Been coming here forever and last night was our best night by far. Deeza went above and beyond for our table and her service was absolutely phenomenal. We can’t thank Deeza enough for such a great night!!!!
Food okay. Drinks are good service was great.
I really appreciated the excellent service Deeza offered my friends and I. I have been here several times and she had stand out energy. She was very attentive and I observed her being warm and accommodating to all the patrons around me. She is a star! I ordered fries, a mint hookah and a fresh mint lemonade and all were perfect. Deeza is the gem of the Luxor Lounge ask for her!
Nice little after work spot for drinks and hookah. The bartender was so down to earth & cool.
Drink was watered down.Place looks run down.Menu says $20 they charge $22 because of tax for a fish bowl thats tiny af.They took $4 tipWould have I gave her $4 no because her service wasnt great anyway I got two broken straws and no napkins.
One of the best bars in the city. The bartenders are amazing, smart, fun, cool and the space is so chill and intimate but also such a calm and dope vibe. The music is dope and the drink specials are dope too. Definitely going to start being a regular spot for me.
Always a good time. If you like hookah this is your place. The Chicken fingers are on point also. The Bartenders are great as well. The music is good and you wont be disappointed. Chill vibes.
Server overcharged us, after discussing over the check bodyguard threatened us violently horrible service
This place is undefeated! Ask for the skittles shot and thank me later 😉
The lady that was serving us was one of the rudest people I ever met. Didn’t look up once and was short tempered and nasty. We asked if she had a beer and she just said no looking down and we couldn’t really hear. And then she got mad and said we only have what is listed behind me. And the beer I wanted was listed behind her. We got up and left because she was so rude. There was a gentleman there that came out after us to check on us and apologize for her behavior that was really nice. We still ended up leaving cuz she sucks.
I want flavor, love, and vibrancy in my hookah. However, my hookah here was rather pathetic, sloppy, and harsh. Elmo would probably make a better hookah, and he would do it with pride.
THANK YOU TO MARIAH for her amazing service. Very helpful, very attentive, very professional and from what she told me it was her 2nd day.Now the young lady training her....... she was not any of these things. Her tone was very condescending, which shouldnt have been the case since i was in no way rude or disrespectful towards her, i was actually sitting and waiting for roughly 20 minutes before she even came over to me. The words out of her mouth were Did you want a menu? Now i totally understand wanting to train the new server but you can train and be attentive to the establishment at the same time.So after a short back and forth with her and having to deal with her unwelcoming and condescending tone about seeing me come and and walk to the bar (i walked in and went to the bathroom first) and then a comment about well why didnt you come say you wanted to sit at a table (I was standing by the table i wanted to sit at for about 5 minutes and not once did she look up from her training to see if any new patrons walked in or to see if the guy she saw go by the bar had sat at the bar or any place else. So i just sat down)I guess she didnt want to deal with me anymore so she sent Mariah over, which Im very glad that she did. Mariah was a complete 180 in personality and service. Thank you again.
Ehh I gotta say it wasnt the best experience but it was somewhat what I was looking for which is why we went in. We were kind of looking for a quiet bar where we could get a few drinks. The sign said 4 shots for $10 so we went. I liked the size, the set up, and the ambiance of the place. However, the shots were served in these small plastic cups that look like they belong on top of a Pepto Bismal bottle. I thought that was really cheap and unprofessional. The place was quiet and although I loved the set up the furniture needed cleaning. They had a couch that looked like they found it on the curb and brought it inside. Most of the furniture looked this way. Even though the shots were cheap it was pretty expensive considering what we paid for which was smaller than a shot glass. Ill keep looking.
Someone should definitely consider investigating this place. The bartender (owner?) seemed like she was on something. Not only did she profusely question me on the validity of my ID (I’m certain I am 24 years old) but she actually came to my table at one point and picked up the drink that she sold me and said “I don’t remember selling this to you” as if I had gotten another patron to buy it for me. After correcting her she gave me the drink back. At that point I was astonished and fully intended to not tip her only to find out she had included a hefty automatic gratuity charge onto my check. What a strange woman. I recommend nobody goes here.
