This is an awesome rooftop with amazing views of the Manhattan Skyline. The food and cocktails delightful and creative. The DJ played a good blend of classic r&b, 90s R&B hits, hiphop, reggae, etc to just make the whole experience RIGHT .
First of all, I like to say that this place looks amazing in the inside and on the outside balcony. The downfall is the food selection compared to lost in Paradise it lacks badly. You will shell out $20 for a bowl of truffle fries and the hummus meal it had the hardest 3 day old pita bread I’ve ever had in my life. The drinks are overpriced for what you get a $21 cup of ice with a half an inch of liquor and $26 for a sip of whiskey. My option is choose the beer for $11. The tip is already included in no matter what they get 20% even if the service is bad and they will not bring The food to the balcony only indoor. This is a great place to go and take your Instagram photos and videos.
This place is so vibey. The lighting, the seating, the picture windows - it all hits you when you walk in.There was a DJ, a bit loud, but we were close to him, and the music was perfect. He hit every song and had a great variety. Definitely helped keep the mood going. We had the duck confit croquettes and the short rib crostinis. The duck croquettes were absolutely delicious but came out at room temperature. We still loved them but wished they were hot and fresh. They were starting to get a bit wet on the bottom from sitting for so long. The short ribs crostinis were fabulous. They are served with a horseradish cream, but I didnt taste any horseradish at all, which is fine by me, but my husband was a bit disappointed as he was looking forward to that sharpness. I thought they were excellent. The drinks are inventive, unique, and skillfully made. They use interesting ingredients and are easy on the eyes. They do not skimp on alcohol. The prices are about $19-25 depending on what you order. The night we were there was a bit rainy but you could still go to the balcony and the view was incredible. Its right on top of the Queensboro Bridge, so you get this wildly majestic view of both sides. We are so pleased to have gone here and would absolutely return. The food and drinks were really great but the view and mood was everything. Its also really close to the cable car, so that was a fun way to get back into the city. This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.
The view here are amazing, its always a good atmosphere. Good music, drinks are ok. Been here in every season of the year.
One of the best rooftops in New York. Amazing views! Usually great service but it’s starting to get bad. Our waiter knew nothing about the menu. We asked what sauce the steak had and he said ‘regular’ sauce. I love this place so I really don’t want it to just become a tourist spot with horrible service. TRAIN YOUR STAFF!
Loved loved loved…. Great beer 🍺 drink 🍹 or wine 🍷 with a view! I ordered the truffle fries they were to die and huge portion I didn’t even get a picture for I’m actually craving them right now, service was on point loved just sitting out in the balcony overlooking the beautiful city and the atmosphere was very elegant of course but also chill and lay back loved the sitting areas even tho it was all taken but the layout is very inviting I wanted to stay longer!
A visit to the Panorama room is a must when visiting Roosevelt island. The views from up here are the best! You can see one end of Roosevelt island, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens all from one rooftop. We went here without prior reservations on a weekend afternoon and we were able to get seats outside. We did get cocktails but the drinks and food here are extremely overpriced.
I recently went to the Panorama Room and had mixed feelings. The view is beautiful, but on a busy Friday evening, it was obstructed by people. Despite reserving a spot via Resy, we were asked to sit and grab drinks, which felt like a waste of time. After waiting for 40 minutes and prompting the host, we were finally told our table was ready. The food was okay, and the drinks were overpriced. While the view is great if you manage to get a good spot, the overall experience left much to be desired. For more pictures and detailed reviews check out my IG: @adventureofourlifetime
Nice rooftop with great views, good for a drink with friends. It has an indoor bar and an outside terrace with some free tables and stools for those booking the standing room option.
The view of NY - it’s five star. The service sucks (one inefficient server for all the lounge tables), food selection is below par. Drinks were ok. The bar lights are cheesy. The elevators to the bar weren’t working - ok, 1 out of 4 was - for both the hotel guests and bar. Waited for a while to get into one.
Incredible rooftop bar! You could go up to the bar for free and it wasnt too busy during sunset hours on the weekday. It did seem to get busy as it became night time. But its a beautiful place to see the city and also Roosevelt Island was a nice place to travel to by cable car.
The Panorama Room instantly became one of my favorite rooftops in NYC. It has spectacular views of the East River, Manhattan, and Roosevelt Island. To get there, you have to take a 5 minute tram from Manhattan that gives you the best views of the Queensborough bridge. You then have to take a 5 minute walk to the Graduate Hotel and ride the elevator up to the top floor. There is a small wait to ride the escalator because they need to escort you up.The rooftop has a lot of indoor seating but it must be reserved. They serve several specialty cocktails all priced around $20. They also have a limited food menu. Outdoor seating is very limited but most people were standing and taking pictures of the stunning views anyways.I suggest you go on a weeknight because it must be packed on the weekends.
The “house” cocktails are trash. Taste like top shelf secretly replaced with off brand , nothing really taste as described. Service feels like a scam asked to pay after every round of drinks although at a reserved table.Only saving grace was friends at the table and the DJ. Begged for a manager who eventually came to help but alcohol isn’t not top shelf as listed on menu. Great spot if you’re already drunk and don’t care what you pay for.
We visited here for cocktails on a gorgeous, sunny day. We didn’t book in advance but I strongly recommend that you do. Very easy to get to if you go over to Roosevelt Island on the gondola.
The view and the drinks were amazing but the food is not that great. After all it was a great experience to see such a beautiful view of New York
AMAZING atmosphere and view especially from balcony. Drink is strong and pricey as you would expect for the place. Bartender was unfriendly and provided just the bare minimum service. 2 out of 3 drinks we ordered were also wrong. Will come back for the view if in the area but would not go out of our way for it.
This is a FABULOUS spot just for the city views. If you survive getting stuck in the elevator just to get up to the panorama room youll get to enjoy them. The system for getting getting to the restaurant is very wacky. Everyone in our party got stuck. I saw that a number of strangers did too!The food was okay. We had marinated olives that were clearly not marinated. The other dish was not even memorable. My impression is the menu is trying to be fancier than theyre able to pull off.The specialty cocktails we tried were not great, but the waitress brought me a different one after I didnt like the one I ordered. It was a little better, but its suggest you stick to classic drinks and take in the vistas.
Spectacular views of Manhattan combined with well made cocktails. Located on Roosevelt island. Can see both Brooklyn and Manhattan. Definitely a must see for new york visitors.
Beautiful scenery, gluten free beer optionTruly relaxing. Great cocktails.
The rooftop bar is amazing! Entry to the bar is free, and during sunset on a weekday, it wasn’t too crowded. However, as evening turned into night, the place began to fill up. It’s a stunning spot to enjoy city views, and taking the cable car to Roosevelt Island added to the experience.
