10 out of 10. If you’re a local and haven’t been or a visitor, do not sleep on this place. Cool location, great menu, and service was perfect. Stephanie was my favorite server I think I’ve ever had; cool vibe, friendly, and super efficient. Dave was super easy to email with in setting up a reservation for 10 couple weeks out (5 adults and 5 kids). The kids all said it was their favorite meal all weekend. We got a lot of the menu, popcorn, peas, pretzel, chicken sando, lamb burger, smash burger, and I had the pork sandwich on this very tasty rosemary ciabatta bread. The beers were great, the jalapeño Marquita, and the Bloody Mary were also excellent. We look forward to coming back!!!
A wonderful craft beer selection with some fantastic breweries, see current menu in pictures. I always want to try as many as possible when touring so getting a flight is the best way, they only offered 3 drinks per flight.A really nice venue, with a great beer garden and views if the Queensboro Bridge and Roosevelt Tramway, I couldnt recommend enough for Craft Beer enthusiasts. We received some great service from entering until we left.We didnt eat so cannot comment, but it looked good and there seemed to be lots of locals eating.Dog Friendly and Sports available on TV.Thanks guys 🍺 🍻
Cool, bar-persons bar. Theres nothing fancy here. Good microbrew selection - thats well described on their QR code menu. Bartender was friendly and engaging. Its dark in there - as real bar should be... Note - their kitchen closes at 10 PM.
Good casual local bar. This is a nice affordable place for a few craft beers with friends. Has a nice selection of beers to check out and staff is friendly if you have questions or need advice. The food was bette than expected for pub food. The place does get packed, but doesn’t feel packed and you can still have conversations and hear people.
Fantastic hidden gem in NYC! We walked in for food, and we left with an amazing time! Not only was the burger what most places call “Gourmet burgers”, but the atmosphere, the beer and most importantly the service was just perfect! A huge shout out to Sheilla! Thank you for looking after us, and making us feel so welcome!
The ambience is top-notch, especially with the open backyard. The happy hour deals were great, and the food was incredibly tasty. Ill definitely be returning for more good times!
Hidden right under the Queensboro Brige, this gem is worth visiting!I wish I could remember the name of the waitress, but either way she was great. Super attentive and had a great vibe.Next visit we will actually try the food food. We only had appetizers but still tasty!
Chill spot to catch up with friends. Great food and drinks. I had the bee sting, comfort zone and creamsicle, the pho taco is delicious! The pretzel was a great starter. Shout out to Stephanie for being a great server and super accommodating. Also side note the first restroom doesn’t lock properly.
Nice pub nested on corner of 60th st. Very friendly staff with huge selection of craft beer! Lots of small plates to share as well as burgers and special of the day such as lobster roll! Love the ambience and huge plus for outdoor seatings in the rear!
Nothing special, music was pretty loud, tables were sticky, food was mid. We sat relatively close to the restroom, you could smell. Prices were usually for the city, too high for what we got, the only time the waiter almost smiled was when we tipped when paying. Not coming back
Love the food. love the vibe and love the drinks. But a bit loud hard to have a conversation. I understand because its a bar. Will definitely go back for the food. One of the best lobster rolls Ive had. Sad that I dont live near that neighborhood any more :(
Visited this place in the afternoon. Seeing the place packed with locals is always a good indicator. If you like to deviate from the regular path, visit this place. Waitress was kind and had a sharp eye for empty glasses. Liked the IPA’s on draft and the backyard terrace. Nice place to hang out
Their outdoor patio area is opened after construction with plenty of seating on a Friday evening! Be wary of the mosquitos and some small critters in the area (like any other outdoor establishment). The wait staff were attentive and quick to take our order. We ordered 1 spicy cheese and 1 Argentinian Beef empanada; both were very flavorful and buttery melts in your mouth. The Pho taco was a bit overpowering in flavor and the beef was not tender and half was unconsumed. I loved the beer and the laid back atmosphere. Great date spot since you can hear while outside. Will be returning for their happy hour deals!
It’s a really a fun bar/restaurant. Their food is supper healthy. We ordered lamb burger and salad with chicken. Taste really good. The drink is non-alcoholic and tasted great.
