What an amazing experience at the Broadway & Bond location! They have such a great staff - here’s someone you should always ask for: Fifi. Fifi is a ball of energy and is always looking for a reason to put a smile on your face. I’ve been going to this location for a few years and have built a relationship with the team here. Everyone is great & friendly! One person in particular, Joel - I’ve known him for years from another Starbucks in Midtown. If you ask for Chris or Justin > they are just as great!!! This photo was taken of Fifi on Halloween when I did my daily visit to the store. They treat me like family here and make an effort to get to know me! I am extremely thankful for their generosity and hope this motivates you to visit and ask for them and commend them for their hard work!!!
The best one Ive been to, with a lot of people, they managed to get a perfect coffee. They also gave you water if you needed it without having to ask for it, and the music was spectacular. Very grateful for the service.
Large location, but seems to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. Theres a Joe and the Juice a block away. A Gregorys right next door, and a bodega 50 ft away that is much better, cheaper, and faster. If you want hot food, it Taha a while, even if the store is empty. The whole experience is meh
The team of employees at this location are so kind and hard working. For a high traffic Starbucks, it’s also always clean and spotless. Only good things to say.My most recent visit was especially touching — to see how generous and nice they were with an individual who really needed food, water and a safe place to sit down.It speaks volumes about a teams character when they’re genuine to everyone who comes into this space. Especially in NYC on a weekend! I hope this location is recognized by the company!

I’ve encountered Horrible customer service today 11. 14. 24I asked politely for a hot water. The refused saying “ it’s a new policy. We don’t give hot water away , we can give you cold water. “ when I asked what’s the actual reason.They said that the other day, one of the customers threw away hot water at themWhich makes me think..EVERY COFFE SHOP MAKE DRINKS WITH BASE OF HOT LIQUIDS.If someone wanted to throw away drink at you, they will. It can be hot coffee, hot tea etc.it’s just seems to me that it was a discrimination.And if it’s the truth about the policy. Where is it written ?

What a service! With a 50% off drinks on Wednesday these days, I understand staffs can be overwhelming. But not this specific place. I am shook by the service they are providing to all customers specially the guy who is giving out the orders. Their enthusiasm and energy can’t match anywherelse! So thank you to all the staffs for their amazing services. They all deserved a raise.

Quite a cozy place to work or study, plenty of plugs and not very crowded. Stuff is very friendly. However, the worst bathroom I’ve ever been to. Smell in the bathroom is so bad you can faint. Also, bathroom has graffiti on walls, doors, mirror and even trash bin, that is not properly cleaned.
Decent products, expensive like every other Starbucks, however this location is always packed. Lots of places to sit, lounge and work. Cool signs, maps and decor.This Starbucks also has the only two public restrooms in like a half mile radius. Bathrooms smell slightly gross, but are well stocked. Kudos for them making the restrooms gender neutral and handicapped accessible!

Store says across multiple platforms opens at 6 am. Was there at 7 am and the doors were locked with workers inside trying to ignore us.
Although good seating available, the restrooms were closed for unknown time. Surprisingly not very busy during lunch hours. Close to Soho shopping, among many other coffee shops in area.

