STK Steakhouse

Came here for Christmas Eve dinner with a group of friends. The holiday special - Roasted Prime Rib - was fantastic! Service was exceptional from the making reservation, getting our seat all the way to finishing our meals. Our waiter Sergey was charming and exceptional, he gave great recommendations and checked up on our table a couple of times. Food was served pretty fast too!

What an amazing night! I’m big on customer service and I honestly have no complaints. The food and drinks were delicious. Our server Rio was great! He was very attentive and made sure we had a great experience. We are definitely visiting again soon!

Went here for a bachelor party with 9 others to celebrate and have a nice steakhouse dinner. The experience started out strong, and our server was very nice and informative. As the night went on the service got worse and worse. They bait you into ordering their still Fiji water bottles and then don’t bother to continue to ask you if you’d like another, instead they keep bringing them to the table, open them, and then charge you. 5 people at our table ordered the seafood and shellfish platter for $56/ person. There wasn’t even enough food on the platter for each person to have one of each of the items. A few other people ordered additional apps that he forgot to put in, so they never got them. Overall food was okay, steak was cooked well and sides were good. But for the prices, we all agreed we had better steak before. As the night went on our server was no where to be found. He offered us espresso on the house and then forgot about it, so we waited 30 minutes. Overall not worth the almost $3k check for this “upscale” steak house. It’s unfortunate, because I will probably avoid this place in other cities now.

Very busy, we sat down 35 minutes after our reservation, I would recommend avoiding 6pm bookings during the week because of happy hour that lasts until 6.30pm, go for 7pm or 5pm. Interior is stylish and so market. You are crammed into tables Very close to others with hardly any room for waiting staff or guests to move around. Its very noisy as there are no internal fixtures to break up the noise, plus there is music playing quite loud for a restaurant. The servers were quick and friendly, food was very quick. We opted for no starter, but had a large loaf of bread and amuse bousche provided, both very good. We had Surf & Turf Filet and Shrimp, and Lobster tail meals with Fries and Mushrooms. Sides were $20 each, the fries could have fed 4 people. The mushrooms were suitable for 3 people. The fries were tasty, crisp covered in parmigiana and truffle oil I guess. The mushrooms were uninspiring, quite a mixture but lacking in flavour, very earthy. The steak was excellent, both the Shrimp and Lobster were overdone. Tried the watermelon spicy cocktail, it was quite disappointing, not much flavour of watermelon, a bit sour. The bill came to $350, cant say I would be back.

We had an exceptional dining experience thanks to Violetta! From the moment we were seated, she was attentive, friendly, and incredibly professional. She checked on us regularly without being intrusive. Her warm personality really added to the overall atmosphere. The food was delicious, but her excellent service truly stood out. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and requesting Violetta!

Had Mariana as my server, so sweet and recommended my new personal favorite the porterhouse! Mariana was sweet and patient with us and had great recommendations for me and my partner. The creamed spinach, bread, steak, fries all amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone in the city! Thank you!

We came to STK Steakhouse for my husband’s birthday and enjoyed our time. Our waitress, Candice was present and made the experience great! The staff was also attentive and ensured our glasses weren’t empty. We enjoyed our meals, especially the BREAD!!!! My husband had the apple pie for dessert to end the night and it was delicious!! 🤤 🥂😋❤️

I’ve been hesitant about trying STK because people would say it’s overrated. Glad I gave it a chance, I had an amazing experience. The food was great, I had one drink off the cocktail menu that had guava, but didn’t like the taste much. It was VERY strong though, so if that’s what you’re going for, do your thing 😂. The host Fabio was very attentive & making sure we were okay through out our visit. Now let’s get into our waitress Lorena, she made the experience 10/10! She was great & very honest with her recommendations. We didn’t feel rushed throughout our experience. She made sure our glasses were always filled with champagne. If we ran low on anything she made sure to always check on us or have someone else come while she took care of her other tables. We never felt like we were being ignored. The atmosphere is so modern! Violetta was amazing and so detailed and kind. A great birthday experience. The food was delicious. Portions were bigger than I expected. Very happy with our service

Dinner at STK was top-notch! We got the $69 dinner for two, and it was worth every penny. The wagyu sliders and shrimp cocktail started things off perfectly. The reception staff acted like they did not want to be there when we walked in. They were unfriendly and unwelcoming. Considering this is the first impression customers get when walking in the restaurant, STK deserves an F. The waitress was just ok, not really friendly.On the other hand, the food was really good and we enjoyed it very much. But with the staff’s unfriendly attitude, it is unlikely that we will return to STK. There are lots of others to choose from in midtown New York.

