Ordered the fillet mignon medium rare. It was done nicely and tasted good. Service staff were friendly but Front of House staff looked very condescending.
This is a true 5 star steak house in the heart of the big apple . Our server Sophia was excellent and gave great menu recommendations! We had the The 16oz wagyu New York strip ! It was butter soft and so flavorful , it was cooked medium ( best way to have it) . Sushi is on point here ! For dessert we had the Hazelnut praline cake ( it was divine )Highly recommend this for anyone who likes superior quality and great taste .Atmosphere is very chill and the interior is gorgeous .
This is my honest review, based on my expectations for a restaurant at this caliberWe had some hits and misses during our visit. The Grilled Salmon roll unfortunately was dry and bland, and the Caesar salad could be improved with more depth and a more generous amount of bacon. On the positive side, both the Reserve Cut Hamburger and the Prime Reserve Cut Steak had great taste and seasoning. However, the hamburger was overcooked (ordered medium, arrived medium-well) and the steak was undercooked (ordered medium, arrived medium-rare). The fries were perfectly cooked and delicious! While the service was attentive it wasn’t as friendly as I would expect.
The olive fed wagyu was pretty good, but nothing out of the ordinary for wagyu. I had a better Canadian Wagyu steak for half the price at 212 steakhouses. After being asked by the waiter to tip the options that STARTED from 56$, for one person on the table, for less than an hour of service, and then refusing to do so, I was met with a “wow” from the waiter, and judgmental looks. Restaurants this expensive should either be investing more in training their staff, or pay them a wage that does not need tips for subsidization. Tips are a recommendation, not a requirement.
My wife and I drove in from Maryland to have dinner with our family and the experience was absolutely incredible. The food, service, and ambiance were all top notch and combined to probably make the best experience Ive ever had at a restaurant. I would highly recommend Reserve Cut!
The Reserve Cut was the perfect spot. The hospitality was amazing, the staff were very welcoming and enthusiastic. We ordered a few drinks and we didn’t get to see the bartender but clearly he is very skilled in mixology, our drinks were balanced and tasty. The food were also amazing, overall 5/5.
Food is top notch. Really you cant miss on the menu.Pulled beef tacos is the best appetizer and a must.Sushi is excellent .Each of the steaks are excellent.
Bad service for family group. Went with a large group and the waiter wasn’t equipped to handle more than just a few people. Waiter didn’t take the order correctly and after waiting over an hour plus, he told us that we never ordered food that we clearly asked for when we walked up. We complained to the manger which helps things a bit but overall was a disappointment.
Steak was good but I had better, tacos on the other hand were excellent. Restaurant is definitely overpriced but I skip that since prices are in the menu and if you order you accept them. The worst part is begging for tips service which totally destroyed my overall experience. I dont think that 17usd is a bad tip for a single person table but I got to know from them how ungrateful I am. Would I recommend this place? Not really, there are many better options around
This is my favorite Glatt kosher restaurant in New York City. Not only is the atmosphere absolutely gorgeous, but the service is impeccable. The wait staff literally wait on your every hand and foot. They watch the tables like Hawks , if your glasses half empty or completely empty, they fill it up right away. They always bring clean napkins. They’re constantly asking you if you want anything else, my favorite appetizer which I eat as an entrée are the slow braised short ribs it is absolutely a huge appetizer that is very filling and falls off the bone. When you order a steak, they cut it up for you table side. It is definitely an experience. All of their drinks are very delicious. Not to mention they also have sushi and the sushi is also out of this world. Everything is fresh 10 out of 10
Great service amazing cozy atmosphereVery good food top to bottomNothing interesting per say on the menuBut simply put this is probably the best true steak house in the Tri state area !
This place is absolutely amazing. From the moment you walk in you feel like you have been taken out to a different atmosphere. The ambience is phenomenal, something abnormally amazing. The food, wow, everything I tasted here was of superior quality and taste. The food was just perfect, from the appetizer, to the main couse, dessert, and drinks were all tastefully designed and tasted spectacular. It is definitely an experience, even though every single table was taken it didnt feel overly crowded, yet was comfortable and not too noisy. Overall was definitely an absolutely awesome experience, and would definitely recommend this restaurant to others looking for a high end experience.
This place was actually bigger than we expected and well designed. The waitress serviced us well and was very kind and informative. The food tasted great and the wine selection was also great. Its a bit pricey but worth the price after all. Highly recommended!
Weirdest and most unfortunate dinner I’ve had in NYC in a long time. We were looking for a steakhouse style place downtown on a Sunday night and it was one of the few open. Lovely place and fabulous staff. But every item on the menu had too many ingredients and too many strange mixes of stuff. The branzino was perfectly cooked but had all these strange vegetables over the top like edamame. Dinner for 2 was beyond outrageously expensive and we both left with stomachs that were unsettled by all the strangeness. Stars are for ambiance and great staff. The food is trying way too hard to be interesting and it’s just simply not good.
The food was amazing, the staff were great, amazing atmosphere, (it was a little loud).
The ambiance was really nice, the staff exceptional, and the food surpassed expectations!!!A highly recommended high-end experience with outstanding dishes!!!
It is a beautiful venue, it has great client service, the cost is on this higher side, but its because its an upscale place, which is normal. Now the Wagyu steak looked really nice and cooked right, not as soft as I would have thought it was supose to be (it was maybe as had as a regular steak) unfortunately for us, it was way too salty that it really took away from me enjoying it. The ravialies were very good, and the desert looked pretty, but it was just ok.I really wish the steak wouldnt have been so salty, we ate it cause, well, the place was packed, and most likely, it would have taken longer. It was a nice experience, but I really wished the steak would have tasted right.
The place is gorgeous! The service is phenomenal!Food was great!Definitely gonna come back!
The night I went there it was so packed I could hardly speak to my wife. Some of the food was amazing and some was ok. The staff were very nice but they booked way too many for that night.
Took a while to get service. The food was not so good, and it definitely did not meet our expectations. The steak was dry and chewy. We were not impressed with the presentation of the food. We had better at another steakhouse.
A very sophisticated setting, excellent appetizers and steak that was cooked to perfection, and very tasty cocktails. This restaurant is definitely worth visiting.
Excellent high-end quality food and ambience rivaled only by its price. Our table shared a fantastic cut of tomahawk steak, medium rare as they all should be. Unlike most of the other kosher steakhouses, the steak here was juicy, tender and tasty. All of the other dishes were equally great. The short rib tacos were outstanding along with shishito peppers and mushrooms. All of the sushi rolls were delightful and well designed.Beef tartare was fresh and enticing. The only complaint I had was the bland soup that tasted like it was watered down.If the prices were lower, Id be more than happy to come back more often.