Poor service and very rude staff. Today, 50 minutes after closing, the bathrooms were closed for no reason. When I went to ask they told me they would reopen them only after 20 minutes... clearly a lie!!! In the end they kicked us out of the club in such a rude way and with very aggressive communication methods full of insults!!! I definitely wont set foot in Starbucks again... congratulations to the manager he should be fired!!!!
You should sit and really watch how these people operate here, so when you order something, they ask for a name, then when the order comes, they normally call the names of the order!!! I noticed that when the fair skinned person orders, they take their name(big smiles).....call their names also when the order is ready.... but if their own black people or brown people walk in, they do not take their name or call it...they just rest it on the shelves, now i dont know if this is a norm or just happened while i sat there.....if u asked me......Starbucks becoming a union was a bit ambiguous, lazy worker attitude, cashier not friendly to customers, looks upset.....to top that off.....Starbucks corporate still begging like stray dogs for tips......pay your workers and stop this begging mentality!!! When I work....I do not beg the customer for a tip!!! You know why.....its not ethical, thats why!!! You are union now.....this begging option needs to stop!!!!!! I asked for light ice with a vanilla sweet cream cold brew. The worker told me that because I asked for lite ice they would not be filling my cup all the way, and pointed to one of three black lines on the side of the cup, citing new corporate policy.In every other location Ive been to Ive never had a problem or heard of this, so I wrote to the contact us/customer feedback asking them about this policy. Well surprise, there is no policy. While unfortunately I believe there was a language barrier with Kasapogo A., they clarified no changes to their ice policy.So what was the point of lying and not wanting to fill the cup all the way? Less work for you? Some bonus at the end of the quarter? I wish you would have actually been wearing a name tag with a name clearly written on it and not faded and wiped off; early 30s short white female wearing a black beanie on a 70 degree day.
This is the only Starbucks close to me that is open at 6 am, so I sometimes grab a coffee here on my way to work. You cant imagine how many times I pre-ordered coffee in the app and when I came to the store, they were closed! Im usually here at 6:50 and theyre closed!!! Even though the schedule says they open at 6 am. And already paid for my coffee. Such disrespect to the customers!
Very hostile staff that closes early and shuts down half the services an hour early. They actively throw out all the food a hour before closing with customers in line. They lie about not having things to avoid making it. And act as hostile as possible in the last hour to try and make customers uncomfortable and pressured to leave.

The workers are nice and I am sure they probably followed what they were told is ICED TEA...not ice tea. I paid 5 dollars for cloudy brown water.It was so bad Starbucks would be better off serving instant or better.....OFFER HOT TEA AND A GLASS OF ICE since Starbucks prides itself on freshness.

Terrible caramel ribbon crunch, and the woman working behind the desk was very abrasive - I understand that its near closing, but if youre forgetting parts of orders, messing up basic instructions like no whip cream, and then have the audacity to get angry after I ask for a water, you wont catch me there again. Seriously, if the time constraint is an issue just say youre done for the day. Ive worked at target, I get how tired you are after dealing with customers, but that was an abysmal experience.

Hostile & passive service. Refused to make frozen drinks passed 7:10pm. Wasteful — made 10 ice waters 30 minutes to close then threw them all away.

I liked to go there daily and started for hours working on my books and someone getting a coffee or chocolate but After you visit this location and staff gets to know you and kinda get tired of seeing you there not spending money they turn the air conditioning all the way down. I would give zero if the system allows me to do so. The female barista who offers me cold brew around 11:00 is extremely impolite and unprofessional. I ordered a grande cold brew with no ice and she offered me an iced one. After I asked her to redo it, she sent me a grande size with 1/3 unfilled though I told her that she would add some tape water to make it full. It seemed that she ignored my words on purpose and rudely said that that is the standard volume for grande cold brew, which is obviously ridiculous. I hope that the manager of this particular store would have professional training for the staffs and let them know how to treat each customers politely instead of showing some weird attitudes! This store usually is good and I ordered coffee here each day and now I am super disappointed with it.
Giving this location a one star rating is too gracious of an evaluation. I went into this location today because I ended up there for my after workout snack; usually I would be at battery park. Regardless, I bought a grande iced, shaken espresso, 2 “Kind” bars and an “Orange defense” for which I asked to be given a cup of ice. The person who identified as a “female” responded that the Starbucks policy is to not give out cups of ice as they are low on the supplies. I then called the customer support and they informed me that depending on the location, the immediate store managers can make determinations as to what supplies can be limited to customers. Here is the bottom line, in this economy, customers who are spending upwards of $30 a day at your store, aren’t the ones you should alienate. I shall find a local coffee shop, and move from an abhorrent mess that Starbucks has turned into post pandemic.
Yeah, so I totally get wanting to go home early, but if you close at 9 (according to Starbucks) dont lie to your customers and say youre closing at 8:30. It was 8:28, we had been waiting in line for 5 minutes, and some dude comes out yelling at us saying we have to leave because theyre closed. No you werent closed, you were just lazy and wanted to leave work early.
I walked almost fifteen minutes to buy a Frappuccino to be told they are no longer making Frappuccinos because it was 8:30!!! The store closes at 9 not 8:30. I would understand it more if it was 5/10 mins before closing but half an hour before?? They should be selling anything. Although Im not surprised reading the bad reviews of this location, is there no one to take care of the staff or is the manager also lazy to do the job?

