Another starbucks review Johnny seriously? Yes. In my quest for a 2023 Yelpie, no business, park, street corner, subway line, or entity is safe. I’m coming for everything they said I couldn’t have.This starbucks is right next to my office, and tbh is always a bit lagging for a typical starbucks. I find myself often checking how long I have been in here while waiting for my tall cold brew. Well, grande cold brew this morning if I’m being realy honest.But I feel them, it’s a starbucks in midtown. That has to be like working on an assembly line in the middle of World War II lol.The staff is super nice though and they have cool mugs. Wish I could give 3.5 stars. A lovely coffee and peppermint tea in relaxed luxury setting in a high-end hybrid Starbucks on the 2nd floor of The Empire State Building. Lots of cocktails as well, but a little early!

Love this place, workers here really do their job amazingly, started coming here and not even 4 days went by they alr recognized me and my orders and alr had it making it while I was paying, one of the worker name Chris is super cool guy, he’ll have your drink ready to go

Was disappointed that they couldn’t make a simple order correctly. I ordered a cappuccino and they couldn’t get it right twice. The froth was non-exist and in fact was a foam that tasted like dishwater/dish-soap. If they cannot get a simple cappuccino order correct, I could not expect them to make any of their more complex offerings correctly.The croissant I had was delicious however. Kudos to them for the food and unfortunately not their coffee.

Friendly staff. Pour over blond roast. Music was loud but open space brings in lots of light. Good for working if you don’t mind the music.

Service sucks! Ordered caramel macchiato and got something like dark coffee with whipped cream on top. Returned to the barista to ask about it that’s not what I normally drink and it tastes so much different only to hear that’s it’s all good, without any concern or effort. Worst service ever!The shop is in great location, kinda clean, but this kind of service pushed me away.

Probably the cleanest Starbucks in the city, and the only one Ive been in that lets you into the bathroom without having to ask for the code to the door (its posted on the door here). Its a Starbucks so its busy, but the staff is efficient and capable. Pretty artwork too.

Its a nice place. Baristas were nice and helpful. I wouldve given them a 5 stars, but they had a restroom that was blocked off, and they said it was not working, but 2 managers went in and out!

Used to be a very good spot. The restroom is changed into some trash room, and many chairs were removed. They just want you to grab a coffee and go.

Pretty standard Starbucks. Actually has seating unlike the first we saw a few blocks away. Friendly cashier.REALLY needs an additional restroom, there is a 5-6 person queue for the 1 restroom right now. Looks like they have an additional restroom just for employees next to the 1 filthy customer restroom that is sitting there unused while people wait 15 minutes to use a restroom.

I order a venti size refresher drink. Because I said no ice. Then I got my drink with half of volume. It is ridiculous. If I order a small size drink without ice, I may get an empty cup. I attended many other Starbucks and didn’t meet this case. The servicer is an Asian man. He is not professional.

On 1/15/23 the Baristas on-site were friendly, welcoming and had outstanding customer service skills. I cannot recall his name, the employee is Hispanic (central or south American), he took care of my order and did a terrific job!

A smile could be worth it really! I know it’s Sunday and the waitress could be happier working on other day but seriously…. Asking allergy stuff we we’re forced to ask her to check for it. No move. Absolutely horrible services

Dont visit this Starbucks at night. The staff was obviously frustrated about cleaning the store to close so they chose to block off an area of seating 3 hours before they even closed just so they didnt have to clean it again. I myself am a barista and know that they cant do this just so they can get out early. Also the staff was very rude and I could tell my drink was so annoying that they huffed when I grabbed it. I get it you work in one of the biggest cities in the world but youre a cafe store and right near the empire state building aka a store that just recently opened. Go somewhere else if you can at night.

Fairly large branch. Not a huge amount of seating though. Service fast and friendly. Coffee, which I ordered extra hot was scalding, just as I like it. Great views, most of the walls are glass. The place feels very light and airy. I couldnt find any free wifi. AT&T signal very good though.

I brought a guest who does not like Starbucks to this location hoping to change her mind, but when she placed her order, Sasha was shockingly hostile in telling her that a Misto cant be decaffeinated. She graduated to being downright rude when I questioned the cup size. Then Sam showed his support of his colleague by being as nasty as she when I commented on the cup being half full, tossing the contents and making us wait while he prepared another coffee. Altogether, it was not a nice experience. Especially when it cost more than $6 per cup of coffee. I guess this Starbucks is only for those of us who are already hooked and are willing to overlook poor customer service.

