Traveled from DC and decided to get a table for 6 on a Friday night and had an amazing time (first time Ive been to NYC, but my group had gone last year, went to Mission, and hated it).Showed up at around 10:50 PM since you gotta show up by 11, or else they reserve the right to resell the table (which is understandable/typical amongst clubs), and slowly got busier. Music was great! Staff was kind, walked me through using their app, Apollo ID, to order bottles, and even upgraded us over from the mezzanine to VIP later towards the night. They werent pushy on trying to hit a minimum, and I went ahead and got another bottle, since when in Rome...Security was cool too, no complaints. Shout out to Daniel for a fun experience! Will definitely be back again.

Honestly pretty fun. good music, got pretty packed inside. there was a huge line but since we were a big group we got bottles and could skip the line. minimal interaction with the bouncers but they werent overly friendly. overall vibes felt slightly pretentious but still fun.

I don’t understand why anyone would like this place. Maybe the club hype is just beyond me, but this place was horrible, coming from a person who likes to be around loud music and party. A basic tequila lemonade was $16…which of course went down like water and felt like nothing. The place was so packed that everyone’s bodies were up against each others, the vibe felt so stiff and the bouncers and security that separates the dance floors were so incredibly rude for no reason. I understand having to be stern, but there’s no reason to straight up disrespect ppl who paid $20 to get in, and then almost $20 for 1 alc drink. I will truly never come back here. It’s probably better to heavily pregame, come with a squad of friends(not just 1 or 2), and come prepared to throw an elbow. I lost an earring because of how physical it was on the dance floor. What’s the point in having a line outside and making ppl wait to get in if it’s going to be incredibly congested in there anyway? Absolutely not. Goodbye. Tourists and non native NYers can keep this place.

The club was terrible. The music was awful, and the security staff were racist. When my friend was talking to his girlfriend on the dance floor, one of the security guards choked and pushed him to the ground without saying a word. Then, a random staff member came up and started talking trash to my friend without knowing the situation.

The bouncers and staff suck. None of them compromise nor speak with respect to their customers. This was my first time and I had the worst experience ever. One of the girls (I dont recall her name but she was short and tatted - she had glasses) she put her hands on me.. She looked at me with scary agressive eyes and pushed me off the line. Never ever coming back again. If I could rate this place a 0/5 I would. Do better - dont come here, Id recommend a classic bar over this this trashy environment any other day (unless you want to waste 2 hours of your precious life).

Its only the best venue to be if people would be mindful of others around. Im sorry it the truth someone has to speak up about it. Overall its a good place celebrate your birthday. 🎂 🍾 I would only go here if someone invited me otherwise no cause to be honest theres better places to be at than here. Another thing please 🙏🏾 its 2023 we dont live in the past start respecting every individual in the venue so every single person can enjoy the night. Thats my only complaint.

We went in on a Thursday night and it was pretty dead, we still have a great time though. Our group liked the music and the club itself was cool with its own unique vibe. Wish we went in on a Friday or Saturday but nevertheless we had a great time. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for cool spot to drink and dance.

Horrible place. Stood in line for over an hour without even moving. Not sure what they’re trying to do, but it seems like they are trying to make it seem like it’s packed when in reality it’s not. Would not recommend this place at all. Trash establishment.

Terrible place that pretends to be busy by keeping a long line even though the bar is literally empty lol. and the audacity to charge a $20 cover on top. how embarrassing … this was my first and will be my last time here. only redeeming quality is the music

The cocktails names and ingredients sounded promising but both my friend and I did not like how our drinks tasted. I ordered the widow something at the top of the list. It tasted like apple cider vinegar to me. Their DJ played banging music. I def will be back for their music.

Very nice and clear karaoke rooms. We felt very comfortable. Drinks couldve been better but it was ok. Food was good as well. We had a great time!

Here fit a special event. Its definitely more of a club. The drinks were served in plastic and were okay. The space was fine, but you can tell its a late night event hall.

My friend came from Korea and she along with a few others were celebrating her birthday at den social this past Saturday now 18,2023 ! Upon arriving with my other co worker we was told that the door were closed which that’s fine even tho others walked in after us. We decided to leave to go to another venue because she was was not answering her phone calls inside most likely because of the music, we were waiting on the PUBLIC side walk when we were told we have to move ( I am in law enforcement ) no one has to move on a public side walk that’s when one of the security guard revised to threaten us with physical violence the light skin black guy I think my partner has a photo of him we plan to post this guy along with the shorter heavy set Spanish guy is a great liability for this venue! I’m post because in the near future his will cost someone ( partygoer ) great bodily harm!

