Cool spot for drinks, food, and fun and was a welcomed break from the Times Square chaos. I had the hanger steak and a local beer. The food was portioned well and cooked perfectly. We watched football games and there were plenty of kids options too.
Great atmosphere. Wide range of beer and tasty drinks. Their cans are just as Great as their taps.Like a lot of places in nyc, it can get loud. I wouldnt recommend going here with family who uses hearing aids.
The place is nice, but the attention of the Latino bartender is abrupt, dry and apathetic. I told him that he should be more friendly and he said that I shouldnt come expecting a smile from him.
The staff were extremely kind and professional. They asked if I needed anything multiple times and made sure me and my party were taken care of.They were able to play our football team’s game on an individual tv at a booth which was nice because we are from out of town. They shutdown the kitchen and bar, but they let us stay late to finish the game.Thank you!
Sports on TV, not too crowded past 20:00 and we got a table and orders placed within 5 minutes. Staff is very nice and the place offers a good selection of beers (although most of them are cans). They have vegetarian-friendly options. The food was good and not too pricey considering the neighborhood. Some good cocktails are also on the menu, although I didn’t try them. Music might be a bit too loud for casual conversations, but I guess it also depends on where you are sitting. Some outdoors seats are also available. Overall, I would recommend going there. Good-sized tasty portions.
$14 for a glass of 6% abv sour IPA. Before tax and tip. I know its near Time Square but still so expensive. Nicely poured though. And Id stick around for more beer but the taplist options were poor
Decided to come into the city for an after work date and stumbled upon District Tap House while researching for a cool spot, saw online that they had Happy Hour (4-7pm) and came in! We ordered these super delicious spicy honey mustard wings, jalapeño poppers and meatballs with some beers and drinks. Happy Hour prices are only for drinks not food, which was fine because everything was moderately priced. Food was delicious, ambiance was inviting with the dark wood furniture and book shelves above the bar and it was full of happy people. I would definitely come back!
I should have left this review a long time ago! We were here months ago & I had the BEST Grilled Cheese EVER! I was thinking about it the other day & remembered to finally leave a review. The service & drinks were great as well!
Food was good especially the wings but service wasn’t up to much, bar staff too busy chatting amongst themselves. Decent choice of beers though.
Nice and trendy place where you can drink a lot of beers and eat tasty food. Service, ambiance and music up to the level. Book early since place is not that big and very popular. Very good!
Excellent food! Brussels Sprouts, goat cheese croquets, and THE BURGER omg and fish tacos! Ya gotta come here! Kudos to the new chef and the wait staff was attentive but not intrusive. Well be back fer sure ❤️
Food…OUTSTANDING!! We had to place our order at the bar, which was fine, but after we finished, our table was not cleaned for quite sometime. If not for that, I’d give it 5 stars. Definitely will go back!!
Got there late for a reunion of HS classmates. Wasnt able to get food but my friends say the food was really good. Had a couple of stouts from the tap. They were nice. Will have to go again for the grub.
If you start off this new year in this establishment you won’t regret it . Possibly two months ago I came here on one of the worse days you can imagine and afte. it wasn’t to eat it was when I came back the second time to try the food which I enjoyed I only wished the guava chicken was crispy the taste was on point as well as the French fries which was well worth it. Thanks to the awesome bartender collins who made the ruby rose margarita that you have to try if you make it there . I’m sure you will find the drink delightful and place beautiful like I did .
Fantastic! Food and the service was amazing. Our server put on Thursday night football just for us and was super prompt with drinks and food.
Food is excellent and beer selection is deep. Lots of great stuff on tap. Service was slow due to understaffing on a moderately busy Sunday evening.
Nice bar. Friendly bartenders. All the food was delivered cold :( nice happy hour beer selection. No food specials
Most are in Times Square are full of tourists and are overpriced. This place has one of the most amazing beer list I have every seen. More than I can count. The servers and bartenders are super friendly. They do have happy hour but only If you seat at the bar. So if you go during happy hour you might have a hard time finding a place to seat. I would recommend making a reservation ahead of time siting on a table and enjoying. Their food is amazing. Try anything in the menu there is no way to go wrong.
Great draft and bottled beer selection. I particular enjoy that they have a cinnamon sugar rim option for their pumpkin Ale options. The bacon wrapped dates were the best appetizer option we had (also tried the shoshito peppers) and I strongly recommend it for your meal or to accompany your drink. The entrees were decent but not what we would come back for. Great spot for a late night or happy hour beer!
The Veggie Burger is amazing! The fries are made in duck fat though so if you are Vegetarian be aware. Slightly pricey.
Great service and staff!!Love coming down here for a cold one after a long day of work!! Just be aware that it gets super crowded right after work and sometimes large parties show up.What’s on tap is seasonal and food is decent too - not the regular bar food that most Irish pubs have in the Midtown area.
Loved this place on our trip to NY! Wish we had similar in the uk. We shared a burger and the mac and cheese and it was delicious. Cocktails were great too and extensive list of beers
The bartenders are super nice and very accommodating. Great beer selection.
Great atmosphere, good food, but I would suggest to be able to order mixed sliders.