Great Starbucks location in the heart of New York! Power outlet, seating, and wifi are available. However, bathroom requires you to purchase something (needs a code).

These baristas were very friendly and made sure we were taken care of with free water on a hot day (we bought other things of course but they were nice enough to not charge for the ice water).

Tastes the same wherever you are in the world. Wouldnt reccomend for visitors who want something different but at least you know what to expect when you do come to starbucks

We usually go to Starbucks and like it. This one not only had the least nice personnel, but the orders took incredibly long and when they were ready they were wrong. I hope other costumers complain as well because I saw many times how they came back with their orders to have them re done. Not good!PS: the toilets were closed and after the third time we asked the staff to open them, they were soooo rude...

Worst location ever. I work in the neighborhood and drink my coffee from Empire State Building location. Every time I went to this location is probably due to rain or snow. I don’t recommend this location. Customer service is slow and sloppy. Not enough people working. Employees have bad attitude. Shop is dirty, filthy.

Im a happy barista at a Starbucks store in Wisconsin and I get the feeling this is a well-managed store. Customers are usually greeted upon entry (unless the baristas are extremely busy), are cordial and attentive, the store looks clean, and my drinks have been made perfectly. (And I make some customizations to mine b/c I know I have a myriad of options!) Ive been to 2 other Starbucks in the area during my stay in Manhattan and there have been a few mistakes with my drinks, baristas not paying attention to my order, and some dirtiness in the stores.

Lots of seating and relatively quick service! The bathroom was horrendous but thats to be expected in Herald Square--bring hand sanitizer and maybe a couple of napkins and youll be fine. If you need to sit and study or read for a while then head here!

Please stop charging extra for plant based milk.

I used to come to this location often to study and I have used their bathroom often as well. Months later I come back and now they claim to not have a bathroom 🚽 and it’s locked.

Service is terrible they do not know how to do their job debris stars are very unpolite I do not know how to do anything I asked him nicely to meet remake my drink and then continue to keep on doing it incorrectly the cashier does not know how to do anything I told him what to do to my coffee 14 times she forgot multiple things inside of my coffee and when I told the person making my coffee they forgot to add it they told me I have to go back to the counter and pay for the mistake that they made overall experience was terrible do not come to this location if you want to eat aggravation and walk out with nothing

Good coffee shop, great place and full of light with large window walls. The coffee products are good and you can find it in a large variety. The view outside is spectacular and the entertainment is quite nice in if you are ok with a little loud music which was a good selection by the way at the time when I’ve had a coffee here.

I go here to study up before class. I of course get my chocolate croissant. But its a nice chill place that you need to attack k the line as you get in or watch its start growing. What funny is, I dont drink coffee and only come for the croissants. Other then that nice vibe.

Music is wayyy too loud - louder than any other cafes that Ive ever been to. Asked the staff to lower the music multiple times, but requests were reapedly ignored. If you need to concentrate, get work done, or preserve your hearing - avoid.

I made an order for two people, both of them were messed up.

One of best in city! Attached to a hotel, mostly a tourist crowd, so not as crowded as other locations. Great high top tables with outlets and views onto the street. Staff is great. Open later than most other locations till 9:30pm.

One of my favorite Starbucks. The staff is very nice and friendly. The location is very clean and festive for all of the holidays. Its small but has a few tables. Ive had a few of their breakfast sandwiches. They have been fresh and properly heated.

I had a problem with a order in this store. The manager was fairly polite when he was talk to me. He showed courtesy and in any moment try offers other solution than give the money back.

Had kids dying to go to the restroom. They made us wait in a huge line to make a purchase before letting us use the one restroom, as the other is out of order.

Very clean and full of breakfast options.Not much please to seat and relatively crowded but definitely a very good option for breakfast or a quick stop during the day.

The Starbucks itself was clean. The associates were friendly and helpful. But the bathroom 🙈 I mean it applies to all bathrooms in Manhattan. While we all appreciate the availability of public bathrooms in these coffee shops, can Starbucks corporate please consider investing into a robust cleaning crew, that can tackle stores in areas all day long, so that they don’t look like the atom bomb went out there? Or like it’s an under bridge homeless shelter? We pay $7-10 for a cup of coffee. I’m sure you can afford investing into a proper cleaning services!!!

