This place is amazing for a casual hangout with some delightful drink and fantastic food. I loved their Big Plate Nachos and chicken wings. The service is great.

Excellent friendly bar / diner. Couldnt fault it, waitress was great, good range of beers and food was tasty and filling.

Awesome ambiance, you cant help but to feel relaxed in the place! Food is ok and drinks are strong, our waitress was really nice.

Great beer selection. We sat downstairs and there was definitely an off smell. If we didnt have a ton of time and werent planning on eating so we put up with it, but had we been eating we would have asked to be seated upstairs. Ive been there before and not had this issue, and their buffalo mac and cheese is awesome, so I will try them again

Located in Hells Kitchen this craft beer bar has over 100 beers. Just had drinks at the bar. Have yet had the food. The bartender is always smiling and always makes splendid drinks - great service. Never any complaints when I come here. Excellent happy hour--until 8pm!

Had a very good time here. Good beer and whiskey selection. Attentive staff. Location perfect, between midtown and hells kitchen with plenty of Broadway shows and even times square in walking distance. No wait and plenty of room every time we went.

One of the things I love about this place is that the folks who work here remember my tastes. When I came in for the second time, the first thing bartender Elizabeth asked me was if I wanted a McKenzie. She hadnt seen me in 2 weeks! The third time I went in, she remembered my drink and food order from the week before! I became a regular there on Sunday nights for quite some time. I went vegan and no longer drink, so I dont hang out there any longer, but I will say this: I have many wonderful memories there. The staff is top notch and the food and drinks are fantastic.

The lower bar and restaurant was such a great hide away from the busy crowds in time square. Lovely servers. Tried some new local beer and delicious food. Seemed like it could be a local spot. Small and not crowded on our visit.

First time attending this bar was Superbowl Sunday. The sound system upstairs did not work in the area we sat. It took 45-60 minutes to get cold appetizer. Management did not offer discounts on slow service or bad sound system. The only reason did not get 1 star is because the server kept the beers flowing and even with horrible conditions she kept a smile on her face and apologized for the situation. I would visit again because they did have a good beer selection.

House of Brews is one of those spots! If your a regular you are remembered and loved. If you are a first-timer you are welcomed and loved. Its a great place for good craft beer, food and an enthusiastic crowd. Check them out for fair prices in this great midtown establishment.

Decent selection of beers, friendly waitress, we only ate starters from the menu but it was plenty for our British appetites and we enjoyed the food- piping hot, not greasy. 2 mins from local theatres for shows like Wicked, Once on this island which was perfect for pre show drinks, even in heavy rain. Visited twice in a week, would go again if in NY.

House of Brews is a nice joint if youre looking for someplace to grab a beer. The brews are average but the atmosphere is nice and welcoming. There is a small darts room in the upstairs back room area. Always a great way to get the blood flowing with a little friendly competition.

This is a great place to grab drinks with coworkers or meet out for a night on the town. The dark wood throughout the place gives it a warm inviting feel and the great selection of drinks are perfect for whatever libation you crave. They also serve some bar food but I didnt partake. Its conveniently located to so many main avenues in midtown its a wonder its not more packed after 6p.

Thrillist and House of Brews website tout over 100 beers!, but the current list has 70 (including mass produced garbage like Bud & Coors).Of course, whats on the list and what they actually have are apparently a different story.Finally got lucky with the 3rd draft I ordered - they actually had it available!You must wait to be seated, but the hostess was far too busy with her phone to be bothered with trivialities like doing her job...Even though the place is dead, the waitress became visibly upset by me sitting at a booth. Bad attitude + poor/slow service = crappy tip.Googling up the interwebs, you get the impression that this place is all about the beer.DONT BE FOOLED.My waitress became even more upset that I didnt want to order food. Havent seen her since, sitting here now with a long empty glass - growing more and more tempted to just get up and leave. I doubt anybody would ever notice.How sad.I cant speak to the food, but the large lunch party at the next table certainly arent impressed.

Best burger in NYC so far ! Great place, great service !! And just an amazing burger. They have big selection of beers, both local and international and the overall experience is awesome. Must visit when in the city.

I like this place a lot, its got 2 floors, and the people who work there are very friendly. I went there for a speed dating event hosted by NY Minute Dating. It was on the second floor toward the back. I thought the space was great and the bartender was quick to make delicious drinks.

Standard sports bar with plenty of great drafts on tap. Staff is very friendly! They have an ample menu of bar fare and their trivia nights are very popular.

Great beer and food selection. The best food option to get is the three plate combo for $40. Definitely beats getting the individual menu items as they are the typically high Manhattan prices. The bartender was extremely kind and did a great job. Attentive and got our drinks right away.