Nice place to have a beer , close to the Roosevelt Tramway
Great tap selection. Only had the pretzels but they were good. Wonderful craft beer bar.
Very good bar with good food, good beer selections. Bartender was friendly and worked her butt off :)
The Financial Gym had their 1st Money Meetup of 2023 here. The Stagg was wonderful and the food was very good.
Cool bar/restaurant near Roosevelt Tram station. Great lunch and happy hour specials. Good food and lots of beer choices.
Nice place to sit w your friendsAnd the prices are great
This is a wonderful place to hang out and drink a great drink or eat a gorgeous food. They are having a nice backyard too. We were always sitting there :) I am highly recommend it for everyone, even if you do not like alcohol ;)
The Jeffrey is a gem, hiding in plain sight, right there under the Queensboro Bridge. With a solid 3 to 5 pages of rotating craft beers, and an excellent menu of small plates, sandwiches, burgers, and even oysters, everyone is guaranteed to be happy. Unless they have some sort of disability that prevents them from feeling happy, in which case, I am sorry to hear that. Its cozy in the winter, and the back yard patio is open in the summer. Why are you still reading this? I bet another keg just turned over.
This place is so cool! Great crowd. Amazing food. And plenty of beer/drink choices!
Exceptional ambiance and service with a variety of drinks you can’t find elsewhere. 10/10 highly recommend.
Sheila held it down for a large group of us while Ty behind the bar made great drinks at reasonable prices. Nice outdoor area in the back and big TVs for sports.
This is our go to spot for a great craft beer or any other drink when we are in the neighborhood. Fun to ride the aerial team over to Roosevelt Island, or to stop by Serendipity for a crazy dessert if you like! Friendly service and some great options await you here! Stop by if you are in the area!
They have open back yard which should be really nice in nice weather and they do happy hour $1 for one oyster. (I had 2 dozen lol)Their drinks are good and creative and good to have private event as well!
Came for the beer, which was excellent, got the lamb burger, which was also excellent. And if you want an appetizer, go with the pickles, theyre pretty great too!
Great place and vibes! Gigi the bartender is so fun and makes the night so memorable
Incredible spot with dollar oysters during happy hour. Bartenders are friendly and knowledgeable and it’s a nice diverse crowd that frequents here...would highly recommend
Gig the bartender was funny charismatic and the food was giid(smashburger) and you sever Fiddlegead hazy IPA. I will go back. Gigi was awesome!
Lovely craft beers, special menus were helpful and better bang for buck. Food was exceptionally well made. Sat at the bar, so cant say much about the service but the barkeep was attentive and helpful.
Absolutely love the pretzels here. Great drink selection too. Only gripe is the close quarters at the bar. But the food is worth it. Try the truffle cheddar pretzel first!
Love this place. Great beer selection and great food selection. You can tell the food is made with love unlike just about every other bar in the neighborhood.
Had a 15 year old Pappy Von Winkle for $60!! Great beer selection and an awesome burger. Great little spot.
You could never tell the place is soo big. I literally walk beside the place every day but never thought inside such a nice place. Food is good also
Love this place, so cozy, easygoing, good drinks good beers, and the bartenders are super cool!Every time I come in NYC I pass by
Great location. Awesome beer selection. The bartender was very nice. Definitely heading back soon.
Best fries I’ve ever had, great drinks, and even got one on the house. An amazing surprise
Great pub with craft beer. Excellent beer list. Friendly bartenders. Chill vibes. French fries were great.
Had a small event here for a birthday and I cant say enough great things about The Jeffery and the team. Drinks were good, the space was perfect, and the food wed ordered for the group was excellent. Well definitely be back!
PHENOMENAL TRUFFLE MAC & CHEESE. Walked in and got a table weekday summer evening. Nice staff.
Great beer selection and pretty good atmosphere. Can get a bit loud inside. Backyard can be great when its not too crowded (closed right now).A bit inconsistent with the cocktails. I had a mostly Compari Manhattan that was way below acceptable.Service is hit or miss. Some bartenders are very friendly and attentive but not all.Food is so-so but edible.Still, if youre in the hood its a not a bad place to land for a drink.
Great bar! Amazing food and wonderful beer!! Made my 3 hours in NY a memorable one!