The racial discrimination that we experienced at this establishment was appalling. We were forced to provide payment before I was able to have my credit card and New York State Drivers License returned to me. When we first ordered, we were told to provide them a card and a form of identification for it to be placed on hold. I had no problem with that request. When we were ready to leave ,the waitress refused to give me back my credit card and New York State Drivers License until after we paid. We informed her that we were paying with alternative forms of payment and I repeatedly requested my ID and credit card to be returned to me. She still refused to return my Drivers License and credit card. I have never been so insulted in my life and have never heard or seen anything like this before. I’m not sure if this had to do with race but it’s a very disgusting tactic and I’m sure it was because we were three African American women. I will never go back to this establishment again. The liquor was watered down and the hookah subpar. To be treated as a potential thief for a $70.00 bill with no real evidence or facts besides the color of your skin is atrocious. I also will be reporting this establishment to the Better Business Bureau.
If I could give 0 stars I would. My friends and I (about 8 of us) were here last night having a few rounds of drinks. We were consistently ordering and spending money. However, a big party came in and the rude bartender actually asked us to give our table to the big party without offering us any other seating arrangements, so we were left just standing around awkwardly. I couldn’t believe it as we were still ordering and having a nice time. Not a good way to treat paying customers—will never go back.
First off ain’t no freaking way a sampler which is 2 tenders, 2 mozzarella sticks, fries and I believe 4 piece of chicken and Hookah all came up to $96. You are bugging the hell out! The atmosphere was definitely a vibe but Brittney sure as hell won’t be coming back ✌🏽
Always come here staff is great treat u like family, music is great, never really had to wait on drinks fast service.
$3 for water, $25 for hookah, and they added 25% gratuity and only checked on us once. The $10 for 4 shots deal is for 4 half-ounce shots of lime juice. We came here because it looked kinda trashy and we like that, but this was trashy for the price of fine dining. Major rip-off. Meal for two ended up being $86 with gratuity.
This is one of the best paces I have been in NYC for hookah. The service is fast and friendly. Being near a prestigious university, NYU, makes it a perfect place to hangout. Their hookah is one of the best and smoothest hookah I have ever smoked (mind you I have been making hookah myself for quite some time). They use a cooling pipe-like thing which makes the smoke cool and much more refreshing rather than harsh. Also, the music is always popping in this place. Definitely recommend to hookah lovers or any new comers to NYC who are looking for a place with good vibes to hang out!
I had a wonderful experience. The bartenders are so nice and helpful
Absolutely terrible service. 20% gratuity already included, so when our server completely forgot that we ordered food, she made no effort to make it right. As long as you know the servers have no incentive to do a good job, it is exactly the grimy underwhelming hookah bar that you’d expect to find on MacDougal Street =)
I feel like Im at home everytime I visit Luxor Lounge. Every staff member knows me by name and treats me like Im part of the family. The prices are amazing and the cocktails are strong and tasty. If you get a chance to visit I promise it will be a good night.
This establishment is the most run down hookah shop I’ve ever seen. Decided to give it a try after seeing the 4 shots for 10 dollars, regretted it the second I walked in. The short hair heavier sided waiter held our ID’s and when walked away was bending it more than their automatic gratuity percentage (25%). She ended up breaking it and did not want to pay the difference for it after asking for it then tried to say it was fake. Never even got that back. Mind you the second we walked in there was a roach going down the stairs. DO NOT COME.
Comedian show was lit , I love it. Very funny people.
You know youre in for a thing when the bouncer tells you to watch your stuff. This place is run down and shabby and Im sure the only thing giving it business is local university freshman with fake IDs. Theres a $10 minimum per person per table. If you like hookah this place might be to your liking but if you wanna talk to friends its loud and cramped in an uncomfortable way. Also dont know why its called a restaurant. I wouldnt trust any of the food here.
MAKE SURE THEY RETURN YOUR ID & DEBT /CREDIT CARD BEFORE YOU LEAVE. OR YOULL END UP LIKE ME, ALL THE WAY HOME WITH NO ID AND NO CARD. we paid in cash and, she never came back with the card. It had not dawned on me until i arrived home. If we arent opening a tab, why take a card? And no, they did not do this to everyone.