When you come to a place with such a reputation you have high expectations. The restaurant is tastefully designed and the service bar none. However the food itself was good but we expected better. The portions were on the smaller side and some of the dishes were pretty underwhelming. The Filet Mignon, was excellent and the glazed yams delicious. Also, the cocktails, we had a couple, were really good. The lamb was just ok, and a little undercooked. The appetizers were good but nothing special. Finally it comes to that check and ohhh. Is Reserve Cut worth it? Ill leave it to you to decide!
Reserve Cut is an outstanding steakhouse that delivers an exceptional dining experience. The elegant decor and ambiance set the stage for a memorable meal. The menu offers a variety of high-quality meats, seafood, and sides, all expertly prepared and presented. The service is impeccable, with attentive and knowledgeable staff ensuring a seamless dining experience. Reserve Cut is the perfect place for a special occasion or a night out with friends, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.
By far the gold standard of kosher steakhouses. Everything is simply perfection. The ambiance is majestic, the food incredible, but what really sets this restaurant apart from its peers - are all the little things. Whether it be the foam they place under the tablecloth so your elbows dont get sore from leaning on the table or the fact that your glass of water almost magically never empties because its constantly being filled up. Their attention to detail and the culinary experience overall makes Reserve Cut a must-go for any foodie. Youll also probably have your best steak ever here.
Everything was amazingServicefoodThe steak was the best in my life the sushi was also really good the service was perfectPrice was good
Reserve Cut never disappoints! They always have the best steaks—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The customer service is consistently excellent, making every dining experience feel special. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch steakhouse.
I highly recommend coming here! The food presentation and taste were spot on!The service was immaculate and the ambience was spectacular. If I would be able to, I would live there!!!!
Best steaks in New York! Worth the price! It’s a fancy & Beautiful place. Very relaxing background music. And service is good!
Great quality food, very expensive but great
The most beautiful kosher restaurant Ive ever seen, and with impeccable service. Food was great as well. The place filled up more than once while we were there. Obviously very popular with the locals!
One of the best dining experiences Ive ever had. In had aged waygu and I cant stop thinking about it. The atmosphere, choices in fine liquor, beer, and wine, wait staff, quality ingredients, etc. Made this an incredible experience. If youre in the financial district, go! You will NOT be disappointed.
My company hosted a 40-person corporate event in Reserve Cut’s Executive Room. I can’t say enough positive things about Priscila who helped organize the event and the entire staff that ran the event. All of the guests loved the food and the vibe. Highly recommend!
An incredible birthday celebration! The staff was very helpful and super attentive, at some point exchanging jokes and stories of old. My glass was always full and the food was incredible. Highly recommend the 26oz Wagyu and sushi for an appetizer. Will be back soon
Upscale kosher steak and sushi served in an upscale setting. Significant business lunch crowd, and the dinner crowd definitely dresses to impress. One of the finer kosher dining experiences available in Manhattan. Service is generally attentive and good! Strong wine and liquor offerings. Pricey!
Reserve Cut Steakhouse offers an exceptional dining experience that truly deserves its five-star rating! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a luxurious ambiance that set the perfect tone for the evening. The menu features a tempting selection of perfectly cooked steaks, each cut tender and bursting with flavor. The side dishes were equally impressive, beautifully complementing the main courses. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, ensuring our glasses were always filled and our needs were met promptly. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out, Reserve Cut Steakhouse is the ideal choice. It comes highly recommended for steak lovers and food enthusiasts alike!
The Reserve Cut isnt just a restaurant, its an entire experience. This is a place that makes you feel like royalty. Not just the food, but the phenomenal service. Each member of the waitstaff goes above and beyond meeting your needs, even before you need them. You walk into the restaurant and are immediately greeted with an aura of warmth and exclusivity. The design and decor of the restaurant is a modern take on convention, departing from the expected atmosphere of a steakhouse. The low lighting, mirrored wine hall, and beautiful dinnerware all add to the experience.Without a reservation, the hostess found our party of 3 seats in less than five minutes. The servers pulled out our seats for us, and then pushed them back in when we sat. They gave us phenomenal recommendations on the food and drink, and we were not dissapointed. I recommend the short rib tacos, the amount of flavor packed into such a small package is staggering. The 24 oz waygu rib steak was one of, if not the best, cuts of meat I had ever eaten, paired with fantastic bone marrow and a side of fries. To finish off the meal, we had chocolate and peanut butter macarons served with mixed berry sorbet. On top of all that, the drink selection is endless.Overall, Id say that a visit to the Reserve Cut is a life changing experience, and I will make a point of returning. Absolutely breathtaking. (And its all Kosher!)
Loved the ambiance and food! Would definitely be coming back:)
Ambiance and food where amazing! The waitress pammy was so friendly and attentive making sure everything was perfect! A five star experience!!!!
Reserve Cut is stylish and sophisticated both in its menu and decorum. This is a pretty bold statement, but this was hands down the best cut I’ve had in NYC, and maybe the second best I’ve had so far throughout my lifelong foodie journey.I have lived here my entire life and have tried many different steakhouses across the boroughs. I ordered the ribeye and shishito peppers, and my friend had the filet mignon.Their sushi is really good too and the ambiance is incredible. Dress up, order a nice bottle, and enjoy!
So disappointing. Fabulous place that is so comfortable and plush, but i was very disappointed with the food. We had the 3 course set meal. The salad starter was fairly boring - it needed some flaked almonds or similar to give it some interest. The lamb burger was not a pure lamb burger rather a mince with other stuff mixed in and was only ok as it was very salty, but the biggest let down was the fries - pure salt to the extent that i found them inedible. Thr desert was good.
Disappointed. Food was decent, a bit pricey. The service though left a bit to be desired. We were seated quickly and waited a bit for waiter. Waiter took our drink order, then apps and mains. Never saw him again. Others delivered apps and mains. We finished and talked for about 15 minutes when we realized no one had gotten our dishes or asked for dessert. We were able to get someone else and asked for our waiter. He asked if we had got our bill. We said no and he went and got our bill. We never got offered dessert, refills, or anything. Not sure where the waiter went to. He was just gone. Up to that part, meal was going pretty well. Tacos app were great - best part of meal. The jerky and tartare were ok. Not the beat we have had. Sides were a bit blah. We had 3 Filet’s. 2 medium rare and 1 medium. They were not cooked correctly. Medium rare were overcooked and Medium undercooked. Still ok but not the best.
BAD SERVER RUINS NIGHT FOR GROUP.Having been to RC many times over the years, we were very disappointment with our recent experience. We came with a larger group (around 20 ppl) and got a private room. The server that was assigned to our room wasnt able to handle a larger crowd. Many dishes that we ordered was never entered, when asked where the dish was after waiting for over an hour, we go attitude that we didnt order at one time and the server tried shifting the blame onto us - the customers.Overall the service was very poor.... We spoke with floor manager about midway and he tried to help but it was to late.... Its a shame to have a poor experience at such a nice place that we have so many good memories from....Hopefully RC can retrain their staff to make sure that they are helpful and bring back the famous RC experience.