Run away from this bar. Overpriced beers and scams (see the picture). The bill wasnt corrected at the end. We ordered 5 beers (12oz) for 124$ (24.8$ per beers!!!) And then we reordered 1 beer (12oz), and it was at 14$ the beer... so same beer and price different (no happy hour on this day).
Great little craft beer bar. Definitely worth a pop in
Waitress was strange and had no clue about the beers/menu - at their price range thats one thing I demand. pricy. interior is a mix of literally everything (wood, tiles, glass, signs, weird lightning etc.), didnt enjoy it tbh.
Really great selection of craft beer, including some really excellent (and harder to find) Vermont gems (re: Hills Farmstead). Would recommend to beer nerds.
I’ve been here 5 times and every time the cocktails are flawless! Mike is a genius, he can craft anything and it’s always on point! Pretzels are delicious too!All of the employees seem great and welcoming!Definitely our regular place.
Standard craft beer and whiskey bar with unique food options including “pho” tacos. Note that there is a stark contrast of vibes for indoor seating vs outdoor (which is near a noisy, busy highway). $10 a drink. 3.75/5 stars as a night bar.
Excellent Food. Diverse and interesting drink options. Something for everyone in your happy hour crew. Cool outdoor deck when the weather cooperates. Great causual atmosphere... but the service is casual as well. Not a deal breaker but if youre in a rush or picky about service be prepared.
Great beer selection, food, and service. Very nice spot.
Surprisingly spacious once you get past the long bar. They have themed events like quizzes at another part of the bar that surprisingly does not interfere with the ambiance at other parts of the bar. In addition, during warmer seasons, there is an outdoor patio available for additional seating. Pretty versatile bar. Good for groups, date nights, dates, friends catching up etc. Also a varied beer selection
Good happy hour deals and a great patio
Great dive bar with well-priced drinks and tasty bar snacks. They have a nice “backyard” that seems brand new. Looks like it can get packed in and out there when the time is right. The prices are very reasonable including the deal on Oysters for happy hour. Haven’t had Oysters in some time so gave it a shot (6 oyster minimum) and the empanadas (Argentinian beef) were very good. Staff was friendly and attentive. Additionally l, good selection of beers.I’d check this place out if you’re looking for a simple dive bar around this area.
Great spot for craft beer. We had an excellent bowl of chilli and Reuben sandwich too. Good service and a cool outside space for good weather. Recommended!
A good variety of beers, with outdoor seating. Food selection is also a plus. service will come but can be a little leisurely. The major downside is space. the bar is essentailly split in two with more seating in the back but if you have a large party, you will struggle to wiggle your way through the bar. Two unisex bathrooms can also backup pretty quickly when busy.
A sizable beer list and good food offerings. The bar area is pretty narrow but the space opens up towards the back and their is some outdoor space. Their beermenu page does not seem to be kept particularly up to date. The paper menus which are printed daily lists everything on tap with helpful descriptions as well as can and wine options. Decent brunch and happy hour specials.
Great craft beer selection! Super oyster happy hour! Nice little backyard. Small space that gets crowded, but its worth it! Food is great too!
Asked for napkins multiple times never got them. Asked for receipts never got it. Claimed they would comp stuff due to moving seat who knows…Other than that food and drinks did arrive quickly and were good quality / flavor.
Great bar in NYC, tasty cocktails, reasonable prices. People are chill, the staff is very pleasant.
Long bar, gets busy inside so we sat outside in the little hut. Server was very knowledgeable and we enjoyed many beers plus a bonus beer that they werent serving. She was very cute as well. I would go back just to talk with her.
First time eating here. What looked like awesome affordable Oktoberfest lunch disappointed big time ☹️ Fries were refried or completely forgotten in fryer. its a baby brat - didnt taste like a solid bratty. More like hillshire farms in a bad American hotdog bun. No kraut.Server nice guy, flying solo. So not a comment on him, a lot to put on one dude. Recommend, beer pub so offer beer fr moment ur seated and given water. So even if ur waiting while for someone to get ur order, u can enjoy a pint in killer Bier garten
This is my go to spot. Amazing beer selection, good food menu, solid service. Good for a date or dinner with a friend, I usually just sit at the bar but they also have nice high top tables and a patio out back.
