Treadwell Park

I recently visited Treadwell to watch the Tyson vs. Paul fight, and unfortunately, the experience left a lot to be desired. Despite the bar not being busy, the bartenders failed to greet me and took a long time to ask what I’d like to drink. When I finally got a drink and was ready to order food, the bartender responded with, “One minute, I’m finishing my food.” While I understand everyone needs breaks, the way it was handled felt unprofessional, especially since there appeared to be backup staff available.The fight was advertised, but I had to ask five times for them to turn it on with audio. When they finally did—15 minutes into the event—it was accompanied by an unnecessary attitude. This made an already frustrating experience worse.The food was equally disappointing. The nachos lacked quality, and while I needed silverware, I chose not to ask to avoid adding to the already negative vibe. Sadly, this isn’t the first negative experience I’ve had at Treadwell, which is unfortunate because the area could really benefit from a good sports bar.I would strongly recommend that management invest in staff training and improve the food menu. Until then, I cannot recommend Treadwell.

We started our day great with a delicious brunch and ended it with a delicious dinner. The atmosphere was great for both families and groups of friends. What we liked the most was the service. They were friendly, funny and super fast.They really improved our day with a positive vibe.

It my first time to visit here a cozy place and this place left an amazing impression on me, thank you Jonatas !Im appreciate for his patient service because my English is not easy to order menu , and thanks for remembered what I like to drink when I order second drink👍🏻 I will bring my friends to visit here together next time !!

We went to treadwell to try this sandwich and it was way more than I expected. Great service and great selection of draft beers.

Ive been living in the neighborhood and coming here for years and have never been disappointed with the cocktails and food. The burgers are some of the best!!Staff is ALWAYS attentive and fun.The minute we walk in, we feel welcome and at home!! My Zyr vodka mule is perfect!

All my life I’ve been going to different restaurants, but this one deserves more than 5 stars, I’ve never tasted such delicious salmon and I have to say that I have many years of experience enjoying many places, but the variety of dishes, beer and cocktails make the place an extraordinary place. Thanks to my friend who recommended it to me and we decided to go with our families, we had an incredible time and our grandchildren really enjoyed the game room, also they have many options in the kid menu.The service was lovely, very kind and patience with us, so If you need a place for spend time with your family Treadwell is gonna be your best choice ;)

I wish I had known about this place earlier! Fantastic Bier Garden type of place with picnic tables, games, and lots of TVs.We have been back several times with our kids and friends. This place continues to impress. Our kids love the giant pretzel (when its not overdone).

I came here to spend time with some family and friends and I’m glad I did. The food came out quickly and tasted amazing. our server was awesome and the manager Jennifer even came to us and asked how we were doing and how we were feeling. Jennifer made us feel right at home.

Solid! Great space and good beer/food. Family-style seating inside with plenty of games and TVs. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, and there were a bunch of kids running around 😆 Not too busy otherwise; looks like a great spot for events or large groups. Staff was great!Food:Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket - 9/10A little warm but otherwise amazing and the shipping sauce was perfect.The Chefs Burger w/ Fries - 7/10Fries a little cold and bun was pretty hard/burned. I also asked for medium rare and got well done! Otherwise a tasty meal!

Treadwell is an absolute gem ! Great place to bring family, a date, friends, you name it , they have something for everyone !The service was on point ! My server was very attentive and made sure everything we ordered was correct ! I ordered the Junior mini burger ( which was not small at all) and I got the refreshing Release cocktail. My friends ordered a pitcher of Mango Margarita, it was strong and delicious!

Treadwell is one of my favorite places to bring my family ! I I always feel welcomed with personal service and delicious food. Highly recommend to bring your babies because they are kid friendly , with games and activities to do. Lots of beers selections !

What an amezing place! I was here with frends and family, and I can tell you these guys really know their stuff. It’s pretty kid and dog friendly. Nice atmosphere, staff was very helpfull about choising the right beer and the food was suprisingly delicious. Great spot for chilling with friends especially if you want to catch a game on one of their numerous TV sets. I’ll definitely be back.

Came here recently for dinner and drinks with friends and had great time. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great, especially the pinball machines and ping pong table. Service was terrific, so will definitely be returning here.