Awesome bar for watching any game! There are TVs and projectors everywhere. The bar is all filled with enthusiastic sports fans so be prepared to scream for your team. The food comes in small portions and I would assume its like finger food. The only item that would fill you for a meal would be the burger. I ordered the crab empanadas, Brussels sprouts and the burger with duck fat fries. The best item was by far the burger, it was cooked perfectly and super juicy with the crunchiness fries ever! And the most important thing, the drink menu is a never ending list!
The food and service was great. The bartender and waitresses responded quick to my requests and were bilingual as well so I was able to practice my Spanish. Will definitely return!
Went for apps and drinks — everything was delicious & the service friendly! We went around 5:30 and it wasn’t very busy but certainly filled up fast, a reservation could be worth it
Brussel sprouts are highly suggested!
Ideally Id give 3.5 stars if Google allowed. Place is very cool bar with high tops through out and TVs at basically all angles. It is a gastropub so know that youre getting several small plates that can add up. I thought food combos were interesting (butterfly shrimp, masala skewers, and pork chop) but others missed ( goat cheese croquet, spare ribs) . All and all id go back for drinks but possibly eat elsewhere if I was looking for anything other than a couple snacks. 3.5/5.
Good food and atmosphere. Waitress was very attentive to our table and her drink and menu recommendations were amazing.
This place is a fantastic sports bar! 🍻 District Tap House offers a wonderful selection of draft beers 🍺 and comfort food! 🍽️ Definitely get their Nachos with Guacamole 🥑 and Chicken! 🍗 The place is nicely decorated 🛋️, the staff 👨🍳 is friendly, service is quick ⏲️, and they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating! 🪑 I wish I knew about this place earlier!
Overall a good place, nothing too special though. Classic nicer looking dive bar. Food is pretty decent. Wasn’t crazy good but was pretty good. I’m a harsh rater for 5 stars. The way they wash cups is gross though. I saw them at bar just dip once in soap water then leave to dry. Everyone having a glass is drinking soap water…
This place is awesome! Day bartender, Leah is AMAZING. She knows her beers very well and can recommend one for you! My favorite sandwich is the shrimp sandwich.
Small portions for the price. Calamari was very greasy and our service was very slow... she kept running around like she didnt know what to do next. She spent a lot of time just walking up and down the bar.
Food was okay; service was incredibly slow. Probably would skip.
Went on a Friday night to catch up with a group of friends. Service was prompt but not invasive. Good beer list, and a nice, versatile menu of all really yummy food. Also not insanely crowded, but not awkwardly dead either. Ive been here before and got good reviews from my friends after leaving. Would definitely recommend!
Cool tap house, really chill vibes, decent drinks, I didnt have much food to comment on that aspect. The fries were crispy though! Surprisingly quiet for a football Sunday which was pleasant (even though I enjoy football)!
Met a few friends at the bar for happy hour drinks. The place gets 3 stars because of the nice environment and it’s good if you’re into sports. However, our bartender would barely make eye contact, kept walking right by us and when we finally got his attention would just say what do you want as if been asked for a favor, not a service. Not the best customer service experience here.
Highly dissatisfied with the visit. I sat at the bar willing to try some local draft beer. When the barmen asked me what I wanted, I told him that I wanted something light and crisp. He immediately turned around and left to pour me my beer. When he came back with a full glass (no, he didn’t let me to taste it first), I asked him which one was that. To which he mumbled something while turning around, so I didn’t hear him. Later, from the check I found out that it was just… Stella! This barmen couldn’t care less. Not coming back.
Theyve got a decent selection of beers, a mix of tap and bottled, domestic and international. The atmosphere is pretty average, with lots of TVs playing sports, and not much in the way of comfortable seating.Service is poor, unfortunately. The staff cant handle simple food orders, and forget to bring utensils and napkins to your table.
Yum on the burger and short rib sandwich and beer combo! Great festive atmosphere for the holidays and delicious food. Excellent service too!
Went for dinner after the NYC Auto show. Cozy atmosphere. A lot of interesting beers on tap. Good food.
In for Happy Hr.Was enjoyable.
Super crowded for a Yankees playoff game, otherwise all good. Beer selection was great. Didnt eat anything so no idea on the food.
Worst waiter of all time. Rude and unprofessional
A beautiful bar serving a small menu of bar food. The place is much larger and nicer than one would think. The food portions though are smaller than 9ne would expect. Almost kids menu size. The burger was good though. But this is really a place for drinks as the bar here is practically a mile long. High ceilings and a pretty recent construction as everything is in tip top shape.
Love the girl bartender shes so nice & cool
We went here because the burger specialty place across the street had a long wait, and the burger here was very good. Same with the fries. The bartender was a bit too overbearing as it felt like he was dictating the pace at which we were drinking beers. Atmosphere was ok. Your usual NYC sports bar / pub type feel.
Great vibes and the friendliest staff. They also have one of the best happy hour deals on the West side! Highly recommend for larger groups or just to go grab a drink with a friend. Their wings are also the best. I love coming here every time. They also have about 20 TVs and will put anything you’d like to watch if you just ask (if it’s not already playing)!