Max is absolutely phenomenal. We came here on Christmas Eve. He was so nice and talkative. Even on Christmas Eve—when most places weren’t open. We appreciated his hospitality. They have free portable chargers. You don’t even need to find a plug in for your phone. Thank you Max. Merry Christmas.
Made me a drink and forgot to add vodka took forever for drinks and not busy.
Love this place! Great happy hour, $1 oysters, affordable and delicious cocktails, and wonderful sandwiches! (Im obsessed with the pork au jus). My favorite place in the neighborhood!
Great selection of local and different beers, good food, and incredible service. Long tight bar up front but tons of space in the back and outside. Surprised, but glad that not a lot of people know about this place!
Really great little craft beer pub which is making the best of limited outdoor space. There are some tall tables and well organized service. Unfortunately the digital menu didnt work on my phone, but thats a minor issue. The draft beers were all great and the bites were unusual (dates with blue cheese and bacon) but worked.
Real good at keeping people satisfied. They have nice venues for big crowds.
Happy hour until 7pm with $5 beers. The O.G. burger was okay, but filling. The chips have a rosemary(?) seasoning on it--Im not a huge fan of rosemary, and the chips could have used a bit of salt. Overall, nice atmosphere, and Id go back again for happy hour!
Great lunch and sips. Definitely enjoyed the happy hour drinks!
Very cool and woodsy bar with a huge beer selection and a nice beer garden in the back. The inside is a little cramped and dark, so if possible, hit up the backyard garden with nice big picnic tables for your brew. The beer menu is huge but very heavily hopped, so not many malty or sour choices. Service was super fast for both drinks and food.
Great beer. Good food. Always understaffed. We love coming for workday lunches and they always run over the time we have, so make sure to get in earlier if you want to leave on time.
The Jeffery does it all! Get the pho tacos, they combine two amazing foods and create a masterpiece! My wife and I recently moved into the neighborhood from Seattle, where craft beer and coffee are top quality. When I found The Jeffery I realized I moved into a great area. The coffee bar in the mornings is great. The patio in the afternoon is perfect. The food and beer selections are unique and filling. I take out of town guests here often to show them my unique friendly neighborhood bar.
Good bar in UES. Beer and food options for all sorts of people. 👻😊
Great spot for hard to find craft beers. Excellent selection of Vermont beers from Lawsons and Hill Farmstead.
We have visited several times and always get great customer service! The food is delicious and they beer selection is always really good. We havent had one bad experience here. This is an awesome neighborhood hangout!
I recently visited my daughter in NYC and spent some time at this great place. Beers? Amazing! Staff? Even better! Such a fun neighborhood hang with incredible choices and uber friendly staff! If you are looking for a local hang or just a quick visit their extensive beer menu has something for everyone! #stephisthebest
One of the best places to hang out in the UES. They have happy hour until late, until 1 am.Best beer pub so far for me in upper east side after 6 weeks living here.Beers are amazing, cost 5 to 8 USD.NOT crowded. Excelent environment to watch a game peacefully, hang with friends or go out in a date. They have a couple of tables at the back that are just perfect.Attention is awesome. Always kind and smiling.Food is quite good and reasonable prices. You can share dishes.
Very cool place Jeffrey, great beer, even better pretzels, cool location. Must visit.
Great place to hang out, great service in the bar and great selection of beers 👍
Great local and comfortable craft beer pub with a great (large) outdoor space that is open until midnight. great Cuban sandwich (honestly probably the best I have had in the city - other place was in LES claiming to be the “best Cuban” and was super average. This can compete with a Miami Cuban sandwich. Really great prices (fair) overall. Service was super. Highly recommend.
This was one of my go-to spots while in or around the UES, but the last experience threw me off. My wife and I ordered a pretzel (popular item) along with some other items, and while we’re cutting into it, we notice fuzz on it, which happened to be mold. Then of course you start wondering what else back in the kitchen hasn’t been inspected before serving. Obviously we sent this back, but rather than any real “fix”, they just removed the item from the tab and we just ended up paying for everything else. Kind of a bummer. The other minor annoyance was when ordering a very exclusive beer from the menu that I was genuinely excited for, the waiter went back and came out to tell us it was out. Also a bummer. I understand this happens, but when you’re dealing with more than one disappointment at a place, it’s hard to be present and enjoy the experience.
