Knock Out Cafe NY

Beautiful new art gallery and coffee shop in East Village. Great coffee, pastries, and a warm welcoming space. Im a Texan and the special day tacos were some of the best Ive had in the city. In addition, the owners have their own fashion line and you can see their collections in the back.

If you are a coffee fiend like me, then just looking at the photos of Knock Out Cafe cappuccino/mocha side by side with Ninth Street espresso (blue cup) would tell you everything you need to know. It always amazes me when a coffee shop doesnt do its research about other options in the neighborhood to see what they are competing against. My cappuccino at Knock Out was burnt, and the sloppy mocha, which had milk unceremoniously dumped into it, was a an overly-sweet disaster. We threw out both of our drinks and went to Ninth Street Coffee I got a beautiful cappuccino. But I should have known the ☕️ would not be good because Knock Out didnt have to stay cups for milk drinks, and I dont know a single place that does great coffee while not having options to stay. It right away signals they dont take their coffee seriously (its like if a wine bar served great wine in paper cups). Its too bad, I was craving a new coffee place in the neighborhood, its just too bad this one is it.

Came to try the barbacoa that was available this weekend and was beyond impressed. Perfectly salted by itself, but the salsas took the tacos to the next level. The place is cozy as well with great art decor that add a nice bit of refinement to the neighborhood.

Great concept cafe.The coffee is very good. Get the matcha cake, it runs out fast. On top it nails the art concept vibe. Great ambience, art and music and a good spot to work fromA different cafe thats a great addition to the neighborhood.

I absolutely love coming here! Their cortado is perfection—smooth, rich, and comforting, like a warm hug in a cup. The rotating gallery featuring monthly pop-up artists keeps the space feeling fresh and inspiring with every visit. To top it all off, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, making every visit feel special. Highly recommend!
