The folks here are very friendly and nice. Burgers are amaazzzing. Be careful not to bite your tongue from how savory the burgers are.

Updated in 5th July.I back in another time and had good experience then I back 2 times more and my experience was amazing and the burguer 5 ⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐.So Im updating my review in base my news experience and the quality of the food.The burguer super fresh in all aspects and taste.AMAZING!-------------Oldest review.More 25 minutes to wait a doble smash burger is unbelievable for a fast food.This happen now 9:15 I ordered my order but never received because I couldnt be awaiting more.I hope they minimum give my order for another person to not waste the food.Stuff more organized, the same ladies selling, preparing food, delivering orders in table and organizing the space.Bad bad bad!SUPER BAD EXPERIENCE I do not recommend this place, also in another visit I ordered a doble bacon and they give me without bacon 😴😴😴.

Pretty disappointing burger and service... The girl at the counter made me wait for 10 mins to order because she was counting bills, eventually I decided to order online, but the guy preparing the bags was ignoring me as my order was sitting at the counter.The burger is sad looking, it lacks flavor and its unnecessarily greasy. There is a lot better options in NYC...

Burger was good, I had the Classic Smash burger double. That’s the best burger there, very nice.But the fries are horrible, just oil oil.

I would say this was slightly elevated fast food. So I rated it a 5 compared to other fast food chains. I got the brisket on my smash burger and it was tender and juicy. I thought it would be more of a mess but the large soft burger bun actually holds all the contents pretty well. I don’t like tater tot’s so I just got regular fries. The sandwich was pretty tasty. I think if you don’t want to go to your average burger fast food chain, this is a change of pace. The staff is great. The restaurant was clean and spacious with upstairs and downstairs seating. Not bad at all. Better than I expected.

Burger was delicious. Its would be 5 stars if not for the fact that the bottled diet Coke I received was past the expiration date by a month. It was a little flat.

As a European, a very good burger.Staff were friendly but a bit disinterested.It could also have been a bit cleaner.PS: Must admit though that every burger in the USA tastes better than here in Austria :)

The food, the service and the menu are very good. The quality of the food was good. I just feel like the dining room could be more of a comfortable setting. The seats are very hard wooden seats and just around the windows theres no really dining area that has ample seating and comfort.

I was excited to try Smashburger but was let down big time. Half the fountain drinks were out. I had to send back the fries as they were ice cold. The replacements were in a puddle of grease and soggy (though they were hot). Burger was fine. Nothing to write home about. Wont be back. Dont buy into the hype.

Great burger and chicken fingers. For a fast food restaurant this one us actually not bad at all. Right next to the Madison Square Garden so if you are early for a show it can be a great spot to stop for a relatively quick bite to eat.

We went there before an event in MSG, and I do have to say I was a bit disappointed. The only thing smashburger about this place is the name apparently.Burgers are okay, but a lot of things can be improved, like the meat quality and seasoning.Our order was somehow messed up as we had to go back to the counter three times because a couple of things were missing.Nonetheless, the employees were all very nice and tried to help, but it’s still frustrating.

Sometimes the hype is not worth it.I’ve been hearing about Smash Burger for a while and was excited to try them out. The service was slow and by the time I got my burger it was cold.The bigger was not flavorful at all and the beef patty was very dry. Not sure I will try this again, but if I do it will be at another location in the city

Smashburger offers a solid NYC-style double smash burger with crispy patties and great toppings. The crispy chicken sandwich was decent. A great spot for a quick bite before heading to MSG.

Their burgers are delicious! We ordered some of their smash burgers and a chicken sandwhich, and they all turned out well. Their smash fries and hot fries are nice as well, although super oily. I will say that their service during peak hours was very underwhelming as it took more than 30 minutes to receive our food. The cooks were inefficient in putting out food and the servers couldnt sort through the orders quick enough to get them to tables. Other than that, its a great burger spot to check out near Penn Station.

Overall would eat again as decent burger and next to the station. I am in and out of penn a lot so happy for a good burger. Price is a bit high for me so generally will only do if grabbing a bite during a work meal.

Was there with family. The attention from Rosceeni was awesome. She brought our food to us and made sure we had everything we needed. Food was great also. The manager was there and was very nice as well.