Great place! Nice and comfortable seating with delicious steaks! Great appetizers and desserts as well
Food was OK. Could be better.
What more can I say but a high class establishment! The service and hospitality is excellent. The food is also absolutely amazing!
Hostess doesn’t care for clients, made booking a reservation extra difficult for no reason. I’ve been here numerous times in the past, booked private rooms - never once was told or treated the way I was today. I was told “you have to spend minimum $250 per person” - there wasn’t a time I spend less than $500/$600 as a couple, I’m not new to their prices but the fact that I’m told these guidelines over the phone when making a reservation left a bad taste.
The food was so surprisingly good! I am not a fan of kosher meats, they dont taste as good to me, but this place was amazing! The prices are rather high, but pretty much on par with most of the higher end steakhouses. They had a black truffle spicy tuna roll that was so delicious that I cant wait to go back for another.
High end restaurant in the middle of the Wall Street. If you didn’t know this place is Kosher you would never guess, the ambiance, the setting and the service is up to par and it’s definitely worth every penny. My favorite dishes were: tuna truffle sushi roll, crispy rice tuna, wagyu steak, assorted mushrooms and garlic mashed potatoes as a side. Wine selection is beyond any average kosher restaurant, you can tell that a professional sommelier worked on it. Last but not least, this restaurant has the best chicken tenders and fries for the kids. We had to take an extra order to go for their late snack.
Reserve Cut is well known as one of the worlds premier kosher restaurants. The food lives up to the hype. Our steaks were outstanding, perfectly cooked, and super flavorful. The cocktails were very well done, and the Vanilla Praline dessert was the perfect end to our meal. However, for the price paid, unfortunately the service and decor are not at the same level as other restaurants in that price range. This is not Le Bernadine or Eleven Madison where every detail is managed precisely. My issues are not things I would mind in a cheaper restaurant, but they presented a detachment that did detract from the joy of the meal.Sitting at a table by a wall, I noticed chipped and damaged paint, and small tears in the fabric. The runners were confused about who got what dishes. The menus were left sitting on the edge of the table after we ordered. Pacing was off. The appetizers came out super-fast with a 25-minute break for the mains. Desert hit the table promptly and there was a noticeable delay in coffee. These are small items that in no way should keep someone from going and enjoying the best kosher steak Ive ever eaten. Yet now that there are many other premium kosher steakhouses in the city, these little details put a return trip in the wait and see column.
Excellent restaurant, very fancy and delicious food. High end kosher place. Parking was a challenge tho. Everything was planned by their staff, down to the smallest detail of our celebration. Highly recommended!!
Extremely elegant delicious food great service what else can you ask for!!!!
Reserve Cut has a name in the industry as a high-end restaurant with delicious food and great service for a reason!
Ambience is nice. Location is interesting very convenient for business in the business district/financial district. Very difficult for parking. it is a very pricey restaurant. Extremely pricey. I can see that the food is definitely delicious. Bug was disappointed when I got to the restaurant and they told me that they did not have a lunch menu online. It seems to be one, but in the restaurant, they do not provide one, nor do they have a menu for lunch.
Great food and amazing wine menu.
Excellent food, menu, and environment. Great for lunch and dinner.
I was fortunate to have a nice lunch at Reserve Cut and had to order the crown jewel item in the menu, the 22 OZ WAGYU BEEF BONE-IN RIB STEAK. It was a tasty steak and it came with bone marrow on the side. Ive never had a wagyu steak before and wasnt sure what to expect. In some ways I was disappointed because it tasted like a regular steak to me.Upon telling friends about my experience and reviewing my photos, I realized that they did not give me a wagyu steak. I asked for my steak mid-rare and they cooked it closer to medium. I snapped a pic of it and realized later on that the steak did not possess the marbling youd usually expect from a wagyu steak. Its a shame that this steak itself costs $109 and that I might have been bamboozled since I was a newbie to the wagyu world.Id advise anyone to be weary of what they advertise versus what they actually serve you because my crown jewel experience ended up a mediocre disappointment.
Great food. Nice place. Good vibes.
There isn’t one single restaurant that can compare to reserve cut . This restaurant is very very expensive , but absolutely worth every penny . Their sushi is top notch , the kind where you talk about every bite . I’m still thinking about the food today ! Really , the best place to visit . Excellent for a date , or anniversary, or just a family or friend get together . If I could give this place 100/10 I would . I love you reserve cut ❤️
This place is disgraceful. I made a reservation and had to cancel due to my child becoming sick over night. I notified the restaurant a full 8 HOURS prior to our reservation / as soon as I was aware; and they charged me $100 ! I’ve repeatedly been in contacting asking for them to refund given the circumstances and they refuse and were completely rude. This was the worst experience I’ve had dealing with a restaurant.
Absolutely spectacular food was incredible ambiance was beautiful and servers are very nice, I met the owner hes a great guy, will definitely be back!!
Best Kosher restaurant in the world.
Just had an amazing cocktail hats off to your bartender!!Great food and amazing service, definitely the place to go for a special occasion!
10/10/2023 - The ambiance of this fine dining establishment is unlike any other place I have ever been to. Excellent food - service - and overall vibe. Thank you for allowing those who keep kosher to truly enjoy an excellent experience. Recommend Crispy Tuna Rice and Brisket Tacos!10/01/2020 - The outdoor seating is nice. Appetizers too small and overpriced but they were delicious. Chilean sea bass roll was not good. Mashed potatoes were not good. All of the steaks were phenomenal and made the dinner worth it. It’s worth trying but I wasn’t completely satisfied with my meal considering I spend a lot of money.
Very nice staff. Food came super fast! Delicious food
The best kosher steakhouse in the world. They have midline and top line options.
This restaurant was absolutely beautiful and the food tasted great. The waiters and staff were polite, patient, and helpful. The waiters are very well informed and the food and the way its prepared. The ambience was astonishing and comfortable. The only thing that bothered me was that it was my wifes and birthday and I called twice to make sure that they bring a birthday surprise dessert after the dinner service. But instead we got the dessert menu and I had to leave the table and ask whats going. Unfortunately the waiters never got the memo and it made it obvious to my wife that I was ordering a birthday surprise which was no longer a surprise at that time. :-(
You can never go wrong with R.C. - except for your dining out budget. This spot will excite your senses and tax your wallet. If you are feeling expansive, try one of the $150+ steaks. Sushi is also 5-star
Not sure if theres a nicer ambience that complement the delicious food. They change up the menu very often.
The steak was perfect and delicious! The best place ever!
I loved the ambiance when you walk in it’s a great modern big space with dimmed lights. The staff were very attentive and come by every minute to check on you, and clean the courses. first time was better , the second time We ordered 5 things and they were all good but not everything wowed me and we dine a lot but i did have higher expectations for some dishes. Very expensive as well, keep that in mind.what I do recommend is the sushi menu and they have the best cocktails.
Always a fine dining experience of delicious food presented beautifully by an attentive staff.