We had the best dinner at STK! We tried the $69 dinner for two and it was incredible. For starters, we had the wagyu sliders and shrimp cocktail, which were perfect. Then, we shared the New York strip steak and Chilean seabass with sides of asparagus and corn pudding. Everything was cooked to perfection! Enjoyed a great dinner here. Food, drinks and the restaurant itself were on point. But what made the evening even better was our server Brendan. Great guy with the great wink! Cannot fault the service or food! Second time eating at STK - first in Vegas and now here in New York and all I can say is that the restaurant is consistently. Excellent at both locations. We had Jermaine who looked after us and he was very knowledgeable on the menu and provided us with a great service.

The restaurant itself is STUNNING! Great place for a date night with great music. The food was decent but pricey. Not the best meal I ever had but definitely not the worst. Service was good but salad came out before bread. Overall I would recommend STK to friends visiting the NYC area.

What an experience!!! The food was delicious. I had chicken and waffles. Let me start by saying when i bit into that chicken i thought i was eating chicken breast because i am not a fan of chicken thighs. However it was so moist i knew it wasn’t breast. That was the perfect tasting chicken thigh ever!! The speared was a perfect addition! The waffles were perfect, everything was perfect! Compliments to the Chef!!The restaurant is beautifully decorated! The flowers are a mild pink and white and the lighting against the flowers gave it a magenta look! The architecture of the ceiling makes you feel like you are on a space ship. This place is just perfect!Our waiter Rahim was perfect. He provided everything we needed and he had a great personality!I can’t wait to come back!

Lindy was great. She greeted me when I sat down and prepared me a virgin mojito then showed me a menu.I asked her for recommendations and she told me about the lamb and also suggested the filet. She mentioned sweet corn and mashed potatoes. I was sold.Everything came out perfectly.

Has a great time at dinner. Started with Happy hour drinks then dinner. One of the appetizers we ordered were the Oysters with caviar and was a bit upset my the amount of caviar on the oysters given the priced we were charged for the dish. For $71 we thought there would be more caviar than what was given. Other than that, everything was good!

Justin was very accommodating what i appreciated most about him was that he remembered my allergies when i booked the service from open table. He also brought me butter because the things i was allergic too was in the sauce for the butter. I appreciated his kindness and the service was good !

Visiting Toronto for the first time and SO happy to have made this reservation to celebrate our anniversary. The service was SPECTACULAR. Victor and Saudi made the experience another level amazing. The manager Enrique came over to greet us as well and gave us tips for our visit to Canada.Thank you for an experience we won’t forget. Food was 10 out of 10 incredible.

Really liked the NY steak here. We got this as a recommendation from Chelsian and it was great advice because we loved the steak and sauce. Also the egg cocktail was really good. We would love to come back here sometimes.

The dining experience at this restaurant was amazing. Our waiter, Sibella, was very attentive to our needs and provided excellent service. My friends and I came for a restaurant week which left me extremely satisfied with the portion size and quality of food. Id gladly come back anytime.

My wife and I stopped by for a special evening with our kids before a show. Our server Candice went out of her way to ensure our kids felt comfortable in what could have been an intimidating environment. The food was good but her expertise and hospitality is what will bring us back. That and the chocolate cake...

Food and atmosphere was great! The steak here is GOOD. It doesnt come with any sides, so would recommend getting something on the side. Server was readily available when I needed, atmosphere is lively and club-like. Large wine collection with plenty of entrees and raw dishes if you dont want steak. Happy hour prices looked good so would visit during that time if you can. Bathroom has a full collection of mints or gums with Listerine! Jack helped us today and everything went very well. Would definitely visit again and recommend!