Typically the wait is long but Today I waited 40 mins and still didnt get my food. I ordered 2 things that normally take 10-15 mins tops (chicken fingers and fries). While I was given a refund, the experience at this locations has progressively gotten worse and is in need of proper training so orders dont get lost and food can be served to guests efficiently.

This was actually the worst experience of my life. I came here with two friends and two of them ordered just a chicken sandwich. After an hour of waiting, we were STILL waiting for just the chicken sandwich. The food wasn’t even good enough for us to be waiting that long for one singular item. I ordered a classic burger and added bacon on top, after waiting for the longest time I received my burger with NO toppings on top, just the meat and the bun. What the hell? Genuinely I do not understand how people can be so incompetent, maybe things would be done better if they stopped shit talking and just start thinking instead ❤️ the soda machine wasn’t even on and they didn’t even give me a cup for my drink. Why do I have to tell you how to do your job???

If you’re looking for a $9 “smash” burger served by a mean girls style staff, home sweet home… waitress will laugh at you in Spanish with their colleagues and take your receipt out of your hand to see if you’ve paid tips. Saw one of the staff sticking their hands in their mouth at the front register didnt wash their hands went on their phone. Ordered a burger and fries, only 2 people ordered food and its been 25 minutes. Ive been counting. Overall, one of the most unsanitary most disgusting places Ive ever been had to ask them to get my food which they somehow forgot about after 25 minutes and only three people ordering myself included people not following food preparation standards. Horrible service. Overall not worth going over

Took my boys here for lunch. Good burgers. Good tenders. Tasty fries. I like the drink selections. A bit pricy but it is Manhattan. 2 floors for easy sitting.

I must say this is the first time ever having smashburger and it was amazing. The burger was cooked well and the fries tasted great. I will definitely be coming back. Way better than shake shack. Staff was very friendly. The only thing I will say is that the fries werent that hot. They were kind of lukewarm. Other than that everything else was great.

Well burgers look tastier than they actually are. First off it is way to much oil added in everything. I ordered avacado burger no bacon and tots and the salad. Burger was dry and not juicy at all. And kinda tasteless. The tots were filled wilth oil. Atleast you can let them chill a bit for oil to drip off. They added them into the cup for serving right off. And the cup was filled with oil. I would say if you a burger lover dont come here you will be as dissemination as i was! And the salad was okay!

Rayme served me today. She had a very bad attitude and showed very little customer service skills. I wanted to review the place after my order. But she insisted I ordered first. After I ordered, she did not want to give me the free fries. Arguing with me that it was too late and that I had ordered the wrong fries. She then gave me cold fries and no straw with my cup. Luckily her colleague saw the drama she was causing and came to assist me. I managed to get my free fries for the review. But, then had to change my review to show my concern about Raymes behavior.She clearly does not like her job or maybe my race was an issue.

Mouhammad is the best person there, he constantly comes to check up on the costumers and make sure they have a good time. The location is lucky to have him.

The service was decent but only decent because the staff were working under harsh conditions it is 90 degrees today and the store is 110 degrees I’m standing here sweating I spoke to the manager and complained he mentioned that he did all he could the ac Is broken and has been broken for 3 day L’s the owners of this location should be ashamed to have a fullMinority staff working under these conditions. Never been here before -- in fact, never even heard if it -- but I just ate the best burger I’ve had in years. Absolutely delicious. The place looks run-of-the-mill but the food is outstanding. And even though one of the burgers was a complicated order, the cashier was friendly and efficient and the burger perfect!A+++++

I am currently standing in line waiting for my order……ticket time is currently 11 minutes….already not a great start. But to be waiting for food and hear staff say “ni**a this and ni**a that is very disheartening. Everyone waiting for food is confused by the language and more so that staff is standing around talking while my current ticket time is now 12 minutes. I hope employees currently on staff are looked into…..also my ticket says dine in…..and as per photos I received all food in a to go bag. Guess they didn’t want me to stay. I am highly offended by this establishment. I just hope the food is good….🤷🏾‍♂️Wish I could give zero stars for every time I heard the n word in one visit.Quick follow up…….food was delicious…..too bad the service is disrespectful at best.

Ordered a turkey burger and a regular burger from them on seamless. They sent the hamburger but no turkey burger. I called them and they said: we no longer sell turkey burgers. We dont know why you were able to order it. I asked for a refund for the burger they never sent and they said to call seamless. They were nasty and extremely unhelpful.

