One of my personal favorite Starbucks! Staff are helpful and always lively and energetic. The atmosphere is great, it’s not too loud, and there are quite a few seating options available. I do suggest ordering on the app instead of in person, just for the sake of efficiency. Staff were also very nice and helpful. I ordered a chocolate croissant on the Starbucks app, but they didn’t have it so they insisted on giving me a free donut as well as a four dollar starbucks redeemable card. Great place overall!

I recently visited the Starbucks on Lexington and 96th and was extremely disappointed. A 16 oz cup of coffee cost over $4.00, and it wasnt even good. Just down the road, theres a nice cafe with delicious coffee for much less.To make matters worse, my total came to nearly $10.00 for just a small breakfast sandwich and the coffee. This is a serious rip-off. Im very disappointed in the direction Starbucks is going and will be looking for a new place to get a quick beverage and bite to eat.

Your workers seem to lack comprehension skills and proper training. My order was remade twice and still incorrect both times. Employees are there for a reason and are paid, so why are they making mistakes twice ? Whoever is responsible for training and hiring your employees needs to improve. They seem ill-prepared to handle their roles effectively.

Refreshing beverages...Caramel ribbon Frappuccino or one of the new or seasonal flavors along with a baked good...especially the warmed walnut banana bread...after a long day at work. Great atmosphere with interesting music being played in the background.Truly enjoy stopping in after work before heading home. Doesnt have a restroom. The service is great and quick.

One of the nicest Starbucks places I’ve ever been to! The staff is incredibly nice and they make the orders extremely fast. Super satisfied with this place!

I truly love this Starbucks. The team is so welcoming from the moment you walk in (even just to pick-up your mobile order) until you walk out. The warmth and friendliness has brought me back to this location for my pre-work breakfast and coffee every time now, compared to other locations near my work. Also, the wait time is great because they’re so on top of it. And they loudly call out your name when it’s ready so there isn’t any confusion. Thanks y’all!!

I had ordered my drink online and had no issues got right the first time. The pickup was fast and easy. I didnt have to wait for them to remake my drink. That to me was satisfied. I hope I get to try their food next.

They don’t make drinks correctly at all. Mgmt puts new staff on the floor without proper training.

Team can we very welcoming upon entering. However they can’t seem to make my drink right. I simply ask for no foam but always seem to get 1/4 cup of foam. Can you please train baristas to hold back the foam. Thank you 😊In response: Yes the team barista offered to remake my drink but on multiple occasions my wait time is about 10 minutes and can not wait for my drink to be remade and not guaranteed that it will be made right after waiting from my experience. Please consider more training.

I had a terrible experience at this Starbucks location. I specifically ordered my drink with premium non-dairy milk, which I paid extra for, but they used regular milk instead. As the barista passed me my drink, I noticed a canister of whole milk directly in front of him, so I asked him to confirm the type of milk used. He assured me it was non-dairy, but this was clearly not true. As someone with a severe intolerance, this mistake caused me to become violently ill, leaving me sick and throwing up all night. This demonstrates not only a lack of care but also a serious lapse in accountability. If you choose to visit this location, I strongly recommend watching them carefully as they prepare your drink to ensure they follow your order correctly. I cannot recommend patronizing this location and urge others to be cautious.

Overcharged me. $6.53 for a regular coffee

Got my order wrong , they wouldnt fix it then I asked for the red cup that they were giving away with handcrafted drinks and told me to go to the register the line was long they kept saying go to the register even though I ordered online . Rude unprofessional dollar store employees. I will never come back an neither will my friends.

The staff here really needs to be mindful of what they say when customers are waiting. I’m literally standing in here, watching the pink apron make my drink, as he proceeds to make jokes about my order. Very immature, very NOT cute, very unprofessional. Is it coming out your paycheck??? I never understood why people decide to criticize those that patronize their job. Obviously you can’t teach common sense to idiots. I will not be coming back to this location, it’s always an issue.

One of THE BEST locations you can go to. Right off the station, staff is INCREDIBLE and passionate about keeping the place clean, your order right, and being as helpful as possible all the way to closing time. Cant say enough about this location. Highly recommend 5/5!

I love this location. It is my go to but today was a miss. I am pretty easy going and dont like to make a fuss but if you are paying almost $7 -$8 a drink, employees should know how to make drinks. This did not look nor taste like a iced brown sugar oatmilk shaken espresso. Just gross.

My first time here and I must say great staff. Cashier name tag Jack was so personable . I never leave a tip but I did today. Great job ! Will come back again. You exceeded my expectations. Thank you

When I picked up the latte I ordered via the app it was only half full w/milk. I politely showed the woman that the drink was more like a cappuccino & my order said Latte. (I expected she’d just add some steamed milk & I’d be off) She angrily took it & said she’d remake it & when she did, she practically threw it at me. I wasnt rude I just pointed out an error. (We all make them occasionally) Its HER job to know the diff b/tw latte & cappuccino. I see no reason for her to make me feel bad for trying to obtain the correct drink. That store (96th & Lex) used to be a feel- good place. Friendly, & the coffee drinks always delicious! I guess if you go there now you better put up or shut up.