Biggest issue with this bar was the female bartender. A group of us from work went for drinks after an event so further celebrate. A friend asked her for margarita and was told they don’t do margaritas, however they had given someone else in our a group a margarita. So he had to basically go again and ask for it. After the second time they gave it to him. He also tried to get her attention by raising his hand and she proceeded to give him attitude and stated she doesn’t like people waving at her. Then when they were closing we were gathering our stuff, and while we were in the way, she pushed through and stated move out of the way I don’t care. She gave us a big attitude. Truth be told it was a bit threatening. I was the only female in the group and I felt like she was very disrespectful to my entire group.I don’t know if she did this because someone in my group had an issue with a random customer who basically came up to all of us and was trying to demand us to pay his bill. Regardless, it doesn’t mean that we owed that treatment.Especially considering I attempted to assist with all our glasses by providing it to them and we tried to leave before they closed so we wouldn’t create further delays for themThe other bartender gave us perfect service without any issues. He took our order, provided it rapidly and nothing more.I definitely wouldn’t recommend to go here with your friends or coworkers for a good time unless you are okay with receiving attitude/threatening demeanor from the bartender. Please note I don’t give reviews, this is my first review ever. I felt like I had to express our experience and the treatment.
Not a bad tap house, lots on tap and bottle.Came on a Friday night at 630 and was rammed... Cleared out around 8.Food was not bad but also nothing to write a letter about.Service and atmosphere was good.Would definitely recommend if your up for a few crafts before dinner.
Bar hostess was the best. Attentive, funny and mixed good drinkies. Try the Steak Frites, awesome.
Nice food, nice staff, big menu for drinks and beers (but cocktails are not great)
Great beer selection and the staff is very attentive. My favorite thing has to be the lighting!
Organizational after-work get-together. We had the use of a private reception room with a bartender. The service was personable; the bartender remembered your name. Felt like the old TV show felt like the 80s TV show Cheers, ” Where everybody knows your name... overall great experience!
This place was brilliant. NYC energy, elegant and down to earth. Our small plates well exceeded expectations.
We have a few special places that we come to every visit to NY, this is one of them. The food and atmosphere is great!
Food was tasty though appetizer calamari is a pretty small portion for the price. It was fresh and tasty, though. Not a lot of options on the menu but a good selection of beers on tap.
Didnt have food here, just the prociutto bread and drinks. The only bar open at 11 pm near to Times Square! It was good option!
Exceptionally good and friendly service in this place. The beer selection was decent and very well curated. A modest selection but very easy to find several tempting choices. Service seemed to be a team affair. 3 or 4 people looked after me at various stages of my visit. All of the staff clearly liked each other as they were chatting and joking with each other and the regulars my whole visit. 5 stars for the service, unfortunately 3 stars for the food to get to the 4 star average. The chicken sandwich was not what I was expecting at all. The chicken was flattened extremely thinly before being breaded and fried, then folded/layed on the sandwich. I had hoped that the spicy aoli that I was sure was mentioned in the menu would have made it slightly spicy but that wasnt the case. The food was exactly ok. If I visited again I would drink beers, and maybe snack on some sort of simple appetizer but it wouldnt be a place for a real meal. Would certainly visit to drink and for the atmosphere of the staff though!
Absolute garbage service. The place maybe had 2-3 other tables being waited on, and otherwise empty. We waited 20 min for someone to come get a drink order….and yes they knew we were there because they sat us…do not recommend.
Only had one drink there (late) but it was a tasty concoction of gin and some juices; hence the name gin & juice. Bartender Sarah was friendly, and provided me with a free tasting before I ordered. Nice atmosphere, quiet, cozy and not bright. I hear the food is very good. There are upstairs and downstairs levels that unfortunately were closed due to the hour and light crowd, but I plan to go back another time to see those and try the food.
Went in before a concert after passing by on several occasions. We had burgers and shared a Caesar salad. Excellent. Great place to come in for dinner before going to the Garden. Definitely will be back whenever going to MSG..
I went with a colleague for an early lunch. Service was very prompt and attentive. I was impressed by the interesting variety of entree options and ordered the striped bass sandwich. Unfortunately they were out so i substituted the veggie burger. The burger is largely made of beets and was too mushy for my taste. When the bill came they had neglected to remove the fish sandwich but were courteous in doing so.
Great place. Love the beers!!!The food was extremely delicious!!!Prices are very descent compared to the worthy 👍Service was good and informative, ourwaitress guided us with the beers and was very helpful finding our favorite flavor cause were not familiar with the American brands.Very patient and friendly.Gonna be back again for sure next timeIll be in New York!!!!
Standard bar fare but excellent nachos?! Not your typical bar food. I brought my team here and everyone was surprised how decent they were
Awesome pub with lots of delicious beer on tap.
This place was great! Hipster American vibe with dashes of Latin flair thrown in for good effect.Ordered some session IPA that was exactly what it was. Tastey and drikable. Then I got yucca fries to start that were perfect and a beer/burger combo that was on special. The burger brought a tear to my eye. It was something your mom would of made for you in the kitchen on a warm summer evening in a pan. Nothing to fancy but made just right. They even cooked it to the temp that I asked for.Highly recommend and would love to come back!