I haven’t been back to NYC for 12 years, came here last night and had such a dang good Smash burger with bacon and truffle, mayo, and cheese and fries that I came back the only other night I was here and ate it again, the best burger I’ve had in a long while and the prices are a value for New York City !! 5 stars!!

I almost forgot that a new spot opened by Penn Station. I camefor a fresh burger at first and the fry cook delivered a fresh one to savor. Aside from the chicken patty being overdone, the quality of my meal was satisfying.

SO GREASY!! Smash burger, this is the first time at a smash burger and I have to say Im a little disappointed. The food was delicious though, so I cant say I am fully done with this place.I got the spicy chicken tenders when I went, chicken at a smash burger I know, and they were really good. They made them fresh and they were pipin hot. The smash sauce I got with them was slightly too heavy on the mayo flavor for my taste and didnt meld with the tenders as much as I would have liked. My companions treated themselves to a smashburger and they were very satisfied. The main complaint I had was all of the food was dripping I mean absolutely sloshed in grease.Overall a decent establishment I feel like I would prefer other burger restaurants instead though.

I had a terrible experience here.I waited over 25 minutes for a milkshake that was mind you awful watery.There were 2 people infront of me and the whole restaurant was empty no delivery guys as well. I made an order pretty fast but waited for it for eternity.Just to add 2 guys came in after me ordered their burgers, got them and ate them before they even started to make my milkshake!Staff was also very rude, they didnt even call out my name when my order finally arrived they just placed it on a corner and then yelled well hers your shake.Such a shame!

Havent tried the food yet. I know its one star because everything is gross. Ketchup smeared on the floor. An employee dropped gloves on the floor and just picked them up and put them on, while leaving the rest of them on the floor. The establishment nor the employees look clean, generally. Im still going to eat it because a plus is you can see your food being cooked.

Cant beat Smash Burger for a quick and burger craving !! The staff are so happy, dancing and jovial. Cant beat that ! The Double classic burger was delicious as were the Brussel sprouts with ranch sauce and sweet potato fries, Well be back !

I love going to the Smashburgeron on 30th street. The food is great and the servers are the best. They are alway so pleasant and a joy. Especially Rochenny and Jina, the always have a big smile.

The burger done at 1:57 and give me at 2:18.The burger is cold. Totally bad.There system is bad and the employees are not well trained.

My first time everything was great. Since then everything has been bad. The food was cold or soaked in oil and even through it is an open kitchen they find a way to hide your food when they assemble it. And the wait is incredible. I’ve never seen more people standing around doing nothing but fidgeting. When someone hides your food in an open kitchen run. They’re up to no good.

Order food to go. Sat next to the register to wait 30 minutes to ask the counter person if my food was ready. Happens to be the bag sitting on the counter for the last 20 minutes....why ask for my name if youre not gonna say my order is ready

This is the best hamburger I ever got in New York City frfr. The burger was juicy spicy and delicious.Jackie was super nice, explicit about the menu, patient, smiling just amazingly welcoming. The worker was reluctant to tell me there was a bathroom and where it was even though I was clearly very much in distress due to fact I just had surgery near my uterus and really needed to pee. She then told me I had to buy something before she could give me the code. Why would it be mandatory to buy at a chain restaurant to use their bathroom?? So I told her I will buy something after I use the bathroom which she then reluctantly gave me the bathroom code but mumbled it and left out the pound but luckily a customer who was listening gave me the correct number. It’s a chain fast food restaurant so why are you requiring people to purchase to use the restroom?? Awful service, the workers lack empathy now I definitely wouldn’t eat at Smashburger and that location is very dirty.

Upon walking into the Spot, it looked good. Pretty Decently quiet for a burger place so close to Penn Station. Nice and clean. 2 story establishment. All good asthetically.The person at the register was very kind. Answered all of my questions having to do with my Girlfriends dairy allergy. She had even written everything down on the ticket.The problem comes when they got my girlfriends order wrong 3 times in a row:We asked specifically for a double bacon smash burger with mayo. No butter, no cheese. And with some fries.First they took forever to recognize that we had even ordered becuase we had a person come up to us and ask what we ordered. By then we had already been waiting 10 minutes.Another 10 minutes pass:First time they gave her a burger loaded with cheese and butter.We reminded her of my girlfriends dairy allergyThe second time:They give us a single burger with no mayoWe wait yet another 5 minutes and they finally get the order right.I want to chock this up to a bad day and this may be just a 1 off. But I just wanted to share my experience with this place.Because after all the mistakes the burgers themselves were great.

