My new favourite place in NYC. Amazing and kind service, and the best cacio e pepe I’ve found yet locally! Pasta was the perfect density and super fresh. Wine list is to die for, including orange wines and so many organic. Can’t wait to be back!
We had a nice brunch! the zucchini fritters were our favorites! amazing interior also.
I’ve been loving this place for many years now. Italian owned, cozy, feels like home.Love the drinks and the natural wines, also the people who work here are the best!Aaaand, I dare to say this place has the best Cacio e Peppe of all times 🍝🥇
Came here for a quick brunch while shopping in Soho. The service and the food were both great. Ordered the pancakes, zucchini fritters, olives and the potato chips. The pancakes were excellent especially soft and fluffy the ricotta on the pancake elevated the dish. Expected the zucchini fritters to be more fried but they were relatively soft. However it was still quite tasty
Cozy Italian bistro in Nolita, featuring a modern take on classic fare. Beautiful plating, excellent service, extensive wine menu.
We selected brunch plates and some spritzes. A nice spot in the heart of Nolita neighbourhood with cosy alternative atmosphere.
I enjoyed a weekday lunch here, electing to sit outside on the sidewalk with my son. We split the burrata and Milanese panini, both of which were very good. There are ample wines by the glass to choose from (predominantly Italian varietals) and the cocktail list was decent as well. The interior space is cozy and set up like a living room. The place has a very Euro cafe feel and is a pleasant place to spend for a leisurely meal.
Endive salad is so good! Great atmosphere plus live jazz band on Sunday night!
Very cute restaurant! I really liked the creamy polenta with two poched eggs and mushrooms. You should try this in this restaurant:D My friend got vegetarian carbonara and I tasted, it was not too special but not bad. Cannoli was freshly made but the cream was not like italian creamy texture and had strong lemon taste. I would come back here again :)
Epistrophy is located on Mott St in Little Italy offering breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Casually walk inside to see bookshelves in the brick walls which really brings the extra NYC flavor. We came in for a quick brunch for some healthy Italian eats and drinks. It’s not just healthy but super super delicious from breakfast to lunch to dinner items and don’t forget cocktails! Their friendly staffs helped us thoroughly with the menu due to our terrible Italian. The M&M Old Fashioned tastes just like M&M’s. Definitely melts in your mouth not in your hands. The Epistrophy cocktail simply bursts in amazing flavors. Pancakes are deliciously fluffy and avocado toast is seasoned to perfection. Their in-house made pasta is just fantastic. Highly recommend their sugo di carne. Stopped in for something light to eat mid-afternoon, cute place, nice atmosphere. The fennel and burrata and beet salads were beautiful, and very tasty, as were the cappuccinos. Would definitely go back to try more from their menu!
The first thing that I liked was the interior. It was so nicely done, right from color selection to bookshelf with several Italian books and art pieces. The Sphagetti cacio e pepe was so exciting, as it reminded me of food in Italy! I loved it and would recommend to anyone Epistrophy for the first time. Trofie pesto was so homely, it was so light and fresh.
Average brunch spot. Avocado toast was pretty standard, lemon ricotta pancakes had a very subtle lemon flavor.Service was on the slower side, as it took almost 45 minutes to get our food. Our waitress was a hoot though!
Delicious food and very cute/chic decor and vibe. Big fan of the cacio e pepe, the polenta and the butternut squash toast. The vibe is really artsy and they’ve done a fabulous job with the decor, the design of the place and the food. Service is a bit slow though! Nonetheless, would highly recommend for weekend brunch.
This spot was just okay. I was not too impressed with the squid ink pasta and even some of the mussels were not fully cooked. However, the service was really great and the vibes and ambiance were excellent. I also had the tuna tartare which was also just okay. A bit disappointed by the food, but maybe next time I’ll just have to try different dishes. It’s def worth a shot.