The place is nice. We came for a dinner, not for drinks, so I cant judge the place as a bar.I got the District Burger. It fine. The staff is very nice, and from other conversations, it sounded like they know their drinks and can suggest very well.
My husband and I checked this out on a Saturday night. We were drawn in by the combination of large TVs with sports playing and delicious sounding small plates. The place wasnt packed, so we easily got a booth in the back. We ordered drinks and a few dishes. It was all pretty good, but I think our favorites were the baby kale and spinach salad, and the grilled salmon. The waitress stopped by frequently, and kept our water refilled, which was very nice. We will have to go back to try more things.
Food took TERRIBLY long to get, waited about 55 mins - 1 hr for two orders of tacos after ordering them… they were meh. Bar staff seems friendly but expect to be ignored, you have to order through them if you’re sitting in the front portion of the restaurant and they have plenty going on already. I was also standing there for around 5-8 mins trying to awkwardly order a drink when the manager came over and yelled at the two bartenders for “not spreading out enough” meaning they were both on the far end of the bar, serving customers who were waiting to order, which apparently is an issue. Just overall bad experience… music was blaring too… which they coincidentally turned up right as we were seated. It’s expensive and please just take my advice and skip this place:/
Overall, our food was delicious (guava barbeque wings) and beer selection was decent. Staff was a bit slow serving but, generally speaking, pretty good. That is with one exception... the guy working the bar on 12/31/2022 at about 630p... he was the rudest D-bag Ive ever come across at a bar! As far as Im aware, the person at the bar with money is known as a CUSTOMER! You know, the people who by buying from your establishment results in you receiving a pay check. This poor excuse of a bar tender spent about 5 minutes stocking the limes, lemons, etc. while I stood there waiting to order the above mentioned wings. Surprisingly, I had somewhere to be on NYE in NYC! Equally as surprising, the bar was a bit busy but not nearly as much as one might think given the date & location of the bar. As I stared at him for roughly 5 minutes, with the hope of actually being acknowledged, he just kept opening container after container to restock the bar items. Okay, I get it, that needs to be done but unlike a customer, limes and lemos dont contribute to his pay check. So, in such a case, a simple little Ill be right with you resolves the mounting tension but, nope... that was apparently above his pay grade, so instead he says loud enough so most of those at the bar could hear I see you and youre freaking me the F*ck out and treats me like a bother. So, should you choose to go to that bar Id suggest you wait for the guy to finish whatever he needs to finish before you think of looking at him.. or go to another of the hundreds of options available, such as Beer Authority or Haymaker. They have both been GREAT every time Ive been to each!
Great tap house with a varied selection of rotating taps and a decent bottle selection. Barrel aged sour availability needs some work but IPAs seem to be the focus here. Staff are accommodating and intent on finding the right beer for you if you are an aficionado. Food is mostly standard pub fare but well prepared and burgers, as an example, have been consistent with the requested temperature. While I do not live in NYC this is my fourth visit to this establishment and I will definitely be back.
Great service and beer offering, also good music to make the experience even better
I went here with a few coworkers for a quick bite to eat for lunch. We were all extremely happy with the very good food that came out. The bartender was friendly and attentive. I had the grilled chicken sandwich which was delicious. This place is right near the office I will be back soon to try the beer.
Cool place! Meet up friends for drinks and the service was great. Good beers and cocktail drinks!
We were underwhelmed with the service when we visited midday with a group of about a dozen people. Despite the huge size of the establishment and the fact that the place was only a quarter full the hostess seemed annoyed in seating us. When we sat a second waitress repeatedly ignored calls to get her attention for additional drinks. When we finally got her attention she also seemed annoyed with our orders. Management would be wise to reinforce basic elements of customer service with staff.
Nice bar atmosphere but with good food and service. The goat cheese croquettes were my fav! Our server, Alyssa, was so great and so on it!
Hey. Honest. Some friends own this place. And I cant get Heineken. But great staff and awesome pub grub. A little higher priced. But oh my! Worth it. In an area that is hurting pretty so due to covid. Well worth the time and cost.
Great beer selection. Mostly small plate options. Wide variety of good choices. Absolutely worth visiting if you are looking for a break from typical pub fare, but still want the same atmosphere. Slightly upscale feel but still casual. Definitely would recommend.
Fantastic atmosphere for dining in or grabbing a few drinks after work. Amazing selection of beers on tap and bottles/cans to choose from. Incredibly bold and delicious cocktails, as well as some draft cocktails that are aged in casks to enhance flavor! The waitress, Natasha, was very patient when I asked question after question. She also recommended some of the most incredible dishes on the menu. My wife and I will certainly be returning to District tap house on our future NYC visits.
Pretty good place for happy hour drinks. The staffs are friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Atmosphere was pretty chill and laid back. Cocktails are excellent and well balanced of different flavors in a drink. Overall great place for to bring coworkers.
Bacon wrapped dates and grilled tuna are completely worth the visit. Beer selection is fantastic!