One of my favorite places! I really love thé pressed turkey sandwich they have. The environment is super cozy and the staff is always sweet. Shout out to my favorite bartender Tiffany. 💕
Good craft beer list (including brews from Other Half, Hudson Valley and Grimm) at good prices
Traveling and looking to experience NYC atmosphere? This is the place.Go during rush hours and fight for your spot on a table inside or if youre lucky enough, on the terrace (if weather permits).Fairly priced for the area, loud and greasy with great service.Waitresses knows what theyre doing and manage well through the crowed.Enjoy!
We try to get to Manhattan at least once a year up from PA. However, we wanted to find a local pub that wasnt overloaded with tourists nor gave off a touristy vibe, as many places are in the area. Took a stroll off the beaten path on the upper east side and low and behold stumbled into The Jeffery. This place is as unpretentious as they come, delivering food, beer and an atmosphere that is uber appealng. Never had a bad experience and the crowds are great. Keep up the good service!!
Great craft beer bar with a wide variety of selections as well as really good food. Great ambience, backyard working as a terrace and good music. Friendly staff but should probably ask at the bar for beer advice
Great selection of craft beer and small bites. Good music!
Great rotating beer selection and REALLY good food. Staff are also super cool. Best patio in the UES.
Awesome beers here. They got some cans from Alchemist, Treehouse, and Trillium right now!
Nice place. The waiter was super friendly, they have portable phone chargers. The potatoes that come with the sandwich are very sad. Hopefully they will do french fries in the future.
Narrow building with two different bars, one serving hard liquor and the other beer. There is limited seating, but includes outdoor space weather permitting. Very good drink deals.
Kinda loud. Not gonna fault the for it because it fits their scene. Tacos delicious. Beer wonderful. 10/10 would go to again. Decent price.
Amazing cocktails and the food was so good I forgot to take a photo before it was gone. Lamb burger and pork melt au jus! Mike the bartender was amazing. Cant recommend higher.
Staff was great, beer and liquor selection is amazing, if you wanna try something new. Black truffle chips were phenomenal, lamb burger was a bit bland, but perfectly cooked.
We found The Jeffrey and what a find, friendly staff and great service and fabulous selection of craft beer. Highly recommend this fabulous place to anyone.
What a gem! Dope outdoor seating (until 9 or 10pm when they usher you in). Cozy, chill seating and bar areas inside, too. Creative, delish food (mm, Phô flank steak taco). Tons of craft beers. Attentive, diligent, friendly staff. Subtle, thoughtful touches (water on every table, helpful signs directing you to bathrooms, glow in the dark table top phone charging bricks free of charge). Ill def be back!
I am fan of the Simcoe hop, so had the IPA from the Other Half brewery (Brooklyn) -- hit the spot. The Med plate of bites (warm pita bread, hummus, olives) was excellent as well. Decent pub ambience, friendly staff -- what more can I ask for? -- so upping my rating from 4 to 5
Best bar to eat and drink, the way you like it.
Great selection of frequently updated craft beers on tap. Good bites to nibble on. What else do you need?
Really great bar. Everything is well thought out. The beers are delicious and the bartenders give great recommendations. One of my favorite places to stop by and a great place to watch Sunday football.
I liked the atmosphere and part of the menu because im vegan. I was charged 10.00 dollars for a piece for two beers when they were 8.00 dollars a piece. We were just overcharged at sweet green too. Im done eating out.
Absolutely outstanding selection of beers! The food is good too. The meat and cheese platter (from Murrays in the Village) is an amazing deal. Nice patio at the back.
Great service, great prices for brunch! The breakfast tacos and the mushroom/gruyere omelette were a hit with our group. Waitress made us a fresh pot of coffee and was able to accommodate a group of 8 with no reservation on a Saturday midday which was excellent. Will be back for a beer next time I’m commuting back on the gondola from Roosevelt Island for some reason...