I discovered this restaurant from Instagram because I’m always on the lookout for a place that serves good brunch. I’m so glad I did because I had a very pleasant experience from beginning to end. The first thing I liked about this restaurant was that it serves brunch until 4:30pm. Not many restaurants do that. Then I came when it wasn’t crowded and I was quickly seated at a table. My waiter gave excellent service. I ordered an ice latte with oat milk and it was delicious. Then I ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes because I love any restaurant that has great pancakes. They were very yummy with the whipped ricotta on top. I discovered another restaurant that has great scrambled eggs. These were not dry. They were very good. You will not hear any negative complaint about this restaurant from me. I give my enthusiastic recommendation to everyone for Epistrophy.
Epistrophy is an adorable small dim lit space with a great energy - perfect for a glass of wine and a catch up dinner. Really pleasantly surprised by everything we ordered. The polenta and braised short ribs were the highlight although the brussel sprouts side were also delicious. Slightly less inlove with the quinoa crusted tuna that was on the drier side but overall a wonderful dining experience, all for a very reasonable price.
Food was meh, portions were small. The muscles in the squid ink pasta weren’t fresh, maybe bc it was Sunday. The short rib had nice flavor but the portion was very small for an entree. We left hungry :/
The food, service, and atmosphere is great. The Tuna steak was excellent—probably the best Ive had. A very satisfying experience.
I had a fantastic experience here! I came with my mom for Sunday brunch and we showed up about 15 minutes before our reservation, but they immediately had us seated. Our waiter was polite and friendly, and even checked to see if I was OK with being in the direct sunlight. The lemon ricotta pancakes (pictured) were delicious, as was the polpettine di vitello. Ill definitely come here again.
Delicious food, lovely atmosphere, good for a nice casual dinner or lunch
This place is awesome! Outstanding food and service. Thanks for your great service Plaise/Blaise
The food was absolutely amazing, but the service was not. My friend and I ordered poached eggs, an omelet and zucchini bread, although the latter was unnecessary because the entrees were filling. The one thing that I did not like was the service. My friend and I wanted to switch over to a different table, but they wouldnt let us because there were reservations. Epistrophy never came close to half-full during my time there, and despite pointing out that the table was still empty twenty minutes later, the staff still wouldnt let us switch. Like...seriously?
First impressions last a lifetime. Came here on a whim with the girls and I had such a pleasant time . Food and drinks were just sublime. Really nice suprise .
Loved It here. Super cozy inside. Lovely staff. Food and wine were both delicious. I had the olives (green, black and red!) the quinoa salad - which was very fresh but also really flavorful! The white wine was organic/natural 😊 really enjoyed the experience all around.
Loved this place. We add super good seats for two on a Saturday afternoon. The bursts was insane, and the polenta is so unique and tasty you have to get it.Will come back!
We can’t find these amazing restaurant anymore.I loved, enjoyed food and atmosphere. What a friendly service. It feels like home.It was more than eating a delicious food.I could not ask any more.I can’t wait to go back!Thank you very much.So amazing!See you soon!
Maria’s POV: solid Italian joint. Their daiquiri and mousse was delicious — my main course wasn’t my all time favorite but the pasta was definitely homemade and still tasty. We sat at their couch and it was very homey!
$68 + t/t for a pasta, burrata, and 2 spritzes.Split the burrata with my date who forgot her appetite, but still left hungry. Pasta was not awful, but not memorable either. Was 83°, and they didnt bother refilling our water unless we asked. Looked cute inside, but our table outside wobbled like it had a concussion.
We were looking for a place to eat at lunch, zoning in the neighborhood to find something nice, we could not find a better place, amazing food, lovely people. the bread is awesome. Prices are reasonable.Coffee is very good !
Loved this place! the lemon ricotta pancake was so refreshing🍋 and soft🥹 the cauliflower fritter is must get!!! the foccacia (for free) was also amazing ! love the atmosphere and the server was so nice he fixed the table for us since it was a little shaking! reasonable price also😻🫶
The ambiance was not the best but pasta was good! And if I can give 17192620 stars to Tiramisu I would!
The food was excellent and Andre was so attentive. The staff managed to pamper our party of 12 and we had the best night out. This is one of the fine places to serve authentic Italian food of the highest quality. Ci vediamo :-)
An all around fantastic place. Cant recommend it highly enough.