We went for a pre theatre meal and the service was excellent. The server made sure everything was served quickly so we were out in time for our show. Food was lovely. Souflet bread with blue cheese was so good.Starters were spot on. My steak was a little over cooked but other 2 were cooked perfectly.We opted for the New York week menu $60 paid $12 extra for filet and $6 extra each peppercorn crust (didn’t realise that until bill came out) and $5 supplement also for mini burgers for starter.Bill ended up over $100 per person including still water couple diet cokes and a glass of wine.Fab setting and atmosphere. Live DJ playing too which was good.

We came here for a birthday dinner, and had Rio as our server — he was so attentive and was always around when we had questions about the Steak Night Menu. Having a great server makes the experience in elevated restaurants like STK that much better. 10/10, will come back for Rio!

The ambiance is everything in here. I absolutely love the music, and scenery. However, there were a few hiccups. My steak was cooked great considering I enjoy my steak well done. Sometimes in a busy place as this you can lose your server but Brandon was pretty attentive, Which I appreciate. The mash had a good flavor however, it wasn’t hot. The steak also had a good flavor but needed some more steak butter so it was kinda dry. My honey ordered a ribeye and it was dry as an Afro, He really didn’t enjoy his food. Their drinks are pretty good, kinda pricey but good. Over all it was just ok, if we submitted a review and make it 5 stars we were supposed to get two free drinks. But the drinks weren’t worth the review.

I had a great experience here with my wife and our server Lorena was a great help in recommending the best dishes for dinner and helping me setup for birthday surprise. The music and atmosphere here is great for everyone looking for a special night.

My first time here ( 7/25/24 ) me and my bf saw the restaurant week on instagram and decided to come. The DJ for that day was YT but he PLAYED the JAMS ( Nicki, CB.. etc ) the space is very big it wasn’t crowded at all for a Thursday night but got very active towards 10pm a lot of families & people were coming in. What I noticed about the drinks were the drinks we ordered off the regular menu was strong AF . We stayed until 10 for the happy hour menu which you can only go to the bar for our waiter said … the drinks were about $9 for happy hour I ordered the same exact drinks that I ordered before happy hour they were $22 each and it had me smacked … the ones I got at that bar during happy hour was SWEET barely felt anything out of it. U would need ZERO food in ur stomach to get a buzz off those happy hours drinks u taste more syrup then the alcohol sadly 🥺 . The bill was $352 for 2 ! The food ? 6/10 for me loved the tiny 6oz stink I got from the RESTAURANT WEEKS MENU. The mash was calm the Mac I loved. Very mid. I did expect better. What I can say I liked is the atmosphere being more black then YT ppl. Pictures APPLIED !

I had an amazing birthday experience. The food was phenomenonal and our waiter, Mike was so attentive and treated us so well. They brought a special birthday dessert platter and complimentary shots and champagne. So sweet! They were a bit late to seat us, but the food and service made it worth the wait. We came to STK after seeing Hell’s Kitchen on Broadway. We got two steak dishes that were mid bit the salmon was great. The sides were very good but small for the price. The desserts were yummy and enough to share. The atmosphere was excellent. The Star of the evening was our waitress Adrienne who provided excellent service!!

Placed an order for pickup of the Christmas special plate. The sweet potatoes weren’t cooked all the way through, the turkey had obviously been cut ages ago and had dried out, the turkey also tasted like it’d gone off so I couldn’t even eat it, and the pumpkin pie that was supposed to be included was nowhere to be seen. The only edible thing on this plate was the stuffing. This was an extraordinarily expensive inedible, incomplete excuse of a dinner. Merry Christmas to me.

The service was the best part of my experience. Brandon was a great server; his enthusiasm and gentleness were infectious and made us feel welcome which was key. The music was great. The dj was having a lot of fun and we did too with their choice of music.

Great steak! Central location in NYC so it’s busy especially around Christmas but they seated us right away. Great decor, fun DJ throughout if you like music during dinner, and amazing food! On the pricier side but everything tastes great and is high quality meats so worth it. Service is attentive by not overly so. Will be back - thank you to our server Jack!!!!