Nice enough team but very slow and unfocused. Had a drink remade and it still wasn’t right. That team spends a lot of time talking and joking during a rush so they seem distracted.
If I could give this location 0 stars I would. The place was filled with dirty tables & chairs. When I sat down I realized the table had been covered with some sort of charcoal residue as it got allover my bag (which caused stains), clothes, hands and items I had purchased to drink. I proceeded to go to the restroom to try and get a paper towel and soap to salvage the stains on my bag but had no success. No soap in the dispenser. But heres the best part; next to the toilet along with used toilet paper and urine everywhere, there was a used tampon soaked with blood and clots on the floor! Brought these concerns to the manager and she replied irritated, weve been busy. Ill have someone clean it. Is this location under staffed or are they not capable of upkeep? Disgusting.
For a quality cup of coffee or tea on the go, Starbucks is the place to be. Small bites and sweets are good quality too. The staff is always hard at work and they keep the place clean. Imagine a world without Starbucks and think about where you would go to get something warm to drink when it rains it snows.
Fast service. Drive thru which is a bonus if youre in a rush, or lazy because its a hot day and you dont like getting out of the air conditioning even for a moment to park your car. Got the new cold foam cold brew coffee which is awesome. Cant give five because Im still ashamed I drop five dollars on a coffee like its nothing.
Yesterday I went to Brodway starbucks. I asked for the toilet password, ordering a drink of course. I explained them that I am pregnant and it was an emergency.They explained me that the toilet was out of order and the only one available was the employee’s toilet which I wasn’t allowed to use. I didn’t expected this reaction, this lack of comprehension and humanity and I am really disappointed. Don’t expect me to go back to any of your shops again.

They were blasting bad pop punk on the speakers full volume. As if anyone but one of the employees actually wanted it. When we asked them to turn it down they did for 5 minutes and instantly turned it back up.
They do not have the correct number of people working the registers vs making the coffees. it was 2-2 when i went, which made everyone crowd around the counter and increased wait time for their beverages. The store itself is medium sized, with most people there the type to hog the seats for the entire day. i would try a different starbucks.

I just entered the Starbucks on Broadway and bond and it was just the best experience. The staff was warm and so engaged with their customers. I was immediately spoken to and asked if I needed more time. They spoke with so much fun and laughter while being so professional. They really made it worth stopping in. Great staff. We need more people like them.

I always go to a Starbucks near me. On Sat 4/15, I bought a coffee, which was pure water. Then, to add insult to injury, the manager I assumed, kept yelling this store is closing, and they shut the lights while we (me and 6 others) were in the store. This was horrible its no way to treat customers, especially after spending 25.00. Perhaps you need to close the doors at 5:45 so that your customers dont have to be rushed to the point of throwing out their food because they are being forced to leave the store.Concerned Customer sc

This Starbucks located at 655 Broadway at Bond is a very pleasant tranquil place to stop for coffee. Unlike other Starbucks locations in New York City, overcrowded, noisy, waiting for a table and sharing a table.Clean and in NYU Territory, this location offers a nice and peaceful high tea experience.One never seem to have to wait for a table to open up, and the bathroom only have a half a dozen waiting instead of the dozen plus waiting.

The place is good, fast and offer restroom to customer. The only thing that I think can be done better is that there are people that don’t buy stuff (homeless) sitting at the seating area sometimes.
Dirty. Dirty. Dirty. The only bathroom was disgusting (it looks like it has not been cleaned in a while) and the rest of the place is quite dirty. The tables have multiple cups left on the table, the floor has papers/litter accumulated and the rest of the place lacks general cleaning. It is not a « busy rush hours » dirty but a « nobody looks after the place » kind of dirty.