Fresh made foodFriendly staffsBeautiful interior designI will be back again
Went for lunch on a Monday and got there when they opened so it was not busy at all. Good menu and friendly service. Bacon-wrapped dates appetizer was very tasty! Quinoa salad was just ok. My dining companion had the burger which they thought was really good.
Nice looking place in fashion district but only 2 other people in on a sat. should have taken as a sign. beer selection very good. but brunch menu horrible. nothing of good old fashion bar food except the burger. that was okay but nothing to really to say anything but average. wife had chicken sandwich with guacamole and there was hardly any on the sandwich. they also have nothing on the salad except oil? no other dressing? really? food avg. get a new menu. not flattering at all. and duck fat fries are over played. 15 dollar burger with more options at a chain or a touist trap. redo the menu. the food is hurting you.
We were looking for a place to get a quick bite before a show. Not only did they immediately accomidate a walk in party of 4, they turned us around extremely quickly. Beyond that, the food was delicious, well proportioned, fresh, and reasonably priced. Their beer selection was amazing. Thank you so much.
We stopped here for a quick appetizer and really enjoyed our experience. This car had a ton of beer options on draft, as well as move food menu selections. The staff is very friendly and the bar is conveniently located near the theatres. It was a great place to grab a snack and walk a few blocks to see a show.
Fantastic location. I had one cocktail, which I considered to the standard of the Time Square area.Great menu, had the Hummus and brown butter plate along with the Lamb meatballs. The meatballs were phenomenal and the hummus was great.Would come back. Would reccomend.
Phenomenal taps! Tons of local beer to enjoy. We tried to get dinner here around 5PM on a Saturday and were faced with an hour wait... so came back after our show around 11PM for drinks and there were plenty of open seats at the bar. So glad we returned!
Lots of choices! Huge list of beer and spirits. This place had a chill and sophisticated feel. Not a typical dive bar but not too snobby. There were several bartenders working so drinks never went dry. Again, huge inventory of beer and spirits.
Loved the place. Took the cheeseburger with bacon - tender and juicy, the bun was fresh. The space is pretty big with fun atmosphere and comfortable seats. Happy hour is like a party! The bar is great with lots of drinks on the menu.Recommend 5/5!
Went with a large group (we had a reservation) and had a great time. Good food, great drinks, excellent staff. A really nice spot in an otherwise weird part of town.
The service was really poor, they took about 20 minutes to bring us some fries and almost kicked us out as soon as we said we didn’t wanna order anything else. On top of that, the guy that charged us was super rude.
The food is excellent. We had the short rib putenesca and lamb tagine. Both were hot and well prepared. The food came very quickly. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. It is however very loud. The night we went, the restaraunt was very busy. The host actually came over and asked the couple sitting next to us if they could leave since there was a reservation waiting for the table. Needless to say, this was not well received. It turned into quite a show after several more attempts to ask the couple to leave.
Nice bar with a nice selection of American beers, great servers. Thanks to the owner for agreeing to broadcast our match 😁 Go #Redgiants !
Rudest bartender I have met. Our group of 8 walked in and the first greeting was: we’re closed (it was a 8pm on a saturday) and when we asked if we can order drinks, the response was: absolutely not, I dont want to make them. Will never visit again
Had the burger, asked for the bacon extra-crispy. Bacon came out very undercooked (if it had been in a breakfast buffet tray at the Quality Inn, I would have rejected it in favor of the stale bagels). The patty, and I really dont know how else to say this, smelled like it had been warmed up between a sweaty mans thighs. I couldnt eat it, but nobody asked why. The fries were good though. There were no really interesting beers, and what was there was extremely overpriced, though there are a few happy hour beers that were reasonably priced.
Good food good beer great service be sure to visit if you are in the area
Simply put, this is your best bet for craft beer in the neighborhood. The tap list is extensive, although the better value is often found in the massive can and bottle list, which contains quite a few local gems, as well as offerings from around the country. The food here is solid, a tad overpriced for what it is, but it wont be a bad accompaniment to your beers. If you dig sports, most booths have their own TV inside.
I like the place! It is really nice and the service it is great! I love the beer 🍺 and the food is so good, totally recommend. Also you can enjoy the happy hour 4-7 pm
We just wanted drinks, there was no space at the bar, we where offered a table which was great.
Really nice place, with a very large selection of beers and other alcohols. Came here to drink with a few people and was thought it was a very good place. Did not eat here but I would definitely comeback to try it out. Big happy hour crowd, would definitely come back
Standard nyc bar. grabbed here to get a bet after work. they have happy hour, most weekdays till 7.
Despite previous raves on the bacon wrapped dates, I found them not so good; tasted like bacon. Octopus was good. Brussels sprouts are very good. Great atmosphere, but totally packed.
Amazing selection of beers on tap. They dont have a lot of traditional choices like Guiness but the staff is really knowledgeable and will happily suggest an alternative. The food is also excellent and they have a ton of TVs for sports etc. All in all this place has everything you want from a bar.
Very good small plates. The bacon wrapped dates were unique and delicious. We enjoyed ordering a variety of dishes, all of which were very good, carefully prepared. The service was great.