I visited here while on a trip to NYC with my girlfriend. We were celebrating our anniversary and the waiter brought out two glasses of Prosecco, without asking, to commemorate the event. The atmosphere was cozy and the food was simply wonderful for a reasonable price.
Very small menus with few choices for special diets. Only ended up having a matcha latte which unfortunately tasted and smelled like fish - later researched this and it seems like low quality matcha can do this, super bummed. Portions were very small and majority of my friends left hungry. But it is very cozy and cute.
Very welcomingGreat service way better than Thai dinerOnly a block away. Recommend!
Great spot! Very cozy, delicious pasta. Would recommend the calamari & mushrooms, the orecchiette, and the steak!
Delicious food and great service! Had dinner with friends to catch up, we ate pasta & drank a tasty bottle of orange wine. The restaurant was a bit loud, making it difficult to hear the folks at my table--some fabric or other acoustic absorption would go a long way.
The food was okay overall but there is much better Italian food available elsewhere in the area - this is extremely over priced for what is. Service was terrible and waiter was incredibly rude. Also did not warn us that gratuity was included which resulted in us double tipping him without realizing at the time. The environment in the restaurant felt dirty and gross.
Very tasty! The zucchini frittes was very good!
It might have been a one off, but our table wasnt ready on time which is fine until there was a mess up in the order and our mains had arrived before the starters which might have not been ordered by the waiter. He admitted to the mistake, however didnt offer us anything in return to make us feel better. Food and atmosphere were OK, but nothing too special.
The appetizers and salads was very good. Highly recommend the fritto misto and the endive salad. The pasta however was quite underwhelming. Didn’t taste much of anything. Lovely staff/vibes.
Very much enjoyed the dinner here. Great atmosphere. Books and more dimly lit. Music wasn’t too loud. Easy to talk and relax. Not terribly hard to get a table. The rice balls were excellent to start and the steak was the standout dish. Discount if you pay with cash
Such a cute and cozy spot. Good and cocktails were delicious!
Very sweet service and an awesome bartender. Really enjoyed our food
Nice restaurant serving good coffee. However the waitress was not very friendly and definitely not customer centric. We were sitting outside, next to the entrance while it was raining a bit. She actually refused to serve us because she was afraid to get a cold - thats what she told us... It was 72° F... Her colleague who took over was much more friendly.
Always a favorite of mine. They have such a chill vibe and it’s perfect for stopping in for afternoon cocktails. Their Aperol spritz is the best one I’ve ever had. The bartender makes it with an olive, lemon and sea salt that tastes incredible. Great staff, excellent location. Please always stay open.
Very cute and laid back spot for brunch. Our server recommended we get the Uovo Al Sugo Campidanese and it was best decision; very hearty and delicious !
Great place for a date, and it was a perfect venue for weekend brunch. We’re both vegetarian, and we loved the lemon ricotta pancakes! Epistrophy is a magical space ✨
Had dinner with my brother last week and we both got stomach issues the entire night after. Read this review before but unfortunately we decided to ignore it and ate there anyway.. but yeah.. atmosphere is nice 😒
Fun small place for tasty food and wine. Awesome service. My friend and I had a nice time here. Very cool vibe. An open kitchen lets you experience all of the aromas in the food being prepared. If youre smell sensitive, now you know. It gets noisy when the crowds come in later after 8. Very nice place overall.
Ive been coming here since 2014. The staff is always kind and helpful. The whole vibe is very warm and friendly. The food is super solid Italian. At $25-35 for a main i think youd be hard pressed to find anywhere better in LES/EV.Cant recommend them enough!