Rustic locale and many, many hard to find taps. Excellent pub grub and a great tap list, always. Cant go wrong at the Jeffrey and dont forget about the mini cocktail bar tucked away inside.
There are two different sides to this place, with two radically different offerings (even though they share the back). One side has Jacob, master mixologist. With a bushy beard and a huge smile, get weird with him and have a unique masterfully crafted every time. The other side has great craft beers and food; I had two tasty Sigmunds pretzels with pub cheese and spicy mustard, and fresh oysters. Often crowded, the food and cocktails are a little pricey, but totally worth it.
Great assortment of appetizers and share platters and a great assortment of local and import beers. The pretzels, specifically, are really, really delicious. The only downside is that when packed, its just too damn loud. This is not the place for heart to hearts!
Great food and good drinks , one the last pubs in midtown . They have house phone chargers. WHAT so dope!!! Dollar oysters need to come here
Great selection of beers and the food is good. Popcorn is great!
Open for lunch during the week on Thursday and Friday (open on the weekend), the good, beverages, staff and atmosphere (check out the back area) are all top notch. This place stands out in the neighborhood especially for its kitchen.
Rare and delicious beers are paired with an expert bartender ready to make recommendations or offer a sample. The food is nice - truffle popcorn, chili, or classic burger make a nice pairing for the great selection of stouts, sours, and IPAs.
Great deviled eggs and happy hour drinks
This place is a secret treasure and demonstrates that if you have good food and great craft beer that people will come. The location is not great, but once you enter the vibe is relaxed, service was good, the outdoor seating area is quaint and the food/beer combo make it worth the trip.
Best beer list in midtown east. can get really crowded though. back patio is good for lunch. New renovations in the back are awesome.
Nice place.. Plenty of craft beer choices
The Jeffrey is a UNICORN in this neighborhood and a MUST!First off, the beer list is extensive and updated for the AM and PM, with both local and state beers on tap from all over! THE STAFF are so friendly and have great recommendations. There are bars on either side, one for primarily beers, and the other is a coffee and cocktail bar. THE COCKTAILS. You must ask their awesome bartender, The Alchemist, for a cocktail – try asking for somethin sweet/sour/spicy or for a particular spirit, and hell give you a recommendation.THE SNACKS and sandwiches are all tasty and amazing. My recommendations include the truffle popcorn, the Sriracha peas, the rosemary potato chips, the chips and guacamole, the pretzels from Sigmunds, and the teriyaki beef jerky. Wish they had something sweet for dessert, though.Definitely come here for brunch and sit on the outdoor patio and get one of their tasty brunch cocktails, or stop by the coffee bar in the morning for a croissant. They also offer coffee cocktails, which are a great experience. The people here are really great, and Ive had some of the best nights here meeting the staff and people in the neighborhood from all walks of life.Follow them on Twitter, too – Ive won a T-shirt and beer from a Twitter contest.
Awesome place! Fantastic drinks. Great bartender
Probably my favorite bar and place to get a quick bite in NYC. Honestly its pretty much all you could ask for: staff is extremely friendly and offer great advice when it comes to their really large beer selection, the food is great, I really love the tacos and this place has that really cozy and homelike feel that you hardly find elsewhere.
PretzelsThese are actually Sigmund’s pretzels, and if you haven’t had them before, they’re pretty great. You have three options available to you - salted, garlic and parsley, or truffle cheddar. We usually go for all three and share them.Red Beet Deviled EggsBright red, a little bit earthy, and pretty damn tasty. Order them if you like beets and/or eggs.Devils On HorsebackBacon wrapped dates. These are sweet and salty, as they should be. Great as a snack to go with that 11% IPA you’re sipping on.The Jeffrey ReubensteinA very solid reuben with an IPA mustard that has a unique flavor. You can’t go wrong with this one.
Great beer selection and really good food. I had the roast beef sandwich and would and recommend those. The tacos were a big hit too.
Excellent bar with great beers & food, plus chilled atmosphere. Awesome place to relax after work
Good place for beers and burgers or snacks in their back garden. The wait wasnt long at all and we had a drink while we waited. Casual, nice place with a great beer selection
A lovely, Lovely place to share a drink when socialising. Friendly staff and the food os top class. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Place is great for drinks whether it be from their huge beer selection to the mixed drinks. The food is amazing and always on point.