Not bad. However, the service can be much better. The food was really good, especially the waffle fries. Our server took forever to wait on us, which was dreadful.
Panorama Room on Roosevelt Island is a charming spot with a laid-back vibe thats perfect for a relaxing evening. The moment you walk in, youre greeted by the soothing sounds of jazz, creating a mellow atmosphere thats hard to resist. The quirky bookshelf that wraps around the entire bar adds a unique and cozy touch. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure you feel right at home. The drink menu is impressive, featuring a delightful array of flavorful alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails.Although I didnt try the food, the enticing aromas wafting from the kitchen made it clear that the culinary offerings are something special. The drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, were crafted with care and packed with delicious flavors. However, its worth noting that the prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the experience makes it worthwhile. One slight letdown was the view. I had expected an elevated perspective of the Manhattan skyline, but it wasnt quite as breathtaking as imagined. Despite this, Panorama Bar remains a great spot to unwind. Overall, its a lovely place to enjoy a chilled-out drink and some live jazz. I would definitely pop back in for another visit if I return to Roosevelt Island.
Our bar server left my fries SITTING for a while even after seeing the ticket under them we had to ask and it was then that he grabbed them and put them in front of us, FRIES WERE COLD! I’m sure he took them to the back and threw them in the microwave oven because They we Not Fresh!!! Service was so mediocre, place has potential, but please hire more qualified people.
We did not have any food :(The view is spectacular.Great place for a date. Group friends and business.
If you want a bar (for date night/groups) with great views of the city, this is a great option. Making a reservation was pretty easy and is recommended. We didn’t get food but the cocktails were great and the service was decent. Gratuity is already included.Would definitely recommend!
Beautiful views! Great drinks for apps and drinks. Try Duality - we had 2 and wanted more! Friendly staff.
The view was gorgeous, but unfortunately, we never get to experience food or drinks because the bartender preferred doing anything but approaching us. He definitely saw us standing there for some time, but apparently, customers are not that important. So we left without being served at all. Thanks for nothing, I guess.
I didn’t have a chance to try food or drinks here, but I was hired as a photographer to capture a secret proposal on their rooftop before the restaurant opened. From a photographer’s perspective, I should say that the view is amazing, like nothing else that I’ve seen before. The lighting is great. Place is really cool
The food and drinks are fine but the view of the Manhattan skyline is just spectacular 🤩. You should visit and spend some time with some drink or food by the balcony just to take in the views. I would definitely go there again 💯. Also they have like 2-3 non alcoholic drinks 😅.
If you arrive an hour before sunset bring a wide brimmed hat. Its boiling hot inside and blindingly bright with the sun streaming in. The hostess was very impatient when we asked to try a different table, despite the place being half empty. The cocktails were delicious, sure. But for $28 a pop, I would expect a nicer experience!
This is a really cool spot. We had reservations for a Friday in February after they previously cancelled a prior reservation we had for a private event. I was thrown off but really wanted to try it because Roosevelt island is a great place to visit. The staff was very friendly. I’m glad we had a reservation because the bar was packed. The only reason I took off a star is because these are insane prices. We had 2 tiny drinks each (2 people) and our bill was $100. That is ridiculous. We didn’t try any food. I’d come again honestly because the vibes were cool and the view is great. Take the tram from midtown and it’s only a 5 minute walk. Would recommend
This was a very nice experience! Great panoramic views, hence the name panorama room. The food and drinks were really good. The service was excellent, and the overall vibe and atmosphere were nice. This is a wonderful spot to bring your out of town guests because it will really give them the New York City experience. This is also a good date spot to meet for a drink and a quick bite. I plan to return, and I highly recommend it to others too!
I hosted my birthday dinner/party here in December, and Id like to give a big shoutout to the team who took care of me and my group that night. I brought roughly 21 people and the host made sure we were comfortable, even moving our seats when we were feeling tight. The night of staff was so warm and welcoming. The space is stellar, such a beautiful location that has a perfect view of the skyline. The drinks and food were amazing. I would say its not a BIG buffet but great small bite sized portions for chewing on with your drinks. I did do a pre-fixed menu. They even came in and gave me a small cake for my birthday. The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars in stead of a perfect 5 is because no one answers the phone so when I had some pressing questions, I did have to email. However, they were responsive via email closer to my event. I highly recommend for a gathering/party that you want to get quality drinks.
Exquisite bar and restaurant located on top if the Graduate Hotel on Roosevelt Island. We camped out the bar and enjoyed signature drinks a delicious premium bar food. On a warm Friday night, it was busy but not crowded Great views of the city from a outdoor deck. Accessable via car, subway, tram or NYC ferry. Property was visually stunning. Look forward to going back.
Had date night here this past Saturday. We had a reservation for 2 at 8 PM and did not get our table until 8:10 PM. That alone is fine, a few minutes later, not a big deal. However, the food was not good at all, best thing were the fries and fries are not that difficult to make. Our drinks arrived AFTER we finished eating. The waitress took them off our bill of course due to how late they were. Only good thing about this place was the view. The view is beautiful and if you want space to take photos, a reservation on the patio is highly recommended. Otherwise you need to fight for any type of personal space to even get a photo. OH and there is no dress code, anyone was allowed to come here with any clothing.
View is unbeatable but not only were cocktails overpriced, none of them were balanced. They were all sugary. 20% tip is also mandatory. The music was way too loud. If you have friends visiting take them elsewhere.
Great place, they put us at the bar because we didnt have a reservation. the bartenders were attentive and quickly prepared cocktails. Calm atmosphere and beautiful bright place to visit. the cocktails were interesting. The only thing that surprised us was that we were forbidden to take pictures with the camera, and this was very unfriendly, considering that we took pictures on the balcony where there was no one else but us.
Went for Saturday Brunch, views and ambience are impeccable… Food and drinks are decent. Uber or Take the tram over because the valet parking will cost you $50 for up to 4 hours.
Worth it to see the view but advise you leave immediately after… We made the mistake of staying for a drink. We had to serve ourselves water, go to the bar to order anything (where we were ignored by the bartender) and carry everything back to the table ourselves. All orders include a mandatory 20% gratuity and they have the audacity to request an extra tip on top of that. No wonder the place was empty on a gorgeous afternoon.
The place is smaller than I expected. but the view is awesome. we tried the caviar nachos. was different. the chips were dried bananas. They have non-alcoholic cocktails. We went without an appointment
My wife and I recently visited a rooftop bar with friends, and it was an incredible experience. The atmosphere was vibrant, and the cocktails were top-notch. We didnt feel the need to eat, but the food looked fantastic. The stunning view added to the overall charm. Highly recommend!