If you’re not VIP, you’re not getting in. Simple as that. Waited 2 hours to get in because they let VIP in first even though the VIP line is empty for over 10 minutes. They prioritize VIP and those who pay under Apollo ID. If you don’t pay extra, you’re not getting in. Simple as that. If you’re willing to pay more money, go ahead. If you’re not willing to wait 2 hours or even more, I wouldn’t try. Go to some place better that actually allows you to get in with reasonable time.

Rude staff and terribly outdated karaoke system. Not worth it when you have millions other karaoke options in town

This is one of the best clubs in NYC. Not only are they so much fun but the staff is amazing. I lost my phone here and they were more than helpful when it came to helping me get it back. They truly do go above and beyond to make sure their customers are happy. I would definitely recommend coming here with your friends. You will have the time of your life:)

This place was the worst nightclub Ive ever been to. After waiting for 4 hours in line from 10-2 am we were able to get in. Before getting in they were trying to convince us to buy bottle service to get in early. Also they were prioritizing Asian girls in our group to allow in so the ratio was kept at an  acceptable  amount. After getting to the front of the line we were told we needed to split our group in half or we had to go back one spot to let other people in, so we then went in after half of our group. After 10 min in the club we were then kicked out because a random person handed us alcohol in a water bottle and they assumed we were with them. Therefore losing out on our cover fee and spending 10 min in a trash club. Honestly, it was good because we found better spots elsewhere. Recommend anyone who is looking to spend a good night in NYC to AVOID this club.

Wow this place had such a huge line I thought it had to be good. Nope! Cheesy weird edm dubstep versions of old Top 40s pop songs. I came here last weekend and the line was stuck on pause for an hour so I left for Maru instead.I wanted to see what the hype was so I came back this weekend, I waited 2 hours in line in the cold since they basically halt the general line to let in priority people, which is understandable that’s the system. Usually venues who have those lines still allow a flow of general people in at a slower pace but here, it’s straight dead locked if you are not VIP or pay for their app.But the music was tragic, it was beyond me how people were enjoying it. No amount of alcohol could save it. The dance floor had awkward drunk dancing since the DJ had such a weird blend of music. After 2 hours of freezing outside thinking this place MUST be good, I chugged my drink and left in 20 mins.

You are gonna wait. For no reason, you are going to wait and then they randomly charge you $20 in cash. Or you are silly enough to pay extra for a table/bottle service or for their little app to get expedited entry which means you enter while the line forms BUT inside there are only 10 people. When you walk in, it will be empty except for ppl who stupidly paid for a table so they are not even on the regular floor area. This place has real potential. Decent DJ and nice bartenders. For some reason, I waited in line for 1 hour even though I am a (cute) girl with other girls, and the people in front of me were all underdressed boys in polos? They seem to let anyone inside who is east asian (doesn’t matter if they are underdressed….), but you are gonna wait.Then inside… it’s not like a club. It’s a reincarnation of college party culture. The guys go with girls they already want to be with. Little intergroup mingling. Bizarre place and no changes are made to adjust the atmosphere. Next time, don’t wait or waste your money—just sing karaoke. Way better and more fun experience😇

Den Social excels in making clubbing a fun experience! Best night are Thursdays ;) when it comes to choice of DJ, & safety of party goers with wonderful bouncers. (They’re also friendly and open to talk with if you go up to them in the club) Drinks taste good & party wise it’s a good time.When it comes a club experience I try to get in early on dot to get in to avoid longer wait times on line. But in general at Den they will move swiftly as best as possible. Apollo ID is an app used to purchase tickets to Den on a cheaper scale there are different membership options but personally it can still give you a good deal without paying for it monthly to upgrade (tho you do get more perks still) I usually will go on a Thursday.If you can get passed the line wait time if you go later during prime time you will have a great time :)

Went for birthday party. Fun atmosphere. Gets really crowded after 11pm. Linked to a karaoke bar for a nice after party too.

The ignorant bouncer and manager did not let us in because they thought we had a fake ID. We waited in line for over an hour, coming in at opening time. We all had Canadian id’s a d they wouldn’t even let us explain ourselves.