Great beer selection, but I wish more beers were available for the happy hour pricing (until 7pm on weekdays). Beware the tacos on Tuesday - deceptively spicy!
The Jeffrey has a large variety of beers and the even switch out the kegs and menus at night so you can try new beers if you stay there long enough! They also have a good selection of food to go with it. The only con would be that the music is loud, so it was very hard to hear my friend sitting across the table from me.
Great beer and food selection. Plenty of space for a couple of people post work hangout. Friendly staff every time Ive been there
Great beer and food selection. Super friendly, knowledgeable and engaging staff. Awesome playlist.
Visited for one pint. Great atmosphere and service. The beer I got was a miss but in general they have is impressive.
I ordered A beer and Burger, Both were very tasty. When I got the bill I realized that the beer was a part of the lunch special! so basically you can get a free beer during lunch-time.
A beer bar and cocktail bar combined, but also separate. Two long narrow spaces connected in the rear where youll find some tables, and also access to the patio. The interior is a bit rough and unpolished, and gives the place a cozy/divey feel. About 30 rotating taps, wine, cider, and a full bar. The food menu includes everything from classic bar snacks to sandwiches, salads & soups to Long Island oysters. Part of the Beerly Legal Group.
Interesting food options. They ran out on the oysters when I was there but the food is pretty good. Some pho tacos and a lamb burger.
Good food and good cocktails. Can get a bit crowded at the bar during rush hours - and I feel like the TVs detract from the artisanal vibe of the place. But a solid choice, particularly for the area.
Cool place. There are actually 2 bars in it. Only complaint is that there beer selection is lacking in the pilsner & lager department. Lots of pale ale and shots though, if thats your thing.
I visited this place on a Friday night. Its fairly inconspicuous, not far from the bridge on a corner street. The bar is narrow and long, with a fair selection of beers.
Great beer selection and unique tacos that make you want another round. I recommend the Pho and Buffalo Chicken tacos. Great people tending bar as well. Enjoy!
Nice place to have some beer but a little place to visit. It has to be more bigger to bring friends.
A place that feels like home. Good food, friendly atmosphere and terrific staff make Jeffrey worth a visit. Its a bit of throwback to the 80s & 90s when I lived in NYC.. and that felt good too.
Located right at the foot of the Queensboro (Ed Koch Bridge) and the Roosevelt Island Tram, this was my go to bar in the neighborhood to grab a quick drink before heading home to Roosevelt Island. The clientele is mixed but tends to be more on the hipster-side.
For what appears to be a hole in the wall place, this bar was pleasantly satisfying. Amazing beer selection and tasty appetizers. Highly recommend.
The beer menu is formidable, featuring beers light and dark, hoppy or sweet, and even cask, can, or draft. Add on a super friendly bar staff and a cool local crowd.
Second visit in 6 months to this bar and on both occasions the bar was full but service still quick, wide selection of beers on tap. A neighbourhood bar that is welcoming to tourists
Great spot in Manhattan. Affordable prices
Favourite NYC Bar. They serve an amazing selection of beers along with really great food. They also do a pretty great brunch. People should just go here.
Company event. Great ambience and service. Food was okay. Empanadas needed more seasoning.
A nice place to enjoy local and imported CBs. Approx. twenty CBs available on tap. Friendly staff and a convenient location for commuters. Reasonable prices.
We went there for after work drinks with our team. The beer selection was very interesting and good. We ordered Mediterranean platters which was good.
Great beer selection, good variety of pub food that is well prepared, unique layout just under the Roosevelt Island tram.
Great place for craftbeer-fans, love the nyc ipas & sours theyve got.
The best beer bar in NYC period. Amazing food and staff. Neighborhood joint couldn’t be more true
We came for happy hour! We got fresh oysters! And great spicy margaritas! 100% recommended 👌
Favourite pub in NYC. Great beers (constantly evolving list with stouts, IPAs, lagers, Helles etc etc) friendly staff and amazing food. Try the Impossible Burger ✌
Great lowkey spot! Go check out Sapphire next door for free entry say JEFF at the door! Guestlist works at every Sapphire location.