Go upstairs! The girls who work up there are absolutely hysterical and fun to hang with. Their food is delicious. The price is on point for midtown. Great find and cant wait to go back on my next trip.

Came after seeing Lobby Hero in March 2018. We took the stairs to the second floor and were seated no problem, despite not making a reservation for our party of three and it being a Saturday night. I wish I tried more of the beers, but theres a good mix of Belgian beers. I tried some New York native beers.

First time coming here and right off the bat there was this nasty smell when we entered and it didn’t go away the whole time we were there. Our beers had a weird taste to them and the food was over priced.Kelly was our waitress she was really nice and friendly although she did mess up our order of wings .

Near Ormond beach, we found this little gem of a place that serves remarkably good beers. They have darts, table tennis and bunch of board games for guests to indulge in besides beers. They dont serve food however, there is a food truck outside from where you can order food and bring it in the pub. Food truck keeps changing.

Love this place. They always have sporting events like UFC. And they also have a great selection of beer and amazing food. Not to mention the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. This is my go to spot!

Not completely upscale but a great bar nonetheless. Happy hour was priced well and it wasn’t too crowded, nice place to stop in before a show or while waiting for a friend.

Watered down, tiny shots of spirits. $5 kamikaze is like dole concentrate. Sparse international beer choices. Small place, and if you dont sit at the bar, wait staff will let you collect dust. Great job! Go somewhere else unless youre local.

Ummm ... 100 brews are not present unless you count individual liquor bottles as brews. I counted 45 on the menu. Atmosphere during world series was raucous due to 10 TVs and over-amplified audio system. Im spoiled by my local bar at home, but this isnt some place Ill head back to.

Decent selection of beer, somewhat pricey for the size of the pour. Self service at the bar by the hour I arrived, so it was a bit slow going even though it wasnt crowded.

Pretty good food and views, parking situation is different and paying with a big group was a bit difficult it seemed. If I go back Ill adjust my review as its my first time.

Visiting from Scotland and enjoying having a beer in this pub, its local as were only living above the pub and pretty relaxed and friendly aswell in comparison to other nearby bars, prefer to sit at the bar as being from Scotland we arent used to having to wait to be served drinks at the table, so much easier just to get them from the bar

The Boozy Bacon Skewers are amazing! Thick chunks of bacon with a sake/ginger sauce and scallions!!!! Great appetizer!!!

1st time here and it was great experience! We went for drinks after work for a friends birthday & it worked out nice. Josh was our bartender and I probabaly wont go back unless hes working lol. Professional, friendly, and attentive. Ordered the chicken and waffle, if you like Sriracha I 100% recommend! The photo doesnt do justice. Will for sure be going back.

Went here New Years Eve for a open bar which was awesome. Great place with seating and two bars. Also there are darts boards and a skeet ball machine up stairs.

We had a fantastic bartender. They had some interesting seasonal selections on tap, which we enjoyed, as well as some solid traditional options. The food was also fast and delicious. Perfectly fried pickles are hard to find! Large portions were perfect for sharing. Cant wait to visit again.

Loved the upstairs (the downstairs didnt smell too good). The staff was wonderful, the environment and atmosphere was perfect -- clean and attention paid to the design of it (rich dark bar and comfortable booths and chairs) -- it has a cozier and cooler atmosphere than youd expect from the outside. Plenty of TVs for the watching. Beers were great, food was good, not great but we werent there for the food. We were there for the sports bar and TVs and it did not disappoint.

Pretty chill spot went there for Wrestlmania and felt right at home.

Im not usually a fan of bars, however, I really liked this place. Especially for how close it is to Times Sq. If your looking to get a good drink in a nice atmosphere. Highly recommend this places. I particularly liked the upstairs. Staff was super cool.

Food was good. My only problem was a member of my group made 1130 reservations for us before a 2pm show. We did arrive early . There were 14 of us. We had to wait a bit for food and drinks. Our server was nice but I think she could have used a bit of help knowing a large group was coming.

Run-of-the-mill bar food (but passable if thats what you want). Service is fine. Beer selection is mediocre for a place billing itself as a beer bar and extremely overpriced. I can find a six-pack of some of these for the same price theyre charging for one. They charge $14 for a pint can of Barrier Money, which I love but isnt hard to find and normally goes for no more than $9. Plus it was a 6-month-old can, so why am I paying through the nose for old stock? Will do my best to never come back here again.

Awesome bar with amazing Mac! I enjoyed this little fun spot. Had some great food and cute decor. Plenty of seating and lively atmosphere and of course the mac and cheese was super good! I came here twice in one visit and will be back next time Im in town.

Pretty tasty burger, nice selection of brews... I was pleased to be offered pear cider. Seated right away as a party of 2 when no other surrounding place had room, or required reservations... Restroom wasnt a tiny matchbox either. Pleasant server.