They made us wait an hour and a half in line, didn’t tell us about any cover fee until we were at the door. When we finally got there they said $20 cover fee…. Like…Bouncers also let in groups of men who were willing to pay for 500$ tables, and even encouraged them to scout girls to join them. Though not technically the guy’s faults, it definitely is a weird tactic to make guys pay for a 500$ table AND beg girls in line to join them so they can reach “ratio”. Go here if you want to basically bid your entire bank account to skip the line!

This is a review for the club. We got there at 10:30 to get in. The club was completely empty but they forced us to wait. Their entire business model is to essentially strong arm you into buying a table. After waiting an hour they try and make you download an app and pay 50$ cover to get in.Complete waste of time and a scam. Really shady way to make some money. Literally any club is better.

This is probably the worst club I’ve been to in NYC. Do not go here.We got a table and the security was terrible - specifically it was the worst out of any club I’ve been to. They would let random people come to our table even after we complained. If it ended there I wouldn’t even bother leaving a review but it gets worse! Some random girls poured alcohol on a bartender and security accused two of our friends of doing it. That was literally not possible since they just got there and weren’t even holding drinks. It’s not like the truth mattered to them though since they saw “an asian girl wearing a leather jacket pour drinks”. There were literally over 10 random asian girls we didn’t know wearing leather jackets that were around our table even after we asked security to get them to leave since they kept on trying to drink the alcohol we bought (the security didn’t care or do anything).They basically told us we were too drunk and lying and that their bartender could not possible have identified the wrong asian girl out of the entire club full of asian girls. Absolutely terrible and I have never felt so disrespected in my life.Go to Maru or Mission. This club is like that weird relative who thinks they are a god among men but don’t know how to treat people with a basic level of respect. I would give them 0 stars if that was possible. They somehow managed to find that perfect level of racism and condescension that everyone loves for a night out.

As others have said, the club itself is fine but the employees and bouncers are so rude and trashy that it overwhelms any other decent night there. Kind of funny because the employees are clearly not the smartest and you see them often taking it out on customers because of their own insecurities (if you are that old and working at a club in Ktown, yikes - life has gone very wrong).

My favorite dance lounge/club in nyc! great music and crowd. really long wait for ga so recommend going early (before 10:30) or getting a table via apollo id

If youve been to any of the other Duet locations this one lives up to the same standards. Large music selection, reasonable prices, courteous staff.The rooms at this Duet are a little fancier and it has a cleaner feel to it. While you have to pay for the room rather than by person, it turns out to be cheaper if you fill the room.There are also fancy self service kiosks so you never have to miss a song going out to the bar or struggle trying to talk on the phone while your friends are letting loose with their death metal screams.

It’s a popping club so there will be lines and you will be kicked out if you’re throwing up, falling asleep, causing a scene. Reserve a table and don’t do the things above and it’ll be a good time. Karaoke downstairs when you need a breather.

I wouldnt recommend getting a table here.I reserved a table for my girlfriends birthday, which costed ~$1,000 for a three bottle minimum for 15 people, however when our party showed up, the bouncers ushered us to the side and made us all wait until the entire line got in before letting our party inside. We would have gotten into the club faster waiting in line. Not sure why they took us out from the line only to make us wait, it was embarrassing.Additionally, I wanted to do some extra things for my girlfriends birthday so when I asked what they could do the only thing they offered was to put her name on the projector. However, when we got to the club they said that was not possible. They also said that we werent allowed to bring in a cake, but the table next to us had brought a cake.Also just a general FYI - they dont use sparklers, just flashing light sticks lol

Do not trust the good things you hear about this place on tiktok - even if you arrive when doors open on the dot you will wait for 2+ hours if youre not VIP. After your 2+ hour wait you also have to pay $20 cash at the door to get in. not worth it in any capacity

Good for a drink. Its spacious which is pretty nice especially on a weekend. Good ambience, average food, decent drinks. Needs more servers on weekends hard to get another order in. Sometimes they ask for cover which I think is nonsense, but other than that decent lounge.

Poorly organized. Waited for 2 hours (until almost 2am) and none of the bouncers or workers had answers to any of our questions when we told them our friend had a table. They were unfriendly and unwelcoming - vibes were off. Would not recommend.