Would give 0 stars if possible. The mid morning weekday staff has the worst customer service!! They forgot to give me a butter knife for my bagel with butter so I went to get one. Almost all of the staff ignored me as I asked for help. I yelled “excuse me” 4 times and still got ignored. The person that finally didn’t ignore me walked away after I politely asked. I tried to get the persons 1st names that mistreated me because their name tags were either empty or smeared. I spoke to a manager to report them only to receive another customers receipt. As I contacted customer service one of the staff members were ridiculing me and laughing. For the sake of your blood pressure go somewhere else! Starbucks had to reward $10 because of this traumatic ordeal.

Theyre very nice but they dont know the recipes. Ive gone three times to get a venti iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. I worked at Starbucks for six years. The first two times they forgot the syrup and today it looks like a glass of milk in color. The drink is supposed to have four shots of espresso. Go to the one on Astor Place they know what theyre doing over there.

Starbucks sometimes is too slow. I understand long lines but I wish there was less chaos if you order and then are waiting for your drink...its unclear when youre drink will be called which produces anxiety. It would be helpful to see a board with everyonea drinks being currently made. The order of your order....

Warm. One communal table with chairs too high for the table unless you are 5 or shorter. Restrooms closes 1 hr earlier than closing time.

According to Google, this Starbucks was meant to close at 4:30 pm today. It’s 3:55 and I was just turned away at the door. This seems unacceptable and I’m disappointed they did not honor the times as listed publicly that they’d be open.
Good service and the servers super nice. Bathroom should be cleaner though.

I am not sure why Starbucks on Broadway won’t hire a whole new staff . I stood there waiting while seven other customers got their breakfast before I did . I told the young woman “ Mel’s” who took my order I’ve been waiting . Mel’s honesty didn’t seem to care probably more frustrated and overwhelmed responsed I’m making it now . I will never go in that Starbucks again .
I always come here before a writing gig I have to do in the neighborhood at 10 every Tuesday night. Even though its late, theyre always so nice to me and get my order right.

This location isn’t doing the Starbucks brand any favors. The bathroom was abysmal, and with the bathroom code written on a piece of paper taped to the door it was clear they had given up any hope of keeping it clean. At 9:30pm a staff came around and said “we’re closed”, and within 30 seconds the lights were turned off, leaving patrons to pack up their stuff in the dark. Not friendly, not clean, and not trying to be.

Like any other Starbucks Ive been too but interior seems to have been updated which is a bit nicer then most.
I go here every day before work to get my drink and yesterday I went there as usual and I get in to the line like everyone else. I stood there from a little while and no one came to take my order (I guess cleaning comes before customers in this place) and then a guy called “kajun” came up and asked me what I want and I said double espresso please. He started gesturing and giving me bad attitude as if my order was an insult for him. I asked him what’s wrong and he said put your card in there !!! Oh really. I asked him the question again, no response and I told him that he doesn’t know how to make it he can ask for help but can’t blame me ?! He said no one is worried about you. I don’t think this guy deserves to be in that place and I told him that he should watch his mouth if he wants to stay there. The manger came to me and offered me a refund and he told me that he is going to talk to him. I give 3 stars because the store as a whole is fine but that person means mines 2 stars till he leaves and I’ll update. Thanks for reading.
Very spacious. Friendly baristas... bathroom could use some work though.
Cool Staff. Always packed with Tourists and NYU people. The line gets long, but the staff there meets the challenge. The outlets are in the front on the south wall (for you computer folk).

I’ve been coming here to this location a couple of times already and every time is something but today was the worst... I places an order on my app when I picked my coffee the cup was damaged, I let it go and didn’t say anything but when I got my wrap and took the first bite the eggs were still frozen, I went to take my wrap have it warmed up, the guys over did it and the thing came out hard and overdone from the microwave... bad experience! Service and experience should be much better for the price we pay for this coffee smh!