If we could give this place zero stars we would but this one star is the only way to write this review. The atmosphere was amazing and the food was delicious but the service by our waitress was horrendous! Not only was our server completely unprofessional and rude but we had reservations (party of 6) and they decided to seat us on a stage with multiple lights pointed at us like we were on display and our dining was some type of show. While we were waiting for our food we were getting strange looks as if we didnt belong there and every question we had were answered with some type of scowl and disgusted look. Not only did we wait 40 MINTUES for food but they got our order wrong, then proceeded to lecture us about repeating our order back to us as if we forgot what we ordered, forgetting a drink and a whole meal which we waited another 20 minutes for after already waiting 40 mintues for the food for our table. Not only did they get the order wrong again they attempted to say that what we ordered took a while to prepare, while still serving it to us raw. In summary we would never come in again as a POC, however they did give us a discount on drinks which did nothing with the outrageous prices and small portions.
Great people great drinks. Love the atmosphere! When around Spring and Mott you must stop in, menu is well done with great options food superb. Will tell friends. Daniello great guy made it a memorable night. Thank you guys. Stay amazing👏
Used to be one of my all time favorites and go tos, and still would recommend for in person. Just please do not attempt to order in from epistrophy / they have decreased portion sizes to the point where my last order of tuna was laughably small. Tried to speak with them because this didn’t use to be the case months ago but they ghosted. Am really sad because truly used to love this place
Excellent service, didnt even seat yet, that water was served, had no particular waiteress for my table but both of them helped out with wine n food. Had mushroom n squash ravioli with pomegranate seeds, excellent taste n texture. Spaghetti with Romano cheese was a little bland for my wifes taste. Overall good experience 👍 oh! One of the best Tiramisu Ive had in my life...perfect dessert!?😊
Nice bar with tables outside. Cool furniture inside.
Papperdelle was okay. Nothing very special, decent portion. Chicken sandwich needed salt badly. The most flavorful item on a chicken sandwich with tomatoes, avocado, cheese, and mayo was the bread.
Cute little neighborhood place in Nolita with great menu. Very charming but can be a bit loud. If youre looking for quiet conversation, this is not it. If youre seeking great food, intimate venue and dont mind the noise (conversation + music) then highly recommended.
Charming spot with a French vibe and Italians food. I would describe it best as a cafe/bar with a living room feel. The food was fresh but not like in Italy. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, who knows.
We chose this restaurant based on previous food reviews from friends. I must say the food did not disappoint, this place also has a very good happy hour. However, the service is the reason for my 3 star rating. Upon arrival it took a server atleast 10 minutes to welcome us and to present us with menus. Although, the main reason for this rating is the final encounter we had with our waitress when paying the cheque. As a party of 5 we paid part of the cheque with cash and the remainder on card. When handing over my card and cash I informed that this was the final amount to be paid which included tip. When she returned with my card and the leftover cash, she rudely informed us that we “did not leave enough tip” for her and pointed out the recommended amount of tip. This made us feel extremely awkward and unwanted in this restaurant. This waitress had no place to tell us how much we should tip her, the suggested gratuity is merely a suggestion rather than a must. The atmosphere she created at the table was awkward, embarrassing and quite frankly disrespectful. All five of our party work in the hospitality industry in both high and low profile restaurants and found this experience quite shocking. This kind of treatment towards customers should not be accepted, no matter what age the customers nor the restaurant location. It was a pity that our experience here ended on a sour note, as if it hadn’t occurred we would have returned.
Great Jones bourbon Manhattan is as great as the food . Good in and you won’t be disappointed . Such an amazing experience
It was SO good! I had the orecchiette which was freshly made. My friend had the burrata. 11/10 all around. Super cute atmosphere and very friendly staff. Excellent cocktails as well. Affordable for the area.
Enjoyed the cocktails here a few nights ago. Well made, a lot of flavour and interesting combinations. The bartender for the night showed us craftsmanship on the highest level! Not tossing bottles but creating really good cocktails!
The food was absolutely delicious but the service was horrendous to say the least. Go as you wish but be prepared to flag down multiple servers just to ask for a glass of water or to order your food. No check-ins, no follow ups, just blatant rudeness and lack of simple customer service.
What a great place to be at. Great ambience and excellent menu . Daniel was a great hostess.