Had a great shisha experience with Luxor Lounge 👍
Visited this place plenty of times over the past five years, and it’s a decent little spot. Questionable at times, but super convenient. It is very dark in there, there is some space in between tables but not too much, so if you’re expecting maximal distance from the table next to yours, not the spot for you.Music is typically R&B, Rap, Hip-Hop, and Top Hits, so if that isn’t your style, wouldn’t recommend it.Prices are great though. They have a great deal on shots. After a night out of drinking, this place is convenient to have. Usually would go from Off the Wagon to here.If in the area, and in the mood for Hookah would definitely stop by.
The worst place ever! Went here with friends while visiting NYC and the customer service was the worst. They sat us under a AC that they knew was dripping water. It spilled on us 3 times and after the first time we notified them and they said they would handle it, never came. The second time it happen they moved the cup over and didnt move us. The third time the whole cup fell on us full of water. Never again
I highly recommend this business.Their customer service is second to none. Best bartender in town
The place is really upheld by the service of the staff. Michelle, Leah, Dawn Ive been a regular for the past 6 months always friendly. Hookah is a good price, drinks are okay.
Everyone that works here are great but it’s tobacco-free hookahgot the strawberry mint fishbowl but it didn’t really have alcohol in it either 🤷🏽♀️
I will give one star to this place. As we were leaving out the doorman/bouncer as seen in the picture along with his friend ran a scam outside. As i was taking my car out, he came and said that i bumped the car. Even though i knew i didnt, i still gave my insurance card to claim. But He started demanding money and punched me in the face. All he wanted is $50 cash from me. Tried to scare me. Once i called the cops and started recording he ran away inside.Owner should fire this guy right away. It must be captured in the surveillance video.Definitely avoid this bar and this doorman for sure.
Unimpressed with the quality of hookah and the service was equally disappointing
Though it seems cheap with the drinks specials, the menus can be somewhat misleading as to what is on special. Otherwise a great place. People are friendly and helpful. It is a little bit of a dive but that is the give they are going for.
Best wine place.
Very expensive, when compared to the price it even more expensive, almost can’t taste the hookah flavor. This place automatically charges you 20% tip no matter how many of your company (even 1person) never going back to this place again, and i would not recommend this place 100%
Wasnt comfortable at all. Staff did not wear mask. Matter of fact, No One wore a mask. It appeared to be one way in and one way out. Go at your own risk... God forbid A TRAGEDY WAITING TO HAPPEN...JOY
Food drinks great service great atmosphere very relaxed. Staff is very comforting you always feel welcome or right at home.
Figured we would start here in this bar I didnt expect much from a hookah bar was kind of odd haveing to give them my debit card before we even sat down really cant beat $25 to smoke but they have a one drink minimum per person and make sure your getting beer because its the only thing they dont water down you can get 4 shots for $10 here but its house liquor which is expected but how watered down the drinks were made it horrible but they really dont bother you after that which is a plus the place wasnt all that packed so it was very easy to hang out with a group of people
I had a very pleasant experience the vibe inside is really nice the waiters are very attentive the hookah is great and the drinks are great I highly recommend the spot
The food sucked, but I loved the atmosphere. Friendly staff. Cheap drinks. Might take some co workers there.
My go to place for smoking hookah. Great atmosphere, nice music, very good service. Always like to stop there when I’m in the area!
The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the special offer on shots – four shots for just $12. This deal not only made the night more affordable but also added an extra layer of excitement as my friends and I got to sample a variety of flavors. The bartenders were friendly. The addition of hookah added a unique touch to the overall experience
Great place loved my service, nice place to chill out if you dont wanna be to over the top. And drinks and hookah is very well priced
Affordable, nice staff and great location. Food is also amazing. ( get the wings)!!!!
They let a little boy inside who was claiming to sell tickets for a basketball team which couldve been very dangerous for him
I had a corporate event here. Great people. Leela helped us put so much. It was hectic but she was able to make things easy. I would say if you have a corporate event do it here it’s chill and a good time
The bartenders are great! Cheap drinks and hookah prices relative to the rest if the city and that area!
