Im glad I stayed at the Irish Exit @ Moynihan for this moment on October 3, 2024. L.G.M.! Good bar by anyones standards!

Great place to sit and have a drink while waiting for a friend or your train. Used the QR code ordering system and drinks showed up right away. Its great for being in the center of a train station

When I got there it near closing time. I had a eer with salt and a squeeze of limeLovely nice and cold. I was practically exploding from the extreme. heat and humidity outside.I am totally grateful for that cold beer..

A hidden gem inside the food court at Moynihan train station. Great specialty drink selection and very good prices for Manhattan. Old Fashioned $14 with premium liquor I’m in! Also, very nice and accommodating servers. Shout out to Damon the manager so nice and personable. I will be back!

This met our needs of a place to meet after a big conference at the Javits Center. Great cocktails with nice touches. Not too loud for conversation. We didn’t order food, put it’s in a food hall so many options available.

Great service all the time.Bartender AJ. Great personality, know is drinks & customers.PLEASE, he needs to be allowed to wear his signature top hat! He was one of the original bartenders when the bar first open. His top hat is a staple.

Bartenders were god awful! Terrible, you need new ones. If your talking a train or a plane it’s about service, two of the main bartenders did their very best to ignore you… The bartender that had an Irish accent was spot on. Everyone around the bar had the same opinion!! Change them out!!!!!!!

After 24 hours I checked my bank statement because the server failed to give me a receipt. I saw that she tipped herself WITHOUT my permission. I called to speak to someone, no one answered the phone or called me back. I went to email them, no address to contact. It’s a very convenient scheme for them to run since it’s at a train station and they will most likely never see you in person ever again.If you decide to visit them anyway, pay in CASH ONLY! don’t worry about leaving a tip, they will get there’s no matter what.

Most days i come here everyone is amazing and the service is WOW! But today i have this little Caucasian lady here ignoring me. It took two of her colleagues noticing i haven’t been served for 5 mins for her to take my order. The bar has about 9 ppl whom all have drinks and this lady sucks. She making faces at the customers. Idk if she having a bad day. But that’s not nobody problem but hers.

I’ve been here a few times as I travel back-and-forth to Penn station. Very long, large bar.drink prices are great. They need more bartenders because it’s hard for them to see everybody who’s sitting and need a drink. Also music after a certain hour is so loud I can’t even hear myself think.

My friends and I love this bar very much! Very spacious, looks modern and the cocktails are fantastic. The only problem is if you don’t sit at the bar, you have to go up for your drink. Other than that, it’s a great place and what I spend is worth it!!! Check it out!

Didnt have any food, but the service was good and the vibe was buzzing.

The experience was great .but I was charged 3x when I checked my bank account for 28 dollars I’m trying to call them and no response this is so unfair

Had a grand time at this gem of a place! I had just done the Edge City Climb (1,271ft) and was buzzed and in need of a drink. Happened upon BAR at Moynihan with my parents. The Irishman behind the bar provided well poured Guinness and fantastic conversation. Had a fun and relaxing time here. Didnt wanna leave but they had to close haha. Cillian, all the best with your endeavours and Ill keep an eye out for an Irish resto at Sardinia. Sláinte!

Really nice place to chill if you’re waiting for the train. The bartender was very cool. Hope he gets a lot of tips!

Double charged for our drinks, were very rude and slow in resolving, causing us to be delayed getting to train. Do not recommend.

The bar is nice enough for a train station. They serve beer, wine and cocktails. Looking forward to many of the food venues here opening as well.

You don’t expect to find a legit bar in a train hall. They have a really great selection of drinks and the bartenders are attentive and friendly. I’d come here even if I wasn’t traveling. Highly recommend the cold brew martini!

Not enough seating.

Sat there for a good ten minutes before anyone asked if I wanted a drink. Not like it was really busy at 2:00 in the afternoon either.

Very friendly personnel going the extra mile. Sockets at the bar. Excellent place to wait for your train or meet people.

Atmosphere is top notch to chill and enjoy a nice drink, adult vibes, and relax. Bartenders are really good at making drinks off menu as well.

The blond caucasian bartender with the blond layered short hair cut who was attending at the bar today at 3pm was god awful! Terrible, you need better and more professional and overall educated and kind new one.If you’re traveling it’s about service, she was not helpful when I asked about the menu, and told me just to scan the menu and read it everything is there.This lady sucks. She was interrupting my conversation asking twice about how was my second drink cause she didn’t agree with the tip. If I could I would never gave neither for the first drink cause her attitude. For sure she has a behavior problem.The worst was that she was expecting a very good tip even her terrible and rude service.Hope the bar changes her or you… potential customer stay away, if you don’t want get more stressed for your trip.

Hosted an event for 35 people last night. They roped off an area for us so we had room for our group. Drink selection had something for everyone. They helped us arrange catering. We were introduced to our server and 2 managers who were always available, friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend holding your event at The Bar at Moynihan.

Service is great even though it’s busy

Been here 3-4 times and its been great. Last time however the music was super, super loud making conversation pretty impossible. Ill definitely be back but I was just surprised by how different my last visit was compared to my previous ones.

Please check your receipt they over charge u!. Make your sure u check it before leaving the bar. They over charge me 2 drinks that I don’t order

I was checking my bank account for another purpose and saw they charged me for one drink already when I had my tab open. Then when I asked for my bill they charged me for both my drinks, not just one because they already charged me for one. When I told them they flat out denied it without checking or caring. I then had to suggest I could show them the charge, they talked to me as if I was picking a problem with them instead of them addressing an issues they completely gaslighted me and said that’s not possible and not ONCE apologized and even said “I don’t get anything out of this.” Then why were they so defensive instead of apologizing like a normal person? When talking to each other they simply said “it’s not possible.” As if I were still making this up.I was charged $14 for one drink while I was sitting down then $28 for both drinks when I got the bill.BE CAREFUL SCAMMERS charging you for drinks before you get your bill for some drinks then giving you the full bill. Scam scam scamAnd they were so polite and warm to everyone else and so indifferent and cold to me, I noticed the difference immediately. If they’re rude to you, you’re probably the next target. Maybe because I asked them to change the channel to a basketball game. I smiled to them the entire time until they gaslit me at the end.

Got an overpriced drink here and a fried chicken sandwich to go from another spot. While I was waiting for the drink, an employee cleared the bar and threw out my sandwich that was right by me :(

30 bucks for two ungodly over spiced bloody Marys that we could not drink. The female bartender was cold, surly and lectured the man next to us because he asked if there were a happy hour. A nightmare. Luckily there are other places outside this Hell of a Hall.

Dont leave your tab open with the servers or they will forget they served you and then close you out, but not until they give themselves a 30% tip... thanks Deirdre...

Great Bloody Mary!

The limoncello and galiano in the Cold Brew Martini is surprisingly 👌 good. The Moynihan Amtrak Station is brand new and loaded with tvs so thats good.

Gorgeous bar (that skylight!!) GREAT music and amaaaaazing Guinness (and amazing other draft beers as well). Love the people who work there, and fun people hang out there too. Needs better signage directing you to the bar, and some social media presence so more people know about it!! (Or maybe I’ll just keep it to myself, haha) Can’t wait until the rest of the food hall opens…and then it will really ROCK just like the old Pennsy bar.

There is no table to sit very busy.