Their desserts stood out the most. Very unique desserts. Good waitstaff who were helpful in choosing what to eat. The sushi was very fresh. The mushroom soup was very comforting. Large steak.
We went here for a Birthday. We loved it!Everything about it!The Ambiance, the Service, the quality & level of service is the best. Obviously you pay for it, but at least when you pay for it, you can receive it.Our server Irina was great. We will definitely be coming back here! Also, loved the fact that we werent bothered by masks and garbage. Please keep it up!
To me, food, service, and atmosphere are very important.I had a bad experience at Reserve Cut last time I visited.I have called to Reserve Cut restaurant in advance to book a spot where its quiet enough to have a conversation. I guess they have something new now days. If you dont show up, theyll charge your card $50pp.Anyways, the waiter sat us at the area where you could hardly hear each other. Although I mentioned while we walked to the table that we sat at. I was not happy about that.My date friend ordered Wagyu. steak. She specifically mentioned I would like medium-temperature for the steak. When they served us, we got medium rear temperature. They took it back and slightly overlooked it.When I went to the bathroom, I noticed a very bad smell. The smell was not coming from someone using the bathroom it was coming from something like a bad rag or a mapp left overnight or something. Soap was missing on one of the dispensers.I hope Reserve Cut will make some improvements to elevate my score with them. As of now, I dont plan to come there anymore.
Stone-Like Meat, Terrible Service, and Exorbitant Prices!I recently had the misfortune of dining at a restaurant that left me utterly appalled and bewildered. I cannot express how disappointed I am with the entire experience. From the moment I walked through the door until the dreadful conclusion of my meal, everything went downhill with astonishing consistency. Allow me to recount my nightmarish encounter with this establishment, where the meat was like a stone, the service was abysmal, and the prices were nothing short of extortionate.Lets start with the meat, or perhaps I should say rock instead. I ordered a supposedly succulent steak, only to be served a slab of meat that could have easily doubled as a doorstop. It was tough, chewy, and devoid of any flavor. My teeth felt as though they were undergoing an endurance test rather than enjoying a meal. To say it was disappointing would be an understatement. Clearly, the chef neglected the fundamental principle of ensuring culinary delights are actually edible. But the culinary catastrophe didnt end there. The service was an absolute disaster. The staff appeared completely disinterested and unmotivated. It felt as if I was interrupting their personal gathering rather than being a paying customer. The waiters were inattentive, rarely bothering to check on my table or fulfill even the simplest requests. It was as if they had a competition going on to see how many customers they could neglect in a single evening. Bravo, you won! Now, lets talk about the prices. Prepare yourself for the shock of a lifetime. The menu showcased a range of dishes that, judging by their astronomical prices, should have been prepared by world-renowned chefs. Yet, what arrived at my table was an insult to both gastronomy and common sense. The sheer audacity to charge such exorbitant amounts for subpar food and horrendous service is beyond comprehension. I sincerely hope they invest some of their ill-gotten gains into culinary training and customer service workshops. To add insult to injury, even if you were willing to pay these exorbitant prices, the service was so atrocious that you couldnt even receive what you paid for. Its as if they derived perverse pleasure from providing the bare minimum while taking every penny they could from unsuspecting patrons. In conclusion, my experience at this restaurant was nothing short of an abomination. The meat was akin to chewing on a boulder, the service was reminiscent of a group of apathetic teenagers, and the prices were a cruel joke. Save yourself the agony and stay away from this culinary catastrophe. There are countless other establishments that offer quality food, attentive service, and fair prices. Spare yourself the torment and go elsewhere—anywhere, in fact—because this place simply does not deserve your time, money, or sanity.
Food was good, but very expensive and a little overrated for my taste, but overall the experience was really nice, and especially for kosher only people, I don’t think you’ll find something quite like it anywhere else. It’s expensive, but an experience that might make it worthwhile. The service was good and so was the atmosphere. (FYI the wagyu wasn’t great and doesn’t look like the real deal, the tomahawk was exceptional!)
Fine service! Delicious food!Editing 12/25/23 i must say.. iv tried coming back a few times. For me it was a bit to crowded & loud. I came back for a lunch. This was my best discovery... we had a very pleasant experience! Food! Service! & ambience!!
Always a nice vibe and good food. Great place for friends night out, or business dinners.
Its a beautiful, dimly lit space. Food was average but over priced. Service was efficient but not friendly. I enjoyed the sushi, but the side veggies were a piece of tomatoe, a slice of green pepper, onion and not much else. Ask for tap water of you dont want to be charged 12 per bottle of their still water. They will only give you option of still and sparkling - youll need to ask for tap on your own. Parking is not valet - its just self parking in a paid lot.
People answering the phone are clueless. 4 answers to 3 calls,Do you deliver? Yes? Do you deliver? Yes during the day but not now in the evening Do you have a service like grub hub ? Yes then no. They have absolutely no service minded thinking. I was told to come in when I asked for a specific cut of meat and when I got there they ran out. This is common for them and I have experienced running out commonly. The manager was nice enough to put my Sorbet on the house ha ha.
Very good place. Highly recommend it for first date or business meeting.
My husband and I went to reserve a few times and it was always perfection! Really good service and yummy food. Even during covid, we sat outside and had the best service and the food was just as amazing.
The decore is very pleasant and upscale. The starters were very tasty and deliciose . The main dish was a bit burned . We werent so pleased with it so we decided not to ad any tip. The waiters didnt want to let us go without any tip . They pressured us forcefully for it so we decided to offer 10% they werent satisfied with it and gave us terrible attitude!! we cant forget how terrible they made us feel we went home with a bad taste in our mouth!
The worst restaurant ever!First of all I will start with the fact that the restaurant manager was very nice and the restaurant is very beautiful. But I would never recommend anyone to eat there. The worst food you will eat - they do not know the level of meat and the food is too salty. The most cheeky and disgusting waiters I have encountered, I got a burnt steak after ordering a M steak. The waiter didn’t agree to replace my steak - instead of having the dish replaced he cut my steak in front of my face and told me it is a M and started arguing with me! only after the manager arrived he agreed to cancel my steak. The manager understood the mistake and gave us desserts of the house. Agin he was nice and we came to pay and leave but when I paid I made a small mistake and put the wrong pin, so the card was a decline when I told the waiter I was probably wrong but now I think I know the right code he told me “to think it was not enough” I thought I did not understand him correctly but he kept being cheeky and giving me a nasty feeling. I just told him he can not be a waiter. before I left the restaurant he came in front of the elevator and shouted at me that I did not understand him correctly and humiliated me in front of my baby sister.I have never in my life received such treatment anywhere and certainly not in a restaurant where I paid $ 300 and stayed hungry.* Not recommended* and do not come here if you like good food.
Great atmosphere with amazing service. Food was absolutely delicious. Strongly recommend!
Amazing food and ambiance. One of the best kosher restaurants in the world.