Best spot on mcdougal good drinks food and music all in one
Amazing hookahs, best churros I’ve ever had and the fries are good. 10/10 would recommend.
While the hookah is good, the service is horrible. If service matters, this wont be the place for you. ID and credit cards were asked for discriminalatively.
Love this place, wonderful experience. Staff is above and beyond just the friendliest nicest coolest people, highly recommended for any occasion, beautiful space awesome drinks nice music great prices best vibes. Would leave 6 stars if I could.. they definitely deserve it!!
Great hookah lounge! Cozy atmosphere and friendly staff.
Perfectly 💯
Jewel is amazing. She made the 4 for 12 so fun. Food was great and the vibes and hookah are so good.
Music selection was terrible, no hookah refills so you have to pay for an entire new hookah every time
The people are nice and its cheap, but the quality is just not anywhere to be found in this place.Seats are burnt with charcoal all over the place, the hookah is small and it tastes bad, the place is unkempt and rundown and the drinks arent good. Not recommended.
DO NOT BUY ANY DRINKS FROM THIS PLACE. Highly diluted cocktails. Hookah is decent
Very Friendly Staff. Thank You Michell For everything. That drink was well needed.
Absolutely LOVE how cozy this experience was! The bartenders showed too much love and the prices are unbelievable. Love love loveeee
The service overcharged us, after discussing over the check with the lady bartender, she and her friend threatened us violently horrible service. We felt really bad. She called her self the supervisor of the place, There was not present the administrator of the place, the lady bartender treated us really bad. So sorry for this.
Watered drinks. 0 customer service . Useless place. Hookah place but worst hookah is served here.
I have been to this hookah a few times. The staff is considerate and customer-oriented. A fair price is charged for drinks. So, after a hectic Friday, its a great place to relax. Surely, I recommend it.
Charge me wrong twice!! Check your bill if you come here. Plus mandatory 20% tip???? Why???
The bartenders are amazing, always have had a great experience here, especially Jewel, Leela and Olga. Wonderful people
Laid back spot too small though but best thing is that we chilled with our NY brothers!
I always have a good time when I come here. Good service and reasonable prices.
Beautiful place for birthday party or get together with friends💯
Perfect for happy hour
Spend a few hours there, and as someone who loves a good hookah session, I must say that the lounge was amazing! A mind-blowing selection of flavors as well as the quality of the shisha, was top-notch. So, if youre looking for a great spot to unwind and indulge in some quality shisha, this is the place to be!
Cozy lounge with great hookah flavors and attentive staff. Perfect for a relaxing night out. Highly recommended.
The best Bar in west 4th
By far the best Hookah Bar in NYC. The pharaoh Hookah its the best.
Fun bar, we had a great time here!! Theres 4 shots for $12 which is a good deal
They force a 20% gratuity and charge $3 per water - weaaaaaakkkk sauce 👎👎👎
Everything is great, save for just one thing: the Hookah.Staff are highly courteous and accommodating, the seating is extra comfy, and the cocktails are wonderfully flavorful with an incredible below-average price point. The only problem is the hookah itself: the kind of hookah they serve is practically flavorless. Add to that the fact that the price is $30 a pop before tax and gratuity. So the math really doesn’t add up on that one.Other than that, however, no complaints at all. My recommendation; come here for dinner and drinks before moving on to the East Village for Hookah.
Mandatory tip isnt cool. Other than that, I liked the atmosphere and pricing.
Cozy place to warm up in one of the coldest night in the city. However nothing special about it hooka is mediocre, Moroccan green tea probs the worse i have ever had. Definitely will not come here again. Service is good but we are the only people here (Xmas Eve) so not sure if it is the same when they are busy.
Watered down cocktails and bland hookah. Never ever coming back.
This was a gem in disguise, no lie!! Best hookah in the city!! The wings were delicious, and the vibe was nice.