I ordered Double Classic Smash burger and it was delicious, the chicken wings were also very good. The kids menus hamburger was disappointing to say the least (it was just meat between to buns). I would say this place is worth a try.

Smashburger is a quality burger and the fries are tasty. The problem is this location. The customer service ranges from slow to pathetic. Food order delivery is always disorganized and half the time staff act with at best disinterest or at worst disdain for you being there. I enjoy the burger better than Five Guys, but Im wont to go there because the service is generally so much friendlier and quicker.

Great experience, cashier was polite and took my order right away. Food came out pretty quick and it was cooked perfectly. Had a double classic with sweet potato fries. They brought the food to the table, location was also very clean. Great job by smash burger. Their food is much better then shack shake with much more options. Overall a 5 star experience.

Smashburger serves up some tasty burgers, no doubt. However, the in-person service leaves much to be desired. Often felt ignored and the wait time consistently ranged between 45 minutes to an hour. Good food, but service and speed need serious improvement.

This was my first time at Smashburger!I got the Brisket Burger!!!! Totally exceeded my expectations. I hope I can find one closer to home. Because this burger was incredible!

The burgers used to be much bigger and they used to offer the fresh cut fries now the burgers are half the size and everything you add to it is like almost $2 more sorry but I am not paying that much for 4 slices of jalapeno that’s just insane I’m soo mad I took the subway for over an hour to get here just to be disappointed.

Cold food, even colder service. lady behind the bar was high, she spilled my beer, forgot to bring me another one and when i asked she put it on the bill. She also took my order wrong and made us wait for that wrong burger. After all that she started yelling and cursing because she didn’t get any tip for this terrible service. Avoid this place people they need to learn how to treat a customer!

Manager wasn’t very accommodating, I was waiting over an hour for just two burgers and two orders tots, which was ridiculous. I would recommend gateway mall smash burger instead of this location for better and quicker services.

Honestly, the price is not worth it. I had the rosemary fries. It was $3.99, nor the portion was decent and there wasnt a rich flavor to the fries, very average. The hamburger was not great, i believe it was the smash sauce which took away from the burger taste.

New Review as of 7/26/23- I dont usually write long reviews but the service at this location deserved it. I ordered a toasted gluten free bun with my turkey burger. Alexis handling take out gave me the order I checked the bun it was not toasted. I asked him if he could have them toast it. I was explaining why I wanted it toasted, he cuts me off as if he is so busy and he said what do you want to do Im trying to get the burger from you. Very rude! So I asked to speak to the manager. I get Jackie if thats even her name, proceeds to tell me we dont toast the bun. I explain to her Ive been to this location several times prior before her time and its been done with no problem. Again trying to explain why gluten free buns taste better that way to me. She asks me how did I pay then tries to process a refund, I said I want myfood just want it toasted. Now she is being short with me so I ask her why is she being so rude. She gives me a look no reply. She goes to the back to correct the order then I realize my train is coming- location is by Penn Station- I may not have time to wait again and honestly now Im nervous they may tamper with my food so now I ask for the refund. Alexis volunteers himself back in the conversation to say to me dont miss your train! when heard me ask for the manager and cashier their name. So now I had to ask for his too. He proudly shows me his badge as I took a picture and gave me the peace sign with his hands and continues to say dont miss your train as I walk out the door. This new team of employees are incredibly unpleasant and unprofessional. I will never go back to this location because its clear they are learning and being rewarded for rude behavior from management. I can pay 13.00 for a burger somewhere else that treats me with respect and act like they appreciate my hard earned dollars. It was a very disappointing and humilating experience. I hope they are trained better in the future and made known of this complaint.

Should be rated higher. An amazing burger, fries may be even better. Service also positive and on the spot - there’s something they do with their employees that is encouraging - they are very helpful. This is a favorite spot for me when taking Amtrak. Highly recommend!