Not so good but I thank the bouncer who didn’t waste my time. Found out I did have reservations under a party but my feet already hurt from two hours wait with new shoes from hurricanes. 1000 dollar just to spend inside a bar is almost insane. Makes me not have a good impression of Asian Americans at all.

We were in a group of 8 and were told $20 upfront fee and show ID. We get towards the front of the line about to enter and all of a sudden the bouncer tells us we have to buy a bottle worth $500 to get in. We ended up not going in because of this horrible business practice trying to hustle people. Do not come here.

Had a great time, will come back.clean, well managed and not overly crowded..unlike lounges of similar crowd a few blocks down. best feature of the venue is the event space—large, multi-level, and plentiful tables for bottle service.

This best lounge I been to. The employees are very nice and humble and friendly... The food is delicious and the price for the drinks are reasonable ..the music is great. They do require a mask but definitely recommend it to friends and family .

This place sure knows how to do a good scam. When I went they made it seem like women HAD TO pay 35 dollars so that we didn’t have to wait outside even though there was no line and it was empty inside. Then our guy friends only paid 20 and got in right away because again… no line. Girls paying more than guys?? That sure is new to me…. We got a “free drink ticket” but if you have to pay more to enter then guys then the maths not mathing and that drink is not “free”.ALSO the staff were RUDE. My friend got yelled at by someone who worked there who was over reacting like crazy and the door girls had attitudes for no reason.Music was just alright.

If you plan to get a table here, do yourself a favor and go to another club. Rude staff and shady business tactics.

Terrible bouncers. You need to pay for a table or a bottle to get in automatically so be expected to pay for cover and bottle fee. Not to mention bouncers have no leniency and tell you to either stay or leave if you try to vouch for two more people to get inside.Dont come here unless you want to wait an hour or pay a ridiculous amount for a under average club experience.

Terrible experience. All good reviews must be paid for by management. Security guards think they are guarding the gates of heaven, and are rude all night. Tried to speak with the manager on multiple occasions regarding consistent disrespectful treatment, and he was immature and threw a temper tantrum every time we tried to rationally speak with him. At one point, he quite literally said Im done with you and walked away from the conversation. If that doesnt reek of childishness, I dont know what does. We spent $1.5k+ on a table and were treated like garbage. If you dont want to waste your time, do not go here. Den Social is where unfulfilled, entitled men (with something to prove) go to die.

If you’re not VIP you’re not getting in. Be prepared to wait for 2-3 hours. The venue itself is mostly tables and not a lot of space for general admission. Maybe if I wasn’t so poor I’d be VIP and be inside by 11pm and not 1:30AM :,).

Den Social is a great place to grab drinks, listen to good music and meet good people. Thursdays are more laid back, while fri/sat are full on club mode. The staff is super nice, and the venue is sleek and clean. Also, if you get tired of upstairs and need a breather, you can grab a karaoke room right downstairs!

If you are planning to have a good time, dont bother coming here. Theres better places to spend in NYC on a weekend night. The long line outside masquerades the poor service and vibe inside.

Avoid this place…. Unless you pay for VIP or know a promoter… you will be waiting on the general admission line only to be denied. They will approach you and ask if you want to upgrade to VIP which is $50 admission instead of $20… if you ask another person they’ll tell you the place is full and you need to pay $100 admission… be careful who you talk… seriously. Everyone tells you something different if you’re on the general admission line. And if you ask to be upgraded they ask for your whole party and check to see how everyone is dressed to determine if they want to let you in or not

Great lounge and bar during daytime and evenings, do not recommend for clubbing. Have been a couple times, if you come here during evening hours after work, super roomy and pretty place, very sociable vibes, and drinks are also very reasonably priced, and well made, would give 5 stars for their bar experience!However, on 1 day, part way into night, they kicked everyone out around 10pm, since they wanted to turn the place into a club. As soon as that happened, wanted us to pay a $20 cover to come back inside. Considering it feels more like a pretty lounge and bar, trying to be a club, than an actual club, dont feel its worth $20, when there are many other equally great venues that can be entered in for free, without covers. As a club, lines are ridiculously long, not because inside is necessarily packed, but more wanting to make it look vibrant. As a club, Id say its like a 2 star experience, Id come back, but would say its much better as an evening after work lounge to socialize for catch up!

Waited 2 hours in line and realized the only reason we were moving up was because people in front of us were leaving.there’s two lines, if you’re not in the VIP line, you’re not getting in….the interior is not too big too, only worth it if you like to be irresponsible with money and buy tables.