Quiet little place good music n they have finger foods
For more, check out on IG@frank_behind_the_lensIts decent. Very very small. If youre looking for a place with room, this is not it. If you dont like hookah smoke, this is not your place either. Its just a place to jump into for a few cheap shots or drinks. Nothing you would spend a large amount of time in since its so small youre cramped up with people beside you smoking hookahThe drinks are quite strong and reasonably priced. They have a wicked cheap deal for shots. So if youre looking to hit some shots or drink really quick before heading out, or heading home, this is a place for you.Its surrounded by a TON of bars and restaurants so its in a prime location!!
Leela is an amazing bartender!! The best!!!
Great service and great drinks!
Horrible place, there was a roach running under our feet, and they refused to move us even though there was no one there.
Came here one day after work with friends. Like around 7pm ish. There was only one bartender. The hookah was okay. All of the drinks taste like koolaid. I was not impressed. Won’t be back anytime soon.
Its a very small hookah bar. But for the area the prices are amazing. They have shots and jello shot specials 4 for $12 dollars. The only downside is they dont serve food. Luckily artichoke pizza is directly across the street. I cant lie it could use a major interior update, but again for the price you cant beat it. They usually allow customers to play their own music as long as everyone is enjoying it.The servers are very attentive and always friendly. It has been my go to comfy place on a budget for a decade.
Vibes immaculate, prices amazing.
Worst bogus place Ive ever been to. I wish I could give it negative stars.
Great place place, service is quick, our servers name was Miami, funny because thats where we were vacationing to NY from! She treated us amazing! Wouldnt definitely visit again, the body guard at the door was also very kind!
Excellent customer service very nice place to hang and relax
Great hookah and nice priced drinks 🤎
The drinking are not good and they don’t have good customer service
Had a bad experience with the bartender yesterday around 8pm - did not listen to payment instructions, charged a $20 tip fee and customer service was TERRIBLE. Barely was attentive (I know she other customers but the least you can do is listen and serve me properly) . Would not come back.
Helpful service. Decent crowd. Relaxed atmosphere. Hookah price was OK and drinks were not bad. Overall a cheap place to hang out. I would recommend this place for a relaxed evening.
Really nice spot!! Drinks were on point!
This is my favorite place, Mcdougal street. Space is small but, never feels over crowned offering a class dive atmosphere. They a 4 shots for $10 special every day of the week from open to close! The bartenders are amazing; they are kind, professional, and great listeners.
Literally 0 space to sit and they tried to steal TWELVE dollars from my friend and I. I don’t usually drink but my friend insisted we get shots and I only took two as did she. When the check comes, they charged us for 8 shots possibly assuming I was drunk and wasn’t keeping track, like it seems they’ve done to other patrons according to previous reviews. They handled the situation VERY unprofessionally. The manager even went as far as trying to get me to name what shots we ordered and then said ‘I know what shots you had you can’t lie to me because I was the one who made them’ LIKE WHAT????? LOL. I suggested they check their cameras and then she said I was getting hostile when she was trying to gaslight me into thinking I’m drunk and drank more than what I did so she can charge me another 12$. The gratuity was also included which is such a turn off and basically gives off the message that they can treat you however they want and they’ll still get their tips. The manager was disgusting and the server WHISPERED her own version of the story in her ear. Smh. Avoid.
Perfect NYC basement bar with great music selection and better vibes. Shout out to the best bar staff on the strip!!
Fun place to stop by for hookah and drinks. It’s a vibe and customer service was great.
The waitresss and bartenders were really rude. I think they water down their drinks also. I had 4 shots and I wasnt even buzzed. The music was good tho. I like the fake basement cool could-be vibe, Even tho its a Yuppie/ fake WASPY hangout spot.
Service isnt always that good but its a nice little place to hang out. Sit in the smaller room for more privacy and comfort. Hookahs and 5 shots for 10 dollars makes this a good pregame spot.
Nice cozy place to enjoy appetizers, drinks and hookah. Music was great. Service was great. Couldn’t ask for anything better!!!
Better then continental, definitely on the worst place to hangout with friends.
I love it here bouncers are very polite. Waiters clean the tables very fast thats the only thing I dont like, I dare them to take a drink I didnt finish. Other than that its a cool spot all sorts of music, the speakers go in and out sometimes.
