The Garden Bar is where the Chase Sapphire lounge is located downtown at the Seaport. You needed to show your Sapphire card to enter, Im not sure if there is still the Chase association, but this is a great place to hang out and have a drink during the summer months.
One of my favorite local seasonal spots, sitting in the beautiful tropical plants with a fresh menu and a variety of cocktails. I’ll be sad when it gets too cold and they need to close it down to hibernate until next year. A nice lush verdant escape from the concrete of the city!
Ariel and Vera were so nice in getting my group the best possible table while Star made sure we had everything we needed. Great place and highly recommended -- in an awesome area to walk around in before/after!
Just went for drinks on the day they reopened. Was not disappointed! Off the menu cannot go wrong, but tell the bartender you want something a bit drier or more ginny and he crafts something unbelievable, with an Asian flair. Two things I wish for:1. I lived closer and visit more frequently; and2. They could serve drinks in glass and not plastic cups.Ill be back.
Tasty and strong cocktails! Long Island Ice Tea and Mojito are killer drinks!
Nice outdoor space, but that’s all.
The spot is nice but the drinks were watered down. We went on a weekday and it was super packed hard to find a spot to sit unless you have the chase sapphire card which had an exclusive area for their card holders..so if you dont have a card you basically have to stand around or pray for someone to leave an empty seat.
Nice outdoor setting, and thats about it. The beer is warm and the cocktails are served in plastic cups. Expensive. They have a system similar to the airport where you order off a website.
No complaints, food was good space was pleasant to be in
Definitely seems like it was plopped in the middle of the seaport district in between Water and South streets, so while it may seem out of place it holds up in being unique to enjoy since it is outdoors and laid back. Good if you bring a group of friends to share drinks or a small plate of food, the prices tend to fall on the high side though but the live music usually on the weekends tends to make up for it.
Nice space, enjoyed my drink (anguria)
Great venue for having a pint 🍺
Nice spot in the middle of the Seaport area, expensive and the drink took its time coming. Anyhow, order ahead on the app.Don’t forget to tip your bartender!! 🙏🏾👏🏾🥂🍾
Nice cool place to have a chat and a couple drinks .. BY THE WAY IF IT WASNT FOR PAOLA THE BARTENDAR WE WOULD OF LEFT. GREAT JOD 👍 ..
Amazing frozen cocktails and DJ!
I didnt even give 1 star to this place. The service was so bad and Im surprised because Seaport is a tourist place. Understaffed and overworked employees. My friend ordered a $20 cocktail and we were in the Saphire Lounge. It took them 25 minutes to bring it over. No apologies at all. The only thing they care is to swipe your credit card. Couldnt believe it! We thought that the Saphire lounge is there for a reason, I guess its just a show off.To the managers-hire more people and train your bartenders to make the drinks quickly!
Had drinks only
A really good time! I love the area and the food and drinks too! Definitely will return!
Not a bad place for drinks and relax.
Nice outdoor bar, great for people watching.
Great summer spot, drinks are not overpriced considering how nice the ambiance and atmosphere are
Beautiful location however drinks are terrible
Had an amazing drink after work. Great area!
It’s a cute spot but the drinks were mediocre and kinda pricy for what they were. It’s connected to the chase sapphire lounge though so if you have a chase sapphire card you get to sit in a lounge-y area - although still outdoors. If you have the chase reserve card, you can get some appetizer for free with a purchase.
Expensive and super crowded, but awesome vibes. This is what you come to the city for. Its a rare & beautiful chaos. Forget getting in here with a wheelchair at a busy time, though!
The Creamsicle is a must try.
Pricey but I became a regular during our summer lunches
Very strong cocktails but also very good
We made a 2:30PM brunch reservation on Sunday. When we got there they had a table ready for us but we were not happy on where they were going to seat my party of 4. The host said no problem, give me 5 minutes and I will have what you are looking for. In less than 5 minutes he came back and sat us in a beautiful area of the restaurant. The servers were great and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and the drinks were tasty. Highly recommend the brunch service and menu.
I havent eaten here yet, but the menu is somewhat limited. We usually just get beers and people watch for a bit. Can get a little tight at the bar. Stick with groups of 2-3 and you should be ok.