We came for a weekday lunch, and loved it! Delicious cocktails, a range of pasta, salad, sandwiches, and breakfast dishes. Firstly staff and a nice vibe inside and outside! We’ll definitely be back when we’re in the area
Good service, tasty food, and nice ambiance! Not cheap- but worth a visit :)
Lovely place offering tasty & healthy food in a cosy atmosphere. Moderately priced (+/- $60 for 2, incl drinks & coffee) 😊
Walked around the neighborhood and ended up here. Super happy to find this place. Great environment, small and cozy, full of good conversation and people spending hours over a great meal and drinks. Two of us sat at the bar which was perfect to talk with the bartender, Kit, who was awesome.
Small glimpse of Italy in New York. excellent pasta dishes, but surprisingly the best dishes are the meat ones. excellent quality, Giaime and her wife excellent managers and friendly people. professionals
We had a great meal here! The atmosphere is cozy. The wine is amazing. The food was superb. Standouts were the burrata and the short rib. Well be back for sure.
Food was delicccccious! Walked by the restaurant and just decided to stop for a quick bite! No reso, but got a table really fast on Saturday afternoon!Cozy atmosphere! Great service! Tuna Tartar and Burrata Salad were out of this world! One of my fav places now in NYC!!!
A cute little restaurant with exceptional food and wine. It is not only lovely for dinner but also perfect to grab a glass of wine with some snacks.
Great cafe in the heart of Nolita. I used to go only for coffees but once I actually stopped in for lunch and it was good. The pasta is not bad and they have croissants with Nutella. Very relaxing environment. No wonder people will take a shopping break to come here.
Cool place and friendly staff
I am disappointed. We were pleased by the settings and design of the place, but thats where the positive experience stopped. I have been waiting an hour for an half empty plate in an almost empty and fully staffed restaurant. Food was ok,but the pasta was very generic, not better than what anyone can do at home. The service is the definition of smug and careless.
Very tasty selection of finger food as well as delicious meals. The bar is especially interesting with drinks mixes. Funniest part is the cook the food on hot plates and its fantastic.
Appalling service. Rude, terse server. Roof started leaking water on the guests next to us, and splattering on us as well. The table next to us was moved after they continued to complain, we however were not checked in on once during the meal or as water continued to drip from the roof right next to where we were sitting. The tables around us were served complimentary bread, we were not. The bill for two of us was $100.00 and we left hungry and annoyed.
Came here for a friend’s birthday and it was amazing! the cacio e pepe was incredible and we loved the experience.
Excellent food, service and vibe. Hanger steak and Gnocchi... excellent. Sauces are fabulous. Accompanied by a great Brunello. I’ll be back.Mel took good care of us.
Walking in and seeing books on the shelves was different. We were welcomed by the owner and promptly seated. Did not get anything to eat, only wines to drink. It was a different kind of experience. This place special in a good way.
Worst restaurant Ive been to in the city. Embarrassingly Ive been a handful of times and its gotten progessively worse over the years. The most recent time I was given a gnocchi without any sauce. The wine was horrendous and the waitress acted like she was doing us a favor. Somehow the tip was included. Gross. Theres no reason to put up with food this bad in nyc.
Very slow service. Wondering if waiters team is not high. We had to remind twice that we ordered drinks, and 4times for the check.Food is average, potatoes are good though.Changes in management would be highly beneficial
It wasn’t just only delicious and fresh, but it also felt really healthy. Their Americano coffee was fantastic. Don’t miss out on this place! We loved the decor!
Don’t make a reservation here if you’re expecting this restaurant to honor it. I had a reservation here to meet 4 of my friends for dinner and on the day of they sent me a text asking me to cancel the reservation in Resy because something was broken in the restaurant and the kitchen was closed. My wife called an hour later and they were taking reservations, just not for our time slot. The Resy app showed they were still taking late night reservations, just not during the hour we had reserved. We clearly got bumped for some of the restaurant’s friends. Don’t make a reservation here if you are expecting them to honor it.
Stopped in for a snack and some wine while reading. Lovely place and staff, wine and food were great. Will definitely come back.