Cool rooftop bar with amazing views. There’s no seating options outside which is nice but not great if you’re trying to enjoy the view while sitting inside. If you want to be seated make sure you make a reservation beforehand. They have snacks and drinks. Their cocktail menu is good but all three drinks we had weren’t special taste-wise. We had ASCENDING FORMS, MEMORIES OF THE NIGHT and, DANCER AT THE PIGALLE.
Stunning view of the city! People are casual and people are also dressed up, so it’s very mixed. It’s pricy for drinks, and they add the tip amount on themselves, first place we had been that added on their tip without allowing us to do it. Maybe it’s because they know it’s very touristy and some cultures aren’t so big on tipping, even though we are Scottish, we always tip and tip well. I would have liked the opportunity to decide what I would like to tip as that’s what tipping is about right? As much as it was pricy we didn’t mind as we enjoyed the view and it was a very nice night, we got the tram over which was also cool to do. We would return when we go back to NYC.
Great addition to the NYC nightlife and rooftop scene! The views are amazing as they provide a different view of NYC, the crowd is beautiful, the drinks are great, and the service is excellent. The drinks are on the pricier side averaging $18-$22, but youre paying more for the ambiance rather than the drinks themselves. It’s a great spot to go with a date if you’re really into them and want to impress them, go with family so they can take in the breathtaking views, or go with friends prior to ending the night somewhere. It’s definitely worth making a reservation so you can have your table be your base while you walk around on the outdoor deck, but you’ll be fine without reservations.
Would love to give them a 5 but with no dessert and truffle fries that don’t taste like truffle I can’t bring myself to it.Incredible view of the city is worth the visit alone but the tuna Cruda was incredible too.Visit before it gets cold but be aware it’s hard to get a reservation.
Nice sunset spot! Definitely worth checking while visiting Roosevelt Island.Edit: I went there again for a cocktail with friends. They’re definitely worth the price and they’re sooo beautiful. I chose the sparkly one (don’t remember the name).
If youre looking to make large party reservations, especially for corporate events, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO DO SO!!!This place is seriously overpriced for no reason except the views. They dont just charge price and tax, there is also a gratuity fee thats part of the check. The furnishings and the venue look decrepit. I used the restroom and there was a faucet handle missing. Ive never had food here, but Im obligated to make large party reservations in this venue for corporate events and it is a nightmare each and every time. There is way too much unnecessary back and forth. The turnover rate is horrible and staff are constantly changing. The systems in place are inefficient and because of staff turnover no one ever knows anything and folks need to consult with others to confirm information, which takes time. If your organization is tax-exempt, they will not comply neither with a tax-exempt certificate being sent ahead of time nor a corporate card that states tax-exempt on it....the incompetence is just ridiculously out of this world. This is not the case with just Panorama Room, its the case with all of Graduate New Yorks entities: their hotel, the hotels Anything At All restaurant, and Panorama. If you call to try and speak to a representative, youll get the runaround after being on hold for quite some time.Save yourself the trouble and energy and book elsewhere!!!
A place that has a wonderful taste of NYC, the drinks are very good, in terms of flavor and speech, the bartenders are very friendly and the music is very good. variety both Latin and English, if you have a car there are not many options to park nearby, but the island has a public parking lot, and it has a free bus, which runs all night that can take you closer to the place, they have food but it is once alone. drink super recommended drinks
I totally loved this place!! It’s so underrated. It has beautiful views of the city. They are incredible. The inside is so chic and pretty I absolutely loved the vibe. It’s very elevated. The service is amazing and everyone is so helpful and friendly. This is a get place for drinks or to go out. They also play really fun music. I would come back again for sure.
Amazing view of Manhattan! Very nice bar. Highly recommended for a date night. The place needs reservations especially for a large group of people and in holidays. We were a group of almost 10 people all doctors, after we paid for the check the service lady, after taking away all the glasses and cups, came back again and took our small table light and put it on another table (looking like she wanted to kick us out!) while we were still there and we were discussing on our next plan! Not only me also some of my other friends found this action very unprofessional which I didn’t expect! I don’t know it is their policy or it happened only to us.
Reservation process is confusing. We had a reservation and there were several tables without « Reserved » sign and still they told us we had to wait for an hour. We ended up sitting in the terrace, and had food ordered. They have drinks and small plates options but everything tasted ok, nothing wonderful though. Really nice view of Manhattan
I am so pissed off about this place and manager . They are rude disrespectful and arrogant stuff. Manager came to me with waitress asking me card for charge non stop . Moreover we ordered wine and sparkling water where they didn’t asked if we needed glass or small or big sparkling water. Waitress brought and just left the big bottle on table without glass. Also table wasn’t served plates were not on the table without glass forks which we did by ourself . I went to talk to manager where he started yelling me that I was not right . I am so pissed and angry that I will sue this place for disrespecting and discrimination . I will suggest nobody show up this arrogant place
Great roof top with amazing Manhattan view. There is a huge balcony with a couple of sofas, so you can get a drink and enjoy the fresh air of East river. Good variety of cocktails. The only thing that we have to keep in mind they close kitchen between 2 pm and 4 pm. So, no food during these hours, however you can order something from raw table like oysters or shrimps. This place is definitely worth visiting!
Amazing breathtaking views but paid $61US for 2 Long Island drinks🤑
Went on Valentine’s Day. Took the tram. The hotel is very cool and the Panorama room is an amazing venue with great views, great service and great food and cocktails. We really enjoyed ourselves. It’s not crazy expensive either.
Gorgeous rooftop bar with awesome views! I love the bridge right there as well! The service was ok… we were served warm champagne (and it was pricey (!), so warm champagne is a no-no…!), which they replaced, but this shouldn’t happen in the first place… it’s highly overpriced but it is indeed worth it! Such a new place! Love the design! Definitely worth a visit!
The view is amazing! The mocktails were good. The food is filling. The tuna and caviar nachos were delicious. The truffle fries were just ok. The service could’ve been a little better. I’d go back.
Nice rooftop lounge to grab cocktails and get a pretty view of NYC! Came here Saturday night with friends—we got a Resy reservation but it wasn’t too crowded when we got there. They have a live DJ and play pretty good music.Drinks were okay—a bit pricey—cocktails start off at $20 a drink and our basic tequila shots were $16 each.Location wise, it’s a bit out of the way if you’re coming from Midtown NYC area.
