Magnificent Tap room, selection of beer in total is a bit limited BUT the staff and regulars make up for that. Fun place to hang after a day out in Manhattan and to relax and unwind.Clean, fair prices and fantastic music :) if I ever make my way out to NY again will be sure to visit this place once more.

We came here every evening during our stay in NYC. Its a small, local bar with an amazing atmosphere and even better beer choice. They also serve great quality classic pub cuisine. Be sure to try their sandwiches, burgers and spicy buffalo wings. Its really a perfect place to unwind after a busy day of sightseeing in New York.

Me and my friend walked by this place and stopped for a burger lunch randomly. They have big outdoor seating area with TV that shows sports and huge selection of beer.Service was outstanding and burger was really amazing. Burger was $13.95 plus $1 for cheese and $2 to get side salad or sweet potato fries or onion rings. It was very satisfactory and ended up with nice simple lunch stop.

Hellcat Annie’s… I mean Scruffy Duffy’s. I’m confused, who cares. There lots of beer choices, pool, darts, trivia and beer. This is my type of bar.

Replacing the Pony Bar that was previously in this location, Hellcat Annies still retains a lot of the same feel and atmosphere. Great selection of craft beer and decent food.

Went in to sample their world famous wings! What can I say, they were amazing and Anne behind the bar provided fantastic customer service! Anne provided great information about their menu along with their vast drinks menu, I couldnt recommend Annies highly enough!

First night back in NYC and found this gem of a bar a block or so from Yotel where we were staying. The bar was packed with locals for the Nicks game and the atmosphere was fantastic. Bar staff were quick and real nice. Got me a couple bourbon old fashioneds and gin for the missus. Well made drinks and not shy with the booze. I loved it.

I have been coming here for years and it used to be one of my favorite beer bars in NY. Im really sad about how it has changed. It went from having tvs that listed the beers on tap and a charming new beer bell ritual to just another sports bar. It is probably a better than average spots bar with an OK beer list, but has lost its character.

If you like good beer you owe it to yourself to check this place out. They have an excellent rotating selection of beer, and the service is always great. The bartenders are very friendly and approachable, and they have no problem making recommendations or even letting you try the different beers. It can get crowded at time, but not uncomfortable. Definitely one of my favorite bars in the city.

Just stopped in for a couple beers and a quick bite, but was very impressed even in that brief time. The service was friendly and prompt, the beer selection was great and the Bavarian pretzels were delicious. Highly recommend if youre looking for a craft beer bar with a laid back vibe.

The craft beer selection is awesome and well priced at happy hour. Definitely try the hot honey wing sauce: its absolutely delicious. Beef brisket sandwich was also very juicy, served with fresh fries.Outdoor dining is also well done with heat lamps.4 stars not 5 because the buffalo chicken sandwich was disappointingly dry and bland. Suggest Hellcat Annies look into that sandwich.

Ive only been on a break from, so Ive never been able to try their beer selection, but the food has been fairly good. Ive thoroughly enjoyed their wings! But the service is just so slow and the food take a while to come out. I wish I could enjoy the experience more, but I dont enjoy chasing down wait staff to get attention.

This is a small bar with 2 single stall bathrooms (male & female.) There are very few tables and table service doesnt include drinks. Youll have to order those and eye the bartender until its ready for you to pick up. The impossible burger was great, but I wish they offered vegan cheese to go with it. Their fries were delicious. Id visit this place again.

A great place for good beers and food. Large selection of draft beer. They even understood Norwegian accent, kudos. I had pulled pork and it was really tasty. The homemade bun, was moist and so was the pork. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and partyish even on a Thursday.

Great spot to stumble into in the daytime or the late night. Theyve got one of the best pandemic-built structures outside and inside is just as cozy. Full on tap list with plenty to choose from and the food aint half bad either! Definitely a fun spot.

The place is great, not big but not claustrophobic, beer selection is really good, tap beers are majority, and the menu is small but really good, NOT FOR VEGANS, the portions are good for the price and the taste is awesome, NOTE: most of the menu is a cholesterol bomb but is like heaven sent!!Update:Name changed to Annies Hellcat tap room, still awesome

Last minute decision that I don’t regret. The burger was done and juicy how I like them. The Grilled Rib and Cheese was amazing. Nice selection of brews and got the Pain Killer, a pineapple based drink that was also amazing.

Beer centric bar catering to a younger crowd. They have a good selection of what appear to be rotating drafts at reasonable prices. Not as crowded as other places in Hells Kitchen and they werent blasting music later at night which made for a good environment for going out with friends who want to have productive conversation. Definitely worth a visit if you are on a craft beer tour of New York.

I absolutely LOVE it here. I came with a group of five friends about a month ago and then again with my boyfriend a few nights ago. They have an awesome selection of beers, cocktails, and food. Also, their playlist is awesome. Definitely gonna make this a regular spot!