I had miso glazed salmon skewer and it was delicious. The weather was perfect, so we sat outside and enjoyed our meal while looking at the downtown skyline. Great spot for a simple (but good) meal downtown.

I was told they had a giant pretzel. Then I went and tried it. Its amazing. Its gigantic and very delicious. Ordered to take out. It came fresh, warm and very soft. Will come back to have drinks and have another big pretzel soon.

We came there a few times during nearly 2 weeks stay in NY. Beer draft selection was always the same, I havent noticed a single change. Dirty glasses.We wanted to play some ping pong (4 pm on weekdays) and it was never available (we asked different people from the staff), although the place wasnt packed and other games were working.We wont bother anymore.Only positive thing is a free water.

I have frequented Treadwell many times over the years as I have a close friend who lives nearby. This is one of the top notch, fun bars in the city. The food is always great and timely, and the atmosphere is fantastic whether you go to watch a game or enjoy the plethora of games that cater to your inner child (ping pong, pinball, arcade games, etc.). Last time I was there we sat at the bar and the service was excellent - I believe our bartender’s name was Jose (thanks, Jose!). Additionally, the service has been great from the other staff in my man times there. Excited to return again soon!

Good sports bar with lots of TVs, great selection of draft beers, some pinball machines + 1 ping pong table. Fun place to hangout over some beers.

What a good place to spend it between friends and family, they have a good atmosphere and excellent service, they gave us a good service and made us feel pleasant, the food and drinks 5 stars, I cant say anything bad about this place, just come back and enjoy

Perfect place to have a good time, really nice service, food and atmosphere.I spent hours having fun there, employees are so kind, even they look happy dojng what they do. The food is fresh served and so delicious, obviously Ill going again when I need to have a good meal, relax and fun.

Good beer selection, which they list on Untappd. They list the same menu on their website. But when I tried ordering from it, the server snapped that I shouldnt look there. Good to know, but the curt way she snapped made me feel uncomfortable.

It is a lovely place, with friendly service, dog friendly, and just a downright great atmosphere with good food.

Every time is a good time in Treadwell downtown. The atmosphere is fun and warm. They have boardgames and ping pong. The free popcorn is a fun bonus. We played jenga and had cocktails. The food and the cocktails were delicious.

Food was nothing to write home about and the service was terrible. We sat with dirty plates for a long time with multiple servers (including our own) walking by. Our server also was distracted by another table that was clearly his friends, so we didn’t get help much when we wanted drink refills.

I came for like 5 minutes to see the soccer game it was so hot inside. I had to leave because I was dripping sweat. Please close the windows and put the AC on.

Fun place with good food in BPC. I took off one star for service bc it was so so. We got this wonderful bread along with a large order of meatballs. The sauce and the meatballs were delicious. Also, there are all sorts of games to play from Jenga, pinball, ping-pong and even shuffleboard which makes it family friendly.

Food is 5 but didnt like the seating, the benches too uncomfortable.

My husband and I have lived in the neighborhood for 4 years and Treadwell has always been a stap and atmosphere is great, especially for families! It’s alway such a reliable place to come for happyhour, dinner, and lunch/ brunch. The staff (Jose & Jen are our favorite bartender) is especially great!

Came here for a quick impromptu happy hour after work. The place is very spacious (indoor and outdoor seating options, which is nice) and offers a lot of different beers both on tap and in cans/bottles for a decent price (even when it isnt happy hour, which is an added bonus). Staff was friendly and helpful with the relatively large group we had with us, but would have liked to be checked up on a little more frequently than we were. Didnt get the chance to try any of the food, but the menu descriptions definitely had me interested enough to get me to come back at a later date.

I absolutely loved this place! The Chef Burger was one of the best burgers Ive ever had and the best artichoke dip! The staff is very friendly and nice, and they always treated us like we were at home!

It was ok but Portions could be bigger. Staff was a bit too serious but always friendly. If you talk in Spanish to Staff they will answer in English. Stick to English.

Bartender was great (Jen 🤔 maybe). Super attentive and friendly. We didnt eat more than some fries, just a bunch of drinks and watched the afternoon Rangers game.Warm day outside so the AC was freezing inside... Just saying...Lot of TVs and a good crowd there to watch the playoffs. Only thing that would have been better would have been to have the sound on for the game since most of us were watching it.Regardless, it was really fun and the atmosphere is great.Id definitely go back.Nice draft selection too.