This restaurant is fabulous OMG and the service “hands down exceptional”. There’s a in house DJ that played FABULOUS MUSIC that we all dancedTo in our seats. But most importantly our server JEN was so knowledgeable and had the best serving hospitality I’ve Witnessed in a long time. She was prompt and waited on us like royalty. I highly recommend this restaurant and the server Jen.If you love good music while you eat this is your spot!

STK Midtown - Sergey was absolutely amazing. He was on top of our service all night, really couldn’t ask for better at all! He went the extra mile in making sure my date and I were always checked up on and okay, if we had any questions he answered them, he gave out great recommendations when asked. 10/10 for Sergey! The food was absolutely delicious. I would definitely eat here again. Thank you STK Midtown and you especially Sergey for a night well made!!

The service was great, food delicious, and great location! Near trains and buses. Would definitely go again. The calamari, truffle fries, and tomahawk were the groups favorites. Blue cheese butter surprisingly good combo with the bread. There are only a few dessert options, but there are many dessert options around the neighborhood. The cocktails were so-so we all expected better. Overall, it was a nice experience.

THE best filet I’ve had in a long time!! They were even able to accommodate my dairy free allergy which was awesome. Great vibes inside with a fun DJ that wasn’t too loud and the service was quick even during the busy Christmas time. Our server, Jack, was particularly helpful. We’ll definitely be back!

Atmosphere was amazing..Food exceeded our expectations & everyone enjoyed their dinner..Headed to the bar where Julian & Justin provided exceptional service & drinks the entire night! Service was good. Our server, Isaiah, took pains to explain the different cuts of steak and recommended us the cuts based on our preferences. He even arranged for the blue butter to be crusted on the steak. The steaks were good.The lady helping him seemed in a hurry to tidy our table. Dessert was not exciting so we didn’t try it. Cocktails and truffle fries were good!

Mikaela was our server and she was very attentive and friendly. 5 stars for her. We were seated promptly. Nice atmosphere. Food was good but not great 4 stars for food.

LINDY was automatic with her service. Before I sat down she already knew the vibes. And let’s not talking about her bartending skills. They are on point. The best drinks in STK. I’m definitely coming back and dining with her and her bartending company again next month for my birthday. She’s a 5 STARS. YALL NEED TO CHECK OUT STK MIDTOWN.

Rahiem and the rest of the staff was amazing. We had two toddlers with us and they were so kind and we will be coming back for them. Ordered fish which was good but our sides weren’t great- ordered Brussels sprouts and it was boiled, cold and lacking flavor. The location is beautiful and the staff are kind and sweet. Definitely would go again and notOrder any sides

The food choices were magnificent, our server and wait staff were on point which made the evening even better. Q is an excellent guest service / head manager! She made sure we were taken care of as its such a big operation.Food was good! We did the STK Night out prefix. Cameron was a great server as well. Clear and Efficient and warmed up as the night went on. Ahmed was also wonderful to us!!

Girls night out with a last minute twist turned out to be amazing. We were originally supposed to go to another restaurant but was able to be squeezed in at STK. We had the porter house steak, creamed spinach, confit mushrooms, mac and cheese with a Caesar salad. The food was amazing so was the ambiance. Our server Phil was helpful and the food came out really fast.

This was my first time at STK after recommendation of a coworker. Our server #nick@night was fantastic he was one of servers who managed to be there right when we needed something his service can only be described as excelsior!! The vibe I really enjoyed and the music was great with the live DJ. Food was well worth the price! Everything was not only cooked to perfection but had a twist that was unique to the STK experience that added to dishes in a positive way. I definitely will be finding a reason to come back!

Brought my wife here for her birthday and it was a wonderful experience. Our waitress, Sibela was amazing and guided us on what would be the best to order for drinks and food. We had the tomahawk steak with mashed potatoes and shrimp on the side. Great place to bring your loved one or friends for any occasion.

Came to celebrate my 30th and had such a good time! Great food, atmosphere and the service was AMAZING! Lorena made our time exceptional and enjoyable! I rarely leave reviews lol but had too this time because a time was had!!!