Wanted to comment about their amazing staff! The people that hand over the drinks at the end of the counter have continuously impressed me with their great memory and kindness. I stopped at Starbucks today at 5th Ave and E35th. I order a large iced cafe mocha, and the dude says that comes with 2% milk, is that okay? And I said No, I prefer whole milk, thanks. He rings me up and its $6.95 and with tax $8.44. And I said Whoa, why is there so much tax on $6.95? (which is already outrageous, but never mind that). He said oh its not just tax, theres a fee if you want any other kind of milk different than what it comes with. I turned incredulous, and said something like you have got to be ^*#^%ing kidding me... is that for real? And he says, yeah, and the manager calls over saying thats the policy. I said I cant tell you how many Starbucks coffees Ive ordered from, and this is made up b.s.... show me where it says theres an extra charge for choosing any milk alternative in your coffee and the manager says, Im sorry its not printed anywhere, thats just the rule. I turned and walked out, crossed the street to Dunkin, and got the same thing for $4.29 with tax. This must be a franchise Starbucks making up their own rule, and nobody challenged them before. And they dont post their bogus surcharge...

This has to be the best Starbucks Ive ever been to in NY. The staff is very friendly, they all greet you when you walk in, all the drinks are make with care & precision, and they love to get to know the regulars. Youre in and out in 5 minutes without feeling rushed. Seriously, the best!

Was there over the weekend during the parade, the place wasnt too busy and they refused my pregnant wife use of their bathroom even after we purchased coffee. Sad service and disappointed.

Such a great location! This place is great and its so convenient. Its also pretty spacious so you can easily place your order and wait far away from everyone else (due to covid).Everyone who works here is always super friendly and get your order ready fast.

Grabbed 2 coffees yesterday around 6pm. 2 girls were working and 1 just had extremely bad attitude. Asked for medium decaf coffee and room for milk. She gives me americano with hot water mixed and no milk. Asked for milk and she slides the cup towards me and say nothing. But she goes to her co-worker that “i don’t think they ever been to Starbucks”.Not to mention 25 minute wait.

They dont know how to make a standard Starbucks drink thats been on the menu for years. Had to explain to barista how to make it. Then he proceeded to ask me to open the lid of my cup and simply poured what I told him to put in there rather than making it right.

I am not a fan of Starbucks. I had an iced mocha and a blueberry muffin. It was okay. Service was fine. What I cannot understand is no toilets. Seving food and drinks, providing seating but no toilets and the nearest toilet is a Starbucks about 4 blocks away. How is that customer friendly or service

Nice, clean, and not crowded. You can seat inside, it is cool, chairs/tables are comfy + you cancharge your phone.

Cramped location since its not as large as the Empire State Building branch (2 blocks away).

Baristas are friendly and asking for proof of vaccine, always playing really good playlist with a wide variety of music, really good for studying

A good Starbucks, this one.I ducked in here for lunch one quiet Sunday afternoon, and it was nice. First, this bucks location is a full-size restaurant pretty much, with tables and chairs and restrooms and a comfortable amount of elbow room - not one of the locker-room-sized jobs of some (perhaps most) Manhattan coffee shops. Second, the atmosphere was relaxed enough (during my time there, at least), also atypical of NYC. My order came up quickly and correctly, and I proceeded to have myself a nice little luncheon there, kept company by a good book as a sparse Midtown crowd trickled past the windows. Finally, the restroom was functional, and I left the place feeling nourished and at peace. Bueno!Big thanks to all the folks at this restaurant, for enabling my lovely Manhattan outing. Keep it up :D

Save yourself some time and aggregation and go to a different Starbucks. Every time Ive come here there is a 10+ minute for my drink after ordering it. And thats assuming they got it right. There are so many other Starbucks locations in the area; go to another one for better service.

This Starbucks needs a zero. They need better baristas. My mom and sister brought two green tea frappuccinos. Their drinks were horrible. They asked the barista to make their drinks again. It didnt make a difference. The drinks were too sweet. They were so sweet that taste of the classic syrup didnt taste right. It tasted spoil. Not coming back here again.

I was waiting for my order about 20 minutes. First, they forgot about my sandwiches. Second, they prepared cold caramel macchiato instead hot one. Third, the beverage was so bitter that I couldn’t drink it.

This is my go to Starbucks in the area. There is another one not too far away closer to the Empire State Building but this one tends to have less of a crowd and I just like it more. Out of all the times I have been only once did they mess up my order, but they were prompt on correcting the issue.
