinks and atmosphere. I would never go back.

WORST bar experience that I’ve ever had! You basically pay $40+ just for entry and a cheap dollar store pink hat, seating is only for reserved people which there’s no option on their website to buy a reserved table! I find it bizarre that they just expected people who didn’t have a reserved table to eat from big plates of food and drink while STANDING UP the whole night! The staff wasn’t very kind, one of the bartenders dropped her tablet on my arm while I had a drink in my hand, so unprofessional!!! There was no room to really take photos. Such a horrible experience! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!

Save your money, its a waste of time and money I left 10 minutes after arriving anyone saying this was a good time is a paid promoter lol. Frostys is much better. Its mad small, nothing special about the decorations and no space to have fun. I would be tight if I paid listed price, I only paid 20 but its 20 I wont get back.. seriously. It aint it.

DO NOT! I repeat do not waste your money on the NY location! We went last night. Very small…janky…and drinks were outrageously priced. Also, they don’t tell you this when you were purchasing the tickets, but if you want to sit in a table or in a booth it’s an additional $50!!! Ridiculous!!!

I rarely write reviews but this place warranted one and ASAP. Firstly , we paid extra to get pink santa hats just to arrive and be told they ran out of them and instead gave us red santa hats with a logo from a completely different event. Secondly, i told the waiter that it was my friends bday, she brushed it off and said they do not do anything for birthdays. I sadly said okay and we continued our night. However to my complete surprise, about 20 mins later, the same waiter came out to another group of girls with the exact SAME shots we ordered along with sparklers while the dj started playing 50 cent’s infamous birthday song “in the club” and even gave a birthday shoutout. I thought they don’t do anything for birthdays? We didn’t even get sparklers with our shots! Please keep in mind my group consisted of all african american females and the other group were all caucasian females. Can you imagine how we felt? The waiter also never came back to check on us to see if we needed anything or if were okay with the food. The only other time we saw her was when she came out with the check. I really wish I knew her name but she never even introduced herself! This experience was absolutely terrible. We came all the way from new jersey to enjoy this place and have a fun girls night. However, this wasn’t the case. Food was mid but the drinks were pretty.

$30.00 you get in the door, you dont even get a drink..staff ignores you ...total waste of money!! Go across the street to Slate..no cover and fun bar!!

They have really cleaned up and had a wonderful time. It is expensive but fun.