Service is awful. 2 minutes past our reservation because there is no effective elevator management, only to be met by an extremely rude and unnecessarily sassy maitre d. Told us, that even though we confirmed over text, that because we were late we could go stand by the bar. Also told us that the line doesnt take 20 min, so she can go have a conversation with the folks running the line with the elevator. So feel free to go if you bake in an extra 20 min just to deal with pretentious staff.
So far this is my favorite rooftop in NYC! Been here 3 times and will definitely go back! My favorite cocktail on the picture. Don’t remember name. Something with a gin 🍸 Amazing view of Manhattan and Queens. Nice atmosphere. Not that loud like in many other rooftops.
The skyline view was beautiful and definitely worth experiencing at least once. However, the place is a typical tourist trap. The drinks and food were basic at best. They charge an automatic gratuity, likely because the bartenders and service are subpar. Better service would have significantly enhanced the experience.
Cocktails were pricey as expected, some of them not the best. The frozen rosé is tasty though! Bartenders were friendly. The view is incredible, make sure you have reservations
Great views of NYC and amazing location!I had to pick up my drinks from the bar. The drinks took 30 mins to be served but the bill included a mandatory 20% service charge and tip. Cheeky way of extorting a tip!
Cocktails are exceptionally good and view of city is breathtaking ! This has got to be one of the best rooftops in nyc. The food is also very good and service is quick. Perfect place for after work drinks if you’re coming from midtown.
The bar offers a breathtaking views of the city! The music was great and the drinks were definitely flavourful.Best to have a reservation on hand, and the staff is kind enough to accommodate any minor changes to it despite of having a charge policy. Will definitely be back for the daytime experience!
The food has gradually improved over the years. Try the beef rib crostini or the wagyu beef. Excellent! Also the lobster rolls. Great cocktail menu, and, of course, the view cant be beat.
Hidden gem. the environment feels like an escape from the hustle of the city and spending hours here is not only easy to do but supported by the wait staff. this place has killer views, fun interior decor and generous appetizer portions. highly recommend the pork belly!take the tram between 59/60th in manhattan to get here and it feels like a weekend getaway.
Came here in the winter, so it was cold but view was amazing!Had a mocktail (Salted Lime) since I cannot have alcohol at the moment and it was great. The staff is super friendly and quick to service. My only complaint is that it can get a little crowded.
Nice location, good food but I didn’t like the cocktails a lot
Did you know this island use to be Hog Island! One of the many reasons why the cocktails at Panorama have pigs drowning in them 🐮!
Lets start with the Pros, great NYC skyline views, hotel and rooftop esthetics are spectacular and drinks are tasty. Now for the Cons, kitchen closes at 230p and reopens at 4pm for dinner. French Toast consistency was incredibly mushy. Our wait staff consistently almost obsessively cleared our table before we could finish our food. We counted 6x within 45 mins. I did not her observe her do this to other tables. Lastly, they only print out bill upon request and do not provide a final copy of bills confirming payment. Given the above I am disappointed in the overall experience but Ill give them another shot.
The view is amazing, but the drinks are nothing spectacular and still expensive.Worst Espresso martini I’ve had.
Amazing view! The drink I ordered was okay! I would give them another try!Update: I tried a few other drinks and one of them had edible glitter in it. I forgot the name but it was a good one! Taylor was amazing. But be careful some bartender might give you someone elses credit card instead of yours and the management will act as if it was not their fault. And wont even apologize for the inconvenience!
Very classy rooftop with a stunning view of the city! Located in the middle of the east river on the Roosevelt Island Graduate hotel, its outdoor terrace provides the feeling of almost being able to touch Manhattan. Good cocktails and tasty food bites.
My partner and I were really looking forward to visiting this rooftop bar. The idea of seeing NYC at night sounded breathtaking. As the establishment stated, we made a reservation and adhered to the dress code. When we arrived at the hotel on time, we waited in line for 15 minutes before we were allowed in the elevator to the rooftop bar. When we arrived at the hostess’ desk, we were informed the outdoor patio table we had reserved would not be ready for another 30 minutes so we waited at the bar. The city view from the bar was great. However, the service was lacking. A story that held true all night. Then, 30 minutes after we sat at the bar, we received a text our patio table was ready. After we were seated, it took another 30 minutes for us to get our drinks. After that, did not see our server for the next 20 minutes while we finished our drinks and concluded our server was the only member serving the entire outdoor patio. The service was abysmal and was incredibly expensive for slow & poorly made drinks. The view is truly incredible, but the service was so incredibly bad, it stole the experience away.
Portions are average size. And view is amazing
I got the mock-tails and let me tell you!!!!! They were sexy and powerful without the alcohol!! The waffle truffle fries with aioli sauce was super good! See my pictures attached! The atmosphere is really hip and the view is spectacular!! This is definitely a first date worthy or a girls night out!
Fantastic cocktails, great atmosphere, very limited food menu but excellent non the less. Service was quick and efficient, 20% gratuity is automatically included on your check.
The drinks plus the view , top notch i must say..the ambience such a vibe
I celebrated my birthday here in March and received the best attention from Samuel right from the reservation process. My friends from Chicago absolutely loved it. The breathtaking views, amazing appetizers, and incredible drinks made the experience unforgettable. I brought a cake, and they kindly offered to refrigerate it until midnight. The ambiance is spectacular. Highly recommend.
Very nice hotel rooftop bar, great views of the city and Brooklyn. Nice cocktail program.
Oof, my suggestion is try somewhere else. The food was ok, once they got it right. Two friends in my party ordered medium rare steak and got meat with zero pink in it. We had to send it back. Also they were completely out of fries at 6pm on a Saturday night? Seems odd they wouldn’t have one of their most popular menu items so early in the evening.Drinks were good but the table service was so slow we had to flag our server down every time we wanted to order something. In our 90-minute table limit, we were only able to order 2 rounds of drinks. You’re definitely paying for the view, so prices are 30%+ higher than they should be for the quality you’re getting. They automatically add 20% gratuity to every bill because they definitely wouldn’t get it otherwise. The DJ was the silver lining, though. Excellent vibes. My advice? There are better rooftop options elsewhere.
The Panorama room is a gem for tourists and new yorkers alike. The views from the bar and terrace are marvelous. The food and drink prices are on the high end as expected but you will not regret it. The menu is short and focused yet there are several vegetarian options on the menu. Make sure to make a reservation and bring something warm to wear if you plan to be on the terrace. When your are done partying you can always walk off your cocktail along the wonderful Roosevelt island water front.