Unfortunately experience at Treadwell park… food and service was amazing but the most impotant for me as a new father is the space for my kid! He loved the game room and the Christmas decorations. Will be back for sure!

Got some samples of beers for a reasonable price. The venue was a cool vibe. Pinball machines, ping pong tables and lots of TVs. The tacos were great along with the sweet potato fries. Got a slider order of pork beef and chicken, came out great. Server was friendly and checked in enough but not overbearing. Definitely worth a try!

Had the Chefs Burger which was real good and shared a giant pretzel. This place is worth it just for that enormous monstrosity of a pretzel- it is baked perfectly and super flavorful.The only knock was the service (one waitress serving the whole outdoor section) so we ended up seeing the waitress once every 40 mins.The prices are exactly what youd expect for the area.

Live around the corner. Went there once, wont go again! Extremely slow service. Cant imagine how slow it is later in the evening when most of the people are eating. Dont know about inside seating but outside seating is uncomfortable. Most people probably wont care still they going there mainly to drink. Prices can be lower for such slow service.Another big problem they dont clean enough. Because of outdoor seating and some people drinking the entire area around the restaurant is not so pleasant because of some garbage. Maybe I am asking too much but I dont think that flying napkins are okay. Its a restaurants responsibility to clean up the area around them.

What a hidden GEM!!!The food was amazing . The smoked wings are so crispy with a great flavor. The slider were outstanding and just the vibe if the place is so cool. Table games , arcade games and TVs everywhere playing all the games. Its my new favorite spot. The customer service was absolutely AMAZING!!!!!

It is a Beer bar. Capital B. On Saturday Afternoon they seated us, handed us menus, and when we ordered 6 tap beers, the server THEN meakly said We dont have that. We tried 2 other tap choices Dont have it Dont have it until finally the meek server said The gas for the taps isnt working. So we ordered canned beer, which took forever to get. and the I saw the server returning with multiple canned beers in their hands from somewhere, not the bar. Then onto a tray, add a glass, and to the table.Annoying the werent up front. Annoyingly not apologetic, annoying they never said they were trying to get it fixed, annoying that they didnt work at all to try and make serving canned beer faster.Avoid.

I was there yesterday and honestly the place was so fun the workers are so friendly and nice and welcoming but the best part of this place is the beer mac and cheese with bacon it was the BEST mac and cheese i ever had and the beers were cold and refreshing and i tried beer nerd groni its like cocktails and my experience was unique and i will come back and try more stuff on the menu

Treadwell is always good. You can go alone, with your significant other or with kids as a family. An American restaurant with Big tv screens and it’s loud. Sometimes they are too busy and short in staff but mostly they serve on time. The food mostly is ok, they recently changed some items on the menu, eggplant was not cooked enough, but we enjoyed the rest.

The food was really good, I was able to find a good bench outdoors. However when I went there were only two waiters available, and if you are a person who really likes to dine undisturbed and quietly you should really avoid this place as it does get quite loud.

Mariana was THE BEST. The food, drinks, and service were unbelievable. 10/10 experience. I can’t wait to come back

Treadwell Park is an easygoing casual restaurant in Battery Park City. That makes it handy for local residents, employees in and around the World Financial Center, and Wall Street workers. Bartenders and waiters are friendly and helpful. Pub fare -- sandwiches -- are tasty and filling. Appetizers are especially good. The beer list is long and interesting. The menu describes those beers in detail. Decor is simple -- some bar seats and a lot of benches. Several large televisions show sports.Two issues reduce Treadwell Park from 5 to 4 stars. One is the small and mediocre whiskey selection. Second is the annoying habit of being closed to the public for a private party during the period after 5 PM. You can make plans to meet friends and discovered upon arrival that you cannot get in.

I like this place a lot. Chill atmosphere, friendly staff, good food. It is not too fancy and sometimes service is a little slow but generally enjoy hanging out here.

I really want to like this place. Beer selection is the best part. Got the burger twice and both times it was terribly over cooked, so shame on me. Service is generally good and friendly.

Great food, awesome vibe, family friendly, and fantastic staff. The GM, Nicole, came and hung out with our kids for a bit and gave us the skinny on the fun things in the neighborhood. Will most definitely be back. Got the wurst platter (awesome), nachos (winner), pickles (awesome), and the pretzel (MASSIVE!). Great beer selection plus gluten free beers and ciders.