Epistrophy is an adorable restaurant situated in the heart of NoLita, which is one of the best neighborhoods in Manhattan. The ambiance is casual but cool, and the restaurant itself is extremely quaint. The happy hour was great and they have an extensive drink selection. My boyfriend and I shared the calamari as an appetizer, which was delicious. He ordered the Cacio e Pepe and I ordered the hanger steak, they were both too good for words. Def coming back!
The food is freaking amazing here and the service is always great too. I highly recommend trying them out if you nearby.
Feels like you’re in Europe when you eat here. Staff is Italian. Great wine selection. Delicious food.
Very cute place. They have tables outside on quite street so you can enjoy the weather. Food is good too, and they offer an orange fresh which is a rare find in Soho cafes.
Amazing pancakes in nyc... lovely place, and lovely card 💯
A cozy place in the middle of NoLIta. Great coffee, prompt and courteous service. A perfect place to meet friends and chat for hours, or just work on your laptop. Like in a Starbucks, but with better coffee. Its quiet like that.
The pasta and main entrees were delicious. The service was great, and the atmosphere is cute and cozy! ❤️
Cool little hipster Italian place. We were just walking past and needed somewhere to reboot after a long day of walking through NYC. They had a happy hour sign in the front so we decided to check it out. The service was ok but the food was surprisingly delicious. We ordered the calamari and the green pea bruschetta. All I can say is we were all impressed but the quality of these dishes the presentation was also spot on.
A wonderful treasure on the outskirts of Little Italy. Rustic and quirky decor, comfortable atmosphere, delicious, well presented food. Generous portions and good service.
I like this place but I had better. I liked my breakfast it was Poached Eggs & Polenta. Maybe a little more salt would make it better. I ordered iced almond latte but didn’t really enjoy it. The service was good though!
Absolute banger sandwich. super cute, good vibes, good music, good service!
My favorite spot in Soho and in NYC. Wonderful food and lovely atmosphere. The staff makes you feel so welcome, a gem.
- very cool, European atmosphere- Food is delicious, not too much texture- think they have more seating during COVID than before
Seating is very congested and few vegetarian options, that too not good ones. Cocktails served in a tiny glass!
Cute place for brunch or dinner with friends. There is a cute place to wait in the front with low couches around a coffee table. I preferred the brunch options to the dinner options but youll get a solid meal either way. Really great gluten free and vegetarian options and they even had gluten free chocolate banana bread. They were really accommodating when our reservation size changed for brunch, but service overall is kinda slow. The atmosphere is so fun that you wont mind.
Food was mediocre and our waitress was far too casual and just odd. Amazing drinks though!
Amazing Italian food, drink and service. Do not hesitate.
Cute Italian restaurant with outdoor dining options. We made reservations prior to going to get outdoor seating. I can’t imagine what the wait would be without it. Their steak was pricey but good. Also a fun cocktail menu to choose from. The pina colada has coffee ground in it? Not sure if i was a fan but i can definitely say it was an experience.
Great spot for a light lunch. Pasta was handmade, perfect al dente and portion just right to eat the whole thing with no food coma!Thank you!
I loved the flavors of the food, very unique combinations. However, the pasta came out lukewarm and not all that appetizing.
Cute little scene-y cafe straight out of a 90s movie taking place in NYC. Grabbing a prosecco cocktail outside in the warmer months makes this place a gem.
Obsessed with the atmosphere! Its just so cute...I would design my apartment like this restaurant if I could. Food is delish!
This restaurant has a very cute, rustic ambiance. I wouldn’t say it’s great for large groups unless you get there early. A small group of four is great though. They have handmade pasta on the menu, which was all very tender and creamy. The portions are small but very filling. Pictured is the Cotoletta alla Milanese sandwich which had a great chicken cutlet, fresh tomato and sauce. It was crunchy and delicious!
Was good
We went in for a quick drink, and the service and Location were perfect for our trip!
Its great. The server was super nice and the food is good.
Pasta is cooked to perfection. The meat sauce was amazing. The gnocchi is also top class
Love this place so much. Service is always friendly and the drinks are really tasty. Great happy hour too!
A very good food and nice people!!!
The brunch was great!
Cute and cozy. Must try the olives!