This place has a pretty good bar food menu of burgers, pizza, wraps, salads, appetizers and even soup. The craft beer menu is good, and has many local beers. The service is okay, but not good. It takes about 25-30 minutes to get any food---including soup. The refills on drinks, including alcohol, are infrequent. So, youll spend tourist prices for average food and average service.

Come here every April for my fantasy baseball draft. They always accommodate us very well. Nice selection of brews and the food is above average for a NYC pub.

Nice bar to grab some beers and grub after work. Its big.. if you cant find a seat to your liking downstairs, they have an upstairs bar as well with restrooms on both floors. I like it because I can sit at a table without feeling like I have to order food. The draft beer selection is pretty good and the prices are decent. They have hardly hour specials through 7pm. I have enjoyed the sliders, pretzel bites and quesadillas but didnt dig the fried zucchini. Like most bars, theres a decent amount of TVs. Bathrooms were pretty clean as well.

Ordering take out was nice and easy. Mac n cheese was really yummy. Poppers, hush puppies, and chicken tenders were all very good. Totally hit the spot.

Its a good quick place to go if youre staying in the area. Not packed with hipsters. A good break from the trendy. Good food, good price.

This places sells a large amount of locally produced beer from micro and craft breweries. The interior is comfortable enough however it was a bit steep on the price side for what you get. The staff here were really nice though and a real attribute to the establishment.

Lots of beer options along with many food choices. You definitely get enough food! I suggest the 3 app combo for $33 platter that is perfect for sharing as a meal for 2 people.

There is a wonderful collection of beer -- draft and bottle. The burgers are yummy. And the wait staff is friendly.There is a small outside seating area which I enjoy on nice cool nights.

Anastasia, the bartender was great. The service was wonderful and the food was good. Very friendly place filled with locals.

Had a gathering where several people showed up, more than a booth could accommodate and the place gave us a back room. Had a delicious gin combo that I fail to remember the name of, but two other people ordered it after tasting mine.

The new menu is amazing great choices and spunky descriptions with just a tad of humor. The drink choices of beers are all great and different. The atmosphere is friendly enough for someone in their 20s of someone in their 50s.

Cocktails are overpriced and poorly made. The brews are fairly cheap and the vibe is exactly as expected. The bartenders are the friendly, saving grace of this place.

Its also perfect if you want to dine at ippudo right across the street as they always have a waiting for nearly an hour. You can always start drinks at house of brews and then go on for dinner at ippudo :)

Best place to get a burger in Midtown before 4pm. Order the Beer and burger special for only $10.00 dlls. I took 1 star off from the rating because they used to have the Best french fries and they changed to an OK ones.

Went there with my wife to grab a snack and a brew...ended up ordering 4 different appetizers, several glasses of wine for my wife and many beers for me! So we reserved for New Years Eve instead of standing out in the cold at Time Square. Staff is hospitable and the ambient...well, come and see for yourself!

Stopped in here on my birthday, April 7th, while heading back to the Port Authority bus terminal. It was fairly quiet. Wife and I wanted a bite to eat before our return home to NH. Service was friendly and the craft beer was great! I got the chicken bacon ranch flatbread - (I don’t remember what my wife got). But I have to say it was probably the best chicken bacon ranch flatbread I’ve had. The food was absolutely fantastic. It was a bit pricey but frankly it’s NYC and I expected it. I would definitely return if we make it back to the city at some point.

One of two in HK, this one may get you a little further from the theatre crowd. As the name indicates - an array of beer is most certainly available here. The venue has boasted an all-you-can-drink mimosa brunch previously, and they delivered from what I remember, but you made trade off that pitcher of OJ-ish champs for a packed house elsewhere. Grab a bit if youre hungry ... but lets be honest, thats not what they named the house after.

Over charged me by $5 with no remediation. Not very good customer service. Food was ok, but influenced by how much they pissed me off with overcharging me.

We sat outside good place for a drink or two....the server CJ took a good care of us. Thank you CJ!

I generally avoid Midtown at all cost, but The House of Brews, which I and a coworker stumbled upon one night, offers a great selection of brews on any given night! Keep an eye out for the Bourbon County. Also, the veggie burger is surprisingly good.

Service was awful, no one came to check on my food until after I was finished. The food was tasteless at best. The margaritas were weak. I requested a manager because the waitress was incompetent and the manager turned out to be the same. WOULD NOT recommend coming here.

Fruit flies all over the place, which means sanitation and cleaness are off the plate, my food came extremely over cooked and cold, beer was warm and flat, and bartender shared issues and information I dont need to know, neither want to hear!!! Wouldnt recommend to anyone I know and definitely not coming back!!!