Bartender with the tattoo is the worst. She thinks she’s too good to be here. Waited for 5 min before she looked over and there was 5 people at the bar.Wake up!!10/1/2022
They have a huge variety of beer, great place to have drinks after work. The guava barbecue chicken wings were amazing!
They could have started cooking the food in 1746 B.C. and still not be done with it. This restaurant is a waiting simulator good luck trying the food
Good atmosphere and great service at our 7 person high top table.
Great pub with good food. A bit pricey but its a level up from ordinary pub. Burger was amazingly done and definitely recommend it to anyone. They have an extensive selection of local and international beer
What is this? A steak for ants? The entrees are comically small. My wife and I split an appetizer and took longer eating that than the two entrees we each ordered. Get a burger. The burger looked good. Also everything we ate was delicious, just snack sized.
Good food, excellent service. If you have dietary restrictions this is likely not the place for you. Good spot to meet up with friends and coworkers after work to commiserate over a beverage or two and to share in good handhelds.
The service here is top-notch, the drinks are STRONG and food is terrific! We went before a Billy Joel concert at MSG (really busy) and the staff didnt skip a beat while attending to alot of really demanding customers!!!
I came here back in February during NYC Beer Week (also my 1st trip to NY). My husband and I had been walking around on an adventure all day and we were starving. As luck would have it, we couldnt locate the restaurant we were mapping and it started drizzling when we spotted District Tap House. It was late afternoon and not packed at all. I imagine we came in between their rush hours of lunch and dinner because it was filling up fast by the time we left. They actually sat us in a nice booth in the far back, instead of the cluttered tables up front. The trip downstairs to the restroom was also a fun little adventure. But on to the good stuff!First, I would like to take the time to acknowledge the staffs professional presence. I had a new girl training, but that did not effect her promptness and knowledge. The only mistake she made was that she let us order the Szechaun Pepper hot wings without a warning LOL! Apparently these are only available during Beer Week so we figured why the hell not?? Beer and wings is never a bad choice. These wings, however, were about 9 out of 10 HOT HOT HOT! We werent about to sissy out so we asked for some blue cheese (apparently not stocked in this restaurant) but they did go out of their way to get us some ranch instead to cool it down. The bartender at the main bar came over and introduced himself and apologized for the wings - normally they give an honest warning but the new girl was not aware since it is only a Beer Week menu item). Like i said, no biggie, but the attention to us was appreciated. We also ordered the goat cheese croquettes and duck fat fries. The croquettes were delicious and fried perfectly. We are from Miami so it takes a lot to give a croquette a stamp of approval. The accompanying pepper honey sauce only made them more delectable. Duck fat fries - I mean what is there to say?? DUCK.FAT.FRIES = party in your mouth! Finally, the beer selection is what will bring me back. They have an extensive list of beers to choose from, a lot being locally sourced, which I love even more. The aforementioned bartender did an amazing job of suggesting our next beers to try after our 1st round order. This was probably my favorite dining experience while in New York. It was upscale but not overpriced or pretentious. The food hooked us in and the staff sealed the deal. Cannot wait to come back next year and start a tradition with the hubby! Thanks for the great memories guys!
Beer selection is top notch. Almost paralyzing but really great. Food was pretty good. It’s a great central spot with lots of space but it can be busy after work so plan accordingly.
Went to this place in the aftermath of covid in May 2021. On a Friday night there were about 4 people. I remember seeing 400 people at this place on a 2019 summer evening. Such is the effect of the pandemic. The bar is still cool though.
Great selection of craft beers from all over the states and further afield
The seared ahi was delicious. The service was attentive and she was able to knowledgably guide me through the menu. The brussel sprouts were wayyy too sweet, even after I asked for them to be made without Maple syrup. Overall a delightful place
My food was decent and the beer OK. The service could be better but it did the trick before going to MSG.
Dang what a beer selection. Lots of taps across a great many styles with a focus on the hoppy stuff. Pretty great selection of local cans as well, some stuff thats typically hard to get your hands on as well. Prices were mostly pretty reasonable, a few solid deals and a couple extra pricey items but with craft beer thats tough to avoid.Inside is actually pretty surprising, it feels a lot like a penn station/times square Irish Pub but with a craft beer bar tap list. I dont love the absolute ubiquity of televisions, not everyone needs a monitor right in the booth with them, seemingly without the ability to turn off or change the channel. I need to remember to bring a usb-c to hdmi cable next time so i can connect my phone.Lastly the food- pretty good! My party and I had a bunch of small plates and pretty much liked everything. The salmon was a liiiiiittle bland but everything else I had was really tasty. Anyway, big fan. Will probably be my go-to rec for friends and family visiting the times squaria.
Brought some friends from out of town and we all had amazing food. We ordered the burger, wings, and chicken sandwich which were all delicious. Friendly staff.
We really enjoyed the food here. I had the Short Rib plate that was excellent. My wife, who is difficult to please, like her entree as well and told me the fries were great.
Nice bar with affordable prices and good service
Great selection of beer on tap and in cans- they even had Heady Topper.
