Amazing place , really nice atmosphere, people over 30 , excellent drinks . And the piano guy really really make the note !

Total dive tiki bar with decent drinks. Enjoyed the atmosphere. They had a perfectly irreverent piano guy on my visit. Totally fun. But unexpected was the burger. A true fizznucking medium and like something make at home. Delicious.

This is a midtown must!The piano is popping every night. The crowd is such a great mix and not pretentious at all. The details throughout the space are so fun.Super kind and amazing staff from Maria our server to the GM Miriam (who fills the room with a contagious, comforting, joyful and warm energy)!!It’s impossible to feel unwelcome here.Make a reservation and go… lines have already begun.This spot is about to pop off.

The place is cute, good happy hour, but the food so bad it’s not even worth. The queso was just heated up Velveeta cheese and the pork in the tacos did not taste fresh at all. Stick to the drinks.

Zero stars if I could. Reached out in August about a birthday in November which was ‘confirmed’ by email but never got the Resy notification they said would come. I had to follow up several times with email and phone calls before they told me that it was double booked and could not accommodate us after saying we were booked. The way they tried to handle it was awful and they could not offer us an explanation as to why. Do not try to book any event here.

The manager and security guard of this place talk rudely. If you have eaten and paid the bill, they do not let you sit. If you cannot order anything else, then you should leave from here. They say this and drive everyone away.And after they not showing his face in front of of cameras.So its my request don’t go this place . Thank you

This is simply a piano bar calling itself tiki. There was no tiki music, just dumb contemporary stuff being played and seventies just from the piano player. Drinks were pretty avg too. Not good tiki fair with fancy drinkware. You can have fun here, but if you are looking for a true tiki bar experience go elsewhere (like Paradise Lost)

The best bar on Broadway! A classy but unpretentious spot to hang both pre- and post-show. Great vibes, great music, awesome staff, strong martinis, and an excellent happy hour too. Run, don’t walk!

What a fun and delightful gem of a bar in the middle of Hells Kitchen! Do you love a Tiki Bar? Duh. Do you love a piano bar? Duh. Combine those things together? Absolutely. Great drinks, immaculate vibes, singing, dancing, sing a long, friendly & helpful staff, this place has it all! Bring your friends, co-workers, your mom, her friends, have a birthday party, come before or after a show, just come, drink, dance and be merry! The only thing that would make this place better would be a grilled hotdog on the menu, but nobodys perfect. Pull out your best colorful outfit and enjoy a night out with the great folks at Friki Tiki! And dont forget to get a picture with their signature pink neon sign, encouraging you to live your best life!

Had an awesome time. Me and my wifes first time and I couldnt have complained. Music and atmosphere very chill and relaxing. Love it would definitely come back for more.

One out of a handful establishments in NYC you gotta visit, they just opened and its my favorite place to go on Fridays, great live music🎼, Donnie youre the best🎙, decent drinks price and the appetizers are delicious. I consider myself a connoisseur of tiki bars, and this place gets high marks. It was a Tuesday, so I didn’t expect much but the underground made it feel like a well-kept secret. There was a piano player, and the place was bustling with fun and activity. There’s a fantastic selection of rums and classic tiki drinks, plus excellent tiki glasses. The bartenders are top notch, and the drinks are delicious. Highly recommend!

Fun vibes on a Saturday night with a piano player taking requests. Drinks were around $15 each. Gaston the bartender was helpful and friendly. Our group of seven got in without reservations around 8.

The service here is wonderful, all the bartenders are attentive and make pretty good drinks. They even had music on the night I went, live music with requests on the piano, cool tiki island vibe, somewhat hidden and dimmer lit.

The Tiki is the best place to hang near the theater district. Its proximity to the best shows is second to none. And youll often spot a Broadway star at the bar or at the piano after the curtain comes down.

Very cute new Tiki cave — an island oasis in the chaos Times Square. Drinks were yummy with a lot of tiki classics. The staff was super friendly and attentive. Come for the vibes and stay for the rest!

Really cute hidden gem. Our waiter was amazing and the pianist/ singer was so good. The snacks they had were reasonably priced and yummy. The cocktails run about $16 each which for this year is actually reasonably. Will return for sure!

This is a bar in the basement in midtown (9th Av, 44 st). The chicken is nice and it is relatively spacious.

I have come here a few times. A few times during the summer, last I was here for my birthday, back in August and had so much fun. I went back on Friday and most of the people seemed new and didnt know how to do anything. Definitely disappointed 😞

The service was outstanding. Overall its a strange place. But really nice staff.

Enjoyed it when I came before, tonight the staff made me give up my seat after I sat down and ordered although I had asked if it was okay to sit prior to sitting (there was no sign saying the spot was reserved) Prob best to make a reservation if you’d like to go

The line was out the door and a real fun crowd. The guy playing the piano was Donnie Kehr and kept the place hopping. The sapce inside is not huge but who cares everybody was having fun and the opening is a great way to start the summer. With some of the other places near by this section of Branford is really hopping. Get there early for parking and have a great time

So happy I stumbled upon this place a few weeks ago! It’s right next to the theater district so it’s a fabulous place for pre-show drinks in a fun environment. The happy hour drinks are delicious and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are entering an exclusive tiki lounge. I’ve been back several times and the service is always amazing and makes you feel welcomed. Most recently we went to celebrate my friend who is getting married and the whole staff (including the piano player) made her feel extra special. Huge thanks to the Friki Tiki staff 😊

From the moment we walked in we were guided by very welcoming service followed by great hospitality by Dana one of the servers. Overall a nice ambience with perfect service.

This place is great! I hosted a meetup with a bunch of folks and the manager was so helpful!! They made sure we had an area to ourselves to use for our group and made it super easy for everyone to find each other. The drinks were super yummy and the staff is soooo kind !!! I highly recommend checking this place out everyone had such a great time. Thanks again to the amazing staff!!

One of my favorite new haunts in midtown. Vibes are ON POINT. And the staff is so nice. You never know what celeb might pop in and what fabulous music act might be playing. A Must Visit for locals and tourists!

Nothing to complain about at all regarding the establishment. Except one of the servers (thankfully not our wonderful bartender!) kept blowing her nose but never washed her hands—just kept touching glasses and other barware, which was beyond disgusting. After the third time I quickly closed out and left.

This is worst tiki bar I have ever been to. its not even a tiki bar, its like a Miami vibe with overly sweet drinks.

Randomly came across this place, been here a few times, intimate vibe but also a great friendly energy.

The atmosphere is great. The whole tiki bar experience can be had here. This is a good place to come and drink and listen to live music; but thats about it.This past weekend was my second time visiting Friki Tiki; the first time being just after grand opening last year. I brought some friends because I had hyped it up. In all honesty, I was very disappointed. A handful of special drinks and a poor food menu (if you can even call it that). Last year there was quite the expansive drink and food menu, so Im sad to see that is no longer the case.

New owner & completely different theme. Very comfy feel. They serve food & have full bar with micro brews and cocktails such as mai tais, zombies, etc. I didnt eat this time but will be back.

Loved the Toasted Tiki and the bar was really nice! The tables were tarot cards, which was cool!

Its ok. The piano man should play dance music, not try and be John Valby. The bartender is personable and makes the bar a nice place to hang out.