I’ll admit up front that this rating is partially attached to how the bar was before the owners split up. It used to be an out-of-this-world rotating craft beer bar that had built a great following over the decade it was around. And while Annie’s seems to be slowly inching back towards a more diverse beer bar, I miss the days when you couldn’t even think about getting a seat at the bar on a Friday or Saturday night. Now it’s sort of a normal corner bar, filled with the last bit of local regulars that have stuck around.

Went here on 10/6/18. The atmosphere was great! The locals were talkative and fun and so was the bartender who had the three deathly hollows tattoo on his left arm. Food was great i reccomend the chedder bacon ranch fries but make sure you have people to share with they give you a lot. Great selection of drinks as well, something for everyone. It is a little small on the inside but that wasnt an issue at the time i went which was a little pass noon.

I love this place. They have an excelent selection of craft beers from all over the US. They are really good prices, mostly at only $5. Its sort of a small space so it gets crowded but its one of my favorite bars in town. Their selections change a lot too so there is always something new. A must for someone who enjoys microbrews.

My corned beef was half pink and half brown, it would have been 1 star but the fries were good. Hostess was nice.Update: owner replied they don’t sell corned beef and accused me of being drunk. Great, lively bar, when you can get it. The constant crowds during peak hours make it difficult, but when its more manageable, you can experiment with some great beers and mingle with patrons of all types. People who like Pony Bar are very loyal, and its worthwhile to find out why.

A great local pub with live music the night I was there. A duet playing cool tunes on guitars. The sliders were juicy and tasty, and the wings were tasty as well. From what I remember, there was no option for super hot wings....but thats not really a deal breaker.

Very friendly staff good beers on tap and really delicious wings. My one criticism would be that they really need to reevaluate their fish tacos as they were bland and uninspired with no hint of mango or habanero and very small portions of fish loaded with iceberg lettuce and canned corn. Aside from that the pretzel bites, wings, and especially the fries are all great!

Sweet little divey/quiet bar in Hell Kitchen. Stopped in briefly around 730pm in a Tuesday, pre-movie, and found a solid draft list at decent priced ($7/$8) and varied draft list. Didnt get to try the food, but the place smelled of wings, which is always a good thing. Bartenders were attentive and jovial, as well. Check it out.

If you are a beer person make your way here. Lots of choices and options for every drinker. The vibe is sexy and cool but casual. Kind of modern and a throwback: I threw a birthday party here for 25 people and it was a huge success. Everyone celebrated happily.

I live in Hells Kitchen but Im low income. This is one of the few low-key spots closeby that doesnt make me regret going there when I go to pay the bill. Good food, friendly bartenders, good selection. A bit of an older crowd, its not going to be filled with artists, hipsters, or tourists.

Walking in here brought ideas of what a neighborhood bar should be. Lively, a large beer collection, and some energetic staff. It was kind of cool to see two people on the same night finish their beer challenge. If I remember correctly, they have to have ordered all the types of beer at the bar. Typical burgers and fries available.

I guess if you live in NYC, you think this is a good bar because its that hard for you to get out and see whats really out there in the micro-brew or craft brew scene. Four people were in the bar and the bartender still managed to be pretentious and too busy prepping for the evening rush to actually provide decent service and knew nothing about the beer. The cask ale was terrible and nowhere close to a proper temperature (it was too warm ~65-70 degrees). While I went on an apparent Founders theme (all but one tap was Founders) and they do make good beer, there is more to life than one beer company. I guess if youre a hipster who wants to think you know about the craft scene and want to feel like youre part of the hipster scene and feel good, I guess this is the spot for you. as for me, Ill hit up a proper pint somewhere else. Maybe I just went on a bad day.

We came to hellcat annie’s for a late lunch during our stay in New York. We were greeted kindly and offered drinks immediately. We thought the prices for the location were very reasonable and the food was lovely. We had burger and fries, 2 beers and 2 vodka lemonades. Would recommend this place 100% :))

Had a nice stop there for lunch. Loved the service and the atmosphere. I thought the tap selection was very diverse and had a lot of local brews.and it was nice to see that they had the impossible burger on their menu for vegans and vegetarians. Would definitely make a stop there again!

I wish I drank more beer, because Pony has a great selection of craft beers on tap that rotate regularly. However, the bartender didnt shoot me a funny look when I ordered a glass of wine. It stays busy pretty much all night, but if you can find a seat, take it and dont move.

See, The Pony Bar only stocks one keg of each beer; meaning that once it runs out its gone and they must rotate in a brand new beer. Ive frequented The Pony Bar numerous times with various groups of friends, and it never disappoints. If you like trying many different kinds of beers (mostly local/domestic), this is the place for you.

Whenever I find out about another bar that serves craft beer, I smile inside a little bit. I know that the mega-breweries still hold a commanding place in the market, but every time somebody really enjoys their pint of whatever, its that much better for the little guy.Pony Bar not only does that, but keeps it on the American tip, which is really cool too, though I cant help but wonder if they didnt get the idea from Barcade (aka Im too lazy to find out).But either way, this is a very decent bar. Busy, but not overcrowded. Far enough away from Times Square not to be overrun with tourists. Loud but not raucous crowd. I wouldnt seek it out, as there are plenty of other craft beer bars in the city that are similarly good, but if it were my hood, Id be in there quite a bit.