Lovely place for both kids and adults. If you like trying new beers this is a great place and prices are fair for location. Food is great but some misses on the menu. If you go please get the nachos!

Friendly bar staff, delicious lemon chicken, jambalaya and cheesecake! Take advantage of the happy hour if you can. Great selection of cocktails and plenty of TVs for the sports on. Recommend to go if you’re in the area!

Great bar with nice beer selection. Seating is cafeteria / mess hall style and can be a bit of challenge flagging down or ordering from the servers but otherwise a good staple for the area.

Strong beer and decent food. It didnt look like much but it was tasty.

Went here for a birthday brunch. We had to wait for space to become available, and set up. Halfway through the brunch they had to add another table because some of the guest had nowhere to sit. Im saying all this because the waitresses/servers/staff that did all that had to do it on the fly. There was no reservation, no menu plan, no definite number of guest. They had to basically wing it and roll with the punches, which they did with no complaints for 15-20 guests! Not to mention, the food really was delicious.

Limited vegetarian and vegan options here. I had the grilled summer vegetables. The sweet and spicy cauliflower was good. They don’t serve the impossible patty anymore but it’s still on the menu.

Cozy little neighborhood bar and happy hour spot. unique beer selection, food is pretty good. lots of tvs to watch sports and games to play with friends. definitely worth stopping by.to management - i would say, inside gets pretty steamy in the summer. maybe open the side and back windows so we can get a cross breeze.

Down to earth atmosphere. Not a dive bar, tastefully done. Great draft beer selection. Has 2 ping pong tables and shuffle board. Multiple long tables like a beer hall. Spacious to have a big group.

Went for dinner. Had the ribeye. It was thin and any inherent flavor it may have had was masked by an oddly sweet sauce. Not a good ribeye. Sides were good, as was ambiance and the staff was super friendly. May go again and try a different food.

The bad: bartender, service - genuinely the worst bartender I’ve had. Closed early after serving two nice beers, and stood near us asking to hurry and finish the beers so she could leave.Details: first time going out of my way to write a negative review in two years. We had just wrapped up a night from the movies and were heading home, stopped in for a beer. We ordered one beer each. Pretty expensive, import beer - a high percentage beer that you’d like to sip on. After being asked if we wanted another round, we said “sure”. She opens the bottle of the new beers, and states that it’s last call, she’s closing in ten minutes - not what we expected considering this was 40 mins before their listed close. We figured this was for last orders and register closing, so we asked if we had time to enjoy the beers, she quickly said yes and walked away.So we closed out, tipped, and were finishing up our beers. She stood by us and said “you need to finish and leave” without any understanding that she just served two, 10.5%ABV beers. She then kept stating we are being “*expletive* rude” by being there, although there were other parties there as well. Overall, she never seemed to have control of the bar. I’m not really sure if she had something going on or just a rough day, but she could really tarnish the appeal of what seemed like a solid spot.The good: nice beer selection, good decor/games.

They were very busy, but service was friendly and efficient. I had a steak. Im hesitant to order steak at a non-steak place (Treadwell Park is basically a bar that serves food), but my steak was great.

Theres indoor and outdoor seating. When walking up to the host she asked us which we prefer. We chose to sit outside and she said we can seat ourselves.Our server wasnt the best. Very monotone and when asked a question about the menu, I couldnt tell if she was being rude or just didnt know how to answer. We also waited a bit to have our orders taken and then again to receive the bill.The food:I got the Mac and cheese. I rate it a 3.7/5. It was good and unique. I wouldnt say I was in love with it but it was a nice change in routine. Very cheesy and filling.We got the nachos as an appetizer. 3.5/5. Good nacho combo, also filling. Only complaint was the nachos were kind of soggy but thats just what happens with melted cheese and meat on it.My partner got a sweet and spicy chicken sandwich. He rates it a 3. Unique sandwich but, again, nothing outstanding about it.Overall its an okay little lunch spot, nothing spectacular about it. Service couldve been better. Out door seating is nice.Total was about $57 before tip.