Food is amazing, atmosphere is phenomenal, prices are normal, service wasn’t too bad but not exceptional. The one thing that they really need to improve is the noise level. It’s really hard to have conversations here especially if you’re sitting at a bigger table that’s because of the low ceilings. I really hope they will do something about it one day. Other then that awesome place.
Great food. Staff is extremely polite and professional. A bit pricey.
Honestly, horrible experience.Felt very alienated the second me and my family walked in (visible Muslim family). Staff kept staring and circling our table. Service was legitimately terrible. Felt rushed through the evening and was Interrupted by wait staff MULTIPLE times mid conversation, sip and bite. Service staff reached over my face multiple times. So appetizing to have someone’s armpit in your face taking your drink away before you’ve even finished.Pathetic portion sizes as well. “Rack” of lamb was only 3 pieces (rack of lamb is 6-8 pieces to any person who’s ever had one) of a severely malnourished chihuahua sized lamb. Was so excited to try this spot and left with a burning hole in my pocket, growling stomach and a ruined mood. Stay away - scammers.
My problem is with the very weird music. I wish I could enjoy my meal with some light jazz or classical pleasant music but the manager said the owner insists they only play this very beaty jungle music
Last week, my wife and I had the pleasure of dining at the renowned Reserve Cut in Manhattan. This was our first visit to New York City since the year before Covid, so it was a long time coming. Our meal was off the charts and the staff was amazingly attentive, kind and patient. From the minute we walked in to the spectacular ambiance, you can feel that this isnt just another restaurant. I took my wife there for a date night and its not one we will likely forget. The maî·tre d Alessandro took such amazing care of us. We were lucky enough to get seated right next to the kitchen. The wall is all glass and you can see the chefs and the staff preparing each and every dish. Its an amazing table. We started off with some campaign, and my wife was pleasantly surprised. Its great to feel special and like going out means something. Our first course was a sushi quartet including Yuzu Striped Bass , Blackened Tuna Bite, Tuna Uzusukuri and Tuna & Black Truffle. Now I like sushi, but I came to a steakhouse and ordered it, was I crazy? NO WAY! The sushi was AMAZING. Flavor was bursting in my mouth and even though we ate 4 rolls, we still had room for more. It was seriously the best sushi I ever ate. The sushi was paired with a glass of the Chateau Rubin Rose. Our server Jay brought us our next course, a special non menu from the chef. A Salmon special with radish, micro cilantro, cucumbers and strawberries from Japan. The Salmon was sooo soft, we were trying to figure out how it was cooked as there was no grill or sear marks on it. Turns out I was right, it was sous vide in a water temperature controlled bath to perfection. The strawberries were a welcome addition. It was mildly sweet and melted in your mouth. Our next server Miguel brought us a special soup in a shot glass called Tom Kha Gai. It was something I never hear of or tried before but it has some serious flavor. Its made with chicken, garlic, ginger, shallot, jalapeño, mushrooms, scallion, coconut milk, chicken stock, cilantro, cane sugar and lime, all in the little shot glass. Yet another of the chefs amazing tasting inventions. Another server Wilem brought us the special wagyu carpaccio with hot stone to cook in on with little dishes of molten salt, paprika, teriyaki and the Short Rib Tacos which is hickory smoked prime beef, grilled pineapple salsa with house BBQ sauce. It was so much fun spicing and grilling the wagyu on our heated stone, like a cool activity for adults. I am also a major fan of tacos especially pulled beef and these were mouth watering. The pineapple salsa was the perfect topping adding some freshness and bright flavors to our mouths.Miguel was back with a special reserve wine made specially for Reserve Cut and goes great with their meat. Then came Alessandro with a special table side service. A piece of Fillet Mignon finished in the pan table side with some margarine (usually this would be butter in a non kosher restaurant) garlic, shallots, peppercorns and some other spices finished off with the special house sauce. We got some flambe action and we really enjoyed the show and not to mention the smells were so enticing. The dish was served with some bone marrow and flaming rosemary and thyme We were also served Roasted Free Range Chicken with duck fat infused pommes pave, star anise glaze, truffle jus which was served with burning sticks of wood which really made the dish pop. Both were so tasty and amazing, we were having foodgasims and had to take breaks and just watch the action in the kitchen. To close our this amazing meal our server Jay brought us dessert consisting of a Lemon Meringue Tart served with fruit sorbet and Peanut Chocolate Pavé featuring espresso sauce, sweet & salty nuts. Both were amazingly fresh, tasty and great pallet cleansers. All in all 5 stars on the food, 5 stars on the service. I will defiantly be coming back again soon.
Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end Juan our waiter was excellent make us very comfortable with the menu and details thank you so much !
What a wonderful party I had with my coworkers from Gaia property group. I never knew kosher butter could be so wonderful. What makes it even better is the amazing service from the highly trained very attentive an extraordinarily meticulous staff. Cant wait to go there again and have more delicious food and a wonderful time with friends.
Called to re-schedule for the following weekend since my girlfriend got food poisoning and can’t eat, was told I’ll be charged $100 cancellation fee and if I wish I can reserve another table separately. Do you really expect me to come back to you after zero courtesy on your end? I never put bad reviews but this case deserves one…
Everything is so tasty and good here. One of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten in Manhattan. It’s a very upscale and fancy designed restaurant with a wide range of wine selection. Feels cozy and romantic. Good for business meetings as well. All the dishes we tried were perfectly cooked and delicious. The service is top notch, the waiters pay attention to all the details. Clean and neat. I’d recommend this place. However, be careful, it’s extremely expensive.
Damn good steak... Wine selection was on point. Nice ambience and decor. The mezcal old fashioned was a treat indeed. Interesting location. Nice Bar scene. The staff were efficient, friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back and would definitely recommend it to others.
Best kosher food!! Great service and amazing food
Love this place! Excellent quality, atmosphere and hospitality. 5 stars
This place does not deserve even one star. To charge so much money for food the owner need to give good service. I came there to celebrate my husbands birthday. We had a waiter Viktor F who ruined our evening. First of all, he took the wrong order. I made it clear enough to do a well done burger for my son and make it plain because the kid does eat onions. He brought to the table meat with blood! We had to make another order because my husband did not want to be rude. The waiter did not know the menu and came out with all kinds of excuses. VERY VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. Finally the tips! They want 20% for their nasty service. 80$ tips. Tips are additional! We paid 400 $ and I think its enough. They demanded tips! Terrible. What a shame. Owners, managers, do something with that.
SAVE YOUR MONEY GO EAT ANYWHERE ELSE. Trust me on this one. Staff was constantly taking my food away before I was even done, without asking me. Kept interrupting our conversations, rushing us to leave. Worry about cleaning your bathrooms once in a while instead of being so worried about clearing our table. Owners need to google what a rack of lamb looks like and not sell me an unseasoned Costco sample size dish for $90.Burger was below average - greasy, dripping, soggy bun. Tacos were good but as I was putting the salsa garnish on my taco - I kid you not - my fork was still in the dish, MID SCOOP, and a staff member picked it up and took it away. DIDN’T STOP, DIDN’T APOLOGIZE, AND DIDN’T PUT IT BACK DOWN. I have never had such a bad experience. I’m no stranger to fine dining and I’m not opposed to expensive, small portions of gourmet food, but this was a) below average taste-wise b) absurd price-wise for value and c) COMICALLY BAD SERVICE.