HUGE COCKROACH ON TABLE BY WINDOW AND SODA MACHINE. None of the staff checked to help and the person at the register initially tried to have me not get a refund before going to get the manager who would not give me a receipt for my refund.The food was good, I was about to make a to go order for a friend when I saw the roach. It is very smoky and the staff doesn’t take the job seriously.

The staff here does not listen. They give you whatever they want to give you. We asked for two cheese burgers, one with cooked onions and the other without. Why did we get in the house and there is only 1 burger. And that is only the tip of the iceberg dont order your stuff through Uber. You will be disappointed. We love the food when they get it right.

The food was absolutely delicious I have been to other smash burgers but this one is by far the best because the staff was so welcoming.

First of all I have loved smashburger since I first had it in Dallas years ago. So I didnt hesitate to visit here. The food was delicious and fresh. The turkey burger was perfect but the fries were a little greasy. The cashier also omitted my tots from my order somehow. When it was clear that they should be on the order.

The service is terrible. When I arrived it was pretty empty, 2 people were ahead of me one guy ordered fries and the other one a burger. I wanted to grab food before I caught my train. The staff was joking around and playing with the food. They could not make the haystack onions I ordered bc they burnt the first batch and laughed about it. After waiting 16 min I asked what the hold up was and why I was waiting so long. Then one of the guys who was laughing and playing with the food yelled at me and told me it wasn’t their fault that my order was not complete. I had to leave without the haystack onions so I could make my train which I had 1 min to spare. I also watched the staff be rude to another black woman who was struggling with the phone chargers. Another customer was confused about where and how to order because no one was at the register. The place looks nice with a bar and everything but I will never go there again.

Absolutely appalling service at Smash Burger. I stood at the counter for a solid 15 minutes, and not a single staff member bothered to address me. Meanwhile, you have 5 other people complaining about their orders, also barely being addressed. Its more than just an oversight; its a clear indication of their lack of customer care. If this is how they operate, I wouldnt be surprised if they go out of business soon. A well-deserved one star.

I love Smashburger, I randomly popped into this Smashburger a few months back and I havent looked at shake shack or five guys again lol this Smashburger has a little less traffic than the others Ive seen in the city but I like the bar area and I like that the servers serve you your food at your seat. I do wish they had sauce pumps with bbq, hot sauce, smash sauce as well

This place is always so incredibly slow. It’s like they don’t know how to start cooking more than two orders at a time. It consistently takes 30 minutes for one burger and some fries when it’s not busy at all. Don’t go here if you’re trying to get something quick.

Got a rude look for ordering just a shake, it was melted considering they made it didnt get it until 30 min later after asking twice for it while Im staring at the counter. Air conditioner was also broken and I was sweating, and it wasnt even busy.

Way too slow. WAY TOO SLOW. Every time I come here I have to wait over 15 minutes for my food. Today there was no one on line and only two people were at tables with no food and it took a good while. I get it: Online orders. But its just too long a wait, especially with no line. The last time it took over 20 minutes. I cant wait that long for a burger and fries. I like Smashburger but not coming to this location anymore. I just dont have the time at lunch to wait like this.

This is what’s wrong with NYC. People don’t care anymore, and clearly very little attention paid to my order. Fries completely missing from order, no sauces for the wings, thrown together burger. At least Seamless came up with full refund. Won’t be ordering from here again.

Got a takeout. Smashburger is different everywhere but their fries are as oily as theyve ever been. Ill always eat here when Im hungry, love the taste. Staff is okay. Its right next to Jamaica station and its good for a quick bite

No vegetarian options available to order. Another person in our party ordered a chicken burger which was absolutely rotten. Also staff not helpful and were not happy at not getting a tip. No way am I leaving a tip for bad service.. also why expect a tip… they only bring the good to you and it’s hardly silver service. They are just doing a job

Took them 15min after my food arrived to get my beer. There were no napkins in my bag, and my side of ranch was empty.