The place is amazing no doubt with great views of the New York city skyline, East River, Roosevelt Island and the Brooklyn skyline as well. The reason for the 2 star review is that when I ordered the drinks, the bartender automatically selected the 18% tip option by default and there’s the option to add more tip (+2, 5, 8%). I have never encountered that before. I realized what happened afterwards since I thought I was only tipping 5 or 8% which seemed low but then when I found out, that was sketchy and deceptive as hell!If you provide good service, customers will tip you well but getting tips through deceptive means was extremely sus. The drinks are already quite overpriced considering the location but I did not expect to be deceived into tipping the restaurant.I would recommend everyone to watch out when paying.
I would call this place as a view point. This is only good for enjoying the views and taking pictures. Food choices are very poor. The food whatever they have is not at all good.
We got stuck in a loop between employees who didn’t know what the other was doing. The people in the front kept sending us back to the elevators but every time we went up we couldn’t get off because we didn’t know that there was supposed to be a security person back there with a key card on the elevator. The atmosphere was nice and the view was really greatDon’t go to the roof hungry though. They have food but none of it appealed to us.Interesting cocktails menu though.
WORST SERVICE EVER!!! We had a reservation at 5:00 pm and we didnt got the table until almost 5:45 pm. Then, they took forever to take our order, then the truffles fries tastes nothing like truffles just regular fries. Then, they didnt bring us napkins and plates, we had to ask fot them. The only reason that I would like to return is for the view. Drinks are ok. If u wanna come here for a couple drinks, do it at the bar.
Roosevelt Island in general is a MUST-visit. This rooftop bar was so stunning & provided gorgeous skyline views. The drinks were all great and the ambiance was fun! Fairly fancy. The only downside was that the staff was a little stand-offish. Overall worth a visit!
Super cute, chill, beautiful and quiet... Great price, typical NYC prices. Unfortunately, didnt get to eat. Very nice place for taking pics, artsy, nicely done.
*I believe reservations are required, FYI.* I’m thrilled to have this lounge on Roosevelt Island. It’s definitely the nicest place to go on the island, by far. The views are gorgeous and the decor is lucious. There is an outdoor patio to chill out on and enjoy the view, and floor to ceiling windows from inside. My only complaint is hopefully temporary - the food menu is very limited, and currently even smaller than what they plan to offer in the future. They didn’t tell us what wasn’t available, so be sure to ask!
I would like to give an honest and accurate review.I will start with the positive and everything else can be fixed positive criticism.Atmosphere was really nice.View 10 out of 10.Bear staff really good.Im afraid thats where it ends.We had a table booked and there was no hostess when we arrived.Walked in and found someone to help us.Our table wasnt ready no problem they said we would get a text message when the table would be ready which I thought was good.Got a text message closed out my bill at the bar went up to meet the hostess.Again no hostess.Waiting for about 10 minutes and found somebody.Once we got to the table the service was extremely bad.First the food was really bad.I mean really bad. They forgot to bring our oysters.Again these were really bad too.I think the girl was kind of on her own and all over the place and didnt have backup...They didnt have Sauvignon Blanc white wine. Fist please in the world I have been that dont have this wine. Not a problem..But with the right organization the right menu the right cheff. This place could be amazing it has so much potential.View very special drinks good.I say all this as kind words on helping you to improve. As I own bars and night clubs in Europe.Still work coming for the view.Have a few cocktails highly do not recommend the food. But if they got a new chef and change the menu it could be something special.Kind RegardsHoward.
Amazing bar with great views. Would recommend booking in advance as there was a long line before the bar even opened at 5pm.
Great place to catch the sunset, very low key. Drinks are pricey but thats everywhere for a place like this. Its located inside the graduate hotel. Take the tram on 59th street to get there!
This place is a great place for drinks with a beautiful view. But if you’re hungry don’t come here. The food isn’t good and they have a weird thing where they close the kitchen between 2:15 and 4, but you can still make a reservation to eat there. Service is good tho.
Beautiful scenery. If you visit the Rosevelt island please come here. Great place after dinner. You can collect the view of day time and night time.
Food, service and especially the view are excellent. The whole front of the bar opens up in good weather with views down the east river.
One of the best views of the Manhattan skyline.
Amazing view, good music, really good atmosphere and the drinks are great. There are very limited options on the food menu, but it is a great place to hang out, and if you enjoy a great view, then this should no doubt be added to your list.
The location is no doubt awesome and the views are amazing but there drinks were not good, we tried a few and none of them were good, definitely not worth the price they are charging. The apps we tried were ok nothing great here except the view. Will give them another try on my next visit.
Went to the Panorama room last weekend, had a reservation for 2 people they put us in the corner right where the waitress stand was, there was no view whatsoever. We tried to order some of the food dishes but they were out, we weren’t getting paid attention to drinks were expensive and we had to flag down every other waitress but our own. The drink prices here are a bit expensive, you are just paying for the view. Truffle fries were good, this seems to be more of a touristy spot as it is in a hotel.
I would recommend this place if you intend to splurge for a nice view of the city and a bougie atmosphere. The glasses the cocktails are served in are pretty small and without taxes you already pay 20 dollars at least. We booked in advance but werent guaranteed a table, so come before eight p.m. if you want to be sure of a barstool outside. Overall, we wouldnt do this again but it was nice for our last evening. Weve had better experiences in rooftopbars elsewhere in town (e.g. Margaritaville).
Beautiful views of Manhattan. Drinks were a bit pricey. Difficult to find parking - valet was $50.
A hidden gem! Obsessed with the vibe here. Great cocktails, small plates and even better crowd/ambiance. They have a DJ at night and it’s a must-attend with friends or if you’re prepared to take the Tram for night out on the Island.
Great food and view.Worth going just for a drink and the view. Cocktails are unique and very tasteful.Would also recommend the truffle fries which are made a bit different and done just right.
One of the best rooftops in the city and offers a great view from the east riverside. Great place to spend the evening. Could be a little crowded during evening with lack of seats if not reserved in advance. Not much variety on the food options and are also expensive.
Stunning view but very mediocre cocktails. Worth a trip to see the island, but not a gem 💎
Just a disclaimer for anyone else that makes a reservation… If you book “Patio” (like I did) you do not actually get any table and have to serve yourself at the bar and fend for yourself to get a spot outside with the view. Fair enough that there’s no reservations on the patio but then don’t make it an option online 🤷🏼♀️ It’s a fantastic view but had to wait 45 minutes to actually sit at the bar ledge (we went at sunset) and slightly ruined my experience not actually having a reserved table when I booked a week in advance.
One of the best rooftops ! You paid it but you enjoy it at every drop….
Astonishing view to Manhattan from this place. You can enjoy cocktails and finger food. Strongly recommend it 👌
Loved it!! The view says it all. The cocktails and food are fantastic!! Wonderful to add to our girls weekend in NYC!!