10 bucks for 4 shots? uhm YES
Great shots 4 for $10 and fair priced hookah cant beat that combo
Chill spot, good music, diverse, reasonable priced drinks and specials. Drinks are ok but not complaining. Would go again
The service was horrible they overcharged me and my bff, customer service was rude
Ordered hookah and it was badDrinks were okayGood atmosphere
Friendly bartenders. Great shot selection. Laid back and intimate vibes.
Had a great fun here with friends even though its not my type of place. Hookah , music, and drinks where good.
What ever you do DO NOT GO!!!!! It was nasty. I was looking for a nice hookah loung for my friends birthday and I found this place and it was the worst decision Ive made. The tables and Chairs was dirty. I saw a mouse 🐭 ran pass me. The only thing that was okay was the Jell-O shots. Also what my friends and I didnt like was that they dont cook on weekdays, why didnt they say that on the website. Smh. I would not recommend this place to no one. (September 22 2016)
Came here for hookah - good prices and good music!
Love this place, the people are great. Great place to just hide from the world, it’s like a home away from home.
They add a 20% gratuity without telling you stay away!!?
Dingy village hoohak bar. What you would expect for the area, and nothing wrong with that. Its just better for collage kids.
Its a cool little chill hookah spot 4 for 10 shots and drinks are pretty good music good too just my waitress gave me a bad vibe but shes not always there 🙃
I had a good time when I went An someone else suggested this place An didnt even know me Im going today for my birthday
0this place is the worst from the hookah flavors to the watered down drinks the waitress added her tip our bill these pll dont know how to entertain. this has been one of the worst place to go in the w4 area your better off at the comedy club across the way even the one dollar pizza 2 dollar beer is better lol. but seriously this place i
Wanted to take a shower after leaving, but had fun and the drinks were pretty good.
Loved the bartenders there for sure! 4 shots for 10$, cant go wrong with that !
While this place is admittedly a little small, it is also a nice and quaint location for a small group of good friends to kick it on the cheap. $10 for 4 shots. lol
DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!!!!! As many others, my girlfriend and I were drawn to the bold 4 shots for $10 sign plastered above the front door. I had turned 21 the day prior, and my girlfriend took me to NYC to celebrate. NYC, 21, bar hopping, what more can you ask for. So, Thursday May 23rd, we were bar hopping before hitting the comedy cellar. We hit this awesome speakeasy right next door (shout out to the up & up) and when we were done, we immediately turned for the luxor lounge where the bouncer looked at our IDs and let us in. Once seated, the bartender (a short, heavier, dark haired woman) asked us for our IDs and a credit card. While the bar did seem dirty and grimey, we were open minded. As minutes passed, we noticed she had not started to make our drinks but rather she sat on her phone with our IDs in her hand. Ten minutes later, she comes back to us and says have a great night ladies, these IDs are fake in the most condescending voice Ive heard in my entire life. My girlfriend is 25 (a few short months from turning 26), and I still had a vertical license, both of which were our government issued drivers licenses stating that we were indeed legal to drink in the US. After refusing to give them back to us, repeatedly telling us to f-off (yes she actually said those words to us several times), and then grilling us on our addresses (which my girlfriend provided both of ours in one single breath), she then had the audacity to bend them completely in half, throw them at us, and told us to get the f-out of her f-ing bar. My girlfriend told her to call the police and after rolling her eyes to the back of her head, laughing like a 12 year old girl who just saw someone trip in the hallway at school, she said we were more than welcome to call them ourselves and again, to f-off.We spent the next two hours of our night calling the police and filing a police report for damage to personal property. We were going to try to let the situation go, but several other bouncers at the surrounding bars told us to call the 6th Precinct, that within one second of holding our IDs, they knew they were real, and that the woman that worked at Luxor was a complete idiot who had done this to others and she should be fired and held responsible for doing this to another person/s.We have both never been so disrespected in our life. My girlfriend has been a bartender at a TGIFs back home for 3 years and she knows the proper way to check an ID. This ignorant, cocky, and rude bartender repeatedly stated it was within her right to bend our licenses completely in half to check their validity. THIS IS NOT HOW YOU CHECK AN ID! Wiggling it to check its durability and thickness is one thing, bending it in half like youre doing origami is beyond uncalled for, it was deliberate and begs the question Is this girl qualified to work at any bar? We will answer that for you. NO!I hope that nobody ever goes to this bar. Completely ruined our night, and now we have to pay to get our licenses fixed, as the lamination is completely lifted up and they are bent sideways. If I could give this 0 stars, I would.
