Sallys Bar

Hated it. I didnt get any service. The bartender saw me but just stayed talking to a group of guys. I had to ask my guy friend to come stand next to me so I could get service. Once he did, I got my beer.

This is a great bar.Great bartender Inna But I would love For them to get some hazy IPA,s on tap 🙏🏽💪🏽

I’ve been going to Sally’s and tipsy for a while now. Both bars are a great experience because of bartenders like Fernanda.However, I’ve seen many situations of homeless people and even your everyday folks getting aggressive with the staff members. It’s a shame the owner doesn’t care enough to add a bouncer at these bars to protect their staff and even their customers who pay to keep the places open.Because of the lack of safety in these bars, I won’t be coming by as often anymore.

Really nice chill bar. They have some tables in the back for small groups and you can play beer pong. Fairly priced. They give you popcorn. Not sure about food. But still a nice spot.

I wish I could give it 0 stars, so I could keep it hidden, but that’s not fair to this establishment. Definitely not for everyone, but affordable drinks and a great bar tender are here. You’re allowed to bring outside food, and it’s awesome during happy hour hour. Great bar with cool leather seating and the ambiance is amazing.

I had such a great time! Molly was such a great bartender and made sure we had a great time! I’ll definitely be coming here again!!!

Wow. Wish I could rate even lower. bartender is extremely rude and nasty. She listens to people in the restroom and is discriminatory and racist. I know many of you do not care as it doesn’t affect you. But I truly don’t recommend for any African Americans looking to enjoy a nice after work drink. I would never spend a dime here 0/10

Good music (throwbacks!!) and good vibes (pretty dive). drinks are pretty affordable (12ish) for nyc (the whiskey sour was ok but expectations weren’t too high) came around 10pm on a saturday night and it wasn’t too crowded

My wife and I stopped here after an early show. This is a really homey, local-feeling bar with no frills. Drinks were really good and very reasonably priced. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Definitely a great spot for some drinks and conversation. Will be back for sure.

Bartender got annoyed when we walked past her outside …( as if somehow we were supposed to know she was the bartender while she was smoking outside ) … she literally went to everyone giving them popcorn except us the only Hispanic people. .. ✌️

Dirty taps when I went last time only gonna stick with bottles next time. Tried two different beers both had off tastes. Im not a beer snob I just expect Brooklyn or New Castle beer to taste like it should. Happy hour is eh.. But then most bars around here are just as bad. Bartenders are quick and friendly.

I frequent Sallys bar during the week and weekends regularly. Good looking staff and customers. They always have a drink special and everyone smiles.

Decent cheap bar where the liquor isnt that expensive and the waitresses are attractive. This place can get a bit crowded and you might not be able to sit, but its never too obnoxious. If youre here, you should definitely get a pickle back - its one of their specials.

No matter day or night, theres always someone in here chilling out.The back has private seating along with video games!

Great place. Usually when the bartenders are super attractive in short shorts I expect the worst . . . but here they were nothing but nice and attentive. Not too chatty and overbearing . . . and they bought my girlfriends and I a round of shots (and did one with us!) which was super sweet of them. I feel like the people always make the place and I get nothing but good vibes here.And the drinks are cheap too! Especially since Im a broke college kid at Baruch, finding a fun affordable place in the neighborhood was key. Free popcorn too;) Ill definitely be back.

Good dive bar for the neighborhood. Nothing more nothing less. Music went from Limp Bizkit all the way to hip hop and back. Beers were $7 each. Service was alright. Come here for a good divy experience!

The female bartender was kinda cute. The music is a bit too loud for my taste, the drinks were value for money! Id recommend grabbing a drink here with your buddies if you are in town and up for a drink!

Sallys is such a hidden gem in Kips Bay/Murray Hill area. The staff, especially Arun, is really friendly, and the prices cannot be beat anywhere in the city. Highly recommend as a weeknight happy hour spot, or for a fun night out on the weekend!

They show a picture of popcorn on website but only ones eating that were the employees right out of the machine. Also had to be shown by patrons where common drinks were located.

Very laid-back atmosphere. The staff was attentive from the moment we walked through the door. The cocktails were delicious and they had a variety of my favorite beers. Although we didnt eat any food, the food from the other customers looked and smelled amazing. Would definitely visit again.

Been coming here regularly for over a year now and can say this is one of my favorite dive bars in the city.The bartenders are all friendly a great time. If you decide to come to Sallys bar whether by yourself or with a few friends you will enjoy yourself.

Literally the blond with sharpie thick eyebrows and fried straight hair was so unbelievably rude. Also, they kept messing up how much to charge us I was completely sober and deadass if I was drunk they would’ve taken advantage of me not knowing. Not good only thing that’s nice is the drinks but they’re average cost, not at all cheap in price

A local beer bar, open late. We showed up at 2am, and there was still beer pong set up at the back table to play. High-quality music (all the hits). It wasn’t particularly cool.

This is the best Dive Bar in NYC hands down! Great drinks. They have disco lights and fog machines and beer pong and great music! If you are the type to still want to have a good time but dont like the club scene this is the place for you. They have great bartenders! Megan, Arun, Gintare, are just a few who ive had but the ABSOLUTE GOAT was Sara! Go check this place out!

Very chill atmosphere, they have a couple arcade games, and two beer pong tables. I didn’t get the bartenders name but she was very pleasant! A chill rock and roll vibe, great for catching up with friends etc on weekdays when it’s not so crowded.

Handled our corporate outing. Big ol pitchers of margaritas frozen or not. Great time.

Music was fantastic!!! Unfortunately, my drink wasnt. Ordered an old fashioned but I could taste sugar grains in my drink. It wasnt very crowded for Saturday night at 10pm but that was a good thing. Ill go again but not order cocktails.

This is a dive bar but strong drinks and extremely friendly staff and customers.

Good bar for a chill Friday or Saturday night. This bar is not overcrowded with drunk people, which is a plus in my book, and you can actually hear what your friends are saying as the music is not overpowering. The venue is pretty narrow so dont stand right by the bar if you mind people brushing against you. Besides weekends, the bar is also good for watching sports as they got big screen TVs, so you can combine friends, drinks and sports into 1 bar.

I used to like this place and was a regular visitor. In my last visit, I had opened a tap and the bartender gave my credit card to his friend by the time I had come to close. He tried to give some other credit card to me. He said he knows who he gave it to and he will come back and return in an hour and I can come back.By the time I stepped out and went to the restaurant opposite the road to check my transactions, it was already used 3 times totalling to 300$. I had to block the card immediately.Management please take note of the practices
