The doors are a but hard to open but its got a small seating area and very kind baristas.

The Barista named AL at this location is a true professional. I had ordered the same drink twice earlier this morning at different Starbucks locations. It came out wrong both times and the drink had to be thrown away because it was to watered down. When i told him this, he put the order into the system and went back to make the drink personally. I will now be frequent thing this location by choice.Suavé Al!!!!

Worst staff. So Rude and impolite.I wasted my day by encountering this place and person. She said she was from portirico.. but behaved like she owes NY. She asked me to go away. When I knocked on the store window. She opened and said they’d re short staffed and she will open when she will.. I can wait or I can leave . I said it’s already 6.00 she said ya but I can’t open now. And was just plain rude and filthy. Never going back to Starbucks again !!!!!!!!!

Dont purchase gift cards from this store. Someone is stealing the numbers and using the cards when theyve been purchased.Update: STILL no resolution from Starbucks, or my credit card company on this issue. Ive spent countless time on the phone trying to resolve this. Honest people getting shafted daily. :(

Unprofessionalism. Sadly, I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I cannot find a store manager (named Colton) to file a formal complaint. This review is for a behavioral complaint about a single staff member (Shaleene) and does not reflect on the other wonderful baristas at this location. At 6:15 am on 11/1/2024, I entered my neighborhood Starbucks on 23rd and 8th and purchased my usual regular tall coffee in the morning. As I exited, there was a female worker named Shaleene in front of me rolling a garbage can out the front door. I followed behind her and she held the door for me and I said “thank you”. As I walked away she shouted out at me in a rude manner “you’re welcome”. I turned around and told her that I said thank you. She argued with me that I did not, which prompted me to walk back into the store and again explain to her that I said thank you and surely she did not hear me. I stated that I am a frequent customer and requested her not to be rude toward me as I live around the corner of W. 22nd and 8th and come often. She stated she knows who I am and that I am the one “who is always rude and rude to all of her staff” about “dark roast”. I reassured her that I am always nice to her staff, but regardless her behavior is no way to treat a customer. She told me her name, when asked, and identified herself as a SUPERVISOR (this is my first time seeing her at that store) and was still unapologetic. I told her she was upsetting me enough not to bring my business back to this Starbucks, which prompted me to ask for the name of the store manager (“Colton”). Unfortunately, I will not be coming back to this store with this employee there as I feel uncomfortable with the unprofessional treatment — assuming this is a pattern and will happen to me again and other customers in the future.

I needed an early morning coffee fix today and while I dont typically frequent Starbucks, this was open. Im thrilled I did. The folks working today greeted me with a welcoming Good morning the moment I walked in the door. While the transaction was short, they were cheerful and lovely and really started my morning off so wonderfully. Thank you so much for the smile this morning. It was very much needed.

I usually don’t do reviews, but the OUTSTANDING service I received from Ryan today is the reason for this! He was so kind and patient when I came up to order! He was able to explain the menu to me and make sure I knew what I was ordering! Highly recommend getting a drink made by him, it was delicioussssss! I will be back very soon to see my favorite barista!

This location discriminates on who can use restrooms. Telling customers there are no public restrooms.RIDICULOUS.

It was great, they have wifi so you can relax while on your laptop or other devices, but dont be there too long because youre going to have to use the bathroom and they dont have one

Customer service has gone downhill at this location big time. More than once I placed a order online well ahead of getting there. Not ready by the time I arrive is ok sometimes but to wait a extra 20 minutes before even being acknowledged isnt on top of waiting even longer after that to receive a item. With a side of attitude that wasnt ordered.Edit: Order wasnt even fully done correctly!

I’ve only ever been here twice. Both times on Thursday’s. Both times after 5:00pm. Today I walked in there was no one ordering or waiting for a drink. I walk up and order and the guy behind the counter says I’ve already clocked out. He then stood there for about 10 seconds and walked away. There were three people behind the counter and I was ignored for 30 more seconds before I decided to leave. This experience was very similar to my previous visit.

Horrible Customer Service! We were on line for about 10 minutes to order with an elderly woman and once we got to the register, they refused service because it was past 6:30, the time when they close (it was 6:32). Would not recommend, there is another coffee shop 2 blocks away with better customer service and even better prices.

They open at 6. My last garbage stop is next to them. Love the environment and the energy. My go-to every morning chance I get.