Amazing place, kind staff, incredible atmosphere and great food. Simply great!!!!
Good service but pretty average food. The spaghetti pesto was very pesto-y
Delicious food excellent services great atmosphere with excellent drinks, keep up the good work guys 👏🧿
Love the staff and the ambience but the food was not very good, especially for the price. Maybe an off night (Monday)!
Very good food and the personal is super nice and understanding! I definetely recommend, best service I experienced in a long time!
Been here twice and had great experiences both times! I had sangria and burrata- recommend both!
Unique atmosphere with great food and service. I would recommend this place for a good lunch spot!
Great atmosphere and experience. Food was overall great but one or two plates not so much.
Great lunch spot. Had the salmon salad and two glasses of pinot noir. Fantastic Sunday afternoon.
After 20 years of activity this has become a local hangout with a contemporary vibe nested in traditional Italian kitchen from Sardinia. Love the place, the people, the workers, the owners.
The food was ok but the place was too small and busy.
I met friends here and it was amazing! The ambiance was wonderful and our waitress was perfect. She was attentive yet gave us so our space. The food was delightful. We ordered the butternut squash bruschetta (a must) and olives to start. The Kabocha squash ravioli was absolutely delicious. You could tell the pasta was indeed homemade and made with love. It was a smaller portion, so if you have an appetite like me, maybe order a salad to fill up more. Can’t wait to come back and try more!
The pesto pasta gave me food poisoning but overall it was a chill vibe would/nt go again
Excellent authentic regional Italian restaurant, specifically from Sardinia. Delicious malloreddus, cannonau and mirto.
Delicious poached eggs and polenta.
Probably the best breakfast on in Soho area. Very tasty zucchini fritters and good coffee.
Absolutely delicious food & great service, lovely place
Really really good Tortelli de Zucca, also the vibe was immaculate. If Im in SoHo Im coming back
Exceptionally great value for the price and location. My short rib and polenta main course was delicious. Nice vibes and all-around good meal.
Great place, great food, jazz on Sundays!!
Really had an incredibly nice quiet breakfast in this small restaurant. Farro and eggs and pancakes were all delicious. And a bicicleta for breakfast is a winner in my world
Small mains courses but taste good and reasonably priced. The decor is nice, service a little bit unfriendly but fine
Food was delicious. Inside decor of this cafe was interesting and relaxing))
LOOOOOOORRDD ALRMIGHTYYYY.Had a burrito from down the street but couldn’t resist the pasta here. Holy lord gawd this is tasty.Carlo is the man
Nice atmosphere but Mediocre food...nothing to write home about. Zucchini fritters looked nice though
Kind staff, very cozy place to sit and enjoy your tea, coffee or other. Worth a visit.
Small dishes, pricey, noisy. The desserts were not good either.
Good coffee and tiramisu. Must sit outside alfresco to soak in the beautiful sunshine ànd atmosphere.
Good food, average service
Very cozy atmosphere, greatfood and drinks. Pretty cool place for drinks and light meal
The brunch was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the zucchini fritters!
Really good Vegan burgers!! Great staff and ambience!
Drinks were great but service was terrible. The waiter was completely uninterested in giving suggestions about drinks. 20% gratuity is included but they push tipping with Apple Pay and don’t tell you. Ended up paying 40% with bad service… Probably won’t come back.
We had a stunning breakfast / brunch. This is a beautiful place and the waiter was excellent.
My best friend and I have made this our go to dinner spot when we get together to catch up. We’ve been coming for years and it’s always been consistently good. We usually share the burrata, I always get the orecchiette - excellent. They have a nice wine list. I love their version of the spritz. Servers are always attentive, but relaxed and friendly and we never feel rushed.
Amazing drinks and service. The bartender is very welcoming and cultural…he knows a lot about different cultures which is Amazing and should be something that every place in Ny should have!
I loveeeedddd everything here . What an amazing taste . Egg hater like me who needs to egg due to medical reason loved the egg
Perfect little spot, great food & coffee & service. Plus not pricy!