If youre not just looking for the greatest food, but for an extraordinary experience Reserve Cut is definitely one of the best places to to go when you looking for something special and really high-end!!Everything about that place makes it special, the atmosphere, sophisticated decor, amazing alcohol selection and of course the food!
Still one of the best kosher steakhouses in NYC hands down! Service is outstanding, ambiance is amazing, food was delicious, and my steak was cooked to perfection! Their wine menu is any wine lovers dream, and the in house sommelier was extremely knowledgeable. The only thing that didn’t live up to my expectations and the expectations of such a high end establishment were the deserts. My molten cake tasted commercially made and like it was defrosted, and trio of sorbet was so so. Despite that we had a wonderful experience and highly recommend this restaurant!
Probably the best kosher restaurant on the western hemisphere. If you go, I recommend getting the sushi. The meat tacos are also delicious. Overall absolutely excellent, cannot go wrong.
Very poor food for the money we pay, looks great, good service everything came very fast and the workers were nice but the food was very disappointing.
Amazing food! Best meat I ever ate!
Beautiful decor and outstanding level if service. Steak was not impressive, and food looked nice but not exciting.
Im not a steak fan but figured if Im going to a steakhouse I may as well go all in. First of all, the cocktails were really, really good. I started with the te caliente and ended with the gentlemens sour was was incredible. As for my meal, I started with the short rib taco which was not my favorite but interesting, the baby back ribs which were tasty and super tender, and the beef sliders which were underwhelming. For my main, I had the Wagyu Beef Bone-in rib prepared medium. It was good, but if I was a steak fan I probably would have enjoyed it more. I had a side of mixed veggies which were really good, as was the sting beans. The mashed potatos were a bit lack luster. Although I enjoyed my meal, I think I would have enjoyed it more had I been a steak fan. The service was good, the waitstaff was friendly and knowledgeable and the atmosphere was good.
The food was incredible!! One of the best steaks ever!
Food AMAZING, atmosphere is AMAZING. But what really makes this place one of the best in NYC is the amazing service! There were so many waiters who made sure we were doing good, kinda hard to name them all but coming from someone who has dined in all of nyc and all the steakhouses by far this place exceeds all expectations with there wonderful service. HIGHLY recommend and would definitely return thank you reserve cut crew! Oscar, Marlon, and Christopher thank you so much for your great service and you’re awesome colleagues.
I can note two things that didnt go perfectly, but everything else was so superb that it deserves 5 stars anyway. We did arrive 15 minutes late to our reservation, so maybe we lost our table, but I thought it was odd that we had to wait 10 minutes for a table. I also asked for my drink to come with the food but it came straight away. Other than that, the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and we never had to look up for more than a second to get a waiters attention. I am a picky eater but there was nothing that I didnt like, and everything was cooked to perfection. Although one of the salads (The mango one) was a bit bland. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. It was really one of the nicest restaurants I have been to.
Place is very nicely set up. Nice ambience and comfy armchairs. All the food we ordered was delicious. Our waitress took extraordinarily long to get to our table every time we wanted to order, though once we did, the food arrived really quickly. This place is expensive, but worth it.
Amazing food and a very attentive staff. Wondeful birthday dinner; cant wait to go again!
The food wasn’t good. As a person who went to thousands of dining restaurant from asia to europe, this maybe my worst experience in a restaurant. The rib was very stink and the sushi rolls aren’t fresh at all. Only the soup was good enough but very basic. I expected better decorations on the food but it didn’t.
Too many better options in the area to settle for a mediocre overpriced steakhouse, just because its kosher. In both locations their drinks are horrible, when you buy a $7 a bottle liquor and charge the drinks like its a premium top shelf , or charge a regular fillet mignon almost double than your next door competition, then I call that taking advantage of someone.Gallaghers, mastros, capital grille, all better options with better food and drinks.ALWAYS, And I mean ALWAYS ask for the name of what you want. If you dont say Tito, they will give you their $5 bottle vodkas. Same for the wines...
Excellent restaurant, one of those where you cant even tell its kosher. Very nice ambiance and the service was great. Steaks are excellent. One of the few places that are actually worth the premium they charge
What a beautiful place. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic.
The best Kosher Meat restaurant youll visit in Manhattan.
Being that people have been raving about the Reserve Cut for years, I knew I needed to try it and went there recently for dinner with my wife. The place was incredibly crowded, and despite having a reservation we still had to wait twenty minutes after arriving. The seating areas were so crowded there any time you got up to walk anywhere you have to dodge people and waiters. The temperature in the dining area was slightly warmer than I would’ve liked. All this added up to me being very ready to criticize this place. Then the food showed up.
Excellent service, delicious desserts, ambiance amazing, sushi very good, ribs yummy!
An amazing experience. We couldn’t afford to go crazy, but decided to share one samurai waygu, their most expensive dish. It was the best steak ever. The hamburger was really good as well.Come prepared for an expensive night.
Nothing spectacular, steaks were correct temperature but charred on the outside for all of us so it tasted overcooked. Rolls were good, sashimi was meh. Service was good but everytime I ordered a martini with no olives, it came with olives..idk. Will try again, hope its better next time.
Superb food, great ambiance. We had Sushi for appetizer and it was insanely delicious. In particular the no rice tuna & caviar roll! a must for any real sushi lover. The Wagyu beef they serve is exceptional but a bit pricey. Was extremely busy when we were there so service was a tad slow. Overall, by far the best kosher restaurant.
First I have to begin with the ambiance, it was such a beautiful restaurant it was so pleasant just to sit in there. The staff is some of the best staff a place could want. They were courteous, professional and gave wonderful suggestions about the food and wine pairings. The food was wonderful and tasty. It was an amazing experience. One that everyone should have. Five stars.
The steak was great and the fries were greater than great. But the service was below mediocre. I had to negotiate for the side dishes and they gave my wife my steak and me hers. For the price, the service and training of staff should be far better.
Just went for the outdoor dining. The service is very friendly but slow because they have to travel in and out from the second floor of the restaurant to outside (across the street) thankfully they are very attentive so makes up for it. The wine and pretty much everything off the menu is great! Got mostly sushi and of course a steak!
One of my favorite restaurants. Their reserve cut steak is probably the best steak Ive ever had. Their sushi is really exceptional as well. Loved their short rib tacos. People claim service isnt good but we have never had anything but a great experience. Been there for two separate anniversary dinners and it was a really great experience, if quite expensive even fit two people. Definitely worth it though.