MY FAVORITE STARBUCKS!! This is where I get coffee at 5:30am on my way to work. Stuff are friendly, and hard workers! One time a drunk guy (oh yes, ppl continue to drink around that time) was getting so close to me when I was waiting for a door to open before 5:30am, and a stuff quickly came out from the store, saved me. How nice is that?

Bad coffee (and far too hot) and a microwave-warmed bagel. Anyone knows that bread does not work in a microwave -- it just goes chewy -- you have to toast it. I had to ask the staff for sugar. Then I had to go back and ask for a stirrer. Why didnt they offer them at the outset, if they are not self-service?

I got in carcrash nearby, but fortunately there was a Starbucks 10 metres ahead. I used theirs bathroom to wash my hands from blood and dust. Best bathroom ever. It worth 5 stars !

Friendly service. I normally have hot chocolate or a regular drip coffee from here mainly to kill time before my official work hours. Its very close to the 23rd Station of the C and E trains.

Normally, one Starbucks is just like the other. This one is an exception. There are only about 5 tables in here. If you are lucky, someone will come over and move your table while sitting at it so that it is easier for the customers to walk to the register, meanwhile making it impossible for you to get out. Then, when you finally are able to squeeze out of your tiny table space and make it to the bathroom, you will find that locked with a sign on it saying that it is currently being deep cleaned and that chemicals are currently in use. Their only bathroom. Also, Dont expect to come here to sit and relax either, one of their lucky customers might take half of your tiny table and proceed to spill your drink all over the place. Dont be fooled by the A rating on the door, they obviously cheated on the exam.

Something wrong with this stores system they did not have my mobile order, I was waiting long then finally have to ask at the counter whats happening with my order? The person on the counter was nice and finally gave me the order still they did not have blonde roster coffee.

Great Starbucks at a great location excellent service they have free Wi-Fi, charging ports built into the system on the tables to just put your phone on them they have Outlets by every table, and excellent choices of treats, and food platters the coffee there is fresh and the staff is very friendly. Its in a very good location near 8th Avenue and in the heart of Chelsea right by the SVA theater and also buy a lot of great shopping stores hotels are right next door along with many outdoor markets this is a great location for Starbucks in Md Chelsea New York City.

Pretty small location with limited seating. Not the best Starbucks to grab a coffee and charge your phone or do some work but works fine to grab and go. But near me so good.

Servers are great, but you cant think here the music is so loud and pounding.

This store is my morning go to and the staff there NEVER DISAPPOINTS!! They are friendly, helpful, know me by my Name, and just simply put they make my mornings!

Slow service and usually never clean. Always mop buckets out everywhere and the bathroom is a no go. Employees are usually yelling at each other which doesn’t help with the speed.

Some of the worst staff I have come across at a Starbucks in a while. There is a mobile order pick-up window which I stood at to pick up my mobile order, I was very pointedly ignored for close to 10 minutes until my husband went inside and asked about the lack of communication from the staff just 3 feet away on the inside. He was pointed to a pick-up area at the counter instead, which was supposedly in alphabetical order but 2 items from my order were placed separately under the wrong alphabet. Altogether ridiculous and exceptionally rude, you just dont treat people that way.

Ive been to many Starbucks where they do what you ask them to do with your coffee. Exactly what to do, & not charging you extra. The female employee I spoke to at this one was amazingly respectful, & helpful with what I asked for. One male employee interrupted me multiple times when we were speaking, & said that they wouldnt be able to do what I asked for. I had to tell him to stop interrupting me, & listen. He finally said well make it. They charged me extra which is ridiculous. Mostly because what they gave me tasted absolutely disgusting. Did not taste at all how I asked them to make it. The guy who made it had an attitude problem as well.I never understood why Starbucks is so expensive when a lot of employees have nasty attitudes, & dont always make great drinks.

This Starbucks is not so big but it is cozy and has table with power. Avoid busy hours if you want to sit down and take your time while enjoying your drink.

Typical Starbucks overall. My Iced White Chocolate Mocha tasted the same as any other Starbucks, which is good. The bathrooms were closed, even to customers, and they werent allowing indoor dining. All that is expected given the current situation. The only thing that really stood out was the person working didnt have the greatest customer service skills. They were somewhat friendly to the other customer that came in though. So theres that.