Stk had incredible service. I had the pleasure of having the lil burger & truffle fries but opted out of the truffle, falafel & chili tahini, and the crispy calamari. The falafel had such an incredible flair and flavor to each bite . Our server Lorena had outstanding service and catered to our every need.

I recently dined at STK and had an exceptional experience thanks to our hostess Fabio and our waitress Adrian.Fabio greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome right away. He efficiently managed our seating and ensured we were comfortable throughout our visit. His attentiveness set a positive tone for the evening.Adrian was our waitress and truly made our dining experience memorable. She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. Her friendly demeanor and prompt service kept us well taken care of, and she checked in just the right amount, ensuring everything was perfect without being intrusive.Both Fabio and Adrian exemplified outstanding hospitality, making our meal enjoyable from start to finish. Christian Hector was very attentive and friendly, he served us very well!My husband had the cowboy steak which was nearly as good as the steaks he had in Brazil and Argentina. I had the small filet, which was good, but since I needed it medium well done, it was a bit dry.DO NOT waste any of that amazing steak meat on the terrible brown sauce they serve it with. That is way too sweet and ruins the naturally great taste of the steak.Truffle fries and market vegetables were really good. You have to order sides extra as the steak is basically only the steak.Food was delivered quick, music was good but a bit loud.

Imani was great, we had a larger party but it wasn’t too much for her to handle! She greeted us with a beautiful smile and a very calm and kind demeanor. She was awesome only thing that was missing was her number. 😂

Been to many different STK’s around the world. New York Midtown is definitely up there with one of the best. Our server Brandon was so friendly and helpful and made our experience extraspecial.

We are visiting New York city for our wedding anniversary, and reserved a table at STK to celebrate. Unexpectedly, we received free bread and an amuse-bouche for booking in advance, and then the evening took off from there. Our waiter, Cameron, was amazing; answering all our questions, making excellent recommendations, and regularly checking-in to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, we definitely indulged with several courses and finished every bite! All of the staff were very welcoming, the atmosphere was electric, and the extra touches really brought our anniversary dinner to the next level. Thank you for a memorable experience!

The music and atmosphere is amazing, the servers were so nice and the service in general was amazing, the steak was perfectly cooked and was delicious. they turned on party lights and all the servers walked around with party sparklers and gave everyone free shots while playing cool music. Honestly a great experience.

Review for STK Steakhouse NYCAfter a long day at the Javits Center, we decided to continue our celebration at STK for our anniversary dinner. Walking in, the restaurant was beautifully decorated for the holidays, giving it a festive and elegant touch—perfect for a special night out.From the start, the service was excellent. Our server, Victoria, struck the perfect balance between giving us privacy and knowing just the right moments to check in. Her attentiveness added a nice touch to the evening, and we felt well taken care of.For our meal, we went with the 28 oz porterhouse to share, paired with the wedge salad, mac and cheese, and Yukon mashed potatoes. Every bite was spot-on—the steak was cooked to perfection, the sides were indulgent, and the flavors complemented each other well. My Mojito de Parcha, though not quite like those from Puerto Rico, was still a refreshing hit. My husband enjoyed his Not Your Daddy’s Manhattan, which was bold and smooth.The ambiance was amazing, and we loved the vibe. However, despite mentioning our anniversary, there was no acknowledgment or gesture from the staff. Given the bill was over $400, we expected at least a small acknowledgment, which left us a bit disappointed at the end.Overall, the food and service were excellent, but for a place of this caliber and price point, we hoped for a more personal touch. While we enjoyed our meal, it’s those small details that can make a night truly unforgettable.

Mixed feelings about this dinner experience for sure. The steak was beautifully cooked and tasted delicious, the same applies for the Mac & Cheese - highly recommended this as a side. The service was okay overall, slightly inattentive at times and a lot of attempts at upselling which came across a bit pushy. Visually the restaurant looks very nice however on the specific day of our dinner a DJ was playing a lot of mumble rap that really didn’t fit in with the overall ambiance and also made it difficult to talk to each other due to the volume. Personally not my cup of tea but if you enjoy a more clubby vibe to your steak dinners, this might be the place for you as the food was great!