This location is great. The beverage and food options arent. For an outdoor bar to not offer any kind of hard seltzer or high noon type of libation in this day and age is unacceptable. Match that with the strangest selection of liquor, a menu that for a sushi lover like myself is mediocre at best and for what you get everything is overpriced its a struggle to give this spot 2 stars.
The most non-Tiki Tiki bar I’ve ever been to. The server didn’t smile or say a word to me. Just nodded and served my pre made slushie drink in a paper Dixie cup for $15. I tried to enjoy it while sitting on one of the milk crate chairs provided, but was bombarded elitist suits who took over my table. Tiki fans, you will be sadly disappointed.
Its one of those outside bars which during a nice day draws a big crowd. Companies are always doing some sort of promotional marketing display for a product. Atmosphere is always lively. You definitely mingle alot
This is a great indoor/outdoor venue in a perfect location near the waterfront. The food is so delicious--the type you crave when you want to indulge. Great drinks; great atmosphere
Drinks made great... Not cheapos with their shirley temples. Nor triple tietos n club ... Appreciate the chic who was great to my ex wife and i... On point with extra grenadine .. ... ( That diabetic seizure wasnt fun but had some time to relax on floor 15 in SB ) thanks 😊
Tourist trap. Service is terrible, food and drinks are subpar and overpriced. There are many better options in the vicinity.
Placed order thru their app and no drinks for 20 min. Had to go to bar and they ignored us for another 10 min. Had a concert to make it to and ended up very late.
Very good food (nachos were a little dry but still tasted good)
Pleasant setting for a drink if you dont mind spending $8 for 10 oz of beer served in a plastic cup. But for Gods sake, do not order food here. It is horrendous.
Beautiful place by the water at Pier 17.
Unmatched atmosphere in the surrounding areas. A must stop for an afternoon cocktail even in the winter!
One particular bartender is extremely rude. Literally from the start of our interaction to the end he was a sulky, sullen and rude person who was unhelpful when asked questions regarding the menu and then also complained when we refused to tip him. Do your job properly and then you can have a tip. 0/10.
The cocktail selection was just ok and they werent that great
Amazing location! Great place to hang out
The bar was around the corner from our hotel and had a good atmosphere, my partner and i ordered food and then tried to order a couple of drinks. The bar staff said that he would find out if the kitchen was still open as it was about 8pm. He then walked to the other side of the bar and spoke to 2 female customers for 5 minutes and then came bacl to us and asked us if we wanted to order anything before he then had to go and check if the kitchen was open again. He was incapable of making a cocktail other than the premade ones off the menu because he said it was to busy even though the bar was clear. When the food came it was very nice and the only saving grace. We ended up drinking pepsi. Also when i attempted to pay the bill he disappeared again after putting it through and left me stood there while he ran off to speak to another female customer who was leaving. Shame because it has alot of potential
Makeshift outdoor bar in South Street Seaport - very crowded, be prepared for a scrum for seating every time a table opens up. Service was thankfully fast.
Nice outdoor space. Great for the summer .
For chairs empty on the bar she say I have to wait 5 minutes to get a seat
Chase customers get a special food menu, lounge and charging station. Thats a pretty good deal along with drinking outside.
Friendly staff unfortunately the drinks arent good.
We had a great time
Really nice place, terrible service!
Nice summer pop up!
Very fun atmosphere
Nice & beautiful place
Nice outdoor space,
Great place!
Beautiful atmosphere
Terrible
The best❤🍺
Great spot
Great place!!!
Tourist and local, 100% New Yorker.
Location quite nice, cocktails so-so. Plastic cups, plastic straws and pre-made cocktails from the machine, so you dont have the option of swapping gin for vodka, for example. It still costs $14.00, which may be cheap for NY, but everyone has to decide for themselves whether they like it.
An outdoor place, perfect for drinking or eating something after a nice walk
Do not go to the bar on the very unpleasant staff side
Prices very high. But the ambience is really great. One of the few spots where you can relax and enjoy a drink outside on the street.
Rude staff, expensive drinks.Rude staff, expensive drinks.
Lively terrace
Good place.