Would be a great restaurant without that clueless manager Alessandro. We used to spend thousands there weekly, now simply do not go.
I spent almost 10K in just 2 weeks there since I did a few meetings, I was there tonight and ordered food for about $700 long story short they messed up one of our steaks with the wrong cook. I told both managers the situation and had it sent back cause it wasnt eatable. They refused to take it off the bill even though we couldnt touch it. Its obviously my last time I stept foot in there. Its a shame how I had to leave with such bad experience. They simply robbed me for something I didnt have. And u know thier steaks are way overpriced as is. Good luck doing business like that. No wonder its completely empty at lunch time, when that place used to be the busiest place in NY.
Incredible dining experience
I eat out sometimes. I like to go to different places all the time. I came to Reserve Cut, the place is nice and romantic! But the prices are blown out of air and insanely expensive, for instance we ended up paying $60 for seltzer.... don’t tell me this isn’t a scam...Anyhow I’m not complaining about the food. But they are way overpriced and there’s a million other places that match their quality for way less money!
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The staff at Reserve Cut exuded professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care for the customers. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered helpful recommendations, ensuring that my dining experience would be nothing short of extraordinary. Now, lets talk about the food. The menu at Reserve Cut boasts a remarkable selection of kosher dishes, beautifully crafted and prepared with the utmost attention to detail. Every dish I tried was a work of art, both visually stunning and bursting with incredible flavors. The ingredients were fresh, and the presentation was elegant, showcasing the chefs skill and creativity.
Sorry but at this price range, and with the beauty of this space, the food and the service should be far beyond what they offer. I hate writing a bad review but the appetizers were absolutely uninspired and really didnt taste that good. The steak for dinner was tasty, but you really need to work hard to wreck a piece of Prime Beef. On the bright side they have an excellent wine program.
I went to reserve cut the first time tonight with my wife for mothers dayWe had a very enjoyable time together the ambiance, food, service was outstanding I told the waiter surpise me with my food he brought me short rib taco for antre and reserve cut steak forMain course they were both very goodThe desserts were also amazing we ordered wine as well, the night was good overall!!
Great food/service/ambiance
I was appalled by this place. The ultimate King has no clothing scam.... If the waiters and expensive atmosphere tell you enough times how fantastic the place is, maybe you wont notice youre being sold the most unimpressive, mediocre meal of your lifetime at 500% of its true value. To coin a famous Jewish expression, Never Again....Nothing bad, but nothing on the table to remotely justify the prices. Small portions and unimpressive quality as to preparation, presentation, and most importantly... Taste
Wow!!!! It was amazing!!! From the food to the service to the ambiance!!!!!! Whether you need a spot for a meeting, a date, or a nice family supper this is the the place to go!!!
Just an amazing fine dining experience
Excellent food and great service!Atmosphere was excellent as well with modern touches!Their sushi was good but most importantly their tomahawk steak was amazing. Drinks were good too
Amazing food and service! Not the biggest portions but they were so delicious! I did bang my and cut my forehead in the dimly lit ambiance but its not too bad. Highly recommend!
Ok. Overrated and overpriced. Waiter promised the “Samurai Steak” was A5 wagyu. It is most definitely not.Sadly probably in the top 5 of kosher restaurants.
Good food and great customer serviceI definitely recommend this restaurant
Top notch! Food is great and service is above and beyond!
Simply outstanding; everything was perfect, like clockwork.
Average Average AverageAll three appetizers came out maybe four minutes after I ordered them and were bland, small, and cold, not worth ~$30 each!!!!!Steak was overcooked and dryIMO - restaurant belongs at some all-inclusive in Cancun, not NYC
Super high end and super fancy. You will not be dissapointed! Its high end so its pricey, but my oh my is the food delicious and the ambiance wonderful. The owner, Mr. Allaham, is a true gentleman and quite the gracious host.Youll definitely enjoy!!
I think it’s the best restaurant in New York City! Wonderful risotto, delicious oysters, fantastic steaks. And it’s the only place where I can have my favorite drink - Gimlet- made well! Six stars!
Visited this a few days ago. The ambience was perfect and the service was worth. The food they served were also delicious. Love their wagyu! A must-try restaurant!
Absolutely amazing! One of the best restaurants I have been to. My husband and I came for an anniversary dinner and it made for the perfect evening. Although everything we tried was delicious, the highlight of the dinner was the wagyu steak and mashed potatoes.. Perfection!
Best Kosher restaurant in NY I have ever been to. Very pricey but worth it for a special occasion.Everything is top notch: service, ambiance, and of course the food.Would highly recommend!
Wow. Everything was perfect. From the food, to the wine, and the service itself, I couldnt find one negative thing to say about this place. I enjoyed every bite, every minute I was there. Keep in mind that it is priced accordingly, but totally worth it.
Great food. Great ambiance. Great service and great location. Overall great!
I never ate in the most trendy and truly and stunning kosher restaurant in my 52 years of my life. The service, atmosphere, decor, exquisite and breathtaking wine display and the most pallet pleasing food that I ever ate and I have exceptionally high standards with food and restaurant. This place is off the charts in kosher dining and I highly recommend this place to everyone, frum or not. Just impressive and above all standards of how a restaurant should be! Thank you for the best meal with the most delicious 🍷 as well. The lamp was so flavorful and the sushi and the filet mignon wow wow
Reserve Cut never disappoints. The absolute best steak on Wall Street. Although I don’t keep kosher, this is my favorite kosher restaurant in the entire country.
Fanciest kosher restaurant in NY. I took my french family there and they couldn’t believe how incredibly good everything was!! We had such a great experience!! The food was amazing and the waiter was really nice.I definitely recommend this place.
Had a wonderful meal with my family from L.A. The staff and especially Mr. Lopez could not have been nicer. He actually took my 15 year old cousins on a trip of the kitchen and they came back with food. What a treat. BTW--- the food was superb.
Quite possibly the finest kosher restaurant in Manhattan. Only downside is the super high price point, but its not out of touch with its target audience (restaurant is right by Wall Street). Super professional staff, and incredibly fast service for such a busy place. There are probably ~100 people there in the evening, but the venue is huge, classy, and relatively quiet. Wagyu beef highly recommended... and perfect place for either business, family, or romantic occasions.
Great kosher restaurant is like the tallest midget. Food was solid but overpriced even by NY standards, the restaurant was loud, and the service was brusque. But the wine list was the biggest disappointment - Israeli drek that was barely drinkable, with a couple mediocre wines from France and California - we tried at least 6 different highly recommended reds from $150-350 per bottle. If you are a wine lover, drink the beer.
Incredible experience. The service and the food were outstanding. My sushi was absolutely incredible and I loved my steak.
Absolutely amazing...The best steak i ever had
Nice, very fancy. Ribs are heavenly! Will return.