Its such a shame we get 1-2 of these locations in nyc and theyre built to rot. Ill start with the food. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich and tots I ordered a burger with bacon, cheese and fries. My wife sandwich comes out with no side my burger comes out piled with pickles, mayo and sauces that I didnt want or order. I go back To the counter to ask for a new bun that isnt sopping in mayo and pickle juice (Id like to take the person who started the trend of putting mayo on burgers out back behind the shed) it takes 10 minutes for them to bring me a new bun in an empty restaurant. My wife never saw her side. The other massive issue with this location is: They need a bouncer. Each time we come here we are harassed by homeless men. They go around to all the tables while customers dine asking for money, food or a receipt bathroom code for the locked bathroom, presumably for paying customers only. Well we were asked for all 3 by 2 different homeless men (1 of home sat right next to us) within seconds of finally taking my 1st bite. When we politely asked if we could be left alone while we eat the 2nd man flew of the handle starts walking away cursing at us etc at that point we were done. As soon as I was done chewing my 1 bite, I gave my food to the man who sat at the table next to us and had the restaurant refund my cold, late order. The teenagers that run this location didnt seem to care very much. We asked for a manager and the girl at the register said it was her. When we told her we wanted a refund and she realized she didnt actually know how to do that then went to get a real manager so also seems like she was tryna lie about her position as wellI understand its difficult to deal with these situations but this location will not be open for long if customers dont feel safe eating here. This area is crawling with drug users and mentally ill and its very inappropriate to allow them to harass your patrons while theyre in your establishment

Service and ambience is very good. The burger was very good. The fries are not hand cut and not too good imo, as it has an olive oil taste. But buy a small and try them out if youre in the tick of things and want something nice and quick near Penn Station.

They always recognize me when I come in and they’re so nice- yelissa?? At the register always checks if they have gluten free buns when I walk in

Oh, I’ve a second thought before I try this resto and I should trust my vibe. Bbq wings for was so dry and very hard to bite, it seems like it’s not freshly made or they’re using air fryer that makes it dry, burger patties is burned/toasted and even the bread is dry. I gave 2 stars because the only thing I like is their french fries which is not oily and properly cooked.

Staff was extremely rude and it was just chaos inside. Waited 20 minute for my order and they even got the order wrong. Beef was not cooked properly and I asked for a black bean burger and ended up getting beef instead. All the staff is yelling and wearing their masks wrong so theres a chance theres spit in your food. The burgers were mediocre and they delayed the opening for extra training but it was just an unorganized mess inside. Do not recommend.

Smoked bacon brisket Burger is good. The Scorchin Hot tenders are great! They taste great, the chicken is super juicy, but probably too hot to handle for the average american.

Absolute waste of space doesn’t have any dipping sauces for their chicken and their bathroom is out of order. Also, the downstairs seating area is packed and the upstairs is “closed” - aka they don’t want to clean it.

Food is overrated. McDonald’s quality at red lobster price. I’m not sure why ppl like the food here. The chicken was gray in some spots and my burger wasn’t made like the menu says. It was just bacon meat and cheese. On the menu it says bbq sauce and another sauce. Onion straws was salty

Today, I went to Smashburger and had an awesome experience! The cashier, Rochenny, provided excellent service and really made my visit enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back!

Online ordering site made order error:I updated twice to ensure I have brioche bun and smoked cheddar for a Smoked Bacon Brisket Burger as they were the default choices, but the order came out to be NO Brioche Bun and NO smoke cheddar. I just assumed it meant not customization of the bun and cheese was made, but when I picked up the order it really had no bun and cheese. Couldnt replicate the bad order today, maybe its fixed.But the burger patty was still good, just disappointed in the online ordering system.

Went to Smashburger 7th Ave today after a big interview. The person behind the register did not greet me to take my order instead she just turned her back and started messing with the sauce containers. I stood there for a while and she continued ignoring me. I walked out and another customer walked in who was of a lighter skin tone. I looked back to she whether she would ignore him too. She immediately turned around and took his order. This was about 11:36am and business was surprising very slow. I have been to other Smashburgers. This is my second time and last time at this location. No love lost.

Burger and fries were fine but this place is hurting! Really messy, bathroom was trashed.

Nancy and the crew do a great job. I always like to grab something before a long train ride. Great location for a burger when waiting at Penn station.

Great place and good food fit for a good family night out

The food here is pretty good, I just wish the mobile ordering system was a little more seamless. Most times I order ahead, and when I arrive at the estimated pickup time am left standing around, often times when theres no line at the counter which makes me feel like Id be better off just ordering in person.