Have to give this location a special shoutout! I came in all numbed from a big dental surgery and could barely speak and they were extremely friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate it! thank you!

So I frequent this location enough to say that when it comes to drinks, they’re made well. You should order 10 minutes ahead of your eta however even then you’ll end up waiting even longer for your food. Weeks ago they said that only one oven was working but honestly I’ve ordered on a slow morning and still had to wait excessively long for my food.

They don’t allow customers to use their bathrooms even if you beg. Telling you to “call corporate and complain”!

No restroom here - accessible or otherwise. Friendly Staff, but they told me it has been closed for years. Its a shame because wheelchair accessible restrooms are few and far between, and Starbucks is usually very reliable for that. They told me nearest publicly available restroom is CVS on 97th Street.

The music is always too loud, and customers try to talk over the music. Sounds like a fish market. You definitely cant sit there have a cup of coffee and think at all. Or unwind at the end of the day. The layout of the place gives the impression that the owners just care about your money and nothing else. Some of the staff is not that friendly and looks stressed out. And compared to other shops, the drinks are of a much lower standard.

It was tasty but I couldnt sign into the Wi-Fi. It was my first time being a customer in a Starbucks period. It said that tht my email was not in the right format even though it was and the staff was not clear in telling me to wait on the other side (they didnt tell me anything at all actually) for my drink, so I looked silly waiting in front of the register, but went out on a whim and moved over when he called the next customer.

How can a Starbucks have no bathroom? You are selling beverages for god’s sake! The baristas are busy chatting and playing and flirting with each other instead of helping. I was standing at the counter, my drink was already made (I was the only one waiting for drink at this point), but they were too busy chatting to give it to me. I was standing there for 2 minutes, trying to grab their attention but to no valid because they just treated me as transparent. And then when I finally got my drink order (ordered on app) and it was the wrong one. At this point I didn’t even bother to talk to them anymore. Threw my drink in the bin and left.

They take coffee seriously!!, and the staff..., I need to admit.., is staffed, I need to admit, by a staff of characters, I need to admit.

Violating the health code. The violation is no areas to was your hands. Bathroom is always closed.Large crowd, slow and forgetful service (forgot my drink twice) and the music is very loud. I dont mind rap music on my personal radio but never in a cafe. I need jazz or a piano going on in the background to write or read.

Fast good service but no restroom. So it not like a starbucks you can lounge all day with a book or on your laptop. Because drinking beverages causes you to use the restroom especially coffee which is a diaretic beverage.

Setting is good. Conveniently located right by the 6 train. Ordered the caramel ribbon crunch frap. Very good flavor. Its a little light on the coffee but still enjoyable.

Worst Starbucks! I ordered a venti iced white mocha latte. It mostly tasted like milk, sugar, and only one shot of espresso. The male Starbucks employee who made my drink, didnt want to hand me my drink (that was already made), until he finished making a drink for a female customer. Never coming here again!

In these last few steamy hot days this was the perfect place to be. Everyone was pleasant and the music was great as well.

If there’s a problem with the app/payment there’s no resolution offered. I lost money from my Starbucks card here. Drinks have missing items and the texture is off. The same drink changes drastically from day to day. Cashiers will finish readjusting things behind the counter before taking orders.

Will consistently get your order wrong even after notifying them of it and requesting it to be changed. Don’t waste your time or money at this location.

I ordered a venti frap, why pay extra when all you get is the same coffee as a tall and a half a cup full of whip cream. Disappointing for a 7$ drink.

As of July 2024, theyre closed for renovations.

My hot white chocolate Mochas were on point and delicious so was my lemon loaf.

The employees are great and the food and beverages are good. There is not always enough seating. Sometimes I have to stand around and wait for a seat. Also, I hate that there is no restroom!

The music level was so loud and club like that it was too difficult and discouraging to stay to enjoy my coffee and do some work. I left and got coffee else where.People should be reminded this is a coffee shop not a dance club.

This rating reflects the monopoly Postmates has with this Starbucks. Easily allowing them to charge an additional $16 on a $7 order 5blocks away. Disgusting

Who ever makes the coffee at 6am thank you its so yummy 😋 ...helps us get through the day. I ordered my daughter the vanilla creame and its so good.

The music is extremely loud, this is not a club. If you ask the staff to lower the volume they get offended. If you are looking for a place to study or just have a conversation this is not the place.

I have always bought and everything has been very good but today when I stopped by for a drink they treated me well and the girl who prepares drinks was super rude and told me that I had to pay to add more juice because I did not want ice in the drink alone because I ordered a lemonade without ice I dont know if he didnt like me but its not my problem Im paying for the service

I had to wait for my Americano Coffee and Blueberry muffin for more than 10 min. They wont tell you the code for the restroom and it takes them at least 5 mins for someone to come with a frown face and enter the darn code. Then he would forget the code, would go back to the girls, they would whisper it again and he would go back. He doesnt remember the code and so he runs to the girls twice every time. This is the worst coffee shop Ive ever been to and Im paying not cheap for my coffee and scone.