Experience and atmosphere was great. Drinks are pricey but good. Food not so good. Very greasy, a lot of breading, not much flavor. Had the broccoli tempura and Japanese skewers. I would return and try something different.
Beautiful views of the East River. Great atmosphere. Must be 21 or older to enter.
A great bar with breathtaking views at night of Roosevelt Island and Manhattan. You truly can’t ask for more.
Very expensive drinks but they were good and you can’t beat that view! Will come back soon! 5 STARS
Nice views of the city….. 🤔Ohhhhhh that’s why the call it the panorama room.
The view is amazing, its the spot to be when the sun is going down. However very slow service.
Pricey, but expected with the view. Bar seemed understaffed. View was great, will return.
The food was meh. The fries were amazing, and i mean the regular fries not the truffle. The lobster roll was Maine style but seemed like theyd made a batch and stored it like potato salad. Not the best. But drinks was popping view was lit.
Trying to get a table for July 4th. Made a confirmed reservation however the details of whether the reservation secured a table or not is unclear. It just said $25 entry fee. I would isually take this at face value but why are reservations being accepted just for that? Ive called them twice with no answer each time. This place looks very upscale so it surprises me that no one answers the phone. That usually only takes place with low class businesses. Ill change my rating if I recieve a text or call back.
Worth the trip to Roosevelt Island. Views are absolutely spectacular and drinks were good. Try and take the cable car around sunset time.
Probably a better roof top bar then one in Manhattan because actually has a view of Manhattan. Not as crowded.
My nephew, niece and I had brunch at the Panorama Room this past Saturday and it was delicious! We were greeted by Betsy, who was friendly, welcoming and professional. Our server Demi was fabulous - efficient, friendly and didnt hover but was always right there if we needed anything! We ordered the bagel/lox dip, quiche, avocado toast, and sticky bun for dessert along with a bunch of drinks (Panoloma, Happiness is, Duality) which were also delicious. You cant beat the ambiance and views! Highly recommend! Easily accessible by the Tram or East River Ferry.
Lowkey one if the best rooftop bars i’ve ever been in the city, the experience and vibes here are so immaculate. The view is something to die for for sure, i’d also really recommend their drinks absolutely flawless with a kick of flavor. I got a virgin drink but either way the drink have me a little boost. The bartenders are overall really nice and chill, and know their way around a drink hut i did face one that didn’t know how to make a strong spicy virgin drink but other than that absolutely would recommend coming here
The bar is in a wonderful location with great views of Brooklyn and Manhattan. Sadly the service there is quite poor, I ended up leaving without having a drink after spending 20 minutes waiting for service.
The food menu needs improvement. The view is beautiful, but the drinks are overpriced. They have vallet parking, but they charge $50.
Spectular views, not-so spectular service. I really wanted to fall in love with this place but there were just so many minor issues. i dont think its reason enough to NOT come, the views are world class, but our experience was as follows:- had to wait for open table despite our reservation- hostess gave us a 1 hour max for our table despite the reservation (we got a medium sized table for just the two of us, so i get that they want to prioritize large groups, but they didnt even give us a choice. bad operations here. luckily the timing worked out for us)- no one came to take our order till i walked to a bartender who was nice enough to come over- the music indoors is waaaay too loud to have conversation without shouting. forget group convos, youre going to have to yell in your friends ear- i could have sworn they just put tap water into the oysters to substitute for oyster juice, it did not taste like anythingother than these, the food was pretty good with big portions. cocktails were ok. i would come back again only to stay outdoors and grab a couple drinks and maybe the fries.
I was really hoping for this place to pull through.First, the hostess was incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful with placing a few strollers we had neatly away. However the waitress we had seemed like she just didn’t want to be there and was kinda rude the entire time.Food was forgettable and uninspired. The drink was $17 and came in a tiny glass.Come for a drink at the bar and the views (the views over a drink can somewhat justify the cost of the drink). But don’t recommend for a brunch.Sorry you guys - but hope you can make changes for the new year!
This is a great rooftop in NY. Great view and service. BUT the food is very bad. The chef is trying to do some experiments with fancy ingredients and they are very bad. You are going to lose a lot of customers because of it. The price of the food is very expensive. Change the chef. Do some menu engineering and get better food more options and you will get your clients back. I’m telling you as a food and beverages manager for Hilton worldwide. Free coaching at not charge. You’re welcome
This place is a fantastic rooftop bar! 🥂 Panorama Room on Roosevelt Island 🏝️ offers an amazing view 🪟 of the city! 🏙️ They have an impressive selection of cocktails 🍹 and seafood! 🦞 Ambience 🎶 is great, the space is beautifully decorated 🛋️, and the staff is friendly! I wish I came here more often!
Beautiful views, friendly staff and clean.
The atmosphere was awesome. Good music with great views. We were sat at a table and told a server would be by shortly. 30 minutes later, no one showed up. I went to the bar to get help and was spoken to very rudely by the bartender stating someone would be by to help me. I nicely mentioned that no one had been by in 30 minutes and she rolled her eyes and just walked off. 5 minutes later she came back and was rude asking what I was still waiting for. Also, they auto include 20% gratuity when they didn’t do anything to earn it. The hotel staff downstairs were just as rude as the bartender.Long story short, very sad that such a nice and vibey establishment has such horrible service.
This is one of the very unique rooftops in NYC. It has great views of the Queensboro bridge. The old fashioned is 10/10 and is a must try. Perfect date place. The DJ was super amazing as well.
Great views, food and drink, and service. If you go to Roosevelt Island need to get to the Panorama rooftop bar
First time came to Rosevelt Island! Nice view with nice drink! Will come back again! 🍹
The view at night is SPECTACULAR. The music is very loud, but the outside balcony is quieter and has sweeping views of the East River and Manhattan.
It was a great experience, lively music, amazing ambiance, and spectacular view
The views here are awesome! The food and drinks were pretty good but a bit on the pricey side. It’s a good place to take people visiting from out of town.
From the entrance of the hotel lobby, the elevator, the decoration and the atmosphere are very pleasant, good cocktail menu however they must improve the service, few waiters and they take too long
Beautiful place at night my husband and I went before 4th of July not many people drinks are $50 but its worth it very strong we didnt have a chance to eat because the kitchen close at 9.30pm so it was late this its 10/10
Breathtaking. Music is fun, its more low-key for dancing, but we appreciated our little spot and we had a lot of fun. Drinks are strong.
An amazing place with amazing views, drinks and service! Its just next to the sky tram station of Roosevelt island. I totally suggest it!
Only downside was the cost of the beverages but youre paying for the view which was awesome. So glad RI has this as an option.