Awesome range of craft beers on tap, cool to see some kiwi beers there too! Place is a touch small but that kind of adds to the atmosphere
What a place! Great beers, from around the US. Their take on tacos is well worth a visit on Taco Tuesdays, and do try their Housemade Teriyaki Beef Jerky
Great place, outstanding beer selection and service. Server was attentive and knowledgeable. Food was on par with the beer, highly recommended.
This place is such an amazing find in the neighborhood! We work down the street and enjoy happy hour quite often! Love the vibe, also the truffle popcorn is amazing!
One of my favorite spots for a good beer and burger. Can get crowded and hard to find a spot. In summer months outdoor space is great.
Absolutely fantastic craft beer bar, run by fantastic people. Unreal selection of Stout and food almost killed me (in a good way). Go to this bar (yes right now).
One of the best beer lists in Manhattan. Friendly staff and awesome patio for the summer months. Doesnt get much better.
Nice place! Friendly, clean, affordable. Good variety of beer, great food, right portions. Will visit again.
Great choice of beers and friendly service! The Tacos are insane and the bartender gave also great recommendations! Highly recommended.
I really enjoyed my nitro porter beer!
Perfect spot off the Roosevelt cable car. Great deal on oysters 🦪 4-7 but worth a visit anytime
Excellent beer selection but it gets busy and for some reason they always close the outdoor seating area in the afternoon.
Such a great spot with attentive staff!
Didnt realize beer cheese was spicy. Good service. Ok beer. Nice atmosphere.
A must see place for craft beer enthusiasts. Cozy athmosphere and milieu. Save your hunger - the food is great too!
I used to love it here. But this time i wasn’t as warmly welcomed. Server I guess not having a good day. Not sure I’d go back :,(
Great food, fast friendly service. Loved the atmosphere of this place.
Awesome place, good vibes of the neighborhood, good draft beers.
Deep bench on the micro taps. Happy hour $5 for a pint. Impossible burger. Nuff said.
Laid back and cozy atmosphere. Delicious cocktails and food. Nice backyard. Love this place!
Nice atmosphere, big selection of beers, good deals from 4pm to 7pm and the food is pretty tasty. Service is fast and efficient.
Polite staff, good food. Didnt try their beer so no judgement
Great food with a very extensive menu meaning one is sure to find something that appeals to their taste. Portions large for their price point and service was fast despite the consistently busy atmosphere. Servers were attentive while never being overbearing. Also an excellent draft selection. Would rate high for those looking for a meal and a couple beers to go along with it.
From Wisconsin and my friend brought us here and by far an amazing experience. The staff is incredible and the patrons were very friendly. Definitely will come back next time.
Good selection of beers on tap; but missing quite a few in bottles in cans seen elsewhere; food is tasty; often too crowded
Place is nice n cozy, service is great, food is also good n prices r reasonable.
Nice out of the way cosy bar with locally sourced beer. Its definitely be a 5 star if you love your craft beers.
Really nice craft bar with eccentric takes on bar foods. The staff were overly helpful and friendly. The drinks were good, and so was the food.
Great drink selection and the food is superb. Been back a few times and looking forward to the backyard garden deck in the warmer months.
They put brunch drink (complementary w entree ) on my bill intentionally … I needed to ask to correct twice.. so careful about your bill…
Great bar, lovely pilsner lager, fab burgers & super friendly staff.Bit of a tight squeeze, sorry to the woman I totalled with my rucksack on the way out!
Wonderful little bar with a good craft beer selection and good food. Try the Pho tacos, they were great!
My local bar. Great beers and food. The staff are super friendly. Highly recommended.

Amazing!! First time coming to this place, our waiter was very professional. Will definitely come back! This place makes you feel like home.

Super cool spot. Not a huge beer selection but what they have is really good.
Great beer, nice atmosphere, and delicious food (although it’s a little expensive). Come on Mondays at 8:30pm for trivia.
Great place with really nice drinks and beers and a really nice atmosphere! Highly recommended!
A little bro-y but otherwise a decent spot to grab some small bites and a drink or two. I enjoyed my cocktail and the salad was solid.
Great drinks selection in a tiny place. Its always crowded, but the atmosphere makes me go back often.