Fun place with a great vibe and very friendly service. Plus has the largest and fluffiest pretzel Ive ever seen. Only drawback is be prepared to pay lower Manhattan tourist prices. For me I spent $130 ($160 w/tip) on one entrée, salad, and round (six drinks)

Fun, spacious establishment with a deep beer selection. The table service was a little pressured by limited staff but they tried their best and managed to stay on top of orders (albeit pressured). Family friendly joint with solid food selection.

Good place to hang. We were a table of 20 people and had a really good time. Drinks were excellent and good was great. Fun games are inside such as table tennis, pin ball and table foosball.

Great sports bar/family restaurant. Good food with a great selection of craft beer. Plenty of TVs to watch sports. Service was good but I seemed to have two waitresses confused over who was serving me but would still go long periods of time without seeing anyone.

Long story short, I’ve been here several times for after work drinks. It’s never great but ok for the neighborhood. Tonight, however, was terrible. I’ll never come back to this bar nor will I recommend it. We ordered tequila sodas first two rounds were fine. We ordered a final round and got gin. The server was rude and questioned why we sent it back. We explained that the liquor was not tequila. Instead it tasted like gin- very strong juniper taste. She gave us a new drink and whatever that was wasn’t the tequila we had in our first 2 rounds. However, when the bill arrived we were charged for Herradura. Um take it from an experienced tequila drinker that last drink was NOT HERRADURA. Never coming back. If you’re in the area I recommend Clinton Hall or the bar next door. Just avoid this place.

Good place for drinks and food. They have Ping Pong, pop corn machine on the roll. The beer selection is extensive and great. Get inside and find your seat to enjoy your evening.

All of our dishes were good enough, kind of missed the mark. The brisket is way too thick. My cocktail was supposed to contain absinthe, and it did not appear or taste as having any. It was alright.

I absolutely love this place ! I work a few blocks away so my coworkers and I before heading to the train come in for happy hour drinks and good eats !The trio sliders are so yummy ! Omg the brisket was tender and a lot of bbq. The pork and chicken juicy. We tried the truffle fries, the giant pretzel ( emphasis on giant 😂) and also the lobster ravioli omg 😍 chef’s kiss !The service so very attentive and welcoming. The manager made sure to pass by and check on us. We were seated at a bar table but didn’t feel left out like some places.It’s a group of girls so of course we wanted all the fruity drinks ! the bartender ( Jenn or Jenny) did not hesitate once and created some delicious drinks, some off the menu and someof her favorite personals ( her mojito and cosmos are one of the best I’ve tried in a while) we played ping pong , jammed to music and headed home happy ! Definitely going to mention to my boss about hosting an event here ! Thank you !

The food is mediocre at best, the atmosphere is extremely juvenile. Having people play ping pong next to your table, then having it constantly land near your drink or hit you is really, really irritating.

Extremely fun for young adults and even families because of the board games and ping pong tables. Food was delicious, and the drink selection was diverse. The space was very spacious and open.

Its not bad for bar food and great place to watch the game but I can never get a seat here since all the neighborhood ppl come here since theyre too lazy to walk a few more blocks to other restaurants near their apts.

I liked Treadwell but didnt really go inside. Thats because there outdoor patio is everything on a warm NYC day. Their fish and chips and highly recommended and beer selection is on point!

I had my best experience on it , the food , the drinks were great. The waiter Jonathan was very friendly,polite and also he gave some suggestions about the menu food. I got the pretzel and I never had in my life. The environment was nice , and service very good . I will be back for sure.

Good spot for after dinner drinks. The shtick here is apres ski which translates to wood decor, benches, and string lights along with a fairly wide selection of draft and bottled beers, free popcorn, bar food sold for groups, and ping pong tables / pinball machines. In summer the front porch is a beer garden.

Wouldn’t let us split checks as a large party or order individually from the bar to simplify the split. Seemed uninviting when a large group wanted to order on separate tabs

Cool place. Bar games. Communal style tables but also regular tables for smaller parties. Theres something for everyone. Fries are great. Good beer selection.

Be careful as seltzer charged is $4 each, even with a cocktail purchase. Food was meh.... Had a poor interaction with staff and Manager last Friday evening.

We have been going to Treadwell for years, but we are very disappointed by the sudden decrease in quality of the food. Some of our favorites, like the pulled pork nachos have been taken off the menu while the artichoke dip is significantly decreased in quality.The beer selection remains strong, but this is somewhere we used to go regularly because we could enjoy a really nice meal of small plates. We will not be treating as that go to place anymore.