I would put a minus 10,000!!!!!!!. This place just accuse of a person for something that they haven’t done just to kick people out. No evidence or clarification. Just to invite their “friends”. This was a public humiliation. My friend is hurt and upset. I am thinking about filling a lawsuit for public humiliation. If you don’t want to be humiliated, avoid this place AT ALL CAUSE!! I WARN YOU!! Their bouncer and managers clearly don’t know what they are doing.

Had such a great time here! All the workers are so kind. Also highly recommend the karaoke rooms downstairs. The best in the city.

Needless long wait. They like to make people wait hrs when the lounge is empty inside. So it has the facade how fun it is. The lounge is small inside the vip table area is tiny. Dance floor is tiny.

The Den Social is a club that focuses more on exclusivity than a quality experience.Let’s show the positives. The music selection is impressive, the dj was able expertly mix up all sorts of songs for hype or nostalgia, with some K-pop bangers. The bartenders were quite nice and tried their best for service.Okay now here’s the bad part. The Den has a membership system that is articulated poorly. Without this membership you would be waiting for around 2+hrs minimum. After waiting for said wait time, you’ll be inside into one of the tightest fitting clubs in NYC. There is absolutely not enough room to dance or vibe properly because 80% of the club is members only. The other 20% is packed with various groups of people who will naturally push you into the corner.There are many better clubs in nyc that are worth waiting for or atleast give you a better service.Also the staff outside the door are very unpleasant.TL;DR: Pretentious club focusing on exclusivity, good music, small space, and good luck getting in.

We waited for over two hours in line, and even after getting to the front, they kept letting in reservations ahead of us. I explained to them my friends and I are healthcare workers and just needed to unwind and they were very dismissive. While in line, they also kept promoting downloading an app (only available on iphone). Judging on how aggressively they promote it, theres definitely a catch (taking your personal information and getting you to pay for a $50 fee). Overall, dont go if you have an android device or if you dont want your personal information taken via the app, otherwise youll never get in despite waiting to the front of the line. ***Beware of the good reviews, they sound fake, which is in line with their shady business tactics.***

Stood in line for 2hrs and they just wont let us in. They let in at least 50 other ppl. We were in front of the line and still waited for at least an hour. They wont even respond to us when we ask them when they will allow us in.

New bar that just opened up in Midtown. Easy to get to after work and the Happy Hour specials are well priced. Def would come back for few drinks after work and weekends. The highball drink is a must try at this place. Also have separate karaoke lounge on the lower level just in case you get the itch to sing some tunes.

Came here for karaoke with two friends. Super snazzy and new Duet karaoke brand, with uniquely decorated stylish rooms, cool bar, extremely friendly servers and bar tenders, and excellent song catalogue. All the latest kpop, jpop, English songs, etc. extremely affordable pricing, it’s almost unreal. Get here before everyone discovers how great it is!!(We only went to the downstairs private karaoke area, not the ground level public lounge/bar)

Its literally the saving grace in NYC these days. The days of nice clubs have gone away and the aura of a great lounge is confused. Den Social does it right and I would recommend anyone go there for an amazing vibe!

Security will kick you out for no reason. Go to a different club.

A very happening club on the weekends, and a chill lounge during the week. Its the go to Asian club these days away from the main streams.

This is one of the stupidest places I have ever been. They only keep girls in, while some guys just skip the line and enter, eventho they dont have the stamp and this was past midnight. No customer service

Compact with a decent layout. Bartending staff are efficient and very polite. Plenty of bathrooms.

Great ambiemce great drinks. Great business great space me but they couldnt get coat check right. And werent very helpful when they messed up the tickets. Otherwise, 5 star.

Great drinks... try the Toki Highball!! Chill bar with good music and vibes every time. Definitely a place to experience...

Management was very disrespectful to us. A super disappointing experience - there are better clubs in the area. Would definitely avoid.

When I went to New York for 2-3 days, it was a must.It’s a club mainly frequented by Asians, often locals from New York.• At entry, you must present a passport to prove that you are 21 years old, identity documents do not seem to be accepted.• Admission costs $20 cash only.The music is generally good, but it depends on the DJ. Nightclubs in the United States 🇺🇸 are really different from those in France 🇫🇷: people dance less or seem more shy.I went there with a friend, and each time, we had a blast because we met really nice people.