Always good. Bolognese is A+
No pancakes today...well, well try harder to find them out next time :))
Beautiful restaurant, amazing staff great food, outdoor seating.
Maeve and Blaise are the best combo sincere nice and great service.2 of the best nicest people in the business and Ive been around 35 yrs going to bars Ill be back excellent cocktails great place highly recommend
Nice IPA as well. good food and no crazy big american portions
Best bistrot in NYC . Excellent italian coffee
Love the pappardelle with truffle in this cozy little place!
Great food, friendly entertaining staff and delicious cocktails. Try the espresso martini!
Pleasant location with a good service.Excellent ration quality/price.Recommended!
I work in the area and sometimes go for lunch - great food, charming decor, not crowded.
Came here for dinner with friends, limited seafood options, the tuna steak asked for medium and got well done, was still good i guess. the waiter was confused that i asked for chili flakes prior to tasting my food.. i get it might be rude to the chef but if i know i have a high spice preference then just accommodate please. they should have a mock tail menu given where they’re located. some of us don’t want alcohol on a monday night
Great vibe and food. Simple.
Cute wine bar. Good happy hour deals. Cool vibe!
Great cocktails.
Great food and service the PAPPARDELLE AL SUGO DI CARNE was amazing highly recommended
Good food. Tiny place. Cash only. Imposing an 18 percent service
Comfy place, chilled and kind waiters - like a living room with great food
Bartenders are great. i had the house cocktail and pasta with cream sauce and pasta and loved both
We stopped in for coffee and chill and it was great.
Just an incredibly solid confident restaurant, now a rarity, with excellent prices given the value. I recommend the perfectly balanced orecchiette.
The atmosphere is great and we had a great time catching up. However their portion is so tiny! My sweet potato tortelli main only has 7 or 8 of them in the plate, which I finished in 7 bites … My friends were laughing at that when it was served. I was not even half full when I finished. Don’t market it as a main dish if it’s a small plate! I felt like being scammed.
Nice staff, food, wine, crowd and atmosphere. What you want more ?!
Compliments to the chef! We had a scrumptious dinner. All dishes on the menu were delicious. We were pleasantly surprised to find this gem. We will definitely come back to this tasty and cozy restaurant.
Food is decent. the servers are very sweet!
Great and affordable food in a nicely designed space!
Very cosy place and nice staff, they care about the place. Nice interior details.
Consistently solid. Good brunch, OK pasta, OK coffee.
Unimpressive and rather bland breakfast/brunch. Nothing noteworthy to explain the high prices.
We came before dinner for drinks and to do some work on our laptops so cant review the food, but the atmosphere was top notch. Its like going to a cafe/library/restaurant with a very chilled atmosphere and staff who act like family. If you just need a bit of time to chill, drink, or work, this is the place for you. Next time we will try the food!
Had a very nice polenta here. Relaxing and comfy.
Great quality food and nice ambiance
I hate to spread bad vibes. But I got one of the worst food poisoning experiences of my life from the cacio e pepe pasta. Like literally almost went to the hospital type of bad. When I had notified the restaurant they were blasé and dismissive. The fact they didn’t offer a refund as a gesture for what they caused, astounds me. If you search “food poisoning” in reviews you’ll see I’m not alone to have experienced it.
Wanted to love this place. the vibe is great but not the food. ordered two pasta dishes and the pasta was completely undercooked. :( our starter dishes were average and the bread was super dry.
Excellent service and atmosphere!
Great Italian food in a cute spot
Delicious food 😋
Fantastic food, great Service
Cozy, comfy, homey vibe, with friendly and helpful people. Very solid food, best polenta Ive ever had!
More than decent pasta! Recomendation : ravioli with pesto
Eating here was a pleasant surprise. I’m always a bit skeptical when I eat Italian, but this restaurant upheld an authentic italian vibe, food quality, and experience. Looking forward to the next meal!
Best breakfast ever!!!I visited from Florida and ate breakfast here two days in a row. It wasn’t just only delicious and fresh, but it also felt really health. And their Americano coffee was fantastic. Don’t miss out on this place.Sincerely,Lars