Just horrible I arrived at 8pm and asked to use the bathroom and Joey and a the dark skinned girl who was working with him refused to let me use the rest room cuz they cleaned it. But the store didn’t close until an hour later so that made no sense and was just plain inhumane. Both were EXTREMELY RUDE! There was NO manager on side and if at minimum customer service is not a priority for those two employees then they should not be working there. Starbucks as an establishment should be ashamed of this. I am very offended

Usually the service is great here. Today I had a horrible experience though. Waited 15 minutes for my mobile order only to have the Barista (Wendy) tell me that I was pronouncing my own name wrong and my order was ready the whole time. Maybe she just doesn’t know how to read because I assure you I know how to say my own name and did so multiple times and showed her my receipt on my phone. Who has the audacity to tell someone they don’t know their OWN NAME? On top of that, she was letting all these impatient customers touch the lids of other peoples drinks. We’re in the middle of a pandemic and expected to drink from lids touched by the germy hands of countless customers? Disgusting.

Needed a traveler box of coffee for a production crew at 5am. Despite having just opened I was greeted with an extremely helpful and friendly staff. I was in and out in no time. I sincerely appreciate their hard work at such an early time of the day. I didnt get their names, but I hope they are recognized for their stellar work. Thank you.

Al the Barista was wonderful Friendly and heated up my sandwich before I asked . The ham and cheese sandwich was disappointing. The ham was too salty. Very little Swiss cheese. Not good. Coffee was great. Very nice decor. Spent 10.00$.

Terrible service!!! I ordered a cappuccino from them and it was really disgusting!!! I didnt even try it, I threw it away. The cup was dirty, opened, and only half full (I am 100% sure that someone drank from it), it was also diluted with something suspicious like oil. Awful!!!

I entered the store went there wasnt much in-store customers. I tried to order a drink but they didn’t have much of ingredients. I waited 15 minutes for a Croissant to be heated up but was told that it was because they were backed up from mobile orders but the person who was on line right behind me, got what she ordered. I ended up just asking for my croissant because it was never being heated up. It wasn’t even out of the plastic!

Friendly service and great New York atmosphere

This is one of the 3 plus the Roastery of Starbucks that I frequently go to here in this part of Chelsea. I like my time being here. Its just a different crowd that I see here. The space is bigger than the 2 other ones. Service is good.

The baristas are polite. Unfortunately, they dont have any iPhone chargers because they never keep track of the ones they release. Dont try to charge youre iPhone here without your own charger.

Went here at 2PM, they were blasting crazy loud music, a coffee shop isnt a nightclub.guess they havent heard but there are these new inventions:laptops, ipads, cell phones and head phone, pepole can play thier own music.

If you intend to pick up your beverage and go, fine. If youre intending to sit, relax, read a book — dont count on it. Space is miniscule, the facility is generally dirty, customers here are usually territorial.

I was just at the Starbucks and purchased 3 drinks, 2 Nito coldbrew and a Iced Coffee. I wanted additional almondmilk for my cold brew coffee and was refused the milk without an addiontal charge. I am shocked at the poor service provided as I am a very faithful Starbucks customer. New York Starbucks I am dissappointed in my experience with you. I will be contacting your head office for this poor service!

There wasnt a bathroom available for me use as a patron who placed a order 10/23/21 2:55pm . I hope theyre not treating worker like this and have the dignity of a functioning working bathroom accessible for them . I was very disappointed .

Good location, close to Subway, friendly staff, came in minutes before closing, no problem, could have stayed open longer.

My frappuccino was too watery and I ordered caramel ribbon crunch and not caramel or crunch ontop.

My local Sbux is nice, friendly staff. I am not crazy about the overroasted coffee (charbucks), but I go there for a very occasional latte or flat white.

You cnt take a nap in there bcuz some store director says its forbidden. yet a bum can come in with 42 bags and use the bathroom to take a chit. Noone says nothing. 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Its​ one the oldest ones in Chelsea, certainly much older than the 3 downtown from here along 8th Ave and Greenwich Ave; its gotten a number of recent facelifts which seem to include an increase in both barista efficiency & in-house esprit-de-corps. Its spacious enough and wired for wifi.

Small place, and with very excessive prices. We ordered two small coffees with milk and it cost us 10 dollars, and to taste the colors, but nothing to envy a coffee from any bar in Spain. I went only once and I didnt go back because of the prices.

A Starbucks like others, although in this case, perhaps a little smaller. Its not usually very busy and the ordering area is small. There isnt much seating, but coffee, sandwiches and pastries are standard.