Great spot in battery park city. Lots of good beers. I hope the business thrives for years to come as it is an excellent spot with neighborhood vibes in such close proximity to a very touristy area.

Visiting the area. Didnt feel like hunting for food so this was the first restaurant I saw and thought Id take a chance. It paid off. The skirt steak was absolutely delicious! The waitresses were all very nice. Good customer service. Nice atmosphere. Try it!

Food was undercooked. Drinks took forever to get. Tons of sperm demons running around and taking over all the games and bathrooms.

As a place to watch sports and drink beer and eat good fried food Id consider this place excellent.

They charged my card for more than the amount on the cheque and added excessive tip. It was a few dollars so Im letting it slide but unethical on their part nonetheless.This was in addition to forcing you to buy food with your drinks.

This place is great for drinks and the staff is amazing, afterwards you can see the beautiful view of the river and see the Statue of Liberty!!!!

Mediocre food. We had a reservation, it was extremely hard to find someone who worked there who cared to show us our table, they messed up our order as well. Drinks average.

Great place for brunch & ping pong

Neat place in Lower Manhattan. You play table tennis and arcade games. You have a huge pretzel thats worth getting if you are feeling particularly hunger. Or you know, share it with friends or something.

A good place for large groups if you call ahead. Cant comment on the food, but the drink selection was pretty good.

My favorite sports bar in NYC. The food is awesome, with a menu that changes quite often. There are TVs everywhere, and anywhere you sit you have a good view of whatever game is on.The service is excellent, everybody is very friendly, the serving staff is very attentive, and the food always comes out very fast.Their rotating selection of beers on tap is really good. Check out Black Hound next door, really cool bar/lounge!

Overall incredible experience, food was hot, ready, and tasty. It came out very fast and it was incredible. Also the place looks so nice and has a feel good vibe to the whole place making me want to talk and be with friends. Waiters were great and very helpful. It was great and there is nothing bad I could possibly say. Most definitely will be back

I’ve been to Treadwell a couple of times and always loved the food as well as the service !Servers are friendly and the food and drinks come out in timely manner.Not only does the food taste great but also a fun place to play a few table games as well as ping pong. Great experience every time , without a doubt would visit again!

Great burgers and good place to hang out. Miss the old menu with 4+ burger options but the Chefs burger is fantastic.

German beers and fare are great - spot outside in the sidewalk or in front - the back is a bit less comfortable.

We just finished a tour at the world Trade Center and needed somewhere to eat lunch. We found treadwell walking around the area. Great place ! The service was awesome, everyone was very attentive. It was a little nosy because of the sports teams playing on the tvs, but overall it was good

Food was fine, came for the games. Paid $4 to play air hockey but there was no puck. After 5-10 minutes management came out and said there was nothing they could do / instructed us to call a phone number on the machine to ask for a refund…. I understand that the games are managed by a different company but from a customer experience perspective I was pretty floored that they didn’t just give me the $4 back. Obviously not about the $$ but it left a bad taste in my mouth! The place was basically empty so was not a situation where they were simply too busy to deal

Came here for an anti-valentines all day happy hour that didnt include food (only during regular HH from 3-6). Very misleading and disappointing. Beer mac and cheese was okay but $17 for a small skillet and extra $4 to add bacon wasnt worth it. Wings were decently sized, but no options for sauces. All you get is buffalo and horseradish sauce, no celery/carrots sticks or ranch/Bleu cheese. Total was $95 for 2 with 3 drinks each. Likely wouldnt visit again.

We moved to this location recently and found this bar. last time we were served by Branko, he was very friendly, communicative and gave us excellent service. today we decided to come back but the service was terrible. There were 4 people sitting together at the bar, of which we were 3. When we started complaining that the service was bad and we had to wait 15 minutes to be served, the lady leading us had everyones favor. One worker told me to nod 😳😳 Really?! Im sitting at the bar and Im supposed to nod. it was empty and I also work as a bartender, so I know how it works. we could definitely make more sales there than the lady who was more important. we wanted to have this bar as our neighbor, but alas.

Timothy was the worst bar tender of all time. I will never walk in if I see him bartending again.