Simple. Screens that change as the beers do. Great prices on said beers, ESPECIALLY for New York. Awesome selection. Attentive bartenders. Unpretentious atmosphere. One thing to note: the music was very loud when I was there and we had to do some shouting just to be heard across the table.

Interesting crowd was here on a rainy Saturday night. I enjoyed my drinks ajdbthe bartenders were friendly. It is a chill spot if that is what you are looking for. They do have many options on their food menu, so that may bring me back.

I popped into here on my first snowy night in NYC, it was fairly busy. Which was a shame as it meant I didnt really get opportunity to chat to any of the bar staff which was my aim. The selection of beers was excellent even if it wasnt to my taste.

Sadly I used to love this place and frequent it anytime I was in Hells Kitchen. Back in June, I attempted to use a gift card to pay for a few beers and eats for my friend and I. They tried to run the card several times, but told me it wasnt going through. So my friend gave them his card, which they charged. I found out later a charge WAS placed on my card after all. After months of calling the restaurant to try to rectify this double billing, they are simply not helping me. I cant ever step foot in there again with their extreme disrespect to customers, and inability to help solve this simple problem.

Dont let the size of this bar fool you. The list of beers on tap changes hourly as one of the many pony kegs runs out. And at $5/beer, you can easily rationalize trying everything on the menu.Love it!

ORDER AT THE BAR. Its written everywhere, but sometimes you just tune out the signs. Dont accidentally sit at a table and expect to be served, you will be waiting until judgement day. Beer selection here is good, a solid mix of styles.

Awesome place went during fleet week and had a blast, the bartenders were super friendly! Food is typical bar fare but really not bad. They have a challenge to hang by your hands from a bar and if you make it 2 mins you get a free beer and a T shirt, my friend and I both tried and made it 1:06 and 1:46 respectively, but the bartender bought us a round anyway! Will definitely be returning!

One of the best bars in the city (IMHO), certainly the best midtown bar west of 9th avenue. Come here for a fantastic selection of beer on tap (always rotating), and VERY reasonably priced pints.

The bartenders were impatient and rude. First time exploring the area on 01/07/17. but saw this bar so stumbled inside. Me and my two friends were looking through yelp on which drinks/food were recommended. Took us awhile to look because of our bad phone receptions; however, the bartenders assumed we were all there to just steal their wifi just because my one friend asked for it to better load her internet. He asked us what to order once and we told them we are trying to figure that out on the phone. Then second time he came he basically kicked us out for just sitting there. Relax dude, noone just want to sit there and just use your wifi at 1am especially when you basically get free wifi anywhere in nyc. Im a bartender too so their actions were unnecessary. Instead of rushing us girls why dont you recommend and help us on your menu if youre that inpatient. Under 10 mins we got mad how rude they were so we got up and left to Rudys which is a much better joint with patient and helpful service. So, save yourself the headache and go to Rudys,

Youd be forgiven if you looked up from your craft beer and thought you were in Austin. Saddle up on a stool at a barrel or sit at the long, low kids tables or pony up to the bar. They have a good beer selection (Bells Oberon FTW) including cask specialities.

Had a great time great crowd the DJ there was playing good music the crowd is a little younger which is fine and theres 99 Cent Pizza right around the corner from the place. Not to mention the fact that stay open till about 4 a.m. .

We had a great Saturday afternoon here. It was pretty busy and the lovely bartender was covering the entire crowd on her own. Normally that would have been a negative but, not only was she excellent in her profession, but very patient as well. I liked the “no table service “ policy, in part because I required that I move every now and again if I wanted beer. I had two great IPA’s that I hadn’t known before and noted some to try next time.Food was good but predictable.

We stop here before heading to a company function in the area. The place is on the smaller size but it wasn’t bad on a Thursday evening. They do have a wonderful beer selection if you are into craft beer. Actually found a really good sour that night. We are also fried pickles fans but unfortunately their pickles were lacking.

We ended up here to watch the NFL on a Saturday, while visiting nyc, and it was THE BEST VIBE. We ended up staying for like 6 hours. Packed house. They have a game everyone plays to win free drinks for the bar during football. The server with the ponytail was just killing it managing the place so well we asked if he was the owner and hes not but he deserves to be!

Amazing tap room with good service and a good selection of brews. The Irish gal behind the bar had great customer service, and we loved the seasonal options. The place has a laid back, cozy vibe, more like a small town pub, very different from other more tacky venues around the west end.

Really tried to like this place more since it’s in my neighborhood. Food is decent but the drinks are not priced well for a good casual go to spot. Last few times my mixed drinks were either pretty weak or overpriced.Plan to try new places.

Normally not into artisan pizza, but this stuff was excellent. Never would have thought honey on pizza would be something I would ask for.

This used to be the Whitehouse Bar from where gangster Mickey Spillane ran his business. That’s why I go there! #Westies