Love the atmosphere. Great Prices.
This place is a a scam! Is the worst place ever! The cocktails sucked! Tasted like cough syrup and the nachos were just disgusting! Never ever again!
Expensive and gross. There was a short, heavyset bartender in her early 40s working at this place who was beyond rude and seemed to be mentally ill. She was texting on her phone the whole time and started swearing at us when we wanted to leave.
I do not recommend this place at all. I had terrible service, my table was moved twice, and they add a mandatory tip without telling you. Worst place for hookah.
NEVER GO THERE, THEY STEAL YOUR MONEY. They are doing “Robbery” in this place. You had better call police before you go there. The thing that they did to me and my friends is exactly robbery. When we got in the bar there was no sign or anything about paying cash and the woman who is bartender took my Id and debit. Suddenly she putted up a sign which was written on “cash only”. She gave us that the bill was handwritten and never gave the receipt which is totally illegal. They tried to force us using their atm machine for withdrawing. This place was the worst experience I have ever been. And Can someone please tell which place where I can report them for my legal rights?
Felt like high school days. Drinks are okay. Did t have any food. Hard space that smells like smoke.
This place was awful. The service was terrible. We were the only people in there and they decided to tape up their window letting in the freezing air right in front of us. They were unapologetic as we asked for our check to leave. The hookah tasted like coal, as though they over packed it. Nothing good about this place.
Divey Hookah Bar in the middle of West Village on MacDougal Street. Shot specials (4 for $10) Seven days a week. Luxor is my unofficial rally-point for any West Village bar-hopping. 🍺🍸
Great hookah, great staff and strong drinks!
Worst Hookah ever, cocktails tasted like Orange juice! Too expensive, slow service and poor quality food. Never ever going back there! 👎👎
The drinks we great, nice atmosphere.
Got served chicken fingers that smelled like fish.. tasted like it was in the freezer and got frostbite… I sent the food back and still got charged for it. I used to come here a lot but stopped once I seen how they don’t value customers.
Small place but the Dj always plays good music
The hookah was great as well as vibe
4 shots for $10-12👌 nice atmosphere
Worst service ever, only two tables and they couldnt care less
Great place to pre-game .
Very great hookah with amazing charcoal;)
Nice vibes and affordable drinks and hookah
Musics bad and the prices arent great
Great, quiet spot in an excellent location
I’ve never had a better time at a bar in NY. But I’m not a yuppie, so take that into account. If you’re a yuppie, you’ll hate it.
It was very tiny and the bartender was rude
Overcharged and crowded ... 4 shots for ten dollars (10$!) and a hookah for 20$ and empandas for 5$ ... add it up its 35$ they took 20 dollars more than they was supposed to ... didnt find out til I got home .... if I get my money back ill write a better review ... maybe one more star but not worth it
Good place for cheap drinks!
Dont even waste your time.
Avoid at all costs. Lol
Went there for hookah with wife server said 1 drink minimum I agreed then also forced drink on my wife. We left. The place was empty when we entered not surprised
Very small here with no place to sit
Upscale look with out the upscale prices
Great hookah prices
Incredibly shabby, really weak service..
Love this place
Better than sex is 👌
Great Vibes GREAT establishment... BAR TENDERS ARE AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great drink special
Overcharged and horrible service
Horrible and dirty
Best shots for cheap
NO NICOTINE NO TOBACCO IN HOOKAH
Fun!
Blah blah
The staff is cool
Love the service
Too much attitude
Shut this place downnn
Excellent place.
Great place
Cheap drinks
Ot dushi vkusnie kalyani
Extremely expensive place for what it offers, definitely the worst place as an initial option. Dirty, adapted, average service, poor alcohol quality.