I have never seen an employee tell people who have been waiting 30+ minutes for their food to “chill out” and “relax we’ll get to you jeez.” I was actually upset because I was late to my movie and I thought that 45ish minutes to eat a burger would be enough! I was wrong! The manager seemed nice even though he was stressed but the cooks seemed so uninterested in everything, especially working. They messed up the order of the man in front of me twice (and that’s kinda when I realized I was going to be late for my movie). It almost seemed like a publicity stunt where they put 12 people who have NEVER worked in a restaurant or fast food environment before in a smash burger to see what happened. Everything was so chaotic and unorganized but hey, the burger was ok as far as burgers go. I’ve had better for the steep price and low quality service. Oh well hope they all figure it out :)

My experience today was absolutely amazing! I ordered the Smash Chicken Burger and it was delicious!! Mouhammed greeted me with a warm welcome, answered all my questions, was very patient and asked me how was my meal when I was finished. This location is great! I’m truly satisfied!

I came at 10:30pm & the store was closed, even thou there sign & Google says they close at 11pm. I spoke with the staff & he said that they closed at 10pm on a Saturday day, they then told us to go down to the block to Sticky’s a 1 star rated chicken place that they recommend. Completely unprofessional closing a full hour before closing time!!! Never again! What’s the point of positing your hours If then your going to close whenever you feel like it!

Disgusting. and I don’t say that lightly. The burger was so salty, but at the same time didn’t have any other taste. The fried chicken reeked of exhaust overused cheap oil. Gross

Sadly I was not impressed with Smashburger !! It was nothing to rave about. The turkey burger was mediocre. The fries was average. The customer service was slow n horrible. Never again. The only positives is theres ample seating n the cost is reasonable for times square area.

Gave my food to the wrong delivery person and passed the responsibility from person to person when I tried to get in touch about it. Oh, plus put me on multiple extended holds, just to tell me they couldnt do anything for me the *third time I called* instead of the first two times. Terrible customer service, garbage management. Honestly there are a million better burger places, chains even. Do yourself a favor and go the extra block and a half for Five Guys instead.

Please do not order here. First of all, we came here and the place was packed. We ordered only 2 things and waited over an hour. People who ordered after us got their food first. When we did finally get our order, they messed it up so we had to wait another 20 minutes for our food. By that time, we were already too frustrated and waited on line for about an hour and 20 mins, so we left. This is place is understaffed and seriously needs better management

Ordered lunch for my team and I had missing items, the sweet potatoes were burnt, Milkshakes were not thick at all. Not a good experience and my employees were disappointed.

I had the chicken wings last week and they were so good .Last night I also had wings I asked for them to be well done . I waited 40 mins had to ask at least 3/4 times where they were .They kept saying they are coming .I finally got them got on the train to eat and I was very disappointed they were not cooked at all .I think they were frustrated they people were asking about there food that they just handed out anythingPeople were getting the wrong order and staff were very rude .It’s a shame they are behaving like this because the burgers are usually very good .

The burger and the vanilla shake are pretty good, but the smashfries were dripping with fat residue - so would not recommend.Worst part of the experience was, however, that one of our burger had no beef patty on it. Well, that can happen and its not hard to resolve. Just put a patty on there, one minute, done. BUT IT TOOK OVER 30 MINS with constantly asking to get a whole classic smashburger.Meanwhile, dozens of other orders were fulfilled instead of making just ONE freaking classic smashburger because you botched an earlier one.WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND.Seriously, thats just horrible service.

Best fries and service in town!

I ordered online through their website.When I arrived they finished earlier than expected.I had the double classic smash burger and large smash fries. When I received my order I arrived to my place and seen they havent put condiments or tissues.I tried out the burger and it was way too salty, the pickles made the saltiness worse. The seasoning was great except for the salt.My fries? TOO MUCH OIL, I layed the container on my plate, and at least 3 oz of oil came out 💀💀💀The seasoning was alright, except, once again, overloaded with salt.Please minimize the salt on the food, like its good but the salt.I barely ate half the burger and like 15 fries.Overall good environment but it could do better foodwise.

I was thrilled for this SB location to finally open. I understand the food is made to order, but it took almost 45 mins for a chicken sandwich. My sweet potato fries had been ready for about 20 mins before my burger. They need to figure out a better system. And oh yeah the menu monitors werent working when I went there. Today, XMAS eve, I tried to order on the app ahead of time to avoid this long woit time. Unfortunately, I was unsuccessful and couldnt place an order for pickup. I decided to go somewhere where I could call ahead.