Incredible views, nice staff and great atmosphere.Very romantic. Highly recommended.
It was my first time here, and now its my favorite place to be.The view and the atmosphere is wawooo. The DJ man, that guy is the man for the place .
Beautiful views, great food, the birria tacos was bomb. Atmosphere and vibe was fantastic
Beautiful place. We went to see the island and when we got off the cable car, walking a little you got to know this place. The view is incredible, the atmosphere and the music are very good, which made us have a great time. The only thing to consider is that they have very little variety of beers.
We visited Panorama room on Saturday prior to dinner - the views over Manhattan are spectacular - the location of the bar is on Roosevelt Island which give you a really good vantage point. The food and drinks were fabulous (highly recommend the truffle fries) but drinks are on the pricey side of 19/20$ each. However, the service was dreadful due to one server trying to help about 20 people at once so drinks were slow to arrive. The atmosphere upon entry was great, but this changed at around 7pm where it turned into a nightclub with awful music so loud you can’t have a conversation. This bar could be exceptional but I feel like it doesn’t know what it wants to be - a bar or a nightclub. The music did not match or suit other people in the venue and you could see people actively leaving considering it was a majority of over 25s. I think Panorama room needs to work out what venue it’s trying to be and understanding their guests as sadly we were put off by a nightclub atmosphere at 7pm.I would also add that 20% gratuity is included within your bill which is great, but when paying - there is an option to add further gratuity which I think is a little naughty and misleading considering this is already covered within the bill. It feels very greedy in hope of catching someone to pay 40% on top of their bill which is a little gross.
Great views and cocktails
Good birthday package. Beautiful views. Good appetizer and drinks. Pricey but nice for a celebration.Lobster rolls were okay, not mind blowing. The chicken was tasty along with everything else.
Modern and super fun place where you can have a drink with friends.Music super cool.Food is good.Be patient to get a parking spot or pay for valet .Super fun night!!!
Great views but that is overshadowed by slow service and high prices. They only had one beer on tap. And watch out because they add an automatic 20% gratuity and then the device suggests more.
Service was horrendous. Staff more interested in chatting with each other than serving guests. Ordered two cocktails that never came, no staff in sight to chase them down. No one came to check on us for over an hour. For the amount you’re paying, I’d expect at least half-decent service. Also the chairs are so uncomfortable, and the tables completely impractical to eat on. Wouldn’t go back. View was nice, but could probably find somewhere better.
Good music, decent food and cocktails. Beautiful view and not hard to find a place at the bar for walk-ins
Had delish cocktails (thanks, bartender David), the best truffle waffle fries and an amazing view of the Empire and Chrysler Buildings sitting at the bar. The tip was included in the total amount. Panorama is one of the best rooftop bars in the city. It feels like a Himalayan salt lamp that changes colors. It felt fancy without it being snobby. Take the tram to get there for the full Manhattan skyline experience!
The views are unbeatable! Good drinks, I liked the paloma. Food was good too and the portion sizes were surprisingly big.
I was expecting a bit more from my experience at Panorama. Pros the view is definitely a vibe, wherever you are seated you have a great view. You can walk outside and take pictures, enjoy a drink sit and relax. I enjoyed the Rose all day. My friend and I both had the chicken and waffles which was good. The waitress gave us a good tip that the avocado toast isnt actually avocado. Which should probably be worded different on the menu as its misleading.Cons- the service was lacking. No water was served, she forgot to put in a drink order and seems a bit all over the place.
What a shame. If only the management was as good as the views... Unfortunately, they are rude and inconsiderate. Cocktail & drink menu is bleh... For such a beautiful location, they should really hire some talent to run the place, it truly has so much potential.
Panorama should be a 5 star review because of the views alone. You just simply wont find a better view of NYC, especially at night. The interior is amazing as well. Drinks are also great with only a few hitting the $30 mark. Some surprisingly near $15. I had an assortment of dishes before the kitchen closed, all were good except the shrimp cocktail was very overpriced for market value. The avocado toast is a+++ as were the plantain caviar nachos. Where the stars vanish is from service and hospitality. There were only 2 members of staff who were warm and welcoming, a bouncer and the busboy. Our waitress just did not care about us at all, even though we had a large order and had plans to buy many drinks. We had to hunt her down and she was always ambivalent. Literally said do you need a receipt and then walked away. No smile, no thank you and no come again. That came from the bouncer. Maybe other members of the team are better trained on hospitality, but I didnt experience it. I would still recommend, the view is just so magnificent as is the space.
Dont come here. Its so cool and I want to save it for myself. Highly recommend, especially on slower nights. The view is amazing and the loungey atmosphere and cool lighting makes you want to stay awhile. Skip the cocktail list and just order regular mixed drinks.
It took 40mins to get a drink. Great view, but severely understaffed place
Beautiful after work spot... Beautiful views, vibes, music and food... Will definitely go back!!
Panorama room is only for the fantastic views. The drinks are hit or miss & the service is quite slow.
Great view of the city and a very chill rooftop. Make sure you catch a sunset here! The food is great and the cocktail menu also very delicious.
Nice place located on Roosevelt Island, has a beautiful view, variety of drinks and delicious small plates. Unfortunately, the service was not as good as we expected.
I honestly put 2 stars for the view. The view is breathtaking. Unfortunately the service is very bad. The bar was not busy but yet the bartenders seemed very busy. Every time we tried to order drinks or food they were too busy and we didn’t get drinks or food ordered until 15-20 minutes later. If you are going for pictures and the view it will be with the visit but if you are looking for good service as well you should try somewhere else. The truffle fries are great. Maybe try table service I sat at the bar.
We visited at night and the views were spectacular ✨️ 👌
Such a fun place to get drinks! We went at night and the skyline was beautiful. We made reservations but still had to wait a while before they sat us. Cocktails are normal NYC pricey. Great place to take photos! DJ was pretty loud so be prepared to talk loudly.
Been here a few times already. Have tried most of their cocktails and they are all good. I love a cocktail with mezcal and they have a few. They are a bit pricey but this place is so pretty it’s worth it. Caviar nachos were delicious. I was not expecting them to be served with plantain chips rather than tortilla chips (that detail was not described on the menu). Food menu is not extensive but works for like to have some drinks. Place is pretty, nice for like to get dressed up, but can also be smart casual. Views are so far my favorite of all rooftops I’ve been to in the city, so my partner and I like to bring guests from out of town here. Will definitely be back.Update: last time I went, the caviar nachos didn’t really have caviar. I politely asked the waitress if they were no longer going to include caviar (my picture has the bigger eggs in it but last time I went it was only the tiny ones that are not really caviar) and she didn’t know what I was talking about and was unwilling to ask anybody in the kitchen. This was a bit disappointing, but hopefully it was just a one time thing.