Gave me the wrong size iced tea and took awhile to get someone to fix it. But they were happy to fix it once they knew about it.Nice seating near the subway.

Every time I am visiting Manhattan and I am waiting for the bus out to Long Island, I also go an order a cappuccino with almond milk.

Open long hours, this coffee place has saved me when I needed a nice cup of coffee or want to reward myself with the delicious pumpkin spice latte. The place is big and good for study

The manager, Jasmine is doing a fabulous job here. The employees are always so kind, happy, and helpful. Exactly what a customer wants to be greeted by when picking up their needed coffee. The music is always bopping, and yet is never overly loud. Facilities are always clean too. It’s one of the best run Starbucks in the city. So grateful it’s a staple of the East Harlem/UES border. Everyone working here needs a raise.

The weekend crew doesn’t move with any sense of urgency. They were having a conversation about how they wouldn’t suggest anyone work at Starbucks… Very unprofessional. They didn’t even greet me or anything.

They really need to get it together over there....I dont appreciate any business allowing people (especially those who dont look like me) to openly and readily skip me on line as if its the actual culture of what goes on over there.

I work a few feet away from this Starbucks so I’m there at least 5 days a week. With that being said I LOVE this location! The staff is ridiculously friendly and they work so efficiently. I never have to wait long. They remember ALL their regular customers and greet us with such a great hello everyday. This location is why I stopped going to Dunkin. Love this place

Purposely wiping my hand with cleaning solution for what? What if I was allergic? The joke wouldn’t have been funny anymore and I’d be alittle richer.

The 96th St. morning team is absolutely amazing! Always so friendly with a great sense of urgency and very personable. Definitely the best service I’ve received at any Starbucks in general.

I hung out at the Starbucks at East 96th Street and Lexington yesterday for nearly two hours while managing emails. The music was great and it wasnt very busy -- I know people do this often but it was my first time doing this and it was very pleasant.

Visiting from out of town. I stopped by this Starbucks. Let me start by telling you the warm welcome from the staff was very impressive especially here in NY were the majority of the people are obnoxious and arrogant.I sat down to enjoy my meal and the staff knew 90% or more of the customers that was walking in the door by name and there orders.This Starbucks customer service is phenomenal!!!Anytime you’re on this side of the big apple. Stop by and grab a coffee.

Gloria and some other staff members are very unfriendly, rude and hostile towards customers.

They were quick, very friendly, and made my drink perfect. It was super crowded and i had to request for people to give me space. Its expected in a store connected to a subway station.

Extremely rude service by the supervisor at this franchise. Mocked me as I tried to customize my drink and gave me snarky looks and rude comments the WHOLE time. Another member came in and had to accommodate for her nasty attitude and when I finally got my drink and said thank you and turned around to leave, she goes “what’s she so mad about.”Starbucks maybe you should hire people that have more capability than only reading a straight order that requires no modification. Or at least someone that doesn’t mock it’s customers.The service here is disrespectful and not up to the Starbucks standard, and I will not be returning.

Worse place to go, period. I placed an order and every white person that walled in and ordered after me picked up and left. I approached them and this weird looking guy made fun about it. This place is always very busy & it tends to be messy & people seem to think theyre sitting in their living rooms. If you place a mobile order, make sure you do so with a lot of time in advance otherwise you are sure to wait quite some time. Staff is always friendly.

They had my order ready quickly and with a smile. Theres usually somewhere to sit. More outlets would be helpful also a bathroom.

Awful!! Absolutely awful. There’s no outlet plug to charge your laptop or phone only one under the wall chairs and guess what there’s wood purposely built in under the chair so you can’t reach in and charge your device. It’s covered on purpose cause there’s don’t want you charging your phone. I almost broke my arm injured myself trying to reach the outlet.Screw this place $6.50 for a basic latte.

Love this Starbucks.Pros- orders are almost always accurate- fast ringing up and preparing the drink (lines go by quickly)- baristas are friendly and will ask you to clarify before assuming anything- if they are out of an item, they suggest something similar (and usually just as good)- people behind the cash registers seem happy to see you :)Cons- sometimes its a little dirty in there / people dont throw away their garbageOverall, I usually have a great experience and am pleased with my drink.

Extremely disappointed and havent been there since!Cashier refused to find change from $100 even though it was not busy. She was unfriendly and did not even try to come up with a solution. sorry no change was all she kept saying. When I was a shift supervisor and barista none of this happened. Pros- Very good wifi Cons- Too loud and disturbing music, they never read their customers reviews to correct their mistakes. I never recommend to anyone who come to entertain themselves.

Nice busy coffee batista place always crowded lines are long too sometimes and the music is blasting very loud happy crews who works there...in general its a nice place very friendly staffs.