Great beer list. Great food. Be careful if youre expecting large plates though because its technically tapas so expect to spend some money if you want to fill up!
Food and service were excellent.
Consistently one of the best (at times THE best) craft beer selections in NYC. Upscale bar food menu (especially the grass-fed burger or duck fat fries) will not disappoint you nor overwhelm the true focus of DTH - the drinks.
Amazing beer and cider selection, great service. Cant speak for the food, but it looked good from what we saw. A gem in an otherwise desolate part of town.
A dimly lit shining star of peace and good times in the heart of midtown bustle! We were well fed, the beer menu is deep, friendly in da neighborhood staff!5 stars Nick...I would revisit.
Excellent beer and decor. I tried the food and while not terrible was only okay.Maybe I made a bad choice of selection. Overall a good experience though.
Came here because it was near our hotel after we had a long flight. Place was lively, with lots of people. Did not have a res and literally got the last table in the back which was perfect for us (on a Tuesday around 9 pm). Wanted to share a couple things and call it a night. We split the meatballs and chicken sandwich. The meatballs were fantastic with the crusty bread slices. The chicken sandwich was not what we were expecting...almost like a deli sandwich with thick sliced deli chicken. It was served on a bun but did not hold well togther. Service was great and it was a nice light meal to close our night out with!
Great beer selection, but heavy on the IPAs for drafts. Food is good. I recommend the mac & cheese and the ribs. Lots of space so would probably good for large groups.
Great and fresh beer options, fast service, fair food taste, and options, enough space for a whole crew or for just one at the bar. High prices.
Stopped in for drinks. Nice atmosphere. Would stop back to try the food another time.
This is a top notch brew pub! Ive never been to a restaurant with such an encyclopedic selection of beers. If you like beer, theres no doubt youll find something youve never tried before.
Great place for happy hour!!! Cucumber gimlet always gets me here!!! Pizza is amazing and service is very entertaining and friendly!!I always meet my NYC vendor here and it’s always an experience!!
Good beers from local breweries. Quite expensive if you also order food.
Had a private event at the back bar. Nice place, great service and good choice of drinks. Food was not great, but edible.
Great beer selection, good food, some kind of sport on the TVs, cant complain about anything here. Do yourself a favour and drop in.
The attendents and the pub itself were really nice. My problem was that I went for the superbowl with a prepaid reservation for a party and yhe guys organizing were incompetent and rude.
Absolutely worst place to go to. Spent over $300 and was told to leave our table without any warning. Was told by the MANAGER we had to leave. I attempted to talk to the manager about how upset we were being suddenly told we had to leave and he was so inconsiderate and would not ever make eye contact work me when speaking to me and walked away I was trying to speak with him. I have been to many nice bars in the city and we often spent a lot of money in different places and this was by far the worst experience of all my ten years of living in Manhattan.
Food and service were both stellar! The Brussel sprouts were so delicious, I would go back just for them!
Always a fun spot with good beer choices. Bartenders could pay a little more attention to people waiting. Lac wasn’t hat packed and took 15 min to get my first drink. Maybe adding another bartender would help.
Even though we didnt have a reservation they were able to seat us for a quick drink and appetizer before the show.
So many beers so little time! The beer selection in this var is UNEQUALED!!! My sister, a stout addict had fun trying all the different stouts they had on tap. Foid is great too!!
The food is good but also not what I expected. I ordered chicken tacos and what I got were like if a French chef had never had tacos before and had to make them. They werent bad just ....interesting. Friendly wait staff
Bartenders were very friendly (solid banter) and the space was spacious. Helps that they follow with protocols. Would definitely go again.
The only things good here are the bacon wrapped date and the burrata. As a party of 8, our server didnt tell us the apps were small in size.Ive never had a more colorless and tasteless wing in my life.Flatbread for $12 that wouldnt satisfy a small childs hunger.Dirty glasses.Sliders that pass for burgers - also tasteless.Perhaps an off night, but i wont be returning to find out.
Awesome location with an energetic vibe, great beer selection and delicious tapas! Go ahead and feed your inner cravings here! Busy scene with lots of patrons here celebrating something with plenty of enthusiasm!
First time in New York and my daughter and I happened upon this place. The atmosphere was friendly and very classy. The food was eclectic and delicious. The bartender offered great service and the doorman was very diligent about the clientele. He even went so far as to turn away a group that was obviously inebriated. Fantastic place that seemed very popular with the locals.
Fantastic beer selection! Had several chats with the waitress about the menu, and recommendations. It all ties in nicely together. Ate the duck there and as someone who is used to French cuisine, it was damn good. Ill be drinking and dining again here, hopefully soon!
Great selection of drafts artisanal beer and a great ambiance ! A must go to in NYC ! Friendly service with smiles !
Fantastic place in Midtown with a surprisingly upscale menu. Huge draft beer selection. There is a separate bar at the back that you can reserve for private parties. Bathrooms are in the basement.
Great beer choices and good food. Waitress was on another planet though hope she got home safe.
Love this spot for a casual night out with friends. Great selection of craft beers and delicious pub fare. The burgers are a must-try!