Best place to hangout, no cover charges. Great drinks ,truffle fries are awesome. Spectacular view of manhattan skyline.
Amazing views of the city. Take the Tram across and take in the city from the top floor. Manager was very pleasant and don’t forget your ID to get in.
I didnt eat here, but had a few drinks that were pretty good. You definitely come here for the view - probably one of the best views of NYC Ive experienced. Theres a large balcony where youre free to roam and take photos. Take the tram instead of the subway if you can - it was a nice treat.
Beautiful view of the city. Nice date location.
Had: Shrimp cocktails
I have been wanting to come here for some time and I had a nice experience!!My only comment is, I’m not sure if they were short staffed, but the hostess was also taking drink and food orders. We were only checked in on every 20 ish mins and it was hard to wave someone down. The drinks weren’t my favorite, as they were so expensive and they didn’t taste as such. But it is a great experience to come with someone. They have a patio outside you can watch or take pics on.Be mindful you only get 90 mins for your reservation!
Good food along with the amazing views. One dish that stuck out was the lobster roll which tasted amazing! I had some wine and tried a cocktail which was good too. Only thing is that the service was super slow and there is a time limit on the reservation. We eventually had to vacate the table and couldn’t order more entrees. Regardless of that, I would still recommend you check this place out!
Breathtaking view of the Manhattan and Long Island City skyline! Unique and delicious snack food and drinks. Bewutiful admosphere and great music at perfect volume. Friendly staff. The bar area is always available, with seating that is not guaranteed, but to get a table a reservation is almost mandatory. Would love to have my birthday or special occasion hangout here! Cant wait to come back!
Beautiful setting with amazing views of East Manhattan. Poor and slow service (especially an unfriendly barman spoiled the experience)
One of the most amazing rooftop bars of the city with probably the best views
Great place, nice drinks and beautiful view of midtown manhattan.
They charge tip by their self, they don’t ask once…. Charged my card 2 times I don’t understand why ..wouldn’t go there
Cocktails and wine are really good. Food is mediocre. Just go for the drinks and amazing view and you won’t be disappointed
This place was such a fun experience! We took the sky tram over and only a had a few minute walk to this rooftop bar. We didn’t have reservations so we sat at the bar for a few drinks before going outside. If you get a chance to go here, ask for the bartender Amanda and she will definitely take care of you. The drinks were amazing and she knew a lot about bourbon. Definitely would recommend this place because the views are priceless. If you ask me, I think the bar is better than the table seating but that’s just my opinion.
I couldnt quite put my finger on it. Maybe it was the random music, the fact that at one point they only had two bar staff on on a Friday night, the poor selection of bars juxtaposd against great views and a beautiful bar but something just didnt work for me. Give it a go if youre in the area but Ive been to better.
Really fun rooftop lounge with amazing views of the east river and amazing cocktails.
Incredible views. A must go place if visiting to see the sunset or skyline
Ridiculously good views of Manhattan and very easy to reserve a table in advance. Drinks were expensive, but understandable as youre paying for the view which youd struggle to get elsewhere. Didnt receive table service, however, which youd expect in a place like this.
This spot has some excellent views of the city & is a big favorite. I always bring people here who are visiting from out of state and each one has been impressed. I get truffle fries everywhere they are available & these fries always stick out in my memory.
Sadly we wanted to visit in the middle of the afternoon with our baby but we weren’t allowed. Of course the baby won’t drink so asking to be over 21yo for daytime visits is stupid.
Slowest place ever. We had a reservation for drinks at a table. The security guard downstairs was so slow and acting like he hated his job. We had to wait several minuets for the host to come. We waited over 15 minuets for a server at our table, we had to chase someone down to be helped. No one came to us. Getting a second drink was even harder and we gave up and went home after that. It wasnt even crowded there were empty tables. There is no mention on the website or resy that tip was included. This is not fair there is no way she deserved 20%. She didnt even take our second order we had to chase down someone else. No one asked how we were doing or if we needed anything. The vide of this place has gone down. Everything looks so worn as if its been here for 10 yrs. There is no dress code even the waitress was wearing leggings. The chair couches are extremely uncomfortable. Not a place that should be selling $20 drinks.
Well i love rooftops this one is inside Graduate hotel ,it is just beautiful 😻 we where celebrating a bday. Well i have to complain that their menu options and the food uhh need to be changed A S A Pi never understood the point of have this very luxury looking venue and no good food …drinks were good and expensive and small but hey we’re downtown 😣is expected but i was so hungry i wasn’t paying $24 dollars for French fries 🍟 and no parking only vallet$50 for 4 hours
Excellent view during the day. I was wondering how it may be during the night. Perfect for good pictures and a fancy cocktail. Just be prepared to spend a good amount of money. But it doesn’t mean it’s not good. It’s excellent.
No coffee at brunch? Figure it out and borrow a machine from downstairs or something. Entrees came out sporadically before the appetizers. Ultra hip seating was not especially comfortable. The view is truly amazing though. Wont be back anytime soon.
Brought my PARENTS visiting from abroad on their last night here and the security in front didn’t accept photos of their IDs. I get policy, but that’s just plain unreasonable. Don’t go here if you don’t have your PHYSICAL ID.Better put a robot in front if the person is just an ID scanner - super rude.
We went for cocktails and the view. Walk in accepted for drinks only, but you will want to arrive for it opening as it gets busy quickly even on a cold evening. Gratuity is automatically added which is to be expected for somewhere like this (Service was good). Although we didnt get food we did we see some others getting the Truffle waffle which looked huge and very tasty.
We booked a spot a week ahead,A table where we’d break some bread. But when we came to claim our place,The hostess met us with disgrace.“Two menus for you, but here’s the deal,First-come, first-served, it’s bar appeal.”Standing room only, no chairs to spare,Our reservation? Thin as air.No help she offered, no care, no grace,No effort to solve or save her face.Hospitality? Nowhere in sight,Just left us stranded on that night. So heed this tale, beware the call,This place might not reserve at all.
We went on a weekday and it was not too busy. The place has a wonderful and chill ambiance with comfortable seating and a gorgeous view. Service was amazing and its def a spot u have to check out if u want an amazing rooftop experience in Nyc without the busy noises of the city.
Just got drinks for a reasonable price and a great view
Jerk security turned us (island residents) away because my GF only had a photo of her ID. We called our family that was already upstairs at the bar and went up the street to Granny Annies. had a great time there as usual.
Beautiful views, friendly bartenders and amazing drinks really make this a must-go when visiting Roosevelt Island