Food wasnt too bad the service was terrible waiter had terrible attitude when I was nice enough to leave a tip he turned to me and said thats it!! The chairs there are comfortable
This used to be my favorite Kosher Restaurant. While I was so happy to come back to had an amazing steak, I left with a huge disappointment. If you are charging 135 USD for a Wagyu steak, there should be no room for misses. First, the steak came cold and second it was completely dried out, not a single bit of juice (ordered it Medium) and it was also chewy and not that tender as you would have expected. 400 USD check just to have an average meal. Not sure if next time Ill be coming back.
Great delicious food and cocktails. very very good service
The food and service is unmatched
Great food! Experience was perfect. This is my third time here. First time I wasnt much of a fan with service. However the last two times were great!
Cool place to have a decent meal. File mignon was so delicious. and staff is great and professional. Was nice to talk with András the Hungarian waiter
Very Good Food and Service
Very nice resturant. Fancy place.
A very upscale Kosher steak restaurant. Great service.
We had a reservation for 6, and had to cancel due to an emergency for a client due to COVID, and the restaurant was NOT understanding at all, and aggressively stated that regardless of the reasoning they needed to charge up $50 per person for cancelation ($300) total.I tried to cancel via opentable on Sunday and Monday morning and they don’t allow that, probably so they could charge customers for canceling..Not transparent and definitely not hospitable. Seems to be in the wrong business for hospitality.
This is by far the best restaurant I have ever been to in my entire life.Me and my family went to dinner over the holidays. The sushi was incredible. I mean really really incredible. Rivaling Katsuya or any other trendy very fancy sushi restaurant.Soup of the day it was delicious. All of their sides are so good. I highly recommend the brussels sprouts. This is all so, like, the only kosher restaurant to even serve brussels sprouts.Highly recommend.
I was really impressed how good everything was the food was delicious didnt have to wait long for the food the service was outstanding the waitress was very friendly and helpful to make the choices for the food and it wasnt so expensive that I thought it will be! Would definitely go back again there! And I would recommend it to anyone who needs a special night out.
Wow. This restaurant is truly amazing.Food, service and ambiance is at highest level.Loved it
Very romantic, cosy placeLove the vibes
Absolutely phenomenal place! Love it.Everything is perfect for me. Atmosphere, design, service, and food absolutely first class. Highly recommended!
Such a bad food!!! All the meat was burnt! such a bad experience! the worst waitress! So rude and unpolite. do not recommend to nobody that like good food. DO NOT GO THERE!
100% KOSHER - best date spot (birthdays and anniversary)Very dim lit restaurant with delicious and fancy food options. This place is all about meat and wine.Specifically try the pulled beef or brisket tacoAnd the simple steak is cooked to perfection!Staple of FIDI
Wow Great and Wonderful Highest class Kosher food Ive ever had!Tnx
Its a very nice place but all the main foods that we got were tasteless and very unimpressive which is disappointing considering the steep prices. It didnt make the cut.
Still the best, fine dining kosher restaurant in NYC. If youre willing to schlep to the financial district, you wont be disappointed.
Great food and a great ambiance and service.
They only use the best meats and seafood here. Best pieces of sashimi Ive ever had (Toro tuna special). Even the sliders are made out of Wagyu, though I opted for a massive dry aged steak. Great wine and beverage selection too.Loved the decor, furnishings, and layout, with different styled areas for different crowds. The waiters were calm, smiling, and courteous. It was very busy, so our mains and desserts were slow in arriving (appetizers, beverages, and complimentary breads and dips are life-savers in places like this), but not much more so than most upscale restaurants. They saved a seat for us in a corner near the glass walled kitchen. It was louder than I expected, although we did have visual privacy. This was thanks to the out of the way table, and the other table in that corner magically stayed empty for most of our stay, and, of course, the precisely dimmed lighting along that wall. Please note that this visit was a year and a half ago.Since then Ive also ordered a lunch to be delivered to an office building. They offer to deliver a full, sealed with kosher tape, dinner setting, including china plates, metal cutlery and a linen napkin. The delivery man was very patient, despite not realizing that he could leave the meal with reception. The food was delicious. Chicken sandwich, steak salad, and melt in your mouth cinnamon donut holes.Btw Setai means household in Japanese. In the context of this classy downtown building, 2nd Setai means the second floor :).
The best sushi in NYC & great atmosphere! Recommend.
2nd floor on blocked off street, Ribs was good, waiters looking to please. Bread was hard. Tuna tartar was old. Mohito tasted great but in general food looked like it wasnt fresh. Maybe wagyu steak next time but at 200+ dollars, better be amazing.
The quality of the food was not all that at all. The steaks were very average and so were the appetizers. We we complained about the quality they didn’t seem to care. They were late bringing us feb desserts and decided not serve when we said it’s already too late. Will not come back here ever.
Beautiful restaurant with great service, BUT WITH THE WORST STEAK THAT I EVER TASTED. My wife ordered a Filet Mignon, and the waitress brought a thin , 1/4” steak that didn’t look like a filet mignon. When I pointed it out to her, the waitress said that they “butterflied the steak before cooking it”.My wife took a bite and put her fork down. She didn’t like it at all and said it tasted like burnt stale oil. I took a bite of her steak and it was so bad and off that I had to spit it out. We returned the steak, and then the manager came over and apologized. He said that he “tasted” my wife’s steak and offered her to order something else. We decided not to. We shared my steak which was supposed to be prepared “medium “, but was RAW.I had ordered sweetbreads for appetizer which was just two large chunks deep fried in oil and was tasteless. Basically worst steaks we ever had. One star only for decor and service.
Superb! Its still not my favorite stake house, but we go there fairly often.
Great service!!Amazing atmosphere.Incredible good food!!Recommended..!!
If your ready to pay for an amazing dinner this is the place you should splurge,From welcoming you in, sitting you down in your place, and the food coming out quick, waiters always there to help, a wine connoisseurs ready to help as well, and then the steak is just next level, cooked and flavoured to profection. I really enjoyed my evening here and I recommended it!
Phenomenal service, food came out quick, waiters were friendly and were patient in explaining the specials and different items on the menu. Most of all, the food was very good and ambiance was great as well.
Atmosphere was great!Food was beyond delicious!!Service is top notch!Great ambiance!Definitely going again and again!!
The best restaurant in NYC!!!
Restaurant is amazingFood is amazingAmbiance amazingBut the service is just une big 0 , managers just don’t care ..
This is a unique place, the food is just mouthwatering delicious. Every piece of food is cooked exactly how you want it,to your liking. The setting is just perfect. All and all this is my best place to dine in!!!😀😀😀😀
I have been here a lot of times every time Im there I just have a great experienceLove the food and atmosphereI miss the donuts dessert, it was delicious 😋Parking is a little hard because you cant park next to the restaurant but its still worth it
Great food Great experience
I will say that the food here is quite good. But is the experience worth the price? In my opinion, no. Ive received sub-par service here – basic lapses which are unacceptable for a place with such high pretensions.
Out of this world. Amazing experience with excellent food.