This is so much more than just a bar. Yes the are like 50 beers on tap as well as probably double that available in bottles, so if your a beer person is a great place for you. But its so much more. They offer an upscale dining experience as well. The food is a tapas style. Everything that my table of 6 had was excellent. The bacon wrapped dates were particularly good as was the goat cheese croquette. I also had the lamb sliders. They were choices just right with a slaw on them that just made it delicious. We had natasha as our waitress. She was both knowledgable and helpful that just made it an amazing experience. Reservations suggested for sure.
So many beers! Wonderful selection and a pleasant surprise since we found it by chance. TVs mounted at the bar makes for a great time for games (or the election) and quite reasonably priced.
Great Happy Hour for drinks and apps. Goat cheese croquettes and warm hummus are great
Great beer selection. Good cocktails. Good place to watch a game. Food is solidly prepared but this is not a destination for foodies.
One of the best beer bars in the city. The other I favorite is Draught 55.Always a great rotating tap list. Awesome tapas style plates.
Nice little eatery and bar, went during the day both now and two years ago. You have to try the brussel sprouts
Great food, the beer selection was very good. Paul, our server, was an awesome guy. Definitely worth a visit.
Great dinner menu, especially when you have a shoe to get to! Servers were readily available and attentive (our water glasses were never empty!)
Great atmosphere, very good food and great craft beer selection!
Beer is great. The hummus tastes like mashed potatoes. Burger was 8 out of 10
Service was absolutely great! Everyone pitching in to help with service! The pizza was hot and fast but not much taste. Great place though!
Coll bar with really great bartender 👌
GREAT beer selection, very impressed.... Ambiance is textbook worthy. Food was also on point. Would absolutely come back. Cheers!
Last time i went the drinks were still on point but the food was kinda blah. My friend told me that district social which is actually. The owners other bar is better for eating at.
Cool venue with a decent happy hour. Place looks kind of speakeasy esq. very long bar allows for lots of people to cozy up. Hidden parlor in the back is for private parties
Very nice staff and well priced food. Alchoholic drinks kinda pricey (thats everywhere in the city tho) but non alcoholic drinks are good and well priced if thats your thing
Bartenders down to earth good loving humans. Take care of them they take care of you. Full send
Staff were pleasant. Atmosphere was dark, and music a bit too loud to not have to shout, what did you say?Food was great. Steak cooked perfectly, medium rare. Definitely will be coming back.
Bartender Oliver is amazing. 👍
Great neighborhood bar that always has a good crowd. Check out the small back bar with Eric, the bartender. Always a good time and good food with a varied menu.
Epic beer selection, food was fantastic, service was very good (we went on xmas eve and pretty much had the place to ourselves).
A pretty good selection of beer for the area. Close enough to Penn Station to be convenient for those traveling, but far enough away to be acceptable!
Came here for great draft options but was quite happy with the food (vegetarian (which I’m not but my friend is), spinach kale salad, falafel, and Brussels sprouts all delicious)
I had a great salad and the parmeasean fries were good too. The service was great even considering the waiter was in training. Great atmosphere, clean space, and the rest of the table was happy with their orders (burgers and duck tacos). Menu is a but limited but we all found something we were happy with!
Food is excellent ( bacon wrapped dates, grass-fed burgers). Good selection of beers i like the selection of sours. Service is good
The entree and appetizers were Fantastic! Terrible service!!! They add gratuity for 5 people and its not listed anywhere. Didnt come back to check on you if u need anything.
I love this place from the day it opened! Great beer selection and great cocktails. The bartenders and staff are knowledgeable and super friendly. This place is perfect for large parties (make a reservation though), can accommodate private events easilyThe food is good as well. Duck fat fries, and goat cheese croquettes are my to go small bites.Cheers!
Great food, small plates are great for sharing. Beer selection is overwhelming but great. One of the best places we have eaten in NY
Dang good Porter draft and good quality food. Usually the two dont go together but it did here. Great funny bartender. Nice place to feel at home.
Great place in NYC for drinks, went for happy hour, service was great and drinks are well served. Atmosphere is great.
Enormous selection of beer with attentive staff. Definitely gets busy at happy hour but thats a good thing.
Heard from a friend that this place would have some good beers and I wasnt disappointed. Great selection of beers and the staff was very nice and service minded.
Went there for drinks with my friends. They have an unbelievable beer selection. Could spend all night there trying different beers and not get bored of it
Nice atmosphere, the service is very good. The food is excellent. Nice place to hang out.
Solid sports bar. Good beer selections. Wish food was better.
Amazing selection of every beer you can imagine. Great variety with apps. Maybe best in the area Ive seen
Good selection of beers. Tasty food. Good pizzas. Friendly, attentive service.
The brussel sprouts are FIRE!!!! The food is great and the vibes are 10/10!
Nothing special. Good beer selection on bottle. Very ordinary watering hole filled with B&T crowd either just off the LIRR/NJT or waiting to get on it.
Wonderful beer selection amazing staff.
Leya was an amazing bartender. Knows her beers and very personable and approachable. Good conversation and amazing experience all around.
Came for drinks and dinner
